“I’m going to be there almost for a whole day. I love those idiots, but I still need my best friend to cheer me up." Natasha threw her hand over your shoulders, trying to convince you to go with her on a tattoo session. It was not her first time, but now she wanted to get a much bigger one on her thigh, and, for some reason, she really wanted you to go with her, using the fact that it was your day off.
“Nat, you know that I hate going to such places. I’m socially awkward; what am I gonna do there for so long? I don’t even know those people.” You frowned, already feeling a bundle of nerves in your stomach.
You were what others may call boring, but you rarely went to unknown places or hung out with random people. You would rather stay with a book in your apartment and read for a whole day than get into such situations. Not to mention, that tattoo salon was full of men, and it made the whole situation even worse.
“But you’re going to be with me. They are the nice guys, I promise. You will sit with us in the room; we can talk, or you can read another book, while Barnes will do my tattoo. I just don’t want to die of boredom there. Please?” She pulled you even closer, and you knew that she wouldn’t let that go. So you had no other choice but to agree.
Tumblr media
You didn’t know what you were thinking when you decided that wearing a light, flowy dress would be a good idea. Because now, following Nat out of her car to that tattoo studio, it felt too short, too open, and just too much. You tried to calm down, thinking to yourself that there was nothing serious; you were just going to wait in the corner, and other people probably wouldn’t even pay attention or talk to you. Natasha, with her boldness and openness, was always the center, and you were totally fine with that.
But you were so wrong.
As soon as you walked inside, four men stopped talking, turning around to face you and Nat, and you honestly thought that you were going to faint.
“Hey, guys. Hope you don’t mind that I brought my friend. So I do not have to listen to your boring asses complain all day." She teased, dragging you by the hand like a mom who tried to encourage her kid to talk. You were round-eyed, and a wave of heat washed over your body when you were face-to-face with a blonde and big guy. But before either of you could say or do something, a person who you didn’t recognise at first stepped in, pulling you into a hug.
“Isn’t it my favorite book girly ever? How are you doin’?” Sam’s enthusiasm and energy were always so refreshing to you, so when he quickly pulled away, instead wrapping an arm around your shoulders and pushing you further into a studio, you tried to stay calm and not freak out.
"I didn't know that you were working here. How’s Sarah?” You asked, looking up at him.
“Yup, for a few years. She is doing great, but AJ and Cass are a pain in the ass. They are growing too quickly, you know." He chuckled. “Now, say hi to those idiots.” He moved his head toward the men who were silently observing your interaction. “Tony, Steve, and Bucky.” Sam named them in order. Tony just nodded to you, Steve smiled with the friendliest smile you had ever seen, and Bucky...
Your head became empty as soon as your eyes landed on him for the first time. He was leaning on the wall at the back of the room, so you didn’t pay much attention to him at first. He was hot. Unbelievebly hot. He was tall and muscular, with a low bun at the back of his head and tattoos covering the visible parts of his arms and neck. And as your gaze moved to his face, you almost choked on a fucking breath.
Piercing blue eyes looked right directly at you, and the slightest smirk curled the corner of his lips. You didn’t know whether you felt too cold, too hot, or if you just wanted to vanish right on the spot. Your face heated, your eyes started running around the room, and your heart was beating a few times faster. It was overwhelming, and you thought that you would have to go out of there, but right on time, Natasha stepped in front of you, dragging all attention to herself.
Bucky had to admit that once in his life, Sam was right. Sam tried to convince Bucky to go to that book shop for a few months, saying that he had to meet with the girl who worked there, but he was way too stubborn.
He would have done it a long time ago if he knew you would look like the most precious, cute, and sweet person. Bucky could not take his gaze away from you as soon as Natasha dragged you inside, absorbing everything—from the way you looked so soft and pretty in that dress to the way you blushed and were nervous about the whole thing.
He saw your reaction—how you became even more flushed after your intense stares at each other. Bucky was never the type of guy who liked to tease you, but Goddammit, he wanted to see how you would react if he stepped closer and talked to you. He also wasn’t creepy towards women, but the only thought that came to his mind was that he wanted to taste you. The desire to shove your back into the wall, lift up the skirt of your dress, and fall to his knees was shocking; he had never felt such an instant pull toward another person.
“Barnes, are we going to start, or you’re planning on standing and staring for a whole day?” Natasha crossed her arms over her chest as if she were annoyed, but you thought that you heard something weird in her voice, as if she held back a smile.
And then she quickly looked back at Sam and nodded with a smirk.
You just followed Nat and Bucky to his own part of the studio. Too lost in your head because of your friend’s weird behavior, you sat down on the sofa in the corner, and the next thing you noticed was the tall figure leaning above you. You probably got carried away to much because now there was a cup of tea standing in front of you on the table.
You looked up, only to meet those pretty blue eyes again. Bucky looked down at you with the same smirk on his lips, and you could barely form a normal thought in your head.
“Hope you don’t mind a hot tea, princess?” Yup, you were dead. Of course, he had to have the sexiest voice you have ever heard in your life. It was not enough for him to be charming or look like a fucking sin—he also had to sound hot.
“Thank you.” You almost whispered.
Bucky gave you another mysterious smile before going back to his place, where Nat was already without her pants and ready to start.
You and Nat were talking for the next few hours—well, she was mostly talking about a girl named Maria that she met not so long ago, and you were nodding, listening, and sipping your tea. That way, you almost forgot about Bucky sitting in the room with you because he was too focused on his job and didn’t even look away from the tattoo.
To be honest, you accidentally looked at him one or two times because it was hard not to notice a few curls slipping out of his bun, or the way his tattooed and veiny arms seemed so sexy, or that perfect face profile... Fuck. But everything was good until Nat suddenly asked him to stop for a few minutes.
“I really need to pee, Barnes.” She quickly jumped out of her place, winking at you as she walked away.
“Natasha…” You hissed at her when she left you and Bucky alone in the room, your insides already shivering with nerves. She was fucking doing it on purpose. You were sure that everything here was her plan to set you up with Bucky because she had never left you anywhere alone, knowing your nervousness.
“Are you afraid to stay with me alone?” Bucky chuckled, stretching his neck from an uncomfortable position. Your cheeks heated, and you unconsciously started scratching the surface of your phone case. He was charming. He obviously knew that, judging by the way he acted to tease you. When his question was left without an answer, he just shook his head, smiling to himself. “I didn’t know that Nat was dating girls.”
Bucky was desperately trying to make you talk. He saw how you looked at your friend when she left you alone with him, and knowing Nat, she would not have done it if you were truly afraid of him. So he was hoping that you were just too shy to talk to him and that he could make something out of it.
“Mhm. What, you hoped to have a chance with her?” You finally looked up, and you couldn’t hide the disappointment in your voice. Of course, Bucky was just trying to hit on your friend. Everyone tried. And you knew that she was so pretty and an amazing person, really, but you just wanted to experience it yourself at least once.
“With Nat?” Bucky almost laughed, genuinely taken aback by your response. “Nah, she’s cool, but not my type.”
“And who is your type?” You asked before you could even think about it.
"You know, those cute and shy girls who can barely talk to anyone and easily blush or get nervous." You froze in your place, and you swore that the blood in your veins had done the same. Your eyes widened in shock, looking at the proudly smirking Bucky. Did he really mean that, or was it just a stupid joke?
Natasha came into the room, curiously looking between you two, but you just stayed silent and looked away again, staying even quieter until the end of the session.
Tumblr media
“Why did you do that?” You frowned, looking away from Nat and crossing your arms over your chest. As soon as she was done, you almost ran out of that place, the mixture of weird feelings bubbling inside of you, and you were too frustrated to even talk to someone there.
“Did what?” Your head snapped back at her innocent, unbothered voice. She rolled her eyes, not looking away from the road. “I did that because I love you.”
“And I love you too, but I hate that you and Sam put me in this position!”
“I’m sorry if we made you uncomfortable. Don’t be mad at what I’m about to say, but I know that you feel lonely and that you want to have someone or to date someone. I understand your anxiety; I really do, but I wanted to help you.” Her voice sounded so genuine, and even if you were mad, you knew that Nat had always tried to do what was best for you. “Bucky is a good guy. He’s attractive, he’s kind, he’s funny, and he's definitely not a player. I just wanted you to meet him, and from what I saw, there was a sparkle between you.”
You didn’t say anything to that, because she was totally right. Even if you had never said that out loud, you wanted someone to like you. Was it that much to ask? It was just hard to believe that someone as attractive as Bucky, who could easily get a good handful of women whenever he wanted to, had actually flirted with you.
Tumblr media
The next day, when you finally returned to your favorite place in the world, it was crazy. For some reason, too many people came to the bookshop, and almost everyone needed your advice or help. You were running around the shelves, putting the books in their places, receiving the payment, and then welcoming new customers. So when, at 9 p.m., you put the sign ‘closed’ on the door, you felt the relief that the day was almost over.
You still had a lot to do, though. Taking the pile of books from the front table, you went to the back room, where you stored some of them. Suddenly, you heard the bell ringing and heavy footsteps on the wooden floor.
“I’m sorry, but we are already closed. Please come tomor—” You forgot what you wanted to say when you looked out of the room into the main part of the store and saw the last person you ever expected.
“Hey, princess.” Bucky put his hands into the front pockets, which made him seem even bigger, and smiled at you in a way that made your knees weak. He looked similar to what you saw yesterday—a low bun, black jeans, and a shirt that revealed some of his tattoos. God, his tattoos made you imagine things that were too inappropriate to say out loud. “Sorry that I came so late, but I just got off work, and I really wanted to see the place Sam has been bugging me about for weeks.” He noticed how you were looking at him again, but he decided not to tease you about it.
“Um, hi.” You dusted off your hands and fixed the bottom part of your dress to make sure that everything was in it’s place. Bucky couldn’t help but follow your hands, staring at the way the hem of your dress moved around your thighs. “Do you need something? Like a book? Or you came just to get rid of Sam?”
“Yeah, maybe a fantasy book or something like that.”
“I can show you where we have it, but I, um, need to finish the work here, so it would be great if you'd find a book that you like by yourself. Is that okay?” His stare was intense, and you really didn’t know what to do with this. Was he always like that with women? But Nat said that he wasn’t a player, and you trusted her more than yourself.
“Totally.” You nodded, calmed down your nerves as much as you could to not embarrass yourself in front of him, and you showed the way to the shelves at the back of the shop.
“Take as much time as you need; I’ll go... there.” You pointed behind you to the piles of books, and Bucky chuckled at the way you were nervous around him. That was so fucking cute that he wanted to just scoop you up in his arms and make you blush again and again.
Almost ten minutes later, you showed up again with a few books in your hands that were from the fantasy section, and as much as you wanted to escape Bucky, you also wanted to finish your job. He just quickly looked at you, too interested in the book in his hands, but didn’t say anything.
You tried to reach the highest shelf to put the book in it’s place, but it was too far away. Usually you used a small ladder, but it was somewhere else now, and you just tried to do it standing on the tiptoes.
“Let me do it, princess.” Bucky chuckled, closing his book and putting it down, and reached out to help you.
“No!”
“You won’t reach it. Just give it to me.” He placed his hand on your back, stretching the other one.
“I can do it myself!”
You couldn’t. Because the next thing you know, the book slipped out of your hand when you tried to make more distance between you and Bucky, and you also lost control of the ones you held near your chest. Everything fell onto the floor with a loud ‘boom’ and you prayed that nothing got damaged.
Your head snapped back to say to Bucky that it was his fault, but he was already looking down at you, and you immediately forgot about everything. Only then did you realize that he was so close to you; his hand was holding your waist, and your back was almost pressed against his hard chest.
“Sorry.” He didn’t know what he was sorry for. That he distracted you and made you drop everything, or for what he did next. After his eyes quickly looked at your plump lips, his right hand fell onto your cheek, and he kissed you.
Your instant thought was to push him away, run, and hide in the storage room, but the firm hand on your face and waist made it impossible to move. Bucky almost devoured your mouth and completely controlled you, and you could barely keep up with the rhythm of the kiss.
He was good at it.
No one ever kissed you as if it were the best thing they'd ever tried, but Bucky just couldn’t stop. He spined your body, so you were not in that awkward and uncomfortable position anymore. Now that you were standing chest to chest, your back got pressed into the shelves, and Bucky was towering over you. It felt unknown but so right at the same time. Your experience in this area was really poor, but the adrenalin in your blood made you a little bit more sure of yourself.
“You’re doing something to me.” He breathed into the kiss, and you just whined without realizing it. He connected your lips again, tightening his hands on your waste and, that way, pulling you even closer. You had no idea where to put your hands, but your body seemed to work on autopilot, so they landed on his chest.
You felt something hard on the lower part of your belly, and the thought that Bucky had become hard solely because of the kiss nearly drove you insane. Hot, handsome, and charming men had never kissed you as if you were their last meal, teasing you with their bulge in the middle of your shop.
God, he must be big.
Your heart started beating so fast that you heard it in your ears. Was it the right thing to do? What should you do or say after that? Did he think that you kissed badly?
“I can almost hear the thoughts in your head. Why are you worrying? You don’t like or want it? Just say, and I’ll step away.” You licked your lips, as if you tried to taste him again. You felt how your face heated again from being so close to Bucky. He didn’t sound or look as if he were judging you, and it made you feel safe enough to tell what was going on in your head.
“I just—I'm not really familiar with it. I barely know you, and you just kissed me, and I am at a loss for what to do." You said, nervously playing with the material of his shirt. Bucky's hand cupped your cheek, making you look at him. It surprised you that he didn’t try to do anything to push you, like many other men who just think with their dicks. Your stomach tightened from the way he stared at your face.
"I understand and that’s okay if you feel a little bit scared. I’m not pushing you and you can say no to me. I really came here just to talk to you, but I cannot think of anything else but you. Can I kiss you, princess?” Your eyes closed when you felt his breath on your lips again. You couldn’t deny that you wanted it too, so you just slightly nodded to his question.
Bucky kissed you deeper and slower, allowing you to follow him. He stroked your cheek gently as his tongue slid into your mouth, causing you to moan. You swore that he smiled at your reaction, and it encouraged him to push his other hand from your waist to your thighs.
Your skin started tingling when you felt it going under your skirt. Tattooed fingers traced the soft lines on your legs until they reached your underwear. Only then did you realise that you were getting wet. This whole time, it was not just nerves; oh no, your body actually just craved that man in front of you and now you could do nothing to hide it. In your last attempt, you tried to push your legs together, but you made it worse when Bucky’s hand slipped higher and touched the wet spot.
“Holy fuck.” He growled, ending the kiss and looking down, where his hand stayed under your clothes. “You are not so innocent, huh?”
“Shy and innocent are two completely different things, Bucky.”
“Right.” Biting his lip, he looked up at you again with darkened eyes, and you felt his hand pressing onto your dressed core more firmly. “Can I taste you?"
Your eyes widen in shock. You were not a complete virgin, but unfortunately, you had never experienced that before. “My sexual life is actually really, and I mean really, meager, and no one ever asked me to do it.” You whispered, almost in embarrassment.
“So you’re telling me that no one asked to eat you out, princess? Well, that’s a shame. I bet your pussy is as sweet as you are.” He ran his nose across your cheek, enjoying your delicate skin and the light scent of your perfume, until he reached the sensitive part of your neck. “Your scent drives me crazy... You’re so sensitive, God. When was the last time you were with someone?” You tried to act normal and not shiever, but when Bucky’s finger was running up and down the soft cotton of your panties, it was nearly impossible to do.
“I don’t know. I did it just a few times, and I don’t date. Guys are not really interested in me.”
“Loosers.”
“Bucky.” You moaned his name when he suddenly fell to his knees. That view was so surreal for you. He seemed desperate to touch and taste you, to please you, even though he was painfully hard in his jeans. But he did not go too far because he was waiting for your response. “What if someone walks in?”
“There is a sign on the door. Are there many people who go to bookshops at that time?” Bucky took your left leg, slowly putting it on his shoulder. Your eyes followed every move with curiosity and a hint of worry when he turned his head to softly kiss your thigh.
“Okay.”
Bucky took your leg off his shoulder but only to slide his hands under your dress and take off your underwear. He did not break eye contact when he helped you step out of it and then put them in his jeans pocket. With a quick motion, your leg returned to it’s place near his face and you blushed, realising how close he was.
With his right hand on your thigh and the left one slowly creeping up your other leg, Bucky started leaving kisses higher and higher, until he finally reached your pulled-up dress. When his head suddenly lowered and you felt the first touch of his tongue, you almost died.
Up until that moment, you didn’t even realize how tense your body was, but that first lick sent a hot wave over you and you could not hold back a whine. You just became a fucking puddle under his touch.
Bucky was not much better than you. He gripped your thigh harder, as if he wanted you to be even closer, and moaned when your taste blossomed on his tongue. He knew that he was addicted now and that he could spend hours in between your legs. His tongue slipped across your folds, collecting your juice, and then circled around your sensitive clit.
“Fuck, princess. You’re s’ sweet.”
"Bucky—oh my god, please!” You didn’t know what you were begging for, but that tight knot in your stomach was becoming almost too painful, and you felt tears forming in your eyes. As if Bucky had already understood your body better, he put two fingers of his left hand at your entrance, slightly pushing in just the tips.
You moaned again, your hand moving on it’s own and grabbing Bucky’s hair in despair. He slowly slipped inside, letting you adjust while still not stopping the movements of his tongue. You felt so fucking tight and wet around his fingers and his cock painfully twiched in his jeans. He started pumping his fingers in and out of your pussy, and if you weren’t so far up in your head, you would’ve been embarrassed by the noises coming out of you.
The combination of his thick digits and tongue pushed you into your first orgasm. Your back arched, and your legs unconsciously tried to close, but Bucky did not let that happen, gripping your thigh tighter and holding you in place.
“Cum for me, pretty girl. C'mon, don’t be shy.” He encouraged you and that was everything you needed.
You had no idea what happened next because your body felt like it was floating and your head fell back with a moan of Bucky's name. He let you go through it, slowing his pace and pulling out his fingers. As much as he didn’t want to stop, he knew that it was enough for you for the first time.
You felt how Bucky jently lowered your leg and then, holding you by the waist, stood up and shamelessly licked his shiny lips. “I can’t believe you actually just did that. No one has ever given me an orgasm.”
“Princess… You’re unbelievable.” He got closer to you, nuzzling into your neck and breathing in your scent. You could feel hardness in his pants, and while Bucky did not try to push it any further, the desire within you made you bold.
“Do you have a condom?” Bucky immediately pulled away from you, his eyes darker than before and his hands tightening on your waist. You bit your lip and lowered your gaze, as if you said something wrong.
"No, no, no, you can’t get shy after you just asked me this. Eyes on me, princess. Do you really want it?"
“I do.”
Bucky connected your lips, distracting you from unnecessary thoughts, and you felt two hands on the back sides of your thighs. Your legs automatically wrapped around his waist, as if your body knew what to do better than you. You both moaned when his bulge met with your dripping core; Bucky’s grip tightened and he slightly moved your hips.
Firmly holding you in his hands, Bucky stepped away from the shelves and went to the table that was standing nearby. He blindly moved aside some books there, dropping a few on the floor and receiving a groan from you. He put you on the flat surface, not moving away from between your legs.
Your hands finally felt more confident to study his tattooed skin. You never realised that you were into people with tattoos, but now, looking at the variety of things covering his tanned skin, your belly tightened with anticipation. Your hands slowly reached his neck, slightly pulling him closer.
“You didn’t answer my question. Do you have it?” Instead of replying to you, Bucky, not breaking eye contact, reached into his pocket and pulled out a wallet. He opened it, taking the shiny square that was sticking out of there.
Your eyes shot up at him, meeting his half-hooded and full-of-lust eyes. Bucky looked right back at you, mesmerized by your beauty—by the way your cheeks heated and your lips were slightly swollen. He quickly unbuttoned his pants, sliding them with boxers down his legs, until his hard as rock cock was free with pre-cum leaking from the tip.
“If you’re going to look at me like that, then I might cum like a teenager before everything starts, princess.” Bucky growled, squeezing your thigh in his hand. You closed your eyes for a few seconds, then looked at his face again. You didn’t want to stare at his cock, but holy shit, it was better and bigger than everything you’ve seen before. You wondered what it would taste like, and that one thought made you clench around nothing.
With a quick, smooth motion, Bucky opened the package with his teeth, sliding the condom down his shaft. His hand moved you closer to the edge of the table, so now your faces were just a few centimeters away and you could feel his cock through the fabric of your dress.
“Be a good girl and hold it here for me.” Bucky folded your dress on your stomach, guiding your hand there, so he had better access to your sweet pussy. He had to see how he was disappearing inside of you with his own fucking eyes.
“Bucky…” You whined because of the way you were exposed to him, but you still did what he said. With wide eyes, you looked at how he moved even closer to you, slightly brushing your folds with the tip. Your free arm gripped his tattooed forearm, digging in your nails.
“So wet for me, so pretty... God, princess. I won’t be able to keep my hands from you. Say you want this. I need to hear it.” He palmed the side of your face, making you look up at him, and held himself at your entrance at the same time.
“I want it. Please.” You whispered, your eyes running back and forth between his pretty blues.
When he finally started slowly pushing into you, your mouth opened with a silent moan, and your eyes almost crossed with the way your whole body got covered with goosebumps. Bucky could not tear his eyes away from the place you two were connected. He felt every movement of your body and felt how your pussy almost sucked him inside.
He knew that you would feel good, but he did not realize that it would feel like the most correct thing in his life.
Bucky finally bottomed into you, stretching you the way you had never been before. You both thought that you could cum in that exact second, but you also both wanted to extend this moment as much as you could.
“Princess…” That sounded so desperate when Bucky finally started moving his hips, dragging his cock out and then pushing right back in. "Fuck, I need to kiss you. You feel like a fuckin’ heaven, holy shit.” Not stopping sliding into you at a steady pace, he dragged your face closer, as if his life were depending on it. Bucky greedily bit and sucked your bottom lip, swallowing every moan and whine you let out.
“Mh— I can’t— oh, Bucky!” You cried, trying to hide your face in the crook of his neck.
He pulled you back away from his body, holding you that way so he had a better view of your face and body. He felt the way your thighs tried to squeeze together, your face started to heat and you tried to look away.
“Don’t you dare become shy when I’m balls deep in you, princess.” He slowed his movements and teased you until you almost begged him to fuck you properly again. “You need to cum, huh? Show me those pretty eyes; don’t hide from me, c’mon.” You looked up, almost whining from the way he was looking at you. Pupils blown out, eyes slightly narrowed, and running around your face with interest and desire. “Do you need something? Speak up, sweet girl.”
