This is probably my last day for my very delayed post 😭 !!!

This is a little homage to my younger self which I did another post similar to this x over 5 years ago 😭

A short story about Italiet walking through a forest

Tolys led the way through the forest. Feli followed, admiring the man in front of him even though he was supposed to be admiring the nature around them. Tolys took his time making sure to give his full attention towards the surrounding plants and animals. Feli would have been jealous if it wasn't so sweet. Besides it gave him time to admire the man he loved.

Instead of looking at the brown bark of trees, Feli looked at the brown waves of Tolys' hair.  Instead of watching deer walk by, he watched how delicately Tolys placed his feet on the forest floor. Instead of looking at the green leaves, Feli looked at Tolys' bright green eyes. To him they were more alive than any bush or leaf.

Tolys moved his hand, so it met Feli's. Feli held onto it, basking in its rough warmth. Tolys guided him up a hill. Feli followed, barely acknowledging the plants they passed. Tolys pointed towards some flowers, so Feli looked and smiled. He went to pick them, but Tolys shook his head. Feli understood and let them stay in nature. He continued following Tolys up the hill, and then he saw it. A perfect view of a setting sun.

"Do you like it?" Tolys asked him. Feli nodded. The way the sunlight hit Tolys was magnificent.

"Belissimo," he said, contently. Tolys smiled, and Feli's answer didn't feel good enough anymore. The light of the sunset was nothing compared to the light of Tolys' smile.

Rare Pair Week 2024 - Day 4

Not so Needed Secret

He was probably just being silly. After all, Alfred was easygoing enough. And considering how he looked at Tolys, he wouldn’t find it weird that Matthew was eyeing his other houseworker. But Lovino asked for him to keep it under wraps for the time being.

It was late at night. Matthew was unpacking his things in Alfred’s guest room. He was visiting for the next two weeks like he did every other month. His packing was interrupted however by a knock at his door. 

“Come in,” Matthew called, not stopping.

“Mateo?” 

Matthew turned around to find Lovino in the doorway. A wide smile spread across Matthew's face. 

“Do you um…need help unpacking?” Lovino asked, cheeks growing red, eyes drifting to the side.

“Did Alfred put you up to this?”

“No…”

Matthew beamed. “Then okay! Not that I have much left to do.”

Lovino shuffled into the room and began folding the leftover clothes and putting them into the dresser. “You should just leave enough clothes and such here, that way you can travel lighter” he muttered.

Matthew shrugged. “I don’t want to leave more laundry for you two.”

“It would only be washed after you came over.” Lovino’s cheeks reddened, eyeing off to the side again. “And for you…I-I wouldn’t mind it.” 

Matthew suppressed a squeal, not wanting to scare Lovino off from being flirty. Instead, Matthew pulled him by the waist and spun him around until they were chest to chest. Well…not exactly given how tall Matthew was. He pressed a kiss to Lovino’s forehead. 

“Mattie,” Lovino shrieked, “Alfred could walk in any minute.”

Matthew only laughed, shaking his head. “As if. It’s late and he’s–”

The door burst open, a loud voice ringing through the room. “Hey Mattie! I was just about to head to bed and wanted to check–”

Alfred stared at the two lovers wide-eyed and silent.

Lovino gripped onto Matthew, pressing closer to him. Matthew squeezed him tighter, eyeing Alfred, heart thumping between his ears. 

Seconds seemed to stretch beyond time. Alfred with an unreadable look stared into their souls. 

“Why didn’t you tell me sooner?” Alfred cheered, wrapping his arms around both of them. “Maaaattie, I thought we told each other everything?”

“Uh w-well I…” Matthew stammered. 

“It was my request,” Lovino cut in. “I…I didn’t want you getting up in our business.”

“No fair,” Alfred whined. But he let them go. “Well, I’ll leave you two be. But don’t stay up too late. Especially you Lovi. You still need to cook breakfast tomorrow. And I want it to be extra good for my bro here.”

Alfred threw them both a wink and laughed as he exited. 

Lovino was bright red when Matthew finally looked back at his lover. Matthew smirked, leaning down. “Well, it has been a while–”

He shoved Matthew’s face away. “You’re as bad as your brother,” he hissed. 

“Awww come on! I was only teasing. I’m too wiped for something like that anyway.” 

Lovino just grumbled to himself in Italian as he shoved the now empty suitcase into the closet. 

“Do I still get cuddles?” Matthew pouted, coming up behind Lovino and wrapping his arms around his waist. 

“I don’t know if you deserve it,” Lovino huffed.

“Please.”

Lovino bit his lip, closing his eyes. He would not fall for the puppy-eye card that Matthew surely just pulled. Matthew pulled him closer, so close he could feel breath on his neck. Soft but cool lips left a trail of kisses. It felt nice against his flushed skin. 

“Fine,” Lovino finally sighed. “You’re lucky I’ve missed you.” 

He turned around and pulled Matthew down by the collar, pressing their lips together in a proper kiss.

I couldn't find it anywhere in the rules so sorry if it's been mentioned before, but are we allowed to do art for this? I don't know if I have the energy to write seven fics right now but I wanna participate lol.

Of course you are allowed to draw art.

Anything creative is allowed.

Also you don't need to participate for every day of the week. You can submit for the days you can.

Day 4- secret relationship

He’s so particular with his coffee no one ever gets it right, many have tried until one lucky Spaniard somehow manages to strike the right balance. Could it be coincidence, or rather something more than fellow managers working with one another too often.

Anyways :) lil quick stuff I make so I don’t overly focus on the details or other stuff!! Maybe I’ll wrap it up with one for day

Ship ideas!!

Edit: I'm probably going with Liechtenstein x Iceland, as suggested on a discord server, but ideas are still cool! :D

I am running out of rarepair ship ideas for Hetalia Rarepair Week since I blank on everything I'm interested in the moment I see the prompts. Does anyone have ANY ideas for the prompt "Raising a family & Nature," I've already finished the other six days.

The rarepair ships that are off limits (I've already done them for the event, I don't want to repeat any) are Netherlands x Japan, Czechia x Slovakia, Austria x Switzerland (zombie AU), Taiwan x Ukraine, Romania x Bulgaria, and Prussia x Seborga.

I don't have a preference for any gender of the parties involved, but I don't really engage with Nyotalia or 2ptaila most of the time.

Any ideas are appreciated!! I need to pick one before August 15th. (But preferably within what's left of this day.)

i choose greek mythology. drawing inspired in apollo and hyacinth. apollo [god] and hyacinth [human] were lovers until hyacinth died by a strike of a disk. unwilling to let his lover go, apollo made flowers grow out of hyacinth’s blood :3
