This weekend I did some Ratchpactor. I rewatched WFC and relived the same agony for them.

Lore:

Impactor and Ratchet met on Cybertron, in the midst of the war when Impactor, a Decepticon left for dead by his comrades, was saved by the Autobot medic. The two became extremely close, but as Cybertron began to go dark and Autobot ships departed the planet, they found themselves on different ships. While Impactor's ship survived the trip out to fight on in the rest of a vast, uncharted galaxy, the Ark, which Ratchet was on, wound up thousands of light years away due to a quantum malfunction, ultimately crash landing on Earth. Awakening on an alien planet after an unknown duration of time, Ratchet has no idea the fate of Impactor or anyone, really, other than the small portion of the crew of the Ark that crash landed on Earth. Thousands of light years apart, separated by millenia of time that have passed, they can only hope that the other is alive and that someday, they will find each other again.

a two year old edit (my first tf edit) and it was the ratchpactor ship… it’s long and kinda scuffed but I was making it through tears okay >:] I had just finished siege when I made this…

these two were also the subject of my first transformers fanfic I posted to ao3 (I believe?) so… glad to know we share the ship…

The best part about this comic is that it's actually AT LEAST 3 shanix! because in the 2005 idw continuity, there's another Decepticon, Grit-- the guy who combines w/ my g1 Knockout--who basically left the faction because of Ratchet (and Drift) too!!!!