“I want to cum. Let me, please.”
“Good fucking girl.”
Bucky started fucking you with a new forse; the table under you was squeaking with every move, making the whole scene even dirtier. You could not care about embarrassment anymore, moaning Bucky name and begging him to be harder.
You both felt how close you were.
Your hand, with your skirt in it, tightened around the fabric, your spread legs were trembling and you started uncontrollably squeezing Bucky’s cock inside of you. His dirty words made your vision foggy with satisfaction and the way he didn’t stop hitting your sweet spot was enough for you to go crazy with an overwhelming orgasm.
“Bucky! Bucky, oh my— fuuuck!” You cried in pleasure, feeling a few more thrusts of his throbbing cock, until he finally slowed down and emptied himself in the condom. Your body fell forward right into Bucky’s chest, too tired to even sit straight. He wrapped his hands around you, slowly stroking your back and kissing your temple.
“You are fucking amazing, princess.” He mumbled into your hair and you just hummed in response. After a few quiet minutes, when your head started to clear up and the whole weight of this situation fell on you, you finally pulled away, hiding your eyes from him again. “What? What’s wrong?”
“I just… I don’t know what we are supposed to do in this situation; I mean— it was just sex for you, right?” You asked, focusing on one particular tattoo on Bucky’s neck to not show how nervous you were.
Bucky didn’t answer for a few seconds, but you felt the weight of his eyes on you. Then he lifted your face with one of his hands and softly smiled at you. “If it meant nothing for me, I would’ve already been on my way home. I want you. I wanted you from the moment I saw you and I won’t be satisfied until you let me take you out. Are you free tomorrow evening, sweetheart?” He cooed, playfully tilting his head to the side. That man and his charm would be the death of you…
“Um, okay. I’m free, if you’re not kidding.”
“Not in the slightest. Now get dressed. I'm taking you home.” He pecked your lips before slowly pulling out of you and getting rid of the condom. You slowly jumped from the table, legs trembling from two mind-blowing orgasms, not missing how Bucky’s smirked at you.
“You don’t have to take me home, Bucky.” You fixed your dress and hair as much as you could without a mirror and then picked up the books from the floor that were forgotten during your makeout session.
“Well, I didn’t see a car near the shop, so I assume you’re walking home. And it’s dark.” He walked behind you, wrapping his hands around your waist and burying his face into your neck. “I don’t like this idea. I’m driving you home, princess.”
“Fine. You won.” You playfully made an annoyed voice to what Bucky just chuckled and held you even closer.

Natasha Romanoff rarely had the chance to see the same face twice. She saw a lot of people throughout her life — as a spy, as a superhero, or simply as Natasha. The thing is: it was unlike she would return to a place she’s been before. It wasn’t uncommon for her to be on the run. Thus, she traveled around the whole world, and saw thousands, millions of different faces. Destiny made sure not to let her cross paths with the same individual again. It wasn’t only the diversity of people that she witnessed, though. This woman saw the world. She knew life’s ups and downs, and at some point in her life, she just got used to the idea that it would forever be like this: boring. Boring experiences, boring women, boring men, boring relationships. Nothing was ever exciting, thrilling. It felt like she was advanced in time, and the rest of the world wasn’t following her. This wasn’t a complete lie, she got her maturity at a very young age, which made her pay the price now, in adulthood.
For a spy, the most important thing is to learn not to be caught off guard. But it seemed like life was never on Natasha’s side. And this time — it felt good. Oh, it felt so good.
At first, she didn’t want to get high hopes. It would be just another temporary friendship to help her pass time, nothing more. However, you managed to surprise the red haired Avenger in the best way possible. When she decided to spare a little time of her life and get to know you more, it was really mind-blowing the side of herself she discovered. She never thought she could actually be.. giddy. Like a silly, hopeless romantic girl. That is what she became whenever it was time to see you. She got excited. Actually excited. She couldn’t see through you, read your emotions or body language, like she did with other people; It was a natural thing, sometimes she didn’t even mean to do that. But you, something within you, kept her at bay. Like you effortlessly turned Natasha into a normal woman. Somebody who could love. Somebody that wasn’t raised and enhanced to be a killer. Not that you went through anything like she did, but you weren’t naive. You showed her that people didn’t necessarily have to be traumatized to be aware of things, of reality, of the surroundings. And for her, you’re the most beautiful person in the whole world. Inside and out. She adored you.
Opening up was never easy. Revealing the broken parts of herself wasn’t like having a simple chat. But patience is a virtue and thankfully, you followed that say just fine. Little by little, the secrets came out. Most of the parts you already knew — it’s not like she wasn’t a worldwide known superhero. What you mostly had to acknowledge were her feelings, the point of view of the little girl who was experiencing it all, and becoming a strong woman, with built up walls around her heart. Doing that was no problem. Natasha couldn’t be more thankful.
She couldn’t be more infatuated. More in love.
She’d always remember that one day: in the bar with her team, and you — chattery, music, tons of drinks and laughter. Stolen glances. Stomach butterflies, wild. The moment Clint pulled Laura a little closer to himself, and Tony kissed Pepper’s cheek. How she used that as an excuse to pull you into her lap. Your breath getting labored. Eyelashes gently fluttering, to the point she could count them. Your gentle yet tight grip on her shoulders. Your goddamn eyes staring right into hers. And the part where everything would change: her own bodily reactions to all those little details about you. When you restlessly shifted on her lap, quietly gasping when something poked you through your dress. Eyes going wide at the bulge showing on her black jeans.
From that point on, you belonged to her.
Or so, she thought.
The sex was great, but she was in conflict — she couldn't tell if the only reason for it to be that enjoyable was because you were both tipsy, almost drunk, or if it was really meant to be that way. It felt right, yes, to have you in her arms like this — naked, piles of discarded clothes laying by her bed.. the sound of your quiet snoring as you cuddled into her. It was also a relief to her. To have someone care for her, desire her, after so long, after forever. The night had been amazing. She was a mature woman anyway, wasn't she? She could sort her feelings out without messing up everything.
Wrong. By the morning, everything would change.
You stared at her as she got up and got dressed again, eyes still a little blurry from sleep, eyebrows ceasing into a small confused frown. "You're not staying?" you'd ask, sitting up and leaning against the headboard, bringing up the sheets to cover your unclothed body. "Ugh, my head hurts like hell,"
"Got things to do." she simply answered, cradling the side of your face and kissing your forehead. You could swear the look on her face was.. apologetic. She tilted her head towards the nightstand, where some aspirin and water waited for you. "Take these. I'll text you later."
"Okay.." you mumble, disoriented. As she leaves, you reach out, shoving the aspirin in your mouth and downing the pills with water. Was there something you were missing? Because all you could remember was how good her hands felt on you, the way they wrapped around you neck while she—
You shook your head, lying down again, and closing her eyes. All the fun and pleasure you had been given from the previous night was slowly vanishing and being replaced by a feeling of uncertainty and confusion. Natasha was an enigmatic person, okay, but you thought you knew her better. She had no reason to leave you just like that, especially when she had already vented about all her past experiences, flaws and failures. Nah, it was probably nothing, you were overthinking. Perhaps she indeed had something important to take care of. You closed your eyes as fatigue took over, and slept for a little bit more.
Natasha went back to her apartment — one of her apartments, and for the whole day, her thoughts ran like crazy. Her emotions were all over the place. She had just fucked her best friend, the one person she felt comfortable and at ease with. She considered her feelings carefully; this.. dinamic, between you two, had not been platonic for a considerable amount of time. But not being platonic doens't necessarily means being romantic. It could either be love, or lust. What happened the day before was carnal, once the two of you were way too much in a drunken haze to actually feel anything.
And, like always, Natasha didn't want to think about falling in love. She felt scared just by thinking about this. It was a new territory, one she wasn't willing to deep dive in. So she took her phone and deeply sighed, opening her chat with you.
"Yesterday was fun. But I need some time. I don't think this can work. Hope you're doing okay. xx"
That text just completely shattered you.
You had no idea what you did wrong. It was not like Natasha was pushing you away forever — but while being with her, the only thought running through your mind was: I wanna be with her. I wanna explore this with her. And Natasha didn't give a single sign that she thought the opposite. You felt... disappointed. With yourself and her. For hoping.
Yeah, getting involved with an ex kgb Avenger killer spy probably wasn't the best idea.
You wouldn't simply forget everything you shared together, so the easiest way here not to create a big tension was.. being fake. The two of you weren't stupid, you were aware of the unspoken feelings going on. But what happened that night should not happen again. So your friendship was what prevailed. A friendship like the start. But obviously, with a few changes. Natasha and you didn't lose touch — on the contrary, you were closer than ever. You spoke and flirted (a lot), but with one small rule, a rule that you subconsciously added to this.. situationship. No feelings involved. It would be singularly that. Friends, some casual hookups, and nothing else.
It didn't last, because that's not what you both wished, longed for.
Little by little, this turned boring again. Not that you were the boring one and she just didn't realize this before. Far from that. The thing was: Natasha and you were supressing your feelings, consequently, supressing all the thrill, the delicious tension that hanged in the air whenever she, once again, crossed paths with you. The russian wanted nothing more than just grab you and kiss you hard, pour all the emotions that she kept bottled up throughout her life into the kiss. But unfortunately, she couldn't. She had a duty to fullfil, as someone born, destined to save the world.
And with all of this, you and her settled a distance. You with your previous and trivial life, and her, saving little girls from bad guys, and bringing down cats from tall trees. It was truly shocking: one day, you lived for Natasha Romanoff. She was your everything and everything you'd ever want. In a blink of an eye, it ended. You followed your paths, like two completely different people, with different purposes.
Right person, wrong time.
Fool her, to think she could get over you that easily. Poor you, to try and put that inside of your head as well.
Sometimes, when normally doing daily tasks, you would catch yourself thinking about her — when you were going to watch TV and put your legs on the coffee table, instead of simply sitting. It was an habit of hers. Or when eating something with peanut butter. It was her favourite late night snack. When it rained. She liked to watch the rain. With somebody else's hands on you. It wasn't right. It was never right to have somebody else touch you. You were constantly thinking about your life before things with her changed — the memories brought comfort, a sense of nostalgia.. at some point, you weren't living in the present anymore. Just faking. Faking your feelings. Pretending it was okay to let her go.
This woman ruined you for everything and everyone else.
Natasha could relate to that. In a life that could be resumed in one word: a 'whirlwind' of a life, and you were her only 'constant' among all of this... she couldn't bear this anymore.
So she made an important decision.
The decision was today.
Today: she'd take you out again, praying that, if not reconciliation, she wanted at least to say everything she had to say. Because if life taught her one thing, was to make choices that she wouldn't regret in the future. And it was damn right she would regret choosing not to meet you tonight.
Sitting in the stool of the bar, in a more secluded corned, her eyes followed your figure as you approached — purse hanging on your shoulder, dress exposing your back and a little bit of your waist, eyes so awfully soft and gentle as you looked at her. It wasn't fair. A pang of guilt hit her hard. Oh, she regretted letting that go. She wanted you to be mad at her. But you were not. She shakily rises to her feet to kiss your cheek as you stand in front of her, thankfully not stumbling. Your eyes lock again, already in a trance. Just like that other day.
"How are you doing?" you ask. Natasha could cry. She missed that voice everyday. "Did I take too long? I'm sorry."
"No, no. Don't worry." she swallows hard. You both sit on the stools by the countertop. When the bartender comes, the redhead dismisses him. She wanted the two of you sober for this. "I'm... so much better now that you're here, honestly. How about you?"
"Amazing." you chuckle, tilting your head to the side and watching her. She didn't change a bit. Hair braided, black jeans, leather jacket. That was your Natasha. "I didn't expect you calling me here, to be honest..—"
"Me neither." she admits, in a whisper. Her tongue darts out to moisten her lips, eyes involuntarily starting at your mouth. She sighs and looks into your eyes. "But I had to... I can't get you off my mind."
Her sincerity never fails to amaze you. With each second that passes, the butterflies in your tummy return, to remind you of the past — feelings and sensations resurfacing. You bite on your bottom lip and look around the bar, quickly scanning to see if there was anybody paying attention to the two of you. Maybe a few eyes here and there, which didn't linger. Everyone else was too busy minding their own business — and it's not like you'd care if someone was staring anyway. Natasha turned some heads. You felt greedy for that. You were the one having her. The only one having her.
"You live in my head rent free, Natasha." you tell her, voice having a sultry edge to it. You slowly stand, walking closer.
You take her hands and open her arms — making it possible for you to straddle her thigh. She tenses almost immediately. Her head tilts up to stare into your eyes, arms circling your waist to keep you close, where she wanted. You shake your head when you see a small frown between her eyebrows — lips pressing against that small spot, coaxing a little exhale of hers. She missed you. Everyday. Every minute. She wanted that respect and care all the time.
"What are we even doing here?" she whispers, so quietly you almost can't hear it. Her hands cup your waist and gently roam up and down your sides, palms brushing against your bare skin every now and then, all thanks to the waist slits of your dress. Your face leans closer to hers, noses bumping — the smallest of touches, making you both crave what you once had. "Why didn't I just invite you to my place right away?"
"I don't know. Why didn't you?" you raise one eyebrow, fingertips caressing her jawline. Her hands give your waist a squeeze — and you almost moan. She swore she could hear it. It replayed in her head, the beautiful sounds you made for her. She wanted to hear them again. She was going to make you sound like that again.
It wasn't just a physical thing — your body and mind craved her touch, her presence, so much that just the mere thought of being on her bed again got you soaked. She felt something wet through the rough fabric of her jeans, and that got her brain spinning. She fell for you hard. So painfully hard.
"Let's get out of here," she groans, hands firmly grabbing your thighs and lifting you up — wrapping your legs around her waist and carrying you out the pavement. Her hardness pressed right against your core — you blushed, hiding your face on her shoulder, wrapping your arms around her neck.
In a heartbeat, you were back at your house.
Your place, because it was the fastest way, when taking the cab. No words were exchanged, not yet. The aching, burning need had to be taken care of first — before properly talking. Your back hits the wall hard as Natasha pushes you against it — her body trapping you between herself and the hard surface — hands hardly, possessively holding you by the hips. Desperately, even. Making sure you wouldn't slip away from her grasp. Her lips dance with yours, tentatively, yet naturally, tongues tasting one another after what felt like centuries. She felt so good, tasted so good.
"Nat..—" you moan against her lips, having her bottom lip trapped between your teeth, then releasing it. Your forehead against hers, eyes soft and filled with desire. Your hands hold her cheeks, traveling to her jaw. Needily, you press kisses to the side of her throat, breathing shaky, heart hardly thrumming. "I never stopped thinking about you..."
"Yeah?" she hums, grabbing the hem of your dress and lifting it up, bunching the fabric by your hips. Her fingers hook around the elastic of your panties and pull them down, pooling around your feet — making you gasp, and pull away from her neck. Eyes wide open. The air hits your heat, making you needier for her.
You almost mewl.
"God, I need you." Natasha utters. She grabs you again and smashes her lips against yours once more, now with so much more passion, more need, more anxiety. Her bulge presses against your now unclothed wetness, coaxing a tiny cry of need out of you. You breathlessly pull away from her, reaching down and fumbling with the buttons of her jeans — until she stops you.
"No—"
"Quiet." she shushes, maneuvering you back, until your body hits the mattress. She climbs onto the bed and stays in a kneeling position, hungrily taking you in. Messy, needy, all for her. Sober, like she wanted planned from the first time. "That dress goes off."
Her voice is commanding, yet not harsh — and her eyes betray her a little. Her eyes are almost pleading, that it is clear how much she needs this. To have you all to herself, to show you how much she wants that. Her underwear becomes even more tight as she sees your trembling fingers, pulling the dress over your head and tossing it aside, lips parted. Just by her look, you can tell she wants the bra off, too. So you reach behind your back and grants her silent wish, breasts now exposed to her sight.
"There you are..." she moans to herself, shamelessly taking in the sight of you. You're a work of art. With her hand, she coaxes your knees open, and parts your legs. "My... you're so wet. So perfectly wet."
"You're still with a lot on.." you quietly complain, feeling hot and shy at the same time. But her gaze is enough to wipe away the confusion from your eyes. She had a plan.
"Touch yourself for me." she breathes out.
Your eyes briefly widen with the unexpectedness of this statement. You had certainly done this before — touched yourself thinking of her — but the idea of showing this, while she watched, never crossed your mind. But it wasn't an unpleasant idea. It was actually... hot. Sensual. They darken, pupils blown wide as you make yourself comfortable against the pillows, eyelids fluttering as your legs spread a little more, palm resting on your stomach, then moving down. Deliberately, it reaches your sex, a shakily sigh leaving your lips when your middle and ring finger collect some of the slick coat covering your sensitiveness, using it to slowly rub your clitoris, getting you to gasp louder.
"Natasha..." you whisper, eyes falling close, thoughts wandering.
Wandering back to the start — when you first discovered your feelings for her, then the climax, when you both got in bed due the alcohol — then the aftermath, when you needed her so much, felt so alone at night, that your fingers were the only solution. Little wet sounds echo within the room as you rub circles on yourself, applying just the right amount of pressure, that it doesn't take long for the pit in your stomach to manifest itself.
"Faster." Natasha rasps out, taking her jacket and quickly throwing it away. She pulls her tank top over her head, then undo the buttons of her jeans — leaving the bed, just so she can get rid of all the uncomfortable fabric, and climbing it again. She crawls closer to you — eyeing you as you worked on your pussy, her hands caressing your thighs, adding to the stimulation.
"Please...!" you whimper, doing as you're told — rubbing yourself faster — slipping one of your fingers inside your entrance, almost cumming, that quickly. "Please, I need you..!"
"I need you too," she moans to herself, and harshly grabs your wrist, pulling your hand away. You moan loudly in protest — Natasha wouldn't tease you. Not today, when you both needed each other so much. She discards her undergarments, finally — groaning as she's set free. Your eyes lock on her hard length, which was practically hitting her abs now.
"Put it inside me." you beg, grabbing her shoulders to pull her closer. She hovers over you, bracing herself on her forearms, on each side of your body. Your fingernails gently graze her back. Natasha was feeling so much, so much more than she ever felt. Your eyes were sparkling so much, like you were crying — shimmering with the depth of your adoration for her. You grab her cheeks and press your lips to hers, in a gentle peck. Knowing her past, she didn't have to explain her reasons for what had happened. She was scared before, and you respected. "Go on. Love me."
She couldn't wait no longer. She lowers her forehead to your shoulder and places her hands on your hips — her chest against yours, as she lined herself with your hole, effortlessly pushing inside. Stretching you out, like she once did. Having the chance to hear that delicious sounds again.
"You're mine... shit," she groans, rolling into you gently, getting you used to the feeling first. You're so tight, so perfect around her. Natasha's overwhelmed. Her hands press against the base of your throat, squeezing firmly, yet leaving enough room for air. She's so hot. "That pussy is mine. You're mine. You're all mine—"
"Yes," you moan, wrapping your legs around her middle. You wouldn't take long to come tonight. Maybe she'd make you come over and over. She rocks into you, pace not too slow, not too fast. Just right. The right tempo to bring you both the pleasure and connection you so much needed. "Mhm.. fuck, Nat, missed your cock,"
"You're gonna take it over and over—" she comments — kissing your shoulder, roaming her hands up your body, her right palm cupping your breast and giving it a firm squeeze. Your head lolls back, mouth opening to allow a satisfied moan out. "I'm never fucking letting you go again,"
She accelerates, pulling almost all the way out just to slam back into you again — feeling her climax approach. She moves her mouth close to your ear and moans — her own sounds now mixing with yours.
"Natasha...! Fuck, you feel soo good," you gasp, a wave of pleasure washing over you as you get closer. She takes the hint immediately, cupping the back of your knee and pushing it up, allowing her a better angle. "Ah, gimme more,"
"My greedy girl," she groans, her head tilting back. Her cock twitches inside of you — precum already painting you white. She glanced down at where your folds swallowed her, eyes darkening impossibly more. "You're so goddamn tight... 'm not gonna last, moya krasivaya malysha,"
"Okay.. 'ts okay... Cum with me..." you beg her, tangling your fingers into her red strands of hair, pulling her down more, so her forehead rests against yours — the eye contact increasing the intimacy of the moment. She didn't know what to expect now. Didn't know what to think. Only that she had to fill you up.
"C'mon.. nhg, darling.. c'mon.. cum around me," she encourages, feeling her own legs shake as her orgasm washed over her.
She grabbed your hips hard and slammed into you — once, twice, three times, filling you up with her hot release. You squeezed your eyes shut as your body shuddered forwards, breasts pressing against her own as a long, strangled moan flowed out of you, nails digging into her back, pressing her body against yours as you finished. Your walls clenched around her cock, swallowing her more, not allowing her to pull away just that. "God.. I love you!"
Natasha blinks, not sure if she heard right. Her heart squeezes in her chest, arms wrapping around your body. Her back hits the bed and she flips you on top of her, still inside of you — but now, her member softened. The adrenaline was running wild, but you had calmed down a little bit. Just a little. Because this time, it wasn't pure sex. It was lovemaking.
Your face is buried in her chest as she brings up the covers, creating a cocoon of warmth around you. She buries her face into your hair and inhales deeply, staying silent. Just to process things.
"I love you, too. So so much." she murmurs into you hair. She felt terrified to say this. But once you're someone who she already showed her scars to, it's not that bad anymore.
"You do?" you ask expectantly, feeling tired, drowsy. Natasha smiles at that. She feels her eyes burning with heavy emotion. She nods.
"Yes... I love you so much." she confirms, softly stroking her hair, brushing some strands away from your sweaty forehead. "And I want you to be mine. Will you be mine?"
"You're asking me to be your girlfriend after the sex?" you chuckle quietly, but happiness was evident in your voice. Now you could sleep at peace. The first night of rest you'd have in a long time. In the arms of the woman you cherished, worshipped.
Natasha had won now. She was so fucking relieved. All because of a phrase.
"Of course I will, you idiot."
"I'm never, ever, ever letting you go again." the room is messy, smell of sex lingering around you. But now things were sorted out. By the morning, you could have a more direct, serious conversation. For now, you'd rest together, wrapped up in each other's arms, like it was always meant to be.

