i never get tired of thinking about her being asked to come dress up the quintuplets, rather than them all putting ilma in whatever outfits they think are cool.

her just saying "Oh, I have an idea!" and proceeds to put ilma in something in type 2 that is skimpy AF.

he goes ???? at first wearing it obviously and is super embarrassed. meri facepalms, taivas complains that it's not cool at all, tuuli looks away because wtf is that stupid outfit even, and kukka be like "good for you... ? i guess?"

an all around disaster.

German article about Darja including an interview about the AA win where she said the AA Gold medal means more to her than all other 4 gold medals. She says "it means everything" and she is emphasizing ALLES (german for: everything)

The other video is from after her first world championship last year where they tell about her German grandfather and how she liked gymnastics but was not good enough to be considered for the elite sports department in Russia, so she moved all on her own into Germany far away from home. They also showed her in school and interviewed her teacher who said she's very good in school.

Darja is living with her father in Fellbach, her mother is still in Russia, but often visiting her.

Yulia Raskina said she was just "okay" as a junior gymnasts and she worked slowly with her without stress and pressure.

i think her evilness opposed to the change bc it happened differently than others, before the war gymnasts like Nazarenkova or Salos changed nationality bc they viner knew the dept in russia was too big so she sent some of her faves to compete for other countries, like Elizaveta, or after they were invited by other federations like Nastya. After the war erupted, yes, she said she won't oppose to her gymnasts changing nationality but if done "in plain sight" (for example Tugolukova).

Simakova however fell behind in terms of ranking since turning senior in 2020 as the twins were still the top 2, the new k*baeva Lala Kramarenko also entered seniors and Selezneva & Trubnikova were there too. In addiction to that in 2021 she picked up an injury and was unable to train for some time (she was back in Omsk for a while, training with her old coach, not with the NT). In the same year, when she was under 18, her parents emigrated to Germany under the Russlanddeutsche (she was indeed born in siberia where many ethnically germans were deported in wwii), in late 2021/early 2022 she also moved to be near them and around the same time she expressed the desire to train under Raskina.

However no one told viner the move was permanent, allegedly she thought she went to germany to treat her injury, Simakova refused to come back to novogorsk and, probably, made some shady comments about preferring Yulia Raskina to irina. In the end she received a german passport in october and in november she enrolled to the federal training base, she's eligible to compete for germany from march 2024.

Simakova was the 2019 Junior World Champion in Rope. She changed nationalities from Russia to Germany but Russia opposed her change and she's currently sitting out of international competition for one year until March 2024. However she is able to continue competing domestically in the Rhythmic Bundesliga. Irina Viner has not opposed all Russian gymnast country changes and I do not know the story behind why she has opposed Simakova's.
