Good question! Evan doesn't really like him, but will follow him around if there's nothing better to do. He's never really heard Freddy's side of the story, and Goldie can really spin a story around as well all know, so it really isn't hard for Crying Child to really dislike him, especially when he's so rude to his ex-brother.

That being said, CC does warm up to Freddy, far later in the story, but he reminds him of his own brother always pushed around, he doesn't even remember their last conversation- to ever fully get rid of his negative feelings toward him.