Tumblr media
you and anton had been best friends all throughout high school. it wasn’t rare for you to be seen together or to hang out at each others houses or in each others bed rooms. now you both are college students, often studying at eachothers dorms or in the library.
today wasn’t any different from any other time you guys studied together. you were laying on your tummy swinging your feet in the air, reading the material while on anton’s bed. anton sat at his desk doing the same. you guys had been chatting the whole time but finally decided to lock in and focus on the homework. silence filled the room as you both studied your textbooks. after what felt like an eternity anton finally broke the silence.
“alright!” he clapped “that’s enough studying for me, im going to hop in the shower” he smiled to you and you gave him a thumbs up. you scrolled on your phone until you finally heard the bathroom door open. you look up from you phone to see anton in nothing but sweatpants, towel drying his hair as he came out the door. you had seen anton shirtless plenty of times but something about this time was different.
you let your eyes trail over his strong defined pecs, down his abs, and straight to the prominent v line on his hips. you gulped not sure what this feeling was bubbling inside you all of the sudden. a blush spread across your cheeks as your eyes trailed up to see anton already looking at you. “like what you see?” he teased. all you could do was hide your face in your hands. he cocked his head to the side and made his way over towards you.
“what’s got you flustered y/n?” he asks genuinely concerned as he sits next to you on the bed. you shuffle around until you’re also sitting and start to fiddle with your hands with your head down. there was a heat coursing through your tummy and you had no idea what was causing it. “do you have a fever? you look flushed” he reaches his hand out to feel your forehead and your cheeks burn even brighter if that’s even possible. you completely still focused on the way his large hand is touching your forehead. “i-im not feeling great toni” you tell him truthfully.
“what’s wrong? did something happen while i was in the shower?” concern is written all over his face as he scans yours for any signs of illness. “i feel weird” you say plainly, bringing your head up to look him in the eyes. “what do you mean y/n, where do you feel weird?” he furrows his eyebrows. your bottom lip is tucked between your teeth as you contemplate what to do. you finally decide to grab his hand, and guide him to your lower stomach. “it feels weird here toni… a-and even lower too” you hang your head in shame, your hand still holding his to your tummy.
anton is dazed, wondering if you mean what he thinks you mean. he gulps nervously, “what feels weird about it little one?” your head snaps up at the nick name, heat rising once again to your cheeks, as butterflies fill your tummy (and other places). “i-it’s warm… i feel really warm” you say hesitantly. he smiles at you softly before asking “do you want me to help you not feel weird anymore y/n?” you stare at him dumbfounded about what he could possibly do to make you feel better, but nonetheless you give him a slight nod.
he holds both your hands in his and guides you to stand up. he’s sitting on the edge of the bed, feet planted on the floor, and he moves you in between his legs. “do you trust me y/n?” he looks you in the eyes searching for any sign of hesitation. you nod. “i need to hear your words, sweetheart” he says sternly not breaking eye contact. “y-yes toni i trust you” you give him a slight smile before he reaches his hands around your waist and keeps them there for a moment. the feeling of his fingers against the fabric of your clothing sending goosebumps straight to your skin.
his hands trail down the back of your thighs and up your skirt. hands now on your hips, toying with the elastic of your underwear. “can i take these off love?” he asks you with bright eyes. “y-yes you can” you nod as your fists ball up next to your sides. he begins to slide your underwear down your legs until you are able to step out of them. you look down shyly as you notice the damp spot that was left on your underwear. anton chuckles slightly before gently grabbing your chin and bringing your face to meet his.
“can i kiss you?” he asks hesitantly, you nod, nerves flowing through your body. he pulls you in for a chaste kiss. lightly pressing his lips to yours to see how you react. he pulls back, lingering there for a moment before looking you in the eye again. he pulls you closer to him, before guiding you to straddle one of his thighs. he brings your arms around his neck and lightly pushes your bottom half down on the fabric of his sweatpants. you gasp at the sudden contact, heat rushing to your face as you look at anton with wide eyes. he only chuckles at you, admiring how cute you are.
he presses you down further, to where you can feel like muscles of his thigh flexing underneath your core. your breath hitches in your throat. he pushes a hair behind your ear lovingly. “are you ready?” he asks, still scanning your face for any sign of hesitancy. you nod slowly, lip tucked between your teeth. “hold on to me, and if at any point you want to stop just tell me.” you nod compliantly and wrap your arms tighter around his neck. he begins to bounce his leg, the friction sending shockwaves through your body as you let out a moan. it becomes all too much all too fast and before you know it you’re a moaning mess, burying your face into his neck as he holds you close. “that’s it baby, you’re doing so well for me” he coos. you whimper at his words.
his leg begins to bounce faster, and you can feel yourself falling apart. “a-anton i f-feel really weird” you choke out. “i know baby i know” he strokes the back of your head as your resolve grows thin. you’re a panting mess, trembling as the pleasure overwhelms you. before you know it you’re seeing stars. your whole body begins to shake and a string of moans are coming out of your mouth. anton’s movements slow down, helping you through your orgasm. his movements come to a halt once you’ve stopped shaking, and you try to catch your breath.
anton guides your bottom half to now straddle his whole lap, and he hugs you close. your hands fall from his neck to around his shoulders, and you lean your head into his chest. he strokes the back of your head comfortingly as you come down from your high.
“i feel sleepy” you say, eyelids suddenly feeling heavy. anton chuckles and tucks some hair behind your ear. “i bet, you were so good for me y/n. let’s take a nap yeah?” he asks. you don’t say anything but he feels you nod tiredly. he shifts yall so you are laying down, his arms around you protectively as small snores begin to erupt from your mouth. anton smiles to himself, before also drifting off into sleep.

Even if he doesn’t always have the same level of knowledge, he’s deeply engaged and loves hearing your perspective. He often jokes about how you should have your own Marvel theory YouTube channel.
── When a new Marvel movie is about to be released, Chris makes it an event. He’ll buy tickets for the earliest showing possible and might even suggest wearing matching Marvel-themed outfits. On the day of the release, he’ll clear his schedule and refuse to film any new video, knowing how much it means to you to be among the first to experience the film. Your excitement is contagious, and he finds himself getting just as pumped up as you.
── Your place is filled with Marvel collectibles; action figures, posters, Funko Pops, and more. Chris always finds a way to add to your collection, whether it’s a rare figure he stumbled upon or a custom-made piece featuring your favorite characters. Sometimes, he even helps you rearrange your display shelves to make room for new additions, joking about how you might need an extra room soon. When it comes to the limit of not having any more free space on your house, he brings the new ones he bought to his own house and puts it on his room.
── If you’re into cosplay, Chris is your biggest fan and supporter. He’ll help you gather materials, give you feedback on your designs, and even assist with makeup and costume details. When you’re at a convention, he’s right by your side, taking pictures of you in character and proudly posting them on social media with captions like, "Look at my superhero!". He’s also the type to hype you up in front of others, making sure everyone knows how much effort and passion you put into your cosplay.
── Watching Marvel movies together is a regular activity in your relationship. Even if you’ve both seen them countless times, it never gets old. Chris loves seeing how you react to your favorite scenes, and he always smiles when you recite lines word for word. He’s learned which moments in the movies are your favorites, and sometimes he’ll nudge you playfully just before they happen, sharing a knowing look.
── When you’re out shopping together and you spot Marvel merch, Chris encourages you to indulge. Whether it’s a new t-shirt, a limited-edition figure, or even Marvel-themed kitchenware, he’s always happy to see you so excited. He’ll often sneak items into the cart when you’re not looking, only to surprise you when you get home.
── Because of his fame and how media knows Chris has an obsessed Marvel girlfriend, he often receives invites for you both to attend Marvel movie premieres together. In there, Chris loves watching you take it all in; the energy of the crowd, the excitement in the air, and your wide-eyed awe at seeing your favorite characters on the big screen. He’s always by your side, holding your hand, and whispering little comments in your ear during the movie, making the experience even more special.
── Whenever there’s Marvel news - whether it’s a new movie announcement, a casting update, or a trailer drop - Chris is the first to send it your way. He loves seeing your reaction, especially when you get excited about something new. Sometimes, he’ll wait until you’re together to show you, just so he can see your face light up in person.
── Chris fully supports your Marvel obsession and never makes you feel like it’s silly or too much. He loves that you’re so passionate about something and appreciates how it brings out your playful and enthusiastic side. Sometimes, when you’re having a tough day, he’ll put on your favorite Marvel movie or bring you a new comic to cheer you up, knowing it’s an instant mood booster.

CHAPTER 1
Tumblr media
waking up in your jamie’s arms made you wish you were still asleep. sure, you had cuddled before on movie nights when you had to share a blanket, but this was different. this meant he had chosen to stay, of his own volition. fate didn’t need to step in for him to cuddle you. or maybe you were reading far too much into it.
regardless, you relished in this rare moment of closeness you had with bucky. his arm was securely around your waist as your head remained on his chest. you let your chin rest on his chest in favor of looking at the face that was now free of his perpetual frown lines. you let your hands move the stray pieces of his hair from his face before he began stirring. his arm gently tightened around you before his left came to hold you as well, leaving you softly laughing at his cuddly tendencies.
“mornin’, doll,” his raspy voice scratched all the right parts of your heart. “sleep well?”
“slept like a baby,” you replied as you plopped your head back down on his chest, the rise and fall of his chest nealy lulling you back to sleep.
“so…” he trailed off. “do you…”
“i remember, jamie,” you were squeamish. he obviously kindly rejected your offer in an attempt to let you keep your dignity, but you couldn’t lie to him. “i-i’m sorry for all that. i never wanted to make you uncomfortable, and clearly, i did.”
“you didn’t make me uncomfortable,” he assured you as you quickly got out of your bed. “y/n,” he called after you as you threw a sweater over your tank top from last night. he stood to meet you, tenderly holding your shoulders so you would get still. “you didn’t make me uncomfortable. the only thing that made me uncomfortable was the fact that you were drunk when you asked me, doll,” now it was him who played with the strands of your hair that were still wild from sleeping.
“so, if i were to ask you that now, with a sound and sober mind… what would you say?” you avoided eye contact, opting to play with the frayed ends of your sweater.
“that depends,” he nudged your chin with a curled finger. “i’m gonna need you to ask me first,” he teased.
you rolled your eyes, “there’s a reason they call it ‘liquid courage’, jamie. sadly, i haven’t had any today.”
“you already know what i’ll say,” he shrugged casually, as if it weren’t practically humiliating what you were asking of him. the depth of desperation you had reached to ask your best friend who you’d loved for so long to do you this ‘favor’. “you know i’d do anything for you.”
“i want you to want me,” now you couldn’t stop looking in his eyes, captivated by the pretty blues you’ve always loved.
he chuckled, “don’t you know i always have?”
looking into his eyes, you wanted to believe his sweet, serene words that were dripping from his lips like honey. god, how you wanted a taste of the sickly sweetness that oozed from his presence near you. the attraction that pulled you towards him like he was stronger than any magnet tony had created was somehow amplified any time he looked at you the way he was. you only hoped the attraction wasn’t one sided. sure, he was telling you he’s always wanted you, but that doesn’t mean he wanted you romantically. maybe he just meant he wanted your body. either way, you would have him any way you could.
“say it,” he urged you.
“will you be my first, jamie?” you swallowed and looked away from him, somehow still afraid of his answer.
“only if i can be your only, too,” he grasped your waist, pulling you against his chest.
finally, you broke your eye contact with the floor in favor of his bright blues as he leaned in to press a searing kiss against your lips. in spite of the anticipation of what you had just asked asked him, the kiss was incredibly tender and unrushed.
your tongues danced in sync as if you had done this a million times before. his hands squeezed your waist more as you gently sucked his bottom lip into your mouth.
“you’re pretty good at this,” you giggled as you grabbed onto his forearms.
“we haven’t even done anything, yet,” your eyes went wide at the insinutaiton.
“are we-did you want to… now?”
“no, of course not,” his thumbs began rubbing on your waist over your sweatshirt. “i’m gonna make your first time special, like you deserve. if you want, there are other things we can do now. again, only if you want to.”
“well-uh-what were you thinking about?” your arms rose to his neck, thrown over his shoulders as his grip tightened on your waist.
he lifted you by the waist, signalling for your legs to wrap around his own so he could usher you back to the bed. he gently laid you down, hovering over you before pressing a searing kiss to your cheek, just as gentle as when he laid you down.
“i’m gonna eat your pretty little pussy, doll,” he gingerly kissed down your torso, making the long trail to your center.
“you don’t have to if… if y’know, it makes you uncomfortable? i know guys aren’t really into that sometimes,” you rose to your elbows, observing him as he spread your legs further to make room for him. the way his eyes were fixated on you was as if you were the only woman he’d ever seen.
“uncomfortable?” he scoffed at the thought. “the only thing that’s making me uncomfortable right now is how many clothes we still have on.”
“that can easily be fixed,” you swiftly tore your shirt from your body, revealing yourself to him. his eyes were immediately drawn to your bare chest.
“fuck,” he breathed. “‘s like you’re trying to kill me, doll.” keeping his place between your legs, his arms trailed up your torso to massage your tits. “so fucking gorgeous.”
you placed your hands on his wrists, encouraging him to continue. “jamie…” you sighed as your head was thrown back.
“has anyone ever touched you down here, doll?”
you shook your head
“only me?”
“only you,” you swear his eyes darkened by four shades, swallowing his pretty blues into the abyss of his lust.
he moved from his place between your legs to help you remove your shorts and underwear in one swift motion, quickly getting right back to business as soon as he was able to. once he was settled back between your plush thighs, you felt his hands gripping them tightly.
“such a pretty pussy you’ve got here, baby,” his face was so close to your center you could feel his breath against your skin with every word he said. “can’t believe you’ve kept it from me for so long.” he littered your thighs with kiss after kiss, each time getting closer to your center.
“please, jamie?” your hands made their way to his hair, gently grasping his hair and tugging to emphasize your need to him.
“please what, doll?” he mocked coyly.
“you know what,” your hips began to rise from the bed, searching for some relief.
“nuh uh,” he moved his head further from where he was, “i wanna hear you say it for me.”
“i-can you-i want you to eat me out please?” you rushed out and squeezed your eyes shut, not being able to see bucky as he finally connected his lips with your center. “o-oh my GOD!” his tongue traced your clit lightly, barely giving you much stimulation but even that was enough to make your legs begin to quivver.
while his tongue tracing your clit felt absolutely amazing, nothing prepared you for feeling his tongue tracing along your soaking slit before delicately prodding inside of you.
“holy shit, jamie,” his tongue trailed back to your clit before you felt his finger slowly enter your pussy. your grip in his hair tightened, pulling him even closer to your center.
he was so passionate about pleasing you, humming into your skin as he felt you tighten around his finger the deeper he went.
he made sure to wait for you to relax, welcoming the pleasure rather than being surprised by it, before beginning to slowly thrust the single digit in and out of your center.
you tossed your head back against the pillows at the feeling of his long fingers reaching parts of you that you could never reach yourself.
“fuck!” his finger found the perfect spot inside of you, curling to massage it gently and bring you closer to the edge. you could hear the squelching of your pussy in rhythm with his thrusts in and out of you, and somehow you had no idea that you could be so wet and messy.
you felt him moan against you even more as he brought his metal hand up your torso and begin to squeeze your tits, pinching and pulling your nipple before switching to the neglected breast, simultaniously adding a second finger inside of you.
he wanted to thank whatever gods existed for allowing him to be in between the safe haven of your thighs in this very moment. the soft plushness of your thighs that cradled his head as your fingers continued to tighten around his locks with every move his tongue made against your clit proved that heaven was real.
it took everything in him to stop jumping the bed like a horny teenage boy, because he knew he would’ve blown a load with how pretty your moans sounded, in spite of your thighs encasing his ears.
“ja-jamie,” you cried to him. “i’m so-so close, please don’t stop! please don’t stop!” you back began to arch off the bed as his ministrations continued, his fingers pounding into your pussy as his lips continued to suck eagerly at your clit. “oh my FUCK, JAMES, YES!” you cried as your hips continued to grind into his face, riding out your orgasm as he refused to cease his actions on your body until you couldn’t take any more and were pulling him away.
he pressed feather-light kissed up your torso, paying special attention to your neck before he met his lips with yours once more. you sighed into his mouth as your arms were lazily thrown over his shoulders, pulling him even closer to you.
“that was amazing, jamie,” you heaved as he rested his forehead against yours. “i had no idea i could… y’know, that hard! it was intense…”
“i just ate you out and you still don’t want to say the words?” you shook your head rapidly as you tucked your face into his neck. “you came, y/n. you can say it out loud.” you felt his smile against your skin. “now i can officially say that you’re the sweetest thing ever.”
“jamie!” you shoved his shoulder lazily.
“you’re so cute when you get all flustered,” he brushed some of your hair from your face to watch you biting back your smile. “let me take you out? on a real date. i wanna give you what all the other nimrods ‘ve been to dumb to do themselves. wanna show you what you deserve to be treated like. will you let me show ya, doll?”
“you really wanna take me out?” you furrowed your brows. “i don’t mean that in like the killing way… not that you’d do that! i know that you’d never hurt me, i just phrased it weird and then i kinda got- y’know what? i’m gonna shut myself up this time before i get too stupid to even say the word ‘yes’. so, yes, i would love to go out with you, jamie.” you looked past bucky to avoid the further embarrassment from your incessant rambling.
he chuckled at your embarrassment in spite of being the most intimate you had ever been with anyone with him, you still got tongue tied when he asked you on a date. adorable, he thought as he got up, rushing to the bathroom to grab a washcloth, getting it damp before returning and wiping the mess from between your thighs.
"thank you," you closed your thighs as he sat beside you in bed once more. he lifted your arms so he could push his long forgotten shirt over your head to cover you up.
"any time," he pressed a kiss to your forehead. "how does next friday sound for you, doll?"

Hi! Can I request a mommy Wanda x fem reader where they’re at an amusement park and after awhile R gets overstimulated because the sun is sunning and there’s no clouds so she’s really hot and she’s also hungry and thirsty and her legs hurt but she doesn’t tell Wanda any of this because she gets really quiet/almost non-verbal when she’s overstimulated but Wanda is able to figure it out anyway? Much comfort and love 🤭💕
Mommy!Wanda Maximoff x autistic!fem!reader
Summary: It's time for a trip to the amusement park, but everything is overstimulating you.
Word Count: 1K
Warnings: Age gap relationship (W=34 R=23), Dom/sub dynamics(vague), comfort fic
Authors notes: I'm actually not a huge amusement park person (I don't like rides) so I hope this is good!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The sun blazed overhead as the bustling sounds of the amusement park surrounded you. The Avengers had planned this day off, a rare chance to relax and enjoy some fun together. It had started off great, with everyone in high spirits. Wanda had been especially excited, dragging you from ride to ride with a contagious enthusiasm.
But now, hours into the day, you felt the oppressive heat bearing down on you. Sweat trickled down your back, your mouth dry and throat parched. Your legs ached from the constant walking, and the cacophony of sounds—the shrieks of joy, the clanking of rides, the chatter of the crowd—felt like they were closing in on you.
You tried to keep a brave face, not wanting to ruin anyone's day. The others, including Wanda, seemed to be having such a great time. You didn't want to be the one to bring that to a halt. So, you stayed quiet, your usual chatter reduced to nearly nothing. You could feel yourself retreating into your shell, the overstimulation pushing you to the edge of being non-verbal.
Wanda, however, was incredibly perceptive. She had been keeping an eye on you throughout the day, and it didn’t take long for her to notice the subtle changes in your behavior. The way you trailed behind a bit more, the lack of response to her excited chatter, the small frown lines that had appeared on your forehead.
"Hey," she said gently, pulling you aside as the group decided on their next ride. She cupped your face with her hands, her touch cool against your flushed skin. "Are you okay?"
You forced a smile and nodded, but you could see the concern in her eyes. She wasn't buying it.
"Sweetheart," she said softly, "you don't have to hide how you're feeling. I can see you're struggling."
Your resolve crumbled a bit at her words, your eyes filling with tears. "I didn't want to ruin everyone's day," you admitted, your voice barely above a whisper.
Wanda's expression softened even more, and she pulled you into a hug. "You could never ruin our day. If you're not okay, then we're not okay. Let's take care of you."
She led you to a shaded area, where you could sit down and take a break. The rest of the Avengers noticed and quickly joined, their concern evident.
"Hey, what's going on?" Natasha asked, crouching down beside you.
"Wanda thinks I need a break," you said quietly.
"Smart move," Tony agreed, handing you a cold bottle of water. "It's brutally hot out here."
As you sipped the water, feeling it cool your parched throat, Wanda sat next to you, her arm around your shoulders. "We're going to find some food and take it easy for a bit, okay?" she said.
You nodded, feeling a wave of relief wash over you. The team's understanding and support made the heavy weight of overstimulation a little easier to bear. Wanda kissed your forehead, her touch grounding you in a way that nothing else could.
"Thank you," you murmured, leaning into her.
"Always," Wanda replied. "Your well-being is what's most important. We're here for you, no matter what."
With that, the Avengers rallied to make sure you were comfortable, taking the rest of the day at a slower pace, making sure you were hydrated, fed, and rested. The love and care they showed you made you realize that you were never a burden, and that taking care of yourself was just as important as having fun.
The day continued at a much more relaxed pace. Wanda stayed by your side, her arm wrapped around your waist as you both wandered through the amusement park. You had insisted that the rest of the team continue enjoying their day, reassuring them that you were in good hands with Wanda. They reluctantly agreed, but not without checking in on you periodically.
Wanda, being your girlfriend, never minded taking care of you. To her, you were her precious little girl, and she took great joy in making sure you were happy and comfortable. She suggested you both try the carnival games, and you eagerly agreed. You played game after game, laughing and cheering each other on.
You managed to win a few adorable squishmallows, each representing your favorite Avengers. You secured one of Wanda, Natasha, Cap, and Peter. Each time you won, Wanda's eyes would light up with pride, and she'd kiss your cheek, making your heart flutter with warmth.
As the sun began to set, the amusement park transformed. The rides and stalls were lit up with twinkling lights, casting a magical glow over everything. You and Wanda decided to take a leisurely stroll, enjoying the cool evening air. The day's heat was finally dissipating, and the breeze felt refreshing against your skin.
You started to feel the exhaustion creeping in, your steps becoming slower and more unsteady. Wanda noticed immediately and didn't hesitate to scoop you up into her arms. You wrapped your arms around her neck, your head resting on her shoulder.
"Looks like someone is ready to call it a night," she teased gently, her voice soothing.
"Mhm," you mumbled, already feeling your eyelids drooping.
Wanda carried you toward the parking lot, her gentle rocking motion lulling you further into a sleepy haze. The day had taken all your energy, but it was worth it. Spending time with Wanda, winning those silly squishmallows, and seeing the amusement park lit up at night—it had all been worth it.
As she walked, Wanda spoke softly to you, her voice a comforting melody. "You did great today, sweetheart. I'm so proud of you for pushing through. I hope you had fun."
"I did," you whispered, nuzzling closer to her. "Thank you for taking care of me."
"Always," she replied, kissing your forehead. "I love you."
"I love you too," you managed to say before drifting off completely.
By the time you reached the car, you were fast asleep in Wanda's arms. She gently placed you in the passenger seat, buckling you in securely. The rest of the team soon joined, and everyone exchanged quiet, tired smiles as they settled in for the drive home.
As Wanda drove, she kept one hand on the wheel and the other holding yours, your fingers intertwined. The squishmallows you had won sat in the backseat, a reminder of the fun and love that had filled the day. You might have used all your spoons, but with Wanda by your side, it had been more than worth it.

Rescue by Lauren Daigle
Tumblr media
Summary: Natasha doesn’t have a lot of regrets, everything she’s done in her life has gotten her to where she is now. An Avenger, a hero to young girls, and trying to remove some red from her ledger. But the one thing she does regret is giving you up. But when a word gets out that you are in trouble, she will come to rescue you.
Pairings: Natasha x Maria, Natasha x Maria x daughter!reader, past Natasha x Bucky
Warning: gun shot violence, implied rape, death, cannon typical violence, gambling, the reader needs a hug but so does Natasha
Word count: 7.1 k
“Mail call,” Wanda said, walking into the common area with a few pieces of mail in her hand.
“Who the hell gets paper mail?” Tony asked, pouring coffee into his mug.
“Some of us like to do things without technology,” Steve said as Wanda handed him the newspaper. Tony looked at the super soldier with disbelief. It was rare that the Avengers got mail but each one had specific memberships. Vision received a copy of the newest National Geographic and Pietro got Sports Illustrated. Sometimes Sam received a letter from his service buddies and Steve always got the newspaper, he did take the comics out for Peter. As Wanda handed out the mail, Natasha waited with bated breath to see if she received a letter. It was rare but she was excited nonetheless. The Sokovian smiled at the Black Widow and handed her a letter. It was addressed the same way, her name and her current address with no return.
“Thank you,” the Black Widow said, leaving her unfinished lunch on the table and heading for her room. She barely heard Tony question her odd behavior but she didn’t care. When she was safe behind her bedroom door, she opened the envelope. There was a single picture of a young girl with fiery red hair standing at a picnic table. A birthday cake was lit and presents stayed unwrapped around you. Natasha smiled, moving her finger across your face. Her daughter, whom she only got to hold once on the day she was born. When she defected to SHIELD, she gave up for you to live a normal and safe life. But she was promised that you would go to a good family and on birthdays Natasha would receive a photo. The most important thing was if there was any sign of trouble she would be called in.
“It’s about that time of year,” Maria appeared at her door. “Did you get a photo?” Natasha nodded as her girlfriend sat down next to her. Not counting the agent, four other people knew of your existence. Maria was one of them but not even the Deputy Direction knew of your true location to keep you safe. The agent gently took the picture and smiled.
“She’s spoiled rotten,” Maria teased. The Black Widow chuckled, letting her head fall onto Maria’s shoulder. It was times like this that Natasha questioned if she made the right choice. She wished she could be there for birthdays and every school accomplishment. Maria kissed her head. “I know, baby, I know.”
*
“Miss. Romanoff,” FRIDAY said. Natasha stopped her assault on the sandbag. “Your presence is being requested in the conference room.”
“Do I have time to shower?”
“No, Director Fury said it’s urgent,” it was never a good sign when Fury was involved. She quickly grabbed her water off the floor and headed for the conference room. When she entered, Fury and Maria were standing by a screen and her sister and Clint were sitting at the table. Oh, she did not have a good feeling about this.
“What’s going on?” She asked, not bothering to sit down.
“Does the Winter Soldier mean anything to you?” Of course, it did. He was one of her trainers in the Red Room but also the father of her daughter. In hindsight it was the perfect companionship; one of the Red Room’s best assassins and HYDRA’s most feared weapon. Their child would be the ultimate fighter but they didn’t need to know that.
“Yeah,” Natasha said, crossing her arms. “He’s credited for over two dozen assassinations in the last 50 years.”
“So, he’s a ghost story?” Clint questioned. She shook her head.
“I was escorting a nuclear engineer out of Iran, somebody shot at my tires near Odessa. We lost control, went straight over a cliff,” she said, remembering every part of that day. “I pulled us out, but the Winter Soldier was there. I covered my engineer, so he shot him straight through me,” it was heartbreaking as she stared into the eyes of a man she once knew but there was no recognition in his eyes. She lifted her shirt, revealing a bullet wound on her stomach. “A Soviet slug, no rifling. Bye-bye bikinis.”
“Yeah, I bet you look terrible in them now,” Maria sarcastically said. Natasha smirked.
“Ew,” Yelena said. “He was also a trainer in the Red Room. Before my time but the guards would talk.”
“Why are we here, Fury?” Clint asked. Natasha was wondering the same thing.
“We picked up chatter that was concerning,” he nodded to Maria, who pulled up a recording and played it. The audio was all static and it was hard to hear but Natasha could make out two distinct voices and they said your name and the Winter Soldier.
“Send me there now,” she said. The audio was still playing and Maria quickly stopped it.
“Nat..”
“Don’t ‘Na’t me,” Natasha cut her girlfriend off. “When I gave her up I asked for two things; a picture once or twice a year and to be notified if she’s in danger. In return, I’d never reach out to her.”
“We need you here to run point and we are going to send Belova and Barton to look after her,” Fury instructed.
“Like hell, you are,” Natasha was slowly losing her composure. “She’s my daughter.”
“You don’t have any claim to her,” Natasha’s jaw clenched. Fury sighed. “Can I please speak with Romanoff alone?” Each one of her closest acquaintances left the room and tried to reassure her in their way but she ignored everyone. Her eyes never left the man. When the door closed, Fury sighed again.
“Natasha..”
“Don’t Nick,” she said, walking over to the man. “Don’t say another word because I’m very close to throwing you through a wall,” Fury smirked.
“I’m trying to look after you,” he said. “Your name was mentioned. It could be a trap.”
“I don’t care,” she said. “She’s my daughter even if you don’t think she is,” she saw the smallest clench of his jaw. “I hear her SOS. I will never stop marching toward her. So I’m going. You can’t stop me.” He thought about it.
“Fine,” he relented. “But Maria is coming with you as your backup.”
“Clint will run point and I want Yelena on standby if we need it.” He nodded.
“What do we tell the team?” She wasn’t sure. For the longest time, she’s kept your existence a secret to ensure your safety. But now it may have been all for tonight. No, she couldn’t think like that. You were going to be fine.
“The truth,” she said. “It’s time they know.”
*
“Hurry up,” your best friend called out. You giggled, running over to her. She climbed up to do the monkey bars.
“You got this Sarah,” you cheered as her arms began to shake when she reached halfway. She fell to the ground unable to go the entire way. “Nice try,” you smiled, beginning your turn. You liked the challenge of the monkey bars, the burn of your arms and hands. Unlike Sarah, you didn’t feel your arms shake and you made it all the way across. Sarah rolled her eyes.
“No fair,” she pouted. “How are you so strong?” You shrugged. It was a mystery to you and something you attributed to your biological parents. In PE class, you learned to hold yourself back even though you could beat all the kids in your class. No one wanted to be friends with the abnormally strong girl.
“I don’t know,” you said.
“Come push me on the swings,” Well besides Sarah, she didn’t care that you were stronger than her and she used it to her advantage. You smiled, running after her. She jumped onto the empty swing and you began to push her. It wasn’t long before your mind began to wander as you looked around the park. There was a small party at the pavilion and a small-sided soccer game. A few black vans were parked on the far side. You found your parents sitting at a bench speaking with a man you knew well. Agent Cruise. He was present at every birthday party and family gathering. According to your mom, he was the one that found you when your birth mother abandoned you. Why was he here?
“I’ll be right back,” you told Sarah and walked over to the trio. Agent Cruise saw you right away, a smile on his face.
“Hi firecracker,” he held out his fist and you pumped it three times then gave him a side hug.
“What are you doing here?” You asked him.
“I was in the area and I thought I’d say hi to the family.” That was a lie but you didn’t question it. If he was lying for a reason, it had to be a good one.
“Everything is fine, sweetheart,” your mom said. “Go back and play with Sarah.”
“Okay, love you guys,” you turned around to go back to the playground but a gunshot froze you in your spot. It was a sound you heard on TV and in movies and never expected to hear it in real life. A body crashed into yours pushing you into the ground as another shot went off.
“W-Will,” you stuttered.
“Eyes on me, okay?” You nodded, staring into his brown eyes. “My car isn’t far. I need you to run and I’ll cover you.”
“What about -” Your eyes found your parents, slumped against each other and blood pouring from a single shot in their head. “No,” you whispered, tears pooling at the corner of your eyes but you didn’t let them fall.
“Firecracker, run,” he got off of you and began to fire. You scrambled to your feet as he shot at a man walking towards you. His bullets made him take cover but you locked eyes with him. They were blue, similar to the color of your own eyes. His brown hair was shoulder length and half of his face was covered with a mask. But the most striking feature about him was his metal arm that shone under the California sun.
Finding his car wasn’t hard and it was unlocked when you opened the backseat. You slammed the doors closed and tried to calm your racing heart. You mimicked the breathing technique your dad would do. Breathe in for 5 seconds and hold it for 5. In for 5 seconds and out for 5. Soon your heart rate calmed down but your eyes burned with unshed tears. They died, killed right in front of you. You heard voices outside the car and you covered your mouth to keep quiet. His windows were tinted so they couldn’t see in but they would be able to hear you.
More gunshots and yelling made you yelp and the silhouettes of the men outside disappeared. You removed your hand and listened outside. Soon the car door swung open. You bite back a scream that almost left your lips. “Hey, it’s okay,” you weren’t expecting a woman with red hair and green eyes wearing a black tactical suit. You knew her. Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow, and Avenger. “You're safe but I need you to come with me,” you stayed frozen, staring at the woman in front of you. “Look, we are running out of time. Please come with me.” She held out her hand and you took it, hoping you could trust her.
*
This wasn’t how Natasha wanted to meet you. She had so many other ways that didn’t involve your adoptive parents murdered and an assassin who happens to be your biological father hunting you. Nothing was easy for the Black Widow. “Put this on,” she handed you a helmet. “Get on,” she got on the motorcycle and she felt you get on behind her, hesitant arms wrapping around her waist. Natasha kicked up the kickstand and the engine came to life. “I got her,” she said over the comms.
“Well, you got company,” Maria said. Natasha looked behind her and saw 3 vans turning down the street; they were one and the Winter Soldier handing out the window with an AK-47. “Stick to the side streets,” she continued. “I’ll get you both back safely.” Natasha trusted Maria to do just that and started to drive.
“You have to trust me, okay? When I lean, you lean,” Natasha said over the wind. “If you don’t, they will catch us and kill you.” She wasn’t sure if you heard her until she felt your head and squeezed her waist.
“Take your next right,” Natasha let out a shaky breath and turned right. Your body leaned with hers. Okay, the Black Widow thought, maybe they’d get through this.
*
The motorcycle stopped and you took off the helmet. You were in an alley between 2 apartment buildings. The Black Widow got off and helped you down, your legs shook and were a little unsteady. “Come on,” she said, leading you to a door. “We can rest soon.” She opened the door and led you up 2 flights of stairs. The redhead stopped at a door, room 324, and knocked three times. It took a minute for the door to open. In front of you was a woman with black hair, pulled back into a bun. Her brown eyes were sharp but they landed on Natasha and they softened.
“Glad you're alive,” she said, stepping out of the way. You hesitated but followed the Black Widow inside the apartment.
“Did you have that little faith?” Natasha teased sitting on the couch. You could see the tension leave her body.
“What the heck is going on?” You asked. “I just watched my parents die in front of me, a mystery man with a metal man was chasing me, and an Avenger shows up,” you looked at the other woman. “I have no idea who you are or what is going on.”
“I’m Maria,” she waved, sitting down next to Natasha. It was nice to have her name but that did not answer any of your questions.
“We can’t tell you everything right now but you're safe here,” Natasha said. You stared at the redhead, the color so similar to your own. Now that you looked at the Avenger you saw a lot of your features in her.
“How can I feel safe when you won’t tell me the truth?” Her green eyes locked onto your blue ones and she looked away.
“We can’t,” she said. “Not right now.” Your jaw clenched.
“We may be here for a while,” Maria said, standing up. “I’ll show you to your room.” You continued to stare at the Black Widow, wanting her to look at you or wanting to grab her by her shoulders and yell - ‘are you my mother?’ but she wouldn’t look at you. You sighed, following Maria.
“Here you go,” it was a simple room. A bed pushed up in the corner, no TV or posters of any kind. It was a stark contrast to your room. “I know this isn’t ideal,” you skimmed your hand over the bedsheets. “But we will keep you safe.” You looked at Maria.
“She’s my mom, right?” Maria had an excellent poker face but it was a game you’ve been playing since you could talk. She was surprised by your statement so there were a few ways she could go about this; lie, tell the truth, or deflect. You were leaning towards deflection.
“There are take-out menus on the fridge, figure out what you want to eat.” Deflection. It was the easiest way, to tell the truth without betraying someone’s trust.
“Right,” you sat down on the bed. “Thanks.” She nodded.
“Come find us if you need anything,” you didn’t respond as she closed the door. You leaned against the wall, looking out the window to the street down below. People were going about their day unaware of how your life was altered forever.
*
“How is she?” Clint asked over the computer. They just finished a meeting with the rest of the team back in New York to come up with the next phase of the plan. She ignored Tony's thousand and one questions regarding you. Overall he seemed hurt she never told him, since ‘we’ve been through so much together.’ Natasha felt bad, they were her team, her family but sometimes the thought of you hurt too much. But a plan was made which consisted of you, Maria, and Natasha to head to Norway to lay low while the rest of the teams tracked and captured the Winter Soldier. Easier said than done. Now she was only talking with Yelena and Clint while Maria tried to get you to eat.
“She’s quiet,” Natasha knew that was to be expected. “She hasn’t said anything since Maria showed her to her room.”
“Does she know?” Yelena asked. Natasha sighed, nodding her head.
“Yeah, she asked Maria but she didn’t give her a yes or now,” You were smart, maybe a little too smart. “But I haven’t told her.”
“Are you going to?”
“Do we know how they found her?” Natasha deflected. She didn’t have an answer to Yelena’s question. Clint nodded.
“Her adoptive father got into some gambling debts,” he said. “Ripped off the wrong people.”
“But why go after her?” Yelena questioned. “Why do they want her alive?” Now Natasha knew that answer. She pinched the bridge of her nose.
“Her biological father is the Winter Soldier,” she told them. “That is why they are after her. If she falls into the wrong hands, she could be an unstoppable weapon.”
*
You couldn’t sleep. Every time you close your eyes, you saw the metal man with a gun and your parents dead at your feet. Natasha came into your room to tell you that all three of you would be leaving bright and early and to try to get some sleep. You didn’t respond as she left saying goodnight. So you lay awake, staring up at the ceiling. Finally, you sighed and stood up leaving your small room to venture into the rest of the apartment. The other bedroom was on the opposite side of the apartment but you tried to be quiet as you went through the bare kitchen. In the last drawer you opened, you found what you were looking for. A single deck of cards. You grabbed it and sat down at the dining room table. Game night was common practice that took place with you and your parents almost every night. At a young age, they taught you poker, blackjack, pitch, rummy, and spades. You never left home without a deck of cards as a simple game of poker square or solitaire could calm your racing mind. So, you set up a poker square game. It was a game of strategy, patience, and a little bit of luck unless you could count cards. Another skill your parents taught you. “Couldn’t sleep?” The Black Widow questioned. You didn’t answer, glancing up at the redhead as she got two bottles of water and sat across from you. “What are you playing?”
“Poker,” you answered.
“Poker? Aren’t you a little young to know how to play poker?” You rolled your eyes. It was the same thing said to you by every adult when they found out you could play.
“Poker isn’t just a way to gamble all the money in your pocket,” you didn’t look away from the cards. “It can teach you emotional stability in changing situations, to think analytically, and how to read people. But also how to be deceptive, you have to make everyone believe you have something in your hand when in reality you have something else,” Finally, you looked up at the Black Widow. “You’d be good at it. Your poker face is shit though.”
“Excuse me?”
“You know I thought about you all the time,” you went back to your game. “It kept me up some nights questioning why my mother gave me up. Maybe I wasn’t good enough or a mistake or she didn’t love me,” a glance up and you saw everything you needed in her eyes. They softened as her other facial features stayed stoic.
“Not your mom, kid,” she lied.
“From an emotional standpoint, sure, you aren’t. But biologically, I know I share your DNA,” you flipped the last card, placing it in the final spot. Taking a moment to look over how you did, you gathered up the cards again. “Shit poker face remember. It’s all in your eyes, they give too much away,” you shuffled the cards and began to play again. “Not that it’s a bad thing,” you added quickly, not wanting to offend the woman sitting across from you. “Just surprising,” you took a sip of water she gave you. “Can I ask you something?”
“Go for it,” she said. “You can ask but that doesn’t mean I’ll answer.” Her smirk mirrored your own.
“Say we don’t share any biological relation, why would the Avengers come and save me?” You began to play again. “I'm nobody,” you said. “It would probably cost less to have them kill me,” you saw her flinch slightly at your blunt comment.
“You're not the only one he’s after,” you looked up at her.
“Why?” You questioned.
“I don’t know,” she answered. You hummed, nodding your head.
“First time you were honest with me,” you cleaned up the cards. “Goodnight, Natasha,” you took the cards and the water bottle.
“Night, kid,” her voice followed you to the room. When the door closed, you rested your back against it. Your poker face was failing. You felt the cracks. Letting out a shaky breath, you pulled back the covers and climbed in. You were surprised at how quickly you fell asleep.
*
Norway was beautiful. It was your first time leaving the country. You sat in the backseat of the white car with Maria in the passenger seat and Natasha was driving. You stayed quiet, playing with the charm around your neck. It was a turtle dove, a  Christmas gift from Agent Cruise, who had a matching charm. You wondered if he was okay. Maria tried to make conversation asking about your likes and dislikes. You kept your answers short. Natasha drove through a dirt road through the woods and when the car emerged you saw a camper in the middle of a clearing. The driver's side window was down and you heard water. There was nothing for miles around. “It’s not much but we’ll stay safe,” Natasha said, parking the car. Maria got out and opened your door for you to get out. The wind caused goosebumps to form on your skin as you followed the couple.
The camper was simple, a couch that faced a small TV and a kitchen. Natasha walked towards the main bedroom, passing a bathroom. When she opened the bedroom door, there was a man fast asleep on top of the bed. The Black Widow hit the man on his foot, who jerked awake. “You're in our bed.”
“I’m..I’m not even under the covers,” he sat up, looking at Maria then you. “You're new. Who are you?” His voice was laced with a British accent.
“I’m not telling you,” you said, not missing the way Natasha smiled at you.
“Did you get everything on my list?” Natasha asked, walking back into the main part of the camper. You sat down on the couch as the three adults stood around the kitchen countertop.
“Got passports, entry visas, and a couple of local driver’s licenses,” he handed the couple a white envelope. “There is a generator outside. It’s petrol-powered and the septic tank will need a flush in a couple of weeks,” he spun around, leaning against the counter. He was looking at you. “You’ll have to haul your rubbish into town. It’s about a 20-minute drive,” he continued. Finally, you couldn’t help but stare at him.
“Can I help you?” You questioned. He smiled.
“No, just looking,” you rolled your eyes.
“Take a picture and it’ll last longer,” you mumbled, standing up and leaving the camper. You followed the sound of running water to a small stream. You sat on the bank and got lost in the water.
*
“She’s a spitfire,” Mason said, turning to face the couple. Maria picked up the envelope on the counter and hit his arm. “Ow, what was that for?” He rubbed the spot that was just hit.
“Leave her alone,” Maria said. “You're lucky I hit you and she didn’t.” Mason rolled his eyes.
“Does she know?’ He questioned. “She must, right?” Natasha walked over to the window and watched you. You were kneeling by the steam’s edge. “I mean it’s like I’m seeing double.” Mason continued.
“She does,” Natasha whispered. “Not sure how she feels about it.”
“Have you asked?” He asked, standing behind her. The Black Widow shook her head.
“She’s been through a lot. I don’t want to add more to it.”
*
The three of you fell into a routine. You slept on the pullout couch while Maria and Natasha were in the main bedroom. By the time the Black Widow was up for her morning run, you were up playing with the deck of cards you brought from the apartment. Maria would cook breakfast and the two Avengers spent the majority of the day doing Avenger duties, trying to help their teammates in any way. While they were doing that, you explored the surrounding woods and walked up and down the creek. When they needed to go into town, you went with them and a movie to end the night. Repeat. Repeat. And repeat. The repetition of the days wasn’t bothering you but the lack of conversation with the Black Widow was driving you insane. Maria was making an effort and you enjoyed talking and playing cards with her. Every time Maria invited Natasha but she would turn her down, coming up with a bullshit excuse. You knew what she was doing. She was building a wall between you and her. It would be fine if you didn’t catch her longing looks at you or hear Maria and Natasha fight one night when they thought you were asleep. Maria called her girlfriend out on her stand-offish behavior and Natasha claimed it was better off this way, it was only temporary.
Temporary. You were only a mission. Once the metal-armed man was dealt with you would go back home. But where was home? The only parents you knew were dead, no one spoke about Agent Cruise, and you were beginning to feel safe with the couple. Even though Natasha’s behavior was upsetting you. You wanted her to acknowledge you so were going to push her buttons.
*
She just got off a meeting with the other Avengers and you heard the last of it as you came back into the camper for some water. The man disappeared. There were no signs of him. Natasha sighed, closing her laptop. You stared at the Black Widow from the kitchen, finished the glass of water, and placed it on the counter. “I want to go home,” you suddenly said. Her head snapped to you, you thought she was going to give herself whiplash. “They said he’s gone so it’s safe for me to go home.”
“And where are you going to go?” She questioned. Your jaw clenched.
“Anywhere is better than here,” you mumbled, ignoring the flash of hurt across Natasha’s face and walking back outside. You heard Natasha behind you.
“You know if you go back to the States he’ll kill you,” you stopped. “That is what he’s waiting for you. He will find you and kill you.”
“Then use me as bait,” you turned to face her. “Have the Avengers stand guard, he’ll come, you’ll play hero, and we’ll go our separate ways.”
“That’s not happening,” her face was hard to read, not even you could read her eyes. She had been practicing. Shit. “Even if I thought that was a good idea, which it isn’t. You aren’t ready,” you heard a car pull up as Maria returned from a quick trip to the store. “You have no idea how to survive in this world. It will chew you up and spit you out.”
“I hate you,” you said, tears swelling in her eyes. You couldn’t help it. Natasha shook her head.
“No, you don’t. Shit poker face. Your eyes give away too much,” repeated the same thing you said to her. “Not that it’s bad, just surprising.”
“Screw you,” you snapped and ran towards the woods, ignoring Maria calling your name.
*
“Do I even want to know what happened?” Maria asked. Natasha put her hands on her hips and looked down at the grass.
“She wants to go home and I told her that as soon as she sets foot into the States he’ll kill her,” she sighed. “She said we could use her as bait and I may have said some other hurtful things.” Natasha heard her girlfriend sigh and walk over to her. With gentle hands, she lifted Natasha’s head to force her to look up. Green eyes stared into warm brown ones.
“Why are you pushing her away, my love?” Maria whispered, gently pushing away a tear. Natasha didn’t realize she was crying.
“This won’t last,” Natasha whispered. “Once she’s safe she’ll go back to a new family and I’ll never see her again. I can’t,” she cleared her throat. “I can’t handle growing close to her and then having her ripped away from me,” Maria brought her into a hug, cradling her head. Natasha felt her fingers run through her hair. Maria’s steady heartbeat helped the Black Widow’s heart calm down. Maria smelt like sandalwood and rain but it reminded Natasha of home. Maria stepped back, keeping her arms wrapped around her.
“But wouldn’t a little pain be worth it so you experience having her now as you’ve always dreamt about,” Maria pushed a piece of hair behind her ear. “Love her now because you have the chance to.” Natasha let out a shaky breath.
“I love you,” the Russian whispered. “I don’t think I could do this without you.” Maria kissed her softly.
“I’m not going anywhere, baby, I’m right here.”
*
“Kid,” you spun around to see the Black Widow behind you. You weren’t surprised she found you on a small rock near the stream’s edge. “You said you want to go home fine but I’m going to train you.”
“Train?” You questioned.
“Yes,” she crossed her arms. “Once word gets out who you are, that man won’t be the only one after you. I was right when I said you won’t survive this world so I’m going to make sure you can. I won’t always be around to save you,” she added on quickly. Her statement made your stomach drop but there was a crack in her pocket face. She was lying.
“Okay,” you whispered, instead of calling her out on it.
“Okay,” Natasha repeated. “Come on, Maria is cooking enchiladas.” You stood up, wiping the dirt off your pants, and followed the Black Widow back to the camper.
*
Training started the following morning. You were up when Natasha went for her run and you joined her. It's been a while since you had to use your full speed to catch up with someone. Natasha was a lot faster than your 5th-grade classmates. After you ran, it was a quick breakfast then strength training and hand-to-hand combat. Maria would stop the two of you for lunch then it was weapon training. That was your favorite. Instead of nightly movies, you spent your time watching fight sequences and going over old mission reports to enhance your battle strategy.
It has hard and back-breaking work but you loved it. It reminded you of when your dad would take you to his poker games and gave you the job of reading his opponents. No one expected a little girl to have a better poker face than a 40-year-old man. Even though Natasha was yelling orders at you, it was the closest you felt to the Black Widow. Was it the healthiest way to bond with the mother that abandoned you? No, but she and Maria were all you had. You liked the proud smile Natasha tried to hide when you did something well or Maria’s gentle hands to help clean the cuts and bruises you received from the day’s training. It was nice, you felt like a family no matter how grueling the training sessions were.
*
“You're holding back,” Natasha said. You were sparing with the Black Widow with Maria off to the side, watching. You were exhausted. The couple already put you through a 5-mile run and intense strength training. Natasha promised this was the last thing for the day if you managed to pin her. Easier said than done. “Come on, kid, push.”
“I’m trying,” you said, putting your hands over your head, trying to get more air in your lungs.
“When you're tired this is how you grow and learn. Now come get me,” you rushed her but Natasha grabbed your arm and threw you back to the ground. You groaned, staring up at the blue sky. “Come on get up. Do you think he’ll or anyone will let you have a break?” You huffed and stood back up. “This is how you survive. You get knocked down 100 times and you keep getting up because if you don’t you will die.” You sighed, wiping the sweat off your forehead. Think and breathe. Think and breathe. It was like a game of poker. You had to make her think you were going to do something then change your attack. Who knew your parents were training you to be an Avenger? Natasha said you were holding back so you weren’t going to. You sighed, bouncing on your toes, and sprinted towards her. She expected it since it was the same move you went for prior but when she went to grab your arm, you grabbed her and twisted it behind her back. She was quick to escape and you jumped back, creating distance between you and her. There was a smile dancing on her lips but you ignored it. You had to focus.
She made the first move and punched with her right but you blocked it with your forearm. You blocked a few of her blows and hit her a few times in the stomach. She stumbled backward and you surged forward. You grabbed one of her arms and the other went behind her neck. You turned into her, sticking your right foot into her leg, and used the momentum to fling her over your body and onto the ground. You put your knee into her chest and stared down at her. You stared at your reflection in her green eyes. You didn’t recognize the look in your blue eyes but you’ve seen it before. The man with the metal arm had the same look in his blue eyes. It scared you, seeing your eyes void of all emotions and mimicking the glare of that man. Your eyes were dark, losing the light that your parents loved so much. They were void of the color so many people envied. You were terrified of yourself.
With shaky legs, you stepped away from Natasha and Maria was already walking over. “That man who's after me, what’s his name?” You asked, trying to keep your voice from shaking. Natasha stood up and the couple had a silent conversation with one another.
“He’s called the Winter Soldier,” Maria said. “HYDRA’s deadliest assassin.” You recognized the name HYDRA, a name said in passing at one of your dad’s poker games. You looked at Natasha.
“Who is he to me?” You questioned. Her jaw clenched. “Tell me!” You demanded.
“He’s your father,” she said simply. You weren’t sure if it made it worse or better. “The Red Room decided to work along with HYDRA to create the perfect weapon,” there was a deep sadness edged in every one of her words. She looked away from you and towards the woods. Your stomach turned. You were a product of a forced relationship.
“Does he know?” Natasha shrugged.
“I don’t know,” her voice shook. “They did this horrible thing to reset him and wipe his memory. I don’t even think he remembers me,” Maria gently took her girlfriend’s hand in hers. You felt cold all of a sudden. Every one of the weird quirks that made you different now had an explanation.
“Uh okay,” you nodded your head. “I need a minute.” You turned around and walked into the camper, making a beeline for the bathroom and closing the door behind you. Your hands shook as you turned on the water and splashed water on your face. You tried to regulate your breathing; in for 5, out for 5, in for 5, and out for 5 but it wasn’t helping. Bile was rising in your throat. Did Natasha have a choice? Did they have a relationship together or was it forced? You closed the toilet seat and you sat down, your legs finally gave out.
HYDRA was a name whispered once or twice at your dad’s poker game. Your parents must have known who your biological parents were. Did they care? Did they realize the mistake they made before it was too late? You sighed, biting down on a towel and letting out a scream. You hoped the towel would muffle it.
*
Maria found you sitting on the couch with one of Natasha’s pistols and a timer. Like playing poker or another card game, you found that dismantling a gun and putting it back together calmed your racing mind. You glanced at the agent. “Where’s Nat?” You asked.
“Ran to the store,” you nodded. Maria sat down next to you, taking the gun from your hands. “Maybe we should talk instead of playing with a gun.”
“There is nothing to talk about,” you stared at the TV. “I mean I find out my biological mother is an Avenger and my father is a feared assassin who is trying to kill me,” you felt your throat burn as tears threatened to escape. “My adoptive parents are dead and I’m pretty sure they were the reason he found me,” you folded your hands together, squeezing them. “I finally have answers to so many questions but now I don’t want them because I feel so alone,” you sighed, angrily whipping your face. “But I’m so fucking fine.”
“Language,” she gasped. You looked at the woman and laughed at the teasing smile on her face. “I want to show you something,” she stood up and grabbed a small box next to the TV. She handed it to you. “It was part of the arrangement,” you opened the box and saw pictures of you at all stages of your life. “Natasha agreed to give you up in return she got pictures of you and was notified if you were in trouble.” Maria sighed, picking up one of the pictures. “I know it’s very hard to see but she loves you very much even if she doesn’t say it,” you closed the box, whipping away a tear that fell. “And you aren’t alone. You have us.”
“But when the mission is over, what happens to me then?” You asked.
“What do you want?” You weren’t expecting the question, not thinking you had a choice in the matter.
“I know what I want,” you answered. “But I don’t think I can have it.”
*
Natasha didn’t join you and Maria for dinner. She was outside, drinking from a bottle of vodka when you joined her. The only light was from the stars and the small camping light. You sat down next to her on the top of the picnic table. “Are you hungry?” You asked. “I can go get you something.” She smiled.
“Not hungry, kid, but thank you.” You nodded, watching her take another sip from the bottle.
“I’m sorry,” you told her, looking up at the stars so you couldn’t see her face. “This probably hasn’t been easy for you since I’m a constant reminder of everything. Plus I know I haven’t made it easy for you.”
“This is not your fault. I should have been honest with you from the beginning. It just,” Natasha sighed. “Hurt too much.” You nodded, that you understood. Silence fell between you and her.
“I asked Maria what was going to happen to me once the Winter Soldier situation was over. She asked what I wanted,” you looked at her. “Do you know what I want?” You asked. She shook her head. “I want to go live with you and Maria and meet the other Avengers.” The shock was evident on her face.
“Why?” She whispered.
“Because you're my mom,” you whispered back. “And I know I’ll be safe as long as I’m with you.” Natasha let out a breathless laugh, shaking her head.
“Your innocence was stolen because of all this,” she whispered, pushing some of your red hair behind your ear. “I will send out an army to find you even in the middle of the darkest nights. I will rescue you,” she whipped away a few of your tears that fell. You didn’t realize you were crying. “There is no distance that cannot be covered. I’ll be your shelter and armor. There was never a moment you were forgotten or I wasn’t thinking about you.”
“I can’t,” your voice shook. “I can’t lose any more people in my life. I think it will break me.” She pulled you into a hug and something inside you snapped. You cried. You finally cried against her.
“Sh, dorogoy (sweetheart),” Natasha whispered, rubbing soothing circles on your back. “I’m right here. I won’t go anywhere.” You heard the camper door open but you didn’t move from the Black Widow’s arms. You felt the table move as Maria sat down on your other side. Without looking you intertwined your fingers with Maria. She squeezed your hand. “We won’t leave you. We are right here.” You nodded your head against Natasha. You so wanted to believe them but there was a theme of people coming into your life and leaving. Maybe you were the problem.
“Come on, sweetheart,” Maria whispered. “Let’s go to bed. We have a long day tomorrow.” You nodded, removing yourself from Natasha. ‘Along the day,’ you thought, ‘It’s been the longest few weeks of your life. What’s one more long day?’

Just Say It // N.R
Warning(s): cursing, brief mentions of blood & gore, angst w/ a happy ending, long post
You were an anomaly to the team, mostly when it pertained to your abilities and their usage.
When working, rarely was it around the rest of the group. Rather, you’d be sent in after missions for reasons undisclosed to them, or sent alone altogether. If you were along with the team for a mission, it was hard to even entice you to speak.
The team wasn’t complaining about your presence tho, they were rather relieved you’d been around most of the time. Your proficiency in hand to hand combat rivaled that of Natasha’s, so you weren’t a hinderance to their mission, wether with them or away.
But another issue that cloaked you in mystery, was the fact you didn’t live at the compound like the rest of them, and rarely showed to any functions, events, or parties. Tony always extended an olive branch, yet you always denied him with a soft shake of your head.
Somehow, throughout your silent treatment, you got along well with two members of the team in particular.
Wanda was one of them, if outwardly appearance showed correctly. Anytime you were around, whether it be pre-mission planning or taking up space in the common room, you had always had an affliction to Wanda.
You’d sit down next to her with the warm smile you seemed to always bare, and she’d go on to tell you her activities that had transpired the past week. Sometimes she’d discuss her interests, and tried to prod at your own, but you only brushed her off with a wave of your hand.
Next was Natasha, although you were not as friendly to her as much as you were with Wanda. You’d always spar with her, and somehow give her a worthy opponent every time. With your soft smile, and kind eyes, you always lifted her off the mat after putting her on her ass.
And when you both weren’t sparring, you’d sit across the couch from her as she rewatched some spy movie for the millionth time. You never spoke up, and you never ruined the silence that always seemed to befall you both. In the beginning, Natasha felt uncomfortable about your silent presence, but now it had grown to be a constant. The movies never felt the same without you.
It made her wonder what Clint found so terrifying about you.
Clint always paled in your presence, and outright refused missions when you were involved. He’d go so far as to make his exit known whenever you arrived in the same room, and you looked almost sad to see him leave every time.
Natasha asked about it one night, turning the volume down on the TV in hopes that, maybe, you’d speak to her this one time. But you only shook your head, and the apologetic smile upon your face didn’t meet your eyes. You looked sad, and Natasha swore she watched tears well up in your eyes. She felt bad for even asking.
You had been scarce around the compound after that, much more than you were before. You did not linger after missions, and you no longer trained with the team. You’d give them a smile that never reached your eyes, then made your leave every time you had come into contact with them.
The next time Natasha had been around you was relieving, but questionable, considering the rather classified mission Fury had conscripted you both to do.
You both sat in the briefing room, minus the rest of the team, as Director Fury discussed your next mission. It was a recovery mission of a rather dangerous asset, and Fury was adamant on the retrieval of said asset be as easy as possible.
Quirking a brow in Natasha’s direction, Fury seemed to pick up on the question that hid within your gaze.
“She’s only a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of yourself, and the asset.” He said, and you were quick to push yourself from your chair. The stony glare on your face showed that you were not happy with this idea, and Natasha felt offended at the change in your demeanor.
“I know you work alone.” Fury said, not daunted by your uncharacteristic outburst. “But I assure you, she’s there if anything goes south. If the asset steps out of line in anyway, she will prioritize your safety over anything else.”
Fury seemed to turn to Natasha in a silent plea for support, but you were having none of it.
I do not need a guard dog. You signed aggressively, and Natasha was almost shocked to see you communicate with anyone so openly. You’d never signed to the team, and hadn’t even shown any indication that you even knew how.
Another issue came with the fact Natasha had no idea what you were signing to Fury. She had a basic knowledge of sign from what Clint had taught her, but nothing as advanced as you were using.
She almost felt left out of this squabble between you, and the Director.
“She will wear ear plugs throughout the duration of the mission.” Fury said, rubbing his temples to show his growing frustration. “Does that make you happy?”
You aggressively pushed the chair you had been occupying under the table, before slamming the door of the briefing room as you walked out.
“Is she that upset that I’m joining her on the mission?” Natasha spoke up a few moments after they had both been staring at the door in silence.
Fury sighed.
“If she was that upset about you joining her, she would’ve said it.” He said, before pointing toward the door. “Now go get your shit ready for the mission, you’re leaving now.”
The entire ride to the extraction point of the asset was silent, and you barely even acknowledged Natasha’s presence besides a few glances from the corner of your eye.
You were obviously upset from the way you kept sighing every time you looked at her, or the hunched way you sat in the copilot seat on the quinjet.
Natasha desperately wanted to discuss what happened in the briefing room, but the ear plugs within her ears caused every sound around her to be silent. Not even the quinjet could be heard, and it was almost unnerving.
She knew better than to question Fury on a precaution like ear protection, but it still left her with questions. What was so worth losing one of her greatest senses for? Why did you not have to wear them?
Finally, the jet landed in an open lot with various warehouses lining the perimeter.
Seemingly knowing the exact one the asset was within, you waved Natasha in the direction you had began walking toward. She followed at a slower pace, allowing herself to gain situational awareness with her vision, rather than relying on her hearing, or lack thereof.
Approaching the warehouse, Natasha noticed blood covering almost the entirety of the concrete floor and littered with corpses. She recognized the uniforms upon the mutilated bodies, and realized they were belonging to SHEILD agents.
Her hand moved to the gun holstered upon her thigh, but you caught her wrist to stop her. You shook your head, before trudging deeper in the darkness of the warehouse.
As both your eyes adjusted to the lack of light, there was a girl standing alone among the bodies. Like a grotesque centerpiece to the carnage.
The girl noticed your presence but before she could advance on your position, you opened your mouth to speak, causing the girl to stop in her tracks.
Natasha could not hear a single word coming from your mouth, and couldn’t exactly read your lips from standing next to you, but she knew you were speaking. It was daunting to see such a thing, and it seemed so out of character.
What the hell was going on?
You approached the girl, and when Natasha moved to follow, your jutted out your palm as an indication for her to stay behind. She felt uneasy about it, but listened to your instruction.
You continued to speak to the girl as you approached, if your jaw moving was any indication as Natasha was forced to stare at your back.
Minutes ticked by that felt like hours as your approached the mutant girl, and once you were within arms reach of her, the girl seemed to collapse into your arms. You hoisted up her unconscious form easily, and began to make your way back to the jet.
Even as Natasha piloted the quinjet back to the compound, the uneasy feeling had yet to leave her gut.
Upon returning, the recovered mutant asset was met with armored SHEILD agents anticipating her arrival. They took her unconscious body from your grasp before restraining her in a multitude of ways, and you watched from the jet as the carted her away.
Once the asset was out of sight with her cavalry of agents, Natasha was quick to rip the plugs from her ears. You turned to her with that warm smile upon your face again, but it fell the moment you noticed how tense she had become.
“What the hell was that?” Natasha said, and you seemed bewildered as you held up your hands in silent defense. She quickly slapped your hands down. “Don’t give me that, I know you can speak.”
You took a defensive step back, and your eyes glanced toward the door into the compound. The cogs of your brain started to turn, and Natasha noticed you were thinking of making a break for it. She then took a step to the left, ultimately blocking your exit.
You glared at her.
“Are you not going to answer me?” Natasha said, her tone still aggressive. She realized frustration began to tense at your muscles too, and she decided to see how far she could push this until your resolve for silence finally broke.
“Why is that murderous girl so worthy of you to speak to her, but not even the team? Not even me?” She spoke. Your frustrated glare turned questionable when you had realized her words, until you remembered you were upset with her sudden outburst, and your gaze became hostile again.
Your eyes were still glancing toward the door, calculating your possible escape even as she grew more aggressive toward you. Natasha realized she was going to have to push your frustration harder as she stepped into your personal space, practically chest to chest with you now.
“Seriously?” Natasha scoffed. She noticed the muscles of your jaw begin to tighten, but you made no effort to regain your personal space. Your eyes screwed shut, and you refused to even look at her anymore as she continued to assault you with questions.
“Did you think I was just going to let this go?” Natasha continued to chastise you, and you shook your head as your eyes remained shut. “Why have you never spoke to us?”
Your lips twitched, and Natasha froze as she watched you. She was hoping to hear you say something, but realized she had pressed you too far the moment she noticed the tears slipping down your cheeks.
Using her shoulder to shove her away, you retreated toward the doorway as you aggressively wiped the tears from your eyes.
Natasha watched the door slam shut behind you once again, and she felt guilt replace that uneasy feeling inside her. She realizes now she shouldn’t have chastised you as hard as she did, considering your desperation to even try to speak to her.
Then, without a sound Clint approached from behind her as she watched your retreat.
“She’s as silent as ever, I see.” Clint said, with a slight resentment in his tone, and his sudden presence caused Natasha to jump. He glanced her over, with a question on his brow. “She mess’ you up that bad?”
“What is that suppose to mean?” Natasha said, but Clint didn’t fail to notice her grow defensive once again.
“You mean to tell me she didn’t speak to you?” He asked, and now Natasha was growing confused all over again. “That’s not what that whole ordeal was about?”
“Great. Now you’re both being cryptic.” Natasha sighed, with a roll of her eyes. She shook her head, before sighing. “Why do you even despise her so much?”
“I don’t despise her.” Clint said, in a matter of fact tone that furthered Natasha’s sour mood. “I actually owe her our friendship, but it cost the friendship I had with her.”
“If you’re going to keep speaking in riddles, you might as well just shut up.”
“Natasha, I was going to kill you.” Clint said, with a heavy sigh as if the weight of that mission still sat upon his shoulders. “She’s the reason I didn’t release the arrow.”
He remembered the mission briefing, and how hesitant you had been to even participate in such an endeavor. Clint could see it on your face, especially when you glanced his way to see if he agreed with your uncertainties.
“Clint will deliver the killing blow.” Fury spoke, and you cringed at the idea. You were always the passive one in the friendship between you, and Clint. “And if he somehow misses-”
You raised a hand to stop Fury’s tangent, already knowing where it was going to go.
Even after the briefing was over you remained behind in silence, even as Fury had vacated the room. Clint stared at you in silence, and you could feel his gaze burning into the side of your face.
“You don’t think we should do it.” Clint’s voice filled the air, and you sighed even hearing such words spoke aloud.
This is not right. You signed, and it was his turn to sigh.
“She’s dangerous.”
She’s a victim.
“We don’t know her intentions.”
Why not help her?
“Let’s just go, perform the mission, and leave it behind us.” He groaned, and rubbed his hand across his face. “That’s all we can do.”
Weeks passed from such conversation between you, and your closest friend. And now, you both sat atop a roof within a city you couldn’t pronounce to track the target you had been searching for.
She had only moved below the cover of night, and her head swiveled around herself as she walked through the alleyway. Clint pulled the string of his bow taught as he trained his aim upon her back, he released a steady breath in preparation to release the arrow.
That was, until you spoke up.
“Don’t shoot.” You said calmly, barely loud enough for him to hear you.
Clint’s body began to tingle with a warm feeling prickling at his skin, opposing the harsh cold air of the night upon the rooftop. He turned toward you with an absolute look of betrayal upon his face.
His body worked against every plea he had to complete the mission assigned to both of you, to release the arrow within his hand. But rather, Clint replaced the arrow within his quiver.
“Stop!” Clint plead, but his body made no effort to oppose your words. “She’s dangerous, we can’t allow her to live.”
“Look at her.” You said, and his head snapped in her direction. “She’s not much different from a scared kid.”
“More like a cornered animal.”
“Either way, I think she’d be a good agent for SHIELD.” You said, and he grit his teeth at the words he knew were about to leave your mouth. With a look of sympathy, you spoke again. “Go recruit her.”
Clint grit his teeth in attempted defiance, before his body forced himself to perform your words. You watched as he approached the red headed woman in the alleyway below, before turning away to make your way toward the extraction point.
You were happy to see Clint arrive awhile after you, with the red head in tow.
During the debrief of the mission, Fury was beyond furious with both of your performances during the mission, although you took all the blame. You had betrayed Clint’s trust, and had gone off mission with an unauthorized use of your power against a fellow agent.
You were lucky that the only thing destroyed after the mission was your close friendship with Clint, considering Fury had half a mind to toss you into a super human prison for your insubordination. The only thing riding on your freedom was the possibility that Natasha might become a true asset to SHIELD.
“If you betrayed the agency, she was going to be sent to a maximum security prison for life.” Clint said in summary of his story, with a heavy sigh. “She risked everything.”
Natasha shook her head, feeling slightly overwhelmed by the story shared. “Why’d you listen if you were so adamant on killing me?”
“You don’t get it do you?” Clint said, with confusion creasing his brow. “She has the power of absolute suggestion. Everything she says has to be enacted out by anyone who hears, no matter the circumstance.”
Everything that conspired had suddenly began to make more, and more sense. Like your oath of silence, and Fury mentioning you would’ve said that you didn’t want Natasha to join you.
Suddenly, an overwhelming urge to chase after you flooded within Natasha. She quickly apologized to Clint, before rushing through the door she saw you escape to only awhile ago.
“Where is she?” Natasha asked the few teammates within the common room. Wanda hadn’t even looked up from the book in her lap, but rather just lifted a hand to point down the hallway behind her. She could hear Natasha’s rushed footsteps fade as she continued to chase after you.
Finally, Natasha was able to see your retreating form down the hallway, and her steps began to pick up.
“Wait!” She called out to you, fearing that you were once again going to run away from the questions, from the team, from her.
Much to her surprise, you stopped before turning her way. There were still tear tracks stained across your cheeks, and Natasha suddenly felt overwhelmingly guilty. You had risked everything to allow Natasha to be here, a part of the greatest team of superheroes to exist, and as payment she had left you crying.
Rather than speaking, Natasha simply rushed forward to wrap you within a hug. You seemed overwhelmed by the sudden display of affection from the usually bristly assassin, and wondered just where this uncharacteristic outburst had come from.
“I’m sorry.” She mumbled into your shoulder, and she felt you tense under her grasp. Pulling away, Natasha placed her hands upon our cheeks to wipe away the aftermath of your crying.
You continued to stare at her in confusion, before shaking your head as much as you were able as a silent way to tell her don’t be.
“I am.” Natasha pleaded with you. She felt tears prick at her eyes, as the feelings bubbling within her began to grow overwhelming. Leaning forward, she placed her forehead against your own as she closed her eyes.
“You we’re the only person who believed in me, who thought I deserved a second chance.” Natasha said, her voice wavering as she willed herself not to sob. “You risked everything, and looking back, even I think that was a stupid decision! I was a loaded gun just waiting for the perfect opportunity to go off, and we both would’ve faced the consequences of those actions.”
You looked at her, and if she opened her eyes, she’d see the soft smile that sat upon your face. You had begun crying with her, and she continued to rant about you.
“Why?” She asked you before a sob ripped through her chest. “What made you look at me, and think I deserved mercy? I was cold blooded, and ruthless.”
Rather than waiting for her to finish her rant, you silenced her yourself as you leaned against her to place a gentle kiss upon her lips. You sighed into the kiss, and you felt her tension melt into you.
Pulling away from you, she shook her head as fresh tears began to fall down her cheeks. You reached up to wipe them away, before tucking a stray red lock behind her ear.
“Because I love you, Natasha Romanoff.”

Can we take a moment and talk about
Miguel, Hobie, and the Black!Reader
a.k.a Black Men aren't the only one who date black women so why are there only Black!Readers for black characters????
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Don't think anyone has said it but I would like to see Miguel with some Black readers/Black OCs.
Like, I wanna see Miguel with a Boujee black woman, a loud one, a meek one, a stallion, a petite one-
I just wanna see Miguel x Black!Readers and Miguel x Black!OCs.
Black people are everywhere, in every fandom.
So black readers should be giving rep everywhere - not just with radical black characters like Hobie
Black women and black people in general IRL have our features demonized or looked down upon. In media, in the beauty industry, the fashion industry, hair industry, you name it. Our skin tones are 'too dark' to match well with makeup, our bodies too curvy or different, or hair too thick and hard to manage.
I think having characters openly express interest in them is radical - whether the character themselves are black or not.
The reason the Black Representation within Hobie romance fics stands out so much because every other character LACKS that.
In almost every other x reader fandom, black people and our features are ignored and erased for 'sweeter' things like blushing or 'running their fingers through your hair'
Like... Why can't there be a fic where Miguel compliments his Black partners hair. Or tries soul food?
You don't have to be a radical leftist like Hobie to find black people attractive.
So there's no reason for black!Reader to be confined to Hobie - or black characters at all.
You can write Dean Winchester with a Black!Reader. Or Sherlock Holmes, or Hobie Brown, or Miguel O'Hara.
Attraction to black people is so often seen as a fetish - that most white people and white characters never openly exhibit admiration or love towards black features and culture. They'd rather push us and our differences aside because acknowledging them and their beauty makes people uncomfortable. But those same characters will always 100% be implied to find white women attractive.
And in the Superhero Movie Sphere it's even worse.
ie. It's VERY VERY rare you will find Tony Stark with a Black woman.
The large majority of the women you see with Tony Stark early in the movies are WHITE. The ones he's taking to at galas and playing roulette in front of and kicking out after one night stands - White and blonde. If he sleeps with them - white and blonde.
And that's fine in the general population - a nonblack man who 'loves women' and loves sex just... not being seen with black women at all.
But if Tony Stark went two movies sleeping with only women that aren't white - uh-oh!! That draws attention!!
It's completely okay and not a fetish to be super attracted to white features in isolation, but if you take interest in non-white features without validating white women in the same breath then you're nasty and a fetishist and a racist.
Another example - Batman.
Zoe Kravitz was the first time we've seen Batman openly go after a black woman since maybe Eartha Kitt in 1967 - OVER 50 years apart
In the Christian Bale movies - he never flirts with black women. This classy, smooth Bruce Wayne isn't seen interacting with them. I mean... Why? Does he not like them? Or are the all the black people in Gotham just too poor to be around him to begin with?
????????? That don't add up. But that's how most characters are.
If a nonblack male character is shown in a relationship with a woman - the chances of that woman being cast as a black woman hits the FLOOR.
Their first choice is almost always white.
And the saddest thing is
Spider-Man is the biggest example of black erasure in romance and the effects it causes.
That's why when Zendaya got cast as MJ - it was a problem.
Because before then, during the 70 semi years of Peter Parker's existence - he was never shown on screen being attracted to black women in any capacity.
Betty, Gwen, Felicia, MJ - all white. In the cartoons, white. In the remake, white. Silk is probably one of - if not the - first POC we see Peter with. And they don't date, they've never been shown on screen, and over the past years Cindy has had a better written relationship with Felicia than she ever had with Peter.
For half a century we were conditioned to believe that Peter Parker dated white women with no representation or deviation.
Back in 2016 when TASM series was coming out, if you were a black reader who wanted to see yourself represented in any way or capacity on screen or in Fandom - good luck.
We're use to seeing these very romantically forward guys never flirting or fucking or dating black women. We're conditioned to accept this as normal.
It takes a genuine toll.
That's why when I was younger, I use to feel so insecure. Wondering if my favorite characters or celebrities would even find me slightly attractive. The idea that my favorite character wouldn't find me attractive because they've never been seen with a Black partner or interest ever not even once in passing hurts.
As a teen I just accepted that these characters 'Don't like black people' and can't find them attractive in that capacity. Because I mean, I have no reason to think they do - when most nonblack characters won't even look at a black female character for longer than 5 seconds.
Growing up I just accepted that these characters and the fandom as a whole did not see anything beautiful about me because of my race.
That's why Black readers should be more widespread.
We should be telling people that non-black men finding black women attractive is NORMAL.
I read SO many fics of black characters and go 'okay but they wrote reader as white.'
I have NEVER read a fic of a non-black character and gone 'okay they wrote the reader as Black'
Y'all.... You can write interracial relationships with characters that aren't black.
Interracial Relationships are not a special magic tool you can use to pair black characters up with non-black readers. Interracial Relationships go both ways.
If you're down for writing Hobie x NonBlack!Reader and writing an interracial relationship there - why are y'all not down for Miguel x Black!Reader?
Why are interracial relationships good when the black man experiences attraction outside his race towards nonblack people - but bad/unlikely when the nonblack man experiences attraction outside his race towards black people?
'Hobie loves everyone' Okay, Miguel would too. But I don't see the 'Hobie Loves' people rushing and pushing for inclusion in the Miguel tag. They don't care if fanwriters show Miguel 'loving everyone'.
They don't go -
'Miguel loves latinas, Miguel loves black women' in Miguel's tag.
Even though nonblack men experience attraction towards black people and black women everyday across the world.
Some are even married to us - can you believe it??
In conclusion - More Miguel x Black!Reader. More Miguel x Black!OC.
Give Miguel AfroLatino Babies!!!!
Give Miguel O'Hara a Nigerian Wife so help me God
Anyway - Big up @hrhmimieucliffe and their AMAZING Black OC Giselle, who has a ~thing~ ;) with Miguel (they are v cute!!)
More Miguel x Black!Reader. More Miguel with Black! OCs. I want a Miguel that likes his women like he likes his milkshakes - tall, sweet, thicc as fuck, and FULL OF CHOCOLATE
And once again, that's on WHAT!!!!

riff lorton x shy!reader hc's
nav. | m.list
requested by @luckyrabbits - hi! if requests are open, can i request something (fic or hcs are alright!) w riff lorton and a fem / gn reader who’s very shy? ty and have a great day!
word count: 500
a/n: sorry this took so long to make! and as a shy person myself, i totally loved this prompt lol. hope you like this 💗
pairing(s): riff lorton x fem!reader
Tumblr media
riff first sees you when he stops by at doc’s. you’re working alongside tony and laughing at something he’s saying to you, one hand coming up a little self-consciously to cover your smile
riff melts on the spot
he bothers tony for next few days, trying to convince him to introduce the two of you
tony first says no, he knows you aren’t too comfortable around strangers
but riff manages to wear him down eventually
you’re a little scared when you first talk to him, and you’re really thankful that tony and riff manage to carry the conversation on their own with little input from you
but over time, talking to riff gets a little easier
until the mf starts flirting with you
my god, you get so flustered
riff’s a pretty smooth guy, with lots of confidence, he knows what he’s doing
you’re the exact opposite
the first time riff calls you “girly girl”, you get so flustered, you have to walk away to the staff room
he always keeps himself in check though
yes, he loves making you blush, but he never wants to actually make you uncomfortable, so he stays within his limits
he takes you out on multiple dates, usually in secluded places
originally, he did this so you’d feel better, but he ends up liking it more himself, it’s quality time with you AND he’s the sole receiver of all your attention
this isn’t always the case though
sometimes you insist on going dancing because you know all the jets are
and riff loves it too, but he won’t go without you
so you try and bear with it as much as you can
you’re too shy to dance in the hall with all the people milling about you though, so you encourage riff to dance with grazie and the other girls
and even if he does, he always manages to find his way back to you
will probably drag you out of the hall to dance in the parking lot
the music is muted, he sings along to it as he sways you around before pulling you into a kiss
you melt against him, knees unsteady, thankful for the arm he secures around your waist to keep you standing
riff’s also great at extracting you from social situations you don’t want to be in
all you have to do is tug on his sleeve once, and he’ll offer the people around you a pleasant smile and believable excuse before whisking you away
he’s usually the one to initiate physical touch, but on the rare occasions that you do?? fucking dead
just imagine, dragging him down by the collar of his shirt to kiss you?? out of absolutely nowhere?
he always makes the most surprised gasp, too
it fuels your ego, gives you the very necessary confidence boost that you need
riff kind of tends to keep the jets away from you, they’re a really loud and often rude gang
he knows you don’t need to be a part of a crowd like that, so the only jets you properly know are riff and tony
all in all, he’s a great boyfriend, and he finds your shyness endearing instead of annoying
it’s just one of the many things he’s loves about you :)

The dance of three
Fandom: MCU
Characters: Bucky/Steve/Tony
Summary: Steve and Tony help Bucky get out of his head in their usual way.
A/N: I wrote this for Throwback Week, a project where I would be revisiting fandoms and pairings I used to write for back in the day and posting a week's worth of fics for them. But life happens, and I don't think I'm at a point where I can do this project and be happy with the results. I did however finish this fic before deciding to scrap it, and I have a few half-finished ones I'd love to eventually complete, but for now I'm leaving you with this good old fashioned Stuckony fic, complete with tickles and some teasing and pondering. I hope you like it!
Words: 2k
(Read it on AO3)
Bucky wasn’t good at this, despite the amount of them he’d attended in the past year. Too many people loosened up by the excessive amount of booze you could sneak into your system just by casually grabbing at the champagne glasses that were everywhere. Too many people and too many eyes on him, even though they rarely spoke to him. He used to be good at charming a crowd, only nowadays, in this century, he preferred if they left him alone. Galas were full of people he’d never been around. There was no warmth there.
“Are you sulking?” A hand at his waist, Steve’s minty breath at his ear.
“Not exactly,” Bucky replied, straightening out his features which seemed to definitely have been forming a frown. No wonder people glanced at him quickly and then pretended they hadn’t. “It’s hot in here. Don’t you think it’s hot in here?”
Steve smiled. What had once been a situation where Bucky always had the advantage had now turned into the opposite, although neither of them were even close to being on Tony’s level, naturally. “It is a little stuffy in here, yes,” Steve said, humoring him, or comforting him, or both. Probably both. “Do you want to step outside?”
“I want to find Tony and leave.”
“Buck.”
He sighed. “Outside’s fine. I wanted to look at the view anyway.”
The gala, the most boring of parties, was at the very top of a skyscraper with a view of the entire city, meaning even the balcony was gated in the form of tall metal bars to keep drunk and depressed people from ruining the mood. Bucky might’ve imagined it, but the chilly march air felt thin out there, but at least it was quieter.
“The size of this place is bigger than our first apartment.” He pointed to the ground, tracing the outlines of the invisible squeaky floors of a Brooklyn flat many moons ago, which had been lined with the few books they owned and Steve’s many overfilled notebooks. It had almost been beautiful had it not been so utterly pathetic how their lack of possessions had nothing to do with being okay with a meager living.
Steve was following his hand with his eyes, humming as Bucky continued outlining their too small bed and rickety chairs. “So’s our bedroom back at the Tower.”
“I know. It’s weird. I don’t know what to do with all that space now.”
Steve leaned into him, looking so good in that stupid navy blue suit that Bucky imagined pulling him into a restroom just to rip it off. “It’ll get easier.”
Bucky didn’t respond, because he was sure that Steve didn’t just mean this, and Bucky wasn’t in the mood for existentialism, believe it or not.
He sighed and pressed his cheek toward Steve’s face, grinning when Steve laughed and kissed him. He nearly screamed when someone suddenly kissed his other cheek, only the rational side of his brain caught up to him and he turned to find Tony having crept up to them. “Hey you.”
“Hi. Why exactly are you getting cozy without me?”
“Couldn’t find you anywhere.”
“And here I thought it was the two of you who were hiding.”
“Mm, you jealous?”
“That you’re able to hide? Very.” He looked tired, although something in his tone made Bucky say, “So why are we here then?”
Tony clicked his tongue and moved away from him. Steve might’ve been okay with Bucky’s maybe not so subtle whiny tone which he’d adopted for the night, but Tony wasn’t.
“Sorry,” he hurried to add, averting his gaze. “I know you don’t want to be here either.” I know it’s hard for you to be around these people and all the booze.
“Yeah, well.” Tony cleared his throat. “I’m glad you both came with me anyway.”
“Of course we came,” Steve said, shooting Bucky a look.
“Yeah,” he said. “Wouldn’t miss it for the world.”
Tony broke out into a laugh and Bucky felt himself relax. “God, it’s boring, isn’t it?”
Steve shrugged. “I’ve seen worse. Nice view, though.”
Tony turned so that they were standing side by side with Bucky in the middle, watching a glittering New York City that spread out as far as the eye could see. Bucky suddenly felt the overwhelming urge to cry and turned his face to the side where Tony was standing, thinking he didn’t know him as well as Steve did yet, and found him already looking at him. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing.”
“Bucky.”
“I don’t know.”
Tony looked at Steve briefly, the two of them trying to quietly figure out what to do. It might’ve once offended Bucky had he not been so fascinated by the ways they all communicated. How much easier it was now.
“We can leave,” Tony said slowly, a hand on his side, firm and reassuring. “Soon. I’m sorry. I just have to-”
“You don’t have to apologize, Tones, Jesus.” Bucky shook his head. “It’s not your fault I’m being an asshole.”
“You are obviously uncomfortable. I wouldn’t call that being an asshole.”
“I’m, uh, strangely emotional.” He regretted it the moment he said it. “Wait, that sounds pathetic, I take it back.”
Tony laughed more than the situation probably called for. “You’re killing me here. Steve, entertain him while I go sort some things out.”
Steve hummed in a way that made them both turn toward him. “Or maybe we can- you know. Fix things so that none of us have to suffer through the rest of the night. Buy a bit more time.”
Bucky understood what he meant before Tony did, and so he was already bright red by the time Tony started grinning. “Oh. Is that it, then?”
“I never said that,” Bucky was quick to say, although there was no heat in his voice anymore. He both hated and loved Steve for always knowing what he needed.
“But you’re not objecting.” Steve’s smile was kind to Tony’s playful. Bucky didn’t know which one he feared more.
“Only if you want us to,” Steve added. “Otherwise we can stay here while Tony finishes his business. How long would that take?”
“At least half an hour,” Tony said, checking his watch. “Can you wait for half an hour?”
“Not now that you’ve teased me like that.”
They laughed at Bucky’s groan. “Well, that’s settled then. Let’s find a bathroom or something.”
“This is so unromantic.”
“I can totally light a candle.”
“And embarrassing.”
Tony hooked his arm through Bucky’s. “You’ll live.”
They’d only done this once before, but Bucky hadn’t been able to stop thinking of it since. Steve had remembered it from their time together before everything, and so he hadn’t been surprised when it had slowly crept into their relationship with Tony too. Correction. They’d only done it in public once before.
Bucky knew even less what to do with it now that there were two sets of eyes observing him, two mouths smiling down at him. Two pairs of hands slowly unraveling him, finding each and every weak spot. He’d never been shy, but this was too close to it for comfort, only he didn’t mind the vulnerability.
They made their way through the gala, looking determined enough that no one stopped them. Bucky felt Steve press closely against his back while Tony pulled him through the crowd, the three of them interconnected. He imagined them grinning giddily, but he himself had not yet learned how to be relaxed about this. How to have this be more than a knot in his stomach until the very first touch would force the anxiety out of him.
“Why are you-” Steve had stopped himself all those decades ago. “You seem. Tense. But in the wrong way.”
“The wrong way?”
“You don’t seem nervous as much as worried.” He’d taken a step back and Bucky had held himself back from grabbing for him to pull him back. “We don’t have to do it if you don’t want to.”
Bucky had wished to tell him that they could keep it casual, although he hadn’t. Steve would figure it out eventually, although with Tony it was still new and Bucky felt anxious about it again. Everything else had only made it worse, but he appreciated that Tony never made a big deal out of it. They didn’t talk about his anxiety; how his timidness nearly turned him stoic. Steve had accepted it long ago. Tony didn’t question it.
“Ah, here.” Tony pushed open a door after leading them through several corridors to reveal a relatively big bedroom. “They always make sure they have somewhere to put the rich and drunk.” Bucky didn’t ask if he’d been in there before, but he could picture it. Tony stumbling over the carpet. Tony passing out on the floor.
“This is also miraculously bigger than our old apartment,” Steve said, but Bucky’s attempt at a laugh was weak. “Hey,” Steve continued, a flicker of concern on his face. “Do you actually want this right now?”
“Yes.” Bucky ducked his head. “You know how I get.”
Steve stepped closer to him, a hand on his wrist. “I do.” A squeeze. A smile. “The door can be locked. We’re far away from the party, although I would also assume the room is partly sound proof. You can laugh as much as you want.”
“And we,” Tony said, appearing on Bucky’s other side. “can tickle as much as we, and you, want. Okay?”
Bucky finally, finally, broke into a nervous grin. “Okay.”
They were still new to the dance of three, and so Bucky watched his partners try to figure out how to move around each other without overcrowding him. It was almost amusing, only he felt suddenly extremely ticklish and aware of what was to come, and so he sat on the bed and tried to keep himself from curling up already. The gala was nothing to him now. He barely remembered where he was. This room could be any room. This bed could be any bed (except for their old squeaky Brooklyn bed from the 30s). Tony sat beside him first, the mattress dipping from his weight, and turned his body to face him. One day they might not start this with uncertainty, but that was not that day. “Can I-? Your upper body-?”
“Yes.” Bucky ducked his head, keeping his hands from covering his face. “Anywhere you want.”
Tony grinned, slowly, amused. “Okay. Could you lift your arms for me then?”
“Definitely not.”
Steve laughed. “I could’ve told you that. Here, let me.”
He pushed Bucky down gently, covering his body with his own and holding onto his arms, and Bucky was laughing even before he felt Tony reach for his armpit. Steve was blocking many of his spots from reach, but being trapped and having Tony zero in on one specific area was almost worse. And once Steve started nuzzling into his neck? He was a goner. Thank god for sound proof walls and loud galas and partners who didn’t judge you.
Bucky turned his face in an attempt to block Steve’s nuzzling and came face to face with Tony, who really had no business lying down with them but was and was letting his fingers lazily circle Bucky’s skin, moving up and down between his armpit and upper ribs. He was smiling. It tickled like hell. Almost worse because he was taking his sweet time with it.
“Hi,” he said and Bucky would’ve rolled his eyes if he could. “Do you feel better now?”
“Shut the hell up.”
“Oh, Steve, he’s being mean to me.” Tony grabbed for his hip, and Bucky started squirming when he realized he was aiming for the hem of his dress shirt which was tucked in his pants. “That simply won’t do.”
“No, no, no, not bare skin, no-” Of course Bucky’s protests weren’t serious enough, but Tony was still inexperienced that he always paused, giving Bucky a chance to explain if he meant it. When Bucky didn’t continue, he got his shirt free, slipping a hand into it easily and scribbling over his bare side. Steve was still nuzzling his neck, picking up speed again after the brief pause.
How Bucky was supposed to go back out there and pretend as if this hadn’t happened he wasn’t sure. Fortunately his blazer would hide the wrinkles in his shirt, though there was not much saving his hair. Not to mention the ghost tickles that would follow him for the rest of the night. There was no getting rid of them either.

[Earth 616 - Avenger Tower, 15 minutes before you enter the lab]
"So, if I heard correctly, you want to bring her back and let her join the team again?" Tony asked Steve.
A few minutes earlier, Captain America had ordered a meeting; almost all the Avengers were here except for Clint and Thor. The topic of this meeting? Wanda Maximoff. Since what happened at Westview, nobody could contact her, and it's an understatement to say they were shocked to learn she almost killed a teenager to find her nonexistent sons.
"It's rare, but I agree with Tony here. She almost kills a child." Sam said.
"Yes, but we need to be honest; she was the most powerful Avenger, and with Thor, who went with the Guardians, she's the most powerful human on this planet." Steve replied.
"Yeah, but I think you don't know what that mean. We enrolled her after all the Ultron because she wanted to change, but now, she is what we all feared in Sokovia. A powerful witch who killed a super soldier and another Captain Marvel in another universe, and she didn't use her own body. What do you think she can do to us if we upset her?" The billionaire said. And Natasha scuffed.
"You don't mind when it comes to Thor," she replied.
"Because Thor is an avenger who's almost born to protect the earth." he argued.
"She is an avenger too." the woman countered.
"She WAS." Tony spoke harshly. "She was still an avenger after what she did in Westview, but she stopped to be one of us when she did what she did to a fucking SIXTEEN-years-old girl."
"Listen, Tony, we all make mistakes before we become avengers." Bucky said this time.
"No, it's totally a different story, Bucky." The falcon interrupted his friend, "You, you did what you did before and after you decided to be good persons. But she did all the bad things after she became an Avenger." he explained. Honestly, it was understandable, they were afraid. The old Wanda, who tried her best to make up for her past with Hydra, the same who had a pretty romance was gone now. Vision, maybe—
"She did that because she lost all the people she loved," the Black Widow replied. "I'm not saying her actions are justified, but I dealt with death; I don't even know how you could bring me back. But what I'm saying is that I know why she did that." she said. "If it was Pepper who died this day, what could you do?" she asked.
"Don't play this game with me, Romanoff. I know how to deal with death." Tony replied.
"That's why you hated your father." Natasha said, and the billionaire started to be angry. He wanted to argue, but he was stopped by the IA.
"Boss, it seems there is an intruder in the lab." Friday announced.
"Can you tell me who they are?" he asked.
"The facial recognition doesn't work, but judging their clothes, it's Miss. Maximoff." she said, and everyone looked at each other totally shocked. Why would she come here? And precisely in the lab?
Without a word, they all made their way to the lab. Tony equipped his new suit; Steve grabbed his shield; Bucky, his knife; Natasha put her widow bites on her wrist before grabbing a gun with Sam and Banner, was ready for green code. The lab's door slid open without a sound. When they were ready to arrest whoever was in front of them, they heard you say proudly. "Oh yeah, I did it."
"Oh, and what exactly did you do?" Tony asked, and his voice surprised you. You quickly reassemble your widow bites before turning around and facing the Avenger.
"O der'mo (oh crap)," you mumbled. "Uh, wait, guys, I’m not here to fight or anything." you said, and their only answer was to hold up their weapons to you. And you thought it couldn't get worse; you saw red magic around your hand; your eyes turned red; but you were oblivious. Iron Man wanted to blast you, but your magic reacted in time, and a red whip sent him away against a wall. "Sorry," you said. But you knew they'd not accept your excuse.
Captain America threw you his shield, but you unconsciously stopped it and sent him back, thankfully, he didn't end up like Captain Carter, the shield just hit his head and fell on his buttocks. You didn't have to apologize this time; the Winter Soldier attacked you. He was too fast to use your magic without hurting yourself, so your body moved itself. All the training sessions with him and your mom in your universe seem to have taken control of your body, and you easily put him down.
You were just on your feet again, and Sam and Natasha started to shoot you. They definitely saw that you were not an ordinary teen. Your magic activated himself again and blocked the bullet, giving you a relief sight, but the bullet abruptly changed her direction to the two Avenger. "No! Stop!" you yelled, and the bullet just fell to the ground. Okay, there was definitely a problem with your magic, but you didn't have time to think about it before the Falcon rushed to you. It was not a surprise when you knocked him out beside Bucky, but what was surprising, at least for the Black Widow, was that you used her special move. She engaged the fight, but she was more careful than her teammate; she was winning when your magic decided to not listen to you again and a powerful red wave of chaos magic sent her crashing onto the opposite wall.
You watched what you did; did you just win against the Avenger? Wow, it was certainly something you would tell to—. Your body collided with a wall brutally, and you instantly passed out. You forget the Hulk.
------
[Earth 717 - Avenger Tower, two hours after your disappearance]
Heavy footsteps could be heard in the lab; they didn't need to ask Friday, they already knew who they were. The door opened to show an angry Natasha and a worried Wanda. "Where is Y/n, Morgan?" the Russian asked, but the teen didn't find the courage to face her. "America? Peter? Where is my baby girl?" she asked again, but this time she couldn't hide her cries.
"We lost her," America said lowly.
"What do you mean by saying you lost her?" Natasha said. "She's a teenager who wears a fucking scarlet suit; how can you lose her?" she added, obviously angry by the response of the older brunette girl. Wanda couldn't keep the tears from streaming down her cheeks.
"Hey, Natasha, please calm down; we will explain," Peter said softly, and your moms did.
After they explained what had happened on the mission, the Sokovian was officially falling apart, and the Russian was afraid but so angry. "How can you lose her in the multiverse?" she asked.
"The time machine exploded before I could close the portal, and I was sent to another universe too. When I came back, Morgan told me what happened, and I searched for her for an hour and a half, but I couldn't find her. Even if I focused on her. I was sent to some universe where there was a Y/n, but they were not the right." she admitted.
"We need to find her." Wanda said for the first time, she was unstable visibly very worry.
"Hey, it's okay, my love?" Natasha asked, but her wife shook her head.
"I can't feel her, Natasha." she said, and Natasha seemed to understand. "I don't know if my little angel is alright. I can't feel her." She cried harder. "I can't feel her," she repeated. "Why can't I feel her?" she asked her wife, but the redhead didn't have an answer. It was something Natasha didn't fully understand, since when you kicked Wanda's belly for the first time, a bond was created between you and your mama. You were always able to feel the other, even if sometimes you hated that it was reassuring you, when you developed your power at five years old. Your moms don't stop being avengers until you were ten, so during the five years you used this special bond to make sure she was alright every time she left.
"Don't worry, Auntie Wanda. I may have a solution to locate her wherever she is." Morgan announced, and everybody looked at her and seemed to wait for an explanation. "I made her new widow bites since she broke the previous. And I decided to add a tracker who worked in the entire multiverse. That's mean when she will use them, I will be alert." she explained, and it seemed to low your mom worries a little.
"Thanks, you Morgan," Natasha said, and the girl smiled,
"Of course, auntie Nat, she's my best friend too. I will do anything to find her," she assured them. "But for now we can't do anything more. I’ll call my dad and see if he can help me, and America will alert Strange." she said, turning to Peter. "Peter, you'll bring Khrono and the red Goblin to the cops." she said, and he nodded.
~~
"How is it even possible to lose her?" Tony asked her daughter, and Morgan sighed.
"Honestly, I don't know; it all happened too quickly." she said.
"And how are they?" he asked.
"Not good. Auntie Wanda didn't stop crying; auntie Natasha called Yelena and Kate to inform them. Wanda should call Pietro soon," she explained.
"And how are you?" he asked again.
"I don't know. I'm angry at myself for not being able to save her." she replied, and some tears started to fall on her cheeks. "But I need to be strong, because when Pietro comes he will bring Luna, and I will need all i have to not let her miss her cousin." she said, and she chuckled.
"We'll be here this night," he said, and she smiled, "I love you Morgan." He added,
"Me too, dad, more than 3000." She said, and they both chuckled.
"Yeah, more than 3,000," he repeated before hanging on.
"Who was it?" Pepper asked when she entered the bedroom.
"Morgan," Tony replied, and the blonde woman frowned her eyebrows.
"Is she okay?" she asked worriedly, but her husband nodded.
"Her yeah, but they lost Y/n on their last mission," he confessed, and Pepper almost fell apart, but Tony caught her before. "Hey, it's okay. We will leave in one hour, Morgan needs me to help her." he said, and the tall woman nodded.
~~
In Ohio, Melina was on the couch in front of a picture of you. She took it when you celebrated your seventh birthday there, you pleaded for an entire week to convince your mom, but it was worth it; it was one of the best birthdays you had. Your grandma was too focused on your face in the picture to hear Alexei came back until he sat beside her and wiped a tear with his thumb. She looked at him, and she cried. He didn't say anything; he just let her use his chest for support.
After a moment, she raised her head and looked at the frame and at him, "They lost her." she said, and immediately placed her again against his chest. She didn't see it, but she felt it, the Red Guardian was crying as well.
~~
"But how? I mean, we all know she's reckless and she's started a rebellious phase, but how can it be possible?" Pietro asked. He just came with his daughter, Luna, and with Yelena and Kate.
"You're sure you search everywhere?" the blond asked America. With all the time she lives here, her accent slowly fades like the twins'. The brunette just nodded, and everybody sighed. Kate sat next to Wanda and gently rubbed her back.
"It's okay, we will find her." she said. The brunette was always optimistic when it involved you, but for the first time she started to doubt.
'Morgan was in her lab, she was working on the last details for your new widow bite, when her phone rang.
"Miss. Stark, Y/n try to call you." Friday informed her, and the teen picked up the phone.
"Hey, Y/n/n, are you okay?" she asked, but you didn't reply; you just sobbed, and she immediately worried. "Y/n. What's happening?" she asked, more anxious this time.
"We fought again," you replied, and she sighed. "Can I sleep in the tower tonight?" you asked shyly.
"Yeah, of course. You know you don't have to ask; the door is always open." she replied.
"Thanks, Morgan." you said quietly.
"Always." she said, and after that she hung on. You were in front of the tower in less than ten minutes, and she greeted you with a tight hug while you sobbed against her chest. "It's really that bad?" she asked, and you nodded. She led you to the kitchen when you told her everything.
"I don't deserve them." you concluded your monologue.
"Don't say that you were just angry. I say awful things to my dad when I'm angry too." she reassured you.
"Yeah, but you never said that he didn't deserve to be a dad," you said, and you chocked with saliva at the memory of your mom's face when you said that. "I really hurt them this time. Most of anything or anyone. I'm sure they started to miss their time with the Red Room and Hydra when they didn't have to raise a girl like me." you added. Morgan stood up to hug you.
"Don't say that. We both know you don't mean it." she whispered to calm you.
"And if I mean it," you said. She tried to protest, but you stopped her. "You should see their faces. I'm a bad daughter." you added and started to cry again.
"Shh... Just go take a shower and sleep, and we will talk about it tomorrow," she said, and you nodded. You left the kitchen, and Morgan just stared at you. She started to think about a plan to cheer you up a little.'
Knocks on her door bring her back into reality. "Hey sweetheart are you alright?" Pepper looked visibly concerned.
Your best friend cleaned up the tears that fell because of the memory, "Yeah, don't worry, mom. It's just that... all this stuff, I don't know what to do." she admitted, and the tall woman received the message and hugged her.
"You'll find a way to bring her back like you always have since the last three years." her mother whispered in her ear. "I'll stay with Wanda; your dad should be here soon," the blonde woman informed her, and she started to leave but was stopped by the voice of the teen.
"Mom?" Morgan called her, and Pepper looked at her, "I love you." she said, and her mom smiled.
"I love you too."

[Earth 616 - Avenger Tower, the next morning]
What's left of the Avengers was in the kitchen, where there was a tense silence. They were all reflecting on the previous night, when everything had happened so quickly. Some footsteps let them hear them and enter the room; it was Doctor Cho. "I finished patching up her wounds; I don't know how she could fight when she was stabbed in the abdomen. She's young but pretty strong." she said, and she picked something up from her pocket. "I don't know if you want this, but I think we shouldn't throw it." she added, and let the widow bite on the table. "I changed her clothes, and we moved her into the special room like you wanted. I'll leave, but I should be here tomorrow to check her injuries." she informed them and left.
All eyes were now on the weapon on the table. Only one question was on their minds: who are you? They exchanged looks before looked at the redhead. "So, nobody wants to talk about it?" Sam broke the silence.
"What do you want to talk about? That a mysterious girl found a way to enter the tower without alerting Friday? Or the fact that she wore the same clothes as Wanda? Or the fact that she has the widow's special weapon?" Tony asked sarcastically.
"And if we talk about the fact, she easily laid down five Avengers?" Bruce said, and everyone glared at him. "What? If I wasn't here, she would escape." he added.
"You knocked out a poor little girl." Bucky said.
"A girl who can knock out two super soldiers is not 'a poor little girl'." The big man said.
"Talking about it." Steve said, and everybody looked at him. "Do you know her, Natasha?" he asked, and all the men looked at her.
"Yeah, she fought like a widow," Sam added.
"No, she didn't fight like a widow." Natasha said, and they were confused. "She just fights like me," she added.
Bucky wanted to talk, but Friday cut him off. "Mr. Stark, Doctor Strange is here." she announced, and everyone was confused. Why would he come here suddenly. Tony didn't have the time to ask the IA why he was here before the sorcerer appeared in the room. But he was not alone; there was a boy in a blue and red costume and a girl with a jean vest; they knew the girl but not the boy.
"So, where is she, Spider-Man?" Strange asked without even acknowledging the other adults.
"We're happy to see you too, mister magician," the billionaire said. And, Strange finally noticed everyone.
"Nice to see you alive, Stark, but I thought Miss Romanoff was... you know?" he said, and Natasha just sighed.
"And who are they?" Steve asked while pointing at the two teens.
"I’m Peter—uh, I'm Spider-Man," Peter said.
"Oh, the little spider boy who plays the hero in New York." Sam said, and the other avengers looked at him. "What? You don't watch the TV." he added, and the boy nodded shyly
"And you?" Bucky asked the brunette girl.
"I'm America Chavez." she replied.
"Okay, but what are you doing here?" the blonde super soldier asked.
"The boy said someone wanted to talk to me, and this person should be here." Stephen explained.
"So, the little teen who broke into my tower and knocked out the two super soldiers was yours?" Tony asked, but the sorcerer frown his eyebrows.
"What, don’t you know her?" Natasha asked, and he shook his head.
"We didn't tell me her name, but if she's here, I assumed she was a new recruit." he replied.
Sam wanted to talk, but the IA spoke again. "Avengers, the mysterious girl is awake," she informed them. They didn't waste any time and walked to where you were. For everyone, you just looked lost in this room alone, but for Steve, something seemed familiar.
You looked at the group and noticed Strange, "Hey doc." You greeted him, and before he could reply, you noticed America, well, a young America. "Oh, I didn’t see that coming." you said, and the ones who were in Sokovia looked at you, shocked by your words. "O naiba, încep să vorbesc ca unchiul Pietro [Oh crap, I start to talk like Uncle Pietro]." you mumbled to yourself.
"What did you say?" Steve asked, and you looked at him. "What did you say before you spoke in another language?" he repeated.
"Oh that? Oh, it's nothing, don't worry. I say that sometimes when something happens. Mama says it's a family thing." you said, and you lowered your head at the memory of your mama.
Tony cleared his throat and brought you into reality. "I think we all want to know who are you and what you want." he said.

Dropping a stack of papers on the table, the man sighs as he rubs his hand over his face. This wasn’t the conversation he wanted to have on everyone’s day off but the longer they wait the more difficult the situation will be to defuse. “This is serious now Wanda, don’t you understand that yet?” Steve just wanted her to agree, nod her head and let them help her figure something out. He didn’t want the young girl to ever be put in a situation where she may end up a public enemy again.
Pouring a few fingers of whiskey, Tony’s nonchalant attitude would normally frustrate everyone but he is keeping the room calm at the moment. “It’s no longer a maybe, everyone can see the changes in you. It’s basically a flashing sign to the rest of the world that we’re losing control of a ticking time bomb.” His voice is already slurring a little, and you can tell that the surprise meeting took him by surprise but nothing would stop him from drinking in the moment. His family, the team, was falling apart in such a deep way and it was starting to affect him more than most understood.
“I have it under control, I told you that.” Wanda was glaring at the table, practically refusing to look at anyone. She hated being surprised like this, it felt more like an interrogation or intervention more than a team meeting.
“We can’t trust your judgment anymore, Maximoff.” Fury always has an air of authority to him, even to the witch who rarely interacted with him. She never liked him, for he had originally been part of the group that wanted to imprison her for her actions with Ultron. The man regardless demanded respect with each word he spoke, even gaining the brunette’s gaze. “Should have taken Hill’s word for it and kept you under lock and key from the moment we realized how dangerous you could end up.” The sarcastic jab was unprofessional, but he didn’t take it back instead staring directly at Wanda.
Glaring at the head of her girlfriend, the witch tries to prompt her into doing something. “Seriously Nat, you’re going to just sit back and let them speak to me and about me like this?” She knew that the two were having issues, but at the end of the day she knew she would never let someone else berate the ginger like this.
The widow shrugs, helplessly shaking her head as she finally looks up. “What do you want me to say? I told you that we couldn’t handle this alone, though personally I think this is out of their control at this point but at least we’re finally stepping out of trying to deal with it without help.” It’s almost a slap to the face, a decision that makes it seem almost helpless that the two have been together for almost a full decade at this point.
Tony sets his glass down, a clank sharp enough to pull everyone’s attention. “Earth can’t handle another eruption, and right now the cherry bomb over there is the biggest one on the radar. It isn’t about sides, we protect and right now I’m not any of us know where this is actually going to end up.”
“At this point I think you guys just want to lock me back up, throw away the key and leave me to rot. Would that make you guys feel better?” Wanda’s anger could be felt throughout the room, even though her entire body was calm and relaxed.
The widow in the room speaks slowly, under her breath, but in the dead silence no one could have missed it. “Might make the rest of the world feel better.” Even when she realizes that she said it out loud, you could tell there was no regret.
“Classy Romanoff, real classy.” Rolling his eyes, Tony downs the rest of his drink as he tries to keep calm. The entire domestic situation was getting out of control and he had a feeling that it would cause the future to be even more rocky if they stayed divided.
Finally moving to show her emotions, Wanda’s hand slams against the table. A loud resounding smack makes everyone flinch, sparks of scarlett magic flying into the air. “Your problems with me aren’t the boys’ business, so why do you constantly want to air it out in front of others?” The death glare shot towards Natasha would send anyone else to their knees, begging for forgiveness but not the widow.
The assassin was used to the witch’s outbursts, though they were more frequent when she was younger they haven’t changed one bit. Rolling her eyes at the tantrum that she knows is brewing, she just blankly stares back at Wanda. “When have you ever been against showing off to others? Don’t you love when others watch, you get off on it.”
Seething, the Sokovian bares her teeth at her girlfriend; furious that this entire thing is always being turned on her. “You’re the one that left our last conversation.”
A mocking laugh breaks up the heavy breathing, baited silence as everyone waits for them to finish. “I left? Me? Miss Houdini over here thinks that I left! That’s real entertainment.”
Wanda’s rings scrape against the table, a screech that has the men in the room grimacing, as she exhaustedly sighs. “Walking out after someone tells you what Bishop told us is not okay Natalia. No matter what your reaction is, that is not it.”
“Get over that night, everyone else did.” A note of silence plants a seed of doubt, watered quickly from the diverted gazes and quiet throat clearing. “Didn’t they?”
“You got over it. You put a fake bandaid over it. The gifts…I heard they were nice, and of course the suit we made turned out great but…even I know that gifts can only go so far.” Tony sort of shrugs, an attempt to not piss off the ginger.
A loud scoff interrupts him, the witch stranding quickly as her chair falls behind her. Pushing into the widow’s personal space, Wanda leans down into her face. Her hands land on the armrests, blocking her partner from being able to get up. “Get it through your thick skull Romanoff, the world doesn’t just fall to their knees because you decide that you are ready to move on.”
It’s silent for a long time, the two women glaring at one another with neither willing to budge. No one really wanted to interrupt, stupidly  hoping that one of them would give up, be willing to nudge at at least a little. When the staring contest goes on for almost ten minutes, the other men all look to one person to try and break it apart. “Even though this fight is incredibly sexy, a real treat ladies. This isn’t what we came to talk about.” Even as Steve and Nick sigh, cringing when they realize how Tony decided to ease tension, everyone is relieved when the two women finally separate.
Straightening his posture, a very uncomfortable Steve clears his throat. “Yes, we need a game plan for whenever this…prophecy is fulfilled.”
Wanda rolls her eyes, her face slowly becoming stoic as her mask falls into place. Deliberately ignoring Natasha when a noise of concern falls from her pursed lips, the witch turns to to the captain swiftly. “Here’s the plan Star Spangled Banner, I go away. That’s all. You won’t have to worry about me when I am gone, and I don’t need anyone to even be concerned with me.”
Before anyone can even reply, or try to stop her, the brunette disappears only leaving behind a puff of crimson.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A hand tugs you back, and you almost chastise the blonde but she’s shushing you and pointing to the four men walking the path below you two. Floating above a balcony, you lower the two of you to a ceiling beam to try and help conceal your position. It’s mostly dark, just a few dim lights flickering. Thankful for your new technology, and watching as Yelena slips on her green goggles, the two of you take your time to scan the area. You know that this entire situation is no longer an offensive, a recovery mission on one of the highest protocols as not only a huge group of civilians but two of the most prominent heroes are incapacitated.
Echoes of taunts and muffled whimpers reach the two of you, analyzing the possible route around becomes a breeze as you blink through the purple arrows showing you the best way. When the two of you hear an agonized scream it doesn’t take much more for you to drop down, ambushing the masked men below you. Working together you and the blonde almost move as if you are one, your connection truly shining through fighting for the first time. Even as you move farther into the building, separating as needed, it’s almost like you share the same brain.
With each move you decide to make, your confidence never wavers as the comforting vibration of crimson mist moves along your body. Besides trying it on during the holidays, you had never worn the suit and the way it works with you is mind blowing. Any time you came face to face with one of the masked men it was like the suit knew what to do, the perfect weapon materializing out of chaos into your hand.
Maroon blades and arrows glitching from their spots where they stick out of those you leave in your wake, anger from knowing they hurt people you loved making you not second guess your actions. Never running out of weapons coming in handy as the two of you work your way through the huge bank, before finally coming to a meeting point right in front of the main lobby. You take a moment to breathe as you sneak through the last hallway, assessing the situation, and realizing that Wanda made sure that no one could ever track you for everything you leave with them disappears.
Yelena finally settles next to you, working on a small phone as she works to hack into the building’s alarm and security system. “The witch did good on your suit.”
Nodding silently, you stand next to her with a shield of scarlet curving around the two of you as you focus on the small screen. “This is Katie’s code.” Your voice is hushed, though excited when you realize that you should be able to figure it out easily enough. “I recognize it from when I hang out at work with her. I think..if you switch the last two things and just rework that fourth line then it should work perfectly.”
The blonde rolls her eyes at you, doing what you suggest and chuckling as it works perfectly. She easily begins to work through the system, setting up different triggers. “You know, I am shocked that you remember anything from your time at her company as you drool so much over her.”
She interrupts you before you can chastise her, nodding as she slips the phone back into a pocket somewhere. Making note to giggle at her later, you let the mask show you where to go as the two of you scale the ceiling. The list of how many civilians to save growing with each second you crawl around, the center of the floor finally coming into view. You can see the faint purple electric forcefield first before the mess of people inside, the mask zooms in on the huddle for you.
Almost immediately you divert your eyes, unable to fully see two of your favorite people in such a position. Instead you take a deep breath, preparing yourself for a fight of your life. You could recognize how outnumbered you were, especially with so many of the men in the middle of the floor. They were all heavily armed, and you knew that the two of you were already exhausted after taking so many people down alone. Unsure of how good the group of men were at wielding their overpowered weapons made this mission a bit more difficult, but it wasn’t anything you couldn’t handle or so you were telling yourself that.
Slowly your eyes slip shut, the blinking lights and distant screams overwhelming you. It wasn’t something you were used to, and you knew that it was something you would need to train to be better equipped to handle. You never thought when you got this suit a few months back for Christmas that it would be used this quick.
You knew you didn’t have time to be scared, not a single moment to work through the fear that was starting to completely take over your system. It was no longer an option, not that it was one in the first place, instead you had to dig deep. Finding that little girl in you that desperately just wanted to save people, the one that would have grown up to be an agent if not for that tragic night. Maybe you weren’t focused on saving every single person in the bank, and maybe that was incredibly selfish, but thinking about letting two of the most important people in your life slip between your fingers was all it took for you to step off the beam.
Eyes closing as you feel your body fly through the air, trusting the way the crimson mist moves along your skin and holds you so tenderly.  You can hear shouts and screams, people rushing around below you, but even as things go soaring past you the suit almost makes you feel like time is slowed down. Giving you energy and focus, you can hear the way the witch would speak to you. Encouragement and love filling each thought, leaking into your body and filling you with a confidence that can only come from someone as powerful as her believing wholeheartedly in you.
Landing in the middle of the room should have scared you but truthfully you knew in the back of your mind, and at the center of your heart, that anything Wanda would ever give you would never allow you to be hurt. The mask covered your eyes, but it didn’t matter as your vision was just a huge screen of red and purple static, almost as if it was a glitching computer screen.
All your senses, all of your nerves, your entire being filled with a warm radiating chaos all flooding from the gleaming mark along your ribs. The fight was no longer just yours, but you knew that your favorite witch was there too. Standing tall in the middle of a shocked group of people, your vision cleared and your goal was in sight.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You knew the moment that you came home that everything would explode. After pushing the suit to its limit, you had barely been able to teleport the four of you to the penthouse before passing out.  Happy that you were able to at the very least keep everyone safe, your body just wasn’t used to that amount of magic surging through your veins.
Yelena had called upon her own people, a favor to get all of you back to Avengers campus. The two young heroes were immediately taken to medical, and you were brought to Kate’s room to rest. The doctors cleared you quickly, stating you just were exhausted and needed a good nap. Enlisting your best friend to make sure that for the next day or so, you would stay hydrated and fed; true rest.
She as per usual took her orders seriously and monitored you closely as you slept, dreading the next unspoken part of her job; calling your two rage filled owners. The younger sister knew that she was practically dousing the flames with gasoline the longer that she procrastinated calling them, but even she was scared of them sometimes.
By the time that they were called, you were happily walking around and feeling completely better but you knew that it was only a matter of time before the two showed up. Unsure of exactly how they would react, you decided to just try to prep for anything. Anger and intense fear was for sure, but you knew that even though the rules weren’t explicitly written out that you broke many. The suit wasn’t made for you to become a hero, or an agent.
While you and Yelena were playing a casual round of Town of Salem, the door slammed open. Crimson magic practically crushing the metal, looming silhouettes of the two women scary even from a distance.
It was the angry voice of the widow that breaks the volatile silence. “What do you mean you took her out on a mission?” It’s demeaning and directed at her younger sister, lunging towards her before stopping herself short.
Wanda takes her time to walk towards you, her face void of any emotion as she scans your body. She takes her time to formulate a sentence, letting the two siblings squabble behind her as she takes the blonde’s spot next to you. Finally reaching out, she tangles her fingers with yours and the anger fueled fear shines through her emerald eyes. “That was for extreme emergencies only Detka, not for you to go out and find trouble!”
You sigh, knowing that you were going to have to defend why you went with the white widow. “This was an emergency and look at me, I’m completely fine!” Gesturing to your body, you try to point out that you only have just a few small cuts and bruises. The suit that the witch had made you was extremely effective at protecting you from any harm.
Natasha’s head pops up, quickly scanning your body. Even though she can easily determine that you aren’t hurt, she still angrily flails her hand in your direction. “Yeah, you are but you could have not been. You should have never gone to get her Yelena, ever.” Shoving her sister to the ground, she looms over her and snarls whenever she tries to get up.
Flopping dramatically back, rolling her eyes up at her older sister Yelena sighs. “Oh cool, am glad you seem so worried about my heath and safe being.”
Kicking her side, huffing as Natasha watches the blonde roll uselessly around on the ground. “You are trained for this, you are THE white widow.” The ginger glares down at the girl when she laughs.
“Kate Bishop is Hawkeye and Peter Parker is Spiderman. All trained and made for this job as well, and you see that they needed help.” The younger widow’s wiseacre tone just further pisses off her sister, but she can’t help but push her buttons. She knows you’re safe, that everyone is safe, and that’s all that matters.
Nodding along, you perk up at your best friend standing up for you. “Don’t forget that in all technicality I have been trained to do this! Do you forget who I was raised by?” Cringing internally at the fact you brought up your lineage, the field that you were destined to be part of.
Wanda sighs, knowing that you weren’t going to budge with Natasha’s angry outbursts. Cupping your chin, she gently turns your face to her. The soft emotional storm shaking the forest in her eyes makes you whimper, a small noise that falls from your lips involuntarily. “You may have been raised by them little one, but we all know you didn’t care for or want the lifestyle.” Even though she sounds much more gentle and loving, it still pisses you off.
“That isn’t fair! I may not like the lifestyle but we all know I am damn good at it. It’s in my blood. S.H.I.E.L.D has been begging me to join the rankings since I could basically walk.” Natasha opens her mouth to interrupt you but you barrel on, despite cringing at the thought of being disrespectful. “I was born to do this and while I may not enjoy it, or have the will to do it daily, if it means saving or aiding any of you then you damn well know that I am going to don the suit and do whatever I need to.”
Yelena is pushing her sister’s foot off of her, sitting up excitedly. “You should have seen her out there, you two need to set your fear aside and know that your little princess is amazing in the field. She knows what to do and honestly if she ever did want to join the agency, I would jump at having her as a partner.”
Rolling your eyes, you reach down to shove the blonde. Knowing she’s just trying to take the heat off of you, a sigh leaves your lips because you can’t truly be angry at her. No regrets from going to save the two Younger Avenger captains, and nothing could change that; not even the two older women glaring down at you. If you ever did step foot in the field, you know that you would be more than thrilled to be partners with your best friend.
Natasha shoves her way in between the two of you, stubborn as usual. The widow refused to budge on her way of speaking about the situation, anger completely over taking her entire mind. “I don’t care how amazing she was, and I know she was amazing. Personally I never wanted that suit to be anything but a defensive thing. It was never meant to go out into the field, nor was it ever meant for you to go wild and perform a retrieval mission.”
You almost choke as you prepare yourself to do what you know needs to be done. Knowing that if anyone else says anything that neither of the older women would settle, the responsibility falls to you. Having spent the last almost five years obeying them almost completely you knew that this act would feel weird, never one to push back in this way. “Kate needed me. Peter needed me. They needed saving and obviously no one else was going to go, for whatever reason it fell to me and Yelena. We stepped up and saved them, and that’s all that should matter. No one else was harmed and we walked away safe. I have no plans to make a habit out of this before you ask. This isn’t something that I want to do a lot. Just drop this argument because at this point, I think we all need to realize that our emotions and feelings are being entirely redirected. I don’t know or understand what is happening, and it is frustrating as hell but I need everyone to figure themselves out.”
Yelena’s eyes widen, never once hearing you stand up to the older women. A small smirk pulls at her lips as she watches her sister and the all knowing witch stumble back, jaws slack as they stare at you. She felt relief, hoping that this would be the beginning of the end of this entire situation. The blonde desperately wanted everything to progress and settle down, the tension was too much for her to deal with.
“I’m going to go be with them while they wake up. I’m sorry for yelling and interrupting but I just need you guys to understand where I stand. This entire thing, whatever it is, is affecting us too. I’m not sure exactly what is going on with you two, but I’m not stupid. I will see you guys later.” You have to force yourself to immediately stand, storming out of the room before you looked into their eyes.
The white widow watches as you walk out of the room, chuckling silently before turning to see the other two struggling to mask their emotions. Wanda seemed to just be angry, eyes wet as she breathed deeply. Flickers of crimson could be seen sparking in the forest of her eyes, her nose twitching as she struggles to control herself. Natasha on the other hand almost drains of all humanity, her face pale and her eyes dim. It’s almost like the words and the venomous tone strikes her directly in the heart and she was losing all ability to live. The youngest wants to say something but she isn’t sure it would help, so instead she just shrugs sympathetically and follows you.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The gentle beeping is soothing as you stare out the window. Having spent the past few days in this room, you had your favorite spot and you knew the best times to see the best views.
“You don’t have to hang out with me every day, you know.” Kate’s sleep filled voice catches your attention immediately. She’s pushing herself to sit up, rubbing at her eyes. She looks so young in the hospital gown, and it makes you aggressively protective over her.
Sitting in the spot where she’s patting at, you take her hand when she reaches out for you. Kissing her cheek softly, you make sure to not move too quickly as you watch her reactions carefully. “Silly girl, I’ll always be at your side.”
Her head falls back, an exasperated huff leaving her lips as she stares up at the ceiling. Flopping her arm, IV rattling about awkwardly, as she grunts annoyed. “I’m just here for one more day. Stark feels horrible and I think he’s just overeating at this point. Having the nurses keep us in this prison longer than necessary.”
“I agree with him, I think you should stay here until your body is allll better.” You lean in giving her a gentle kiss on different parts of her face, scratches and stitches.
Kate hums, a content sound as she lets her eyes slip closed. Basking in the love you give her, she tries her hardest to ignore the faces that she sees with her eyes shut.
Reaching up, you cup her face and use your thumbs to smooth the worry between her eyebrows. “I’m here Kate, I’m here and I’m not going anywhere.” It didn’t take much more for the archer to break down, shoving her face into your palm as sobs shake her body.
The two of you sit, curled up together now, unsure of how long the brunette cries into your neck. A sound that breaks your heart, but it needs to happen.
Her voice is broken, scratching at her throat as she forces herself to speak the thoughts screaming inside of her brain. “I froze, in the moment that I needed to be the most brave I froze. Peter was behind me, screaming as his body shut down and I froze mid air. What kind of hero am I if I can’t even save my best friend?”
“It’s not good, you’re right, but do you really think that he’s going to blame you? It didn’t get close enough but I don’t think you would have let him die.” The girl always begged you to rationalize the thoughts in her head, to help her see the real side of things when she no longer could but it hurt every single time to do it. “Things happen, my love, it doesn’t make you a bad person or a bad hero.” “You say that because you have faith in me, but seeing their faces again and hearing them talk to me like that…It..I felt like a little girl again. I didn’t feel like this trained archer or skilled fighter. I felt like I did whenever they walked into my bedroom.” She’s shoving at you, hands coming up to grip her head and shoving her the heels of her hands into her eyes. It’s almost like she is trying to shove the images out of her mind, but no matter how hard she pushes it never works.
“Kate—“ You can’t even get a full sentence out, barely even her name, before she’s cutting you off.
Her eyes are wide, red rimmed and filled with hot angry tears that almost seem painful to stop. “I couldn’t even stop them! I couldn’t even raise a hand to them or beg for them to stop. It almost felt… like a relief. Normalcy almost leaking into my body and I hate myself for it. I don’t even think I cared that it happened again. All the shit I talked about how I was so angry about it, and that I would hit them even kill them now. What good did it do if I just let it happen? I..just let it happen.” Kate deflates in on herself, almost like someone poked a hole and her rage leaked out of her. Staring blankly at the wall, zoning out, the girl just sits there.
You gulp down your own emotions, a strong urge to puke or burn the entire world down. It isn’t what needs to happen and you know that you need to tread lightly, letting the archer talk as she needs.
She doesn’t say anything, and when you open your mouth to try and fill the air nothing comes out. Instead you sit there, both of you, the sound of beeping the only thing that could be heard. It wasn’t awkward, or tense, but it made you want to cry either way. Her heavy head falling onto your shoulder, comforts the both of you, as thoughts fill the air.
“I want to forget it or at least act like it didn’t happen.” Her voice is small, hesitant and a little strained as she tries to understand her own emotions.
You immediately want to shut it down, knowing that she’s just going to internalize this again and it will ruin her mind. Trying to be gentle about your worries, you rub your thumb over her covered arm and try to look into her eyes. “Kate..is that really the best thing?”
She refuses to meet your gaze, shrugging a bit helplessly. “No. I know it isn’t but that’s the issue. It’s not the best thing, but it’s the thing that will get me to survive this. I don’t want to break right now. I don’t ever want to break but I think my mind needs a minute to deal with everything by itself. I need a minute to not let this ruin everything. The world is bigger than those two, especially now.”
Your heart stutters, dropping into your stomach. Nothing you did that day you regret, and you’re actually deep down proud of what you did to them, but taking lives isn’t something you ever thought you would have done. You did what you needed to, and you know that if you hadn’t that Peter would be dead right now. You aren’t sure what all would have happened to your girlfriend, but you didn’t want to think about that right now. Nodding, you leave a gentle kiss on her forehead.
Her ocean eyes, filled with violent whirlpools and crashing waves, finally meet yours. “Please, just do this for me. Just for now. I’ll think about it, work on it, when everything feels less crumbly.”
Finally you force a smile, cringing internally when she gives you a look. “Okay. I promise. Once everything else feels less crumbly, then we will work on this. We will work at your pace and I will make sure that everyone else does, as long as you can promise the same for me.”
You see her go to argue that, but immediately snaps her jaw closed. Kate sighs and just nods her head slowly, “Fine we both agree.” A beat of silence before she’s pushing herself up. “Can..we talk about the other thing, so that we can think of something else. Something that maybe we can fix.” After you give her a look to continue she shakes her body as she tries to get her thoughts into order.
The archer is glaring at the white blankets, rolling the scratchy plastic band around her wrist. “First…I don’t want to tell them what happened exactly. Natasha already reacted badly to the first time, I don’t want to cause anything else to happen like that. I don’t want to break the dynamic any more.”
“Baby, I don’t think that is on you or your story. I think something else is going on, with both of them.” She gives you a curious look, but it just leaves you shrugging. “Honestly, I’m not sure. They haven’t told me anything either and it’s getting really frustrating.”
“So, how do we fix it?” Kate’s voice is small and it makes you practically growl, annoyance and anger building in your body.
“I’ll deal with it. I think I know how to get them to break.” She looks at you, wanting to complain that she doesn’t want you to do it alone but the look of determination on your face is a sign that you weren’t going to back down.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“We can’t keep fighting.” The two were sitting across from each other, staring one another down as they met up to try and figure out how to fix the situation that they found themselves in. Natasha was unable to mask her anxiety, almost immediately trying to talk her partner out of fighting.
A sharp nod, and a slightly sarcastic eye roll, confirms Wanda’s agreement. “Finally something we agree on.”
The ginger is so frantic that she doesn’t even call the younger girl out on her attitude. “I’ve never seen her like that. Ever. Not even when we were leaving.”
“Can we stop talking around what we need to do, please Natialia. It’s exhausting and at this point we’re both on the verge of losing everything. It’s been days, we can’t keep pushing everything off. Not everything is going to wait until you’re ready.” The Sokovian pinches her nose, trying to fight off the pending headache as she thinks about the next fight that she would endure.
Sneering, Nat barely jabs back before deciding that it isn’t worth it right now to continue. “Sorry, your majesty. What exactly is it that you think we need to do? At this point I think we’ve gone past casually talking about it, haven’t we?”
It’s almost like Wanda gives up, hands flopping uselessly to her sides as she just pleadingly looks at the other woman. “Why are you so angry? What about this entire thing is making you angry? Hmm? I just wanted you to let Kate in, that’s it. She opened up to us for the first time and you shut down. I understand you were scared of your reaction but Nat… you just have to deal with that.”
“I’m angry at those guys. I’m angry at the fact that for four years that giggly silly girl was crushed every single day, her innocence and happiness ripped away from her like it was nothing. I’m angry because..I broke my own rules and now I have to deal with the aftermath.” The widow is gaping at Wanda as if she’s surprised she isn’t reacting this way. She doesn’t really understand how someone can act so calmly when it comes to the situation.
The brunette pushes the subject just a bit more, nervous that the more she broaches the topic the faster the other one will shut down. “You don’t know it’ll turn out badly. Why are you thinking negatively? It’s just causing more issues.”
“Are you not? If you didn’t have a bad feeling about everything, then why are you still hiding? When are you going to tell your precious detka how you truly feel?” Natasha laughs, a mocking sassy sound as she lets her eyes slip closed. She knew that Wanda was terrified but she was tired of being told that she was the only one scared of the outcome.
“What does that mean?” Your quiet voice breaks the quiet sounds of the ginger’s laugh dying out, and it causes the two to spin around to look at you with doe eyed looks.
“Oh, Makyshka. When did you get here?” The two share a panicked look, a dash of shame and guilt.
Rubbing at your arms, you try to recoil into yourself as you realize that you were being impolite by listening to a conversation that you know was not meant for you. “I heard Daddy yelling, I’m sorry for eavesdropping but I just.. Please tell me what’s going on.”
“Девочка, please..” Natasha tries to plead with you, but you’re past listening and being a quiet thing.
You know she’s shocked when you interrupt her, but you have to keep your confidence and push on. “No, you guys always say that you’ll tell me when you’re ready but I’m ready. Doesn’t that matter? It’s been months like this. Months of tense situations that I don’t know how to defuse.” You know that you’re being unfair as you stare at them with your best pleading eyes, your body almost bending in on itself as you can feel the urge to kneel for them; your posture training pushing you into the best place to beg for something.
Wanda speaks up, trying to ease your tension and your anxiety. She knew that it was getting frustrating, and that with everything going on you have been getting more impatient than ever. “Of course it matters Little One, we’re just trying to figure out our thoughts and feelings. We just want to be able to come to you when it’s all figured out.”
“No. Okay. No. Delta, Red.” The two words feel foreign falling from your lips, something that you never took lightly. You knew that the two of them hadn’t heard you hard safe word in years, the three of you truly melding together so well that slowing down and having amazing aftercare helped any situation that any of you felt unsure about.
The two freeze, the words sinking in as they stare at you. You haven’t used your safe word recently, especially not in a situation like this. This isn’t the normal break in conversation, but instead it’s tense and it’s almost like you paused a movie right at the climax.
You’re shaking your head, jaw tense as you try to gather your emotions. This isn’t something you think you should go into irrationally, but it’s hard to keep control of everything when you don’t even know what you’re trying to control. “I can’t keep doing this on your schedule. Okay? This isn’t something that can just take a year or more. It’s tearing us apart and I can’t be the one that saves us, so talk. Talk or I’m walking out of here because I can’t handle this, and for once it’s going to be me who needs that break.”
The silence screams out between the three of them, and you can feel your heart start racing. You never actually wanted to walk out, never wanted to take a break but you would if you had to. The stress of this situation, becoming the keeper of the dynamic, was all too much for you and you needed a solution. Leaving wasn’t your first choice but it was an option, and you would take it if you had to.
It’s Natasha who speaks up, finally breaking the silence after what seems like an hour. You can tell she’s hesitant, and trying to prompt the witch into saying something but you no longer cared to be patient. “It’s complicated, detka, and we don’t want to say anything that we would regret. The situation can be really sensitive if we do things too early, or put things into existence that maybe we don’t actually feel. We just want to understand the things going on in our head before we start putting id–”
“I love you Мой красивый ангел.”
You freeze, watching the ginger’s eyes widen before both of you slowly turn to Wanda. The witch is staring determinedly at the floor, tugging at a stray string on the blanket. Her emerald eyes are distant, almost foggy as she avoids the two of you. It’s the first time that you’ve seen her like this, even the day that she left for her mission she wasn’t this nervous. It was more sad, and maybe a little panic the night before but nothing like this.
Natasha gulps and for the first time in years the older widow sees the eighteen year old that sat in the back of the quinjet after the fight in Sokovia. The widow remembers it distinctly, watching the young girl protectively sit next to her brother’s body the entire flight to America. Steve had wanted to at the very least put him below deck so that she didn’t have to stare at him, unconcerned about anyone but Wanda’s feelings, but the young girl had growled out a sob every time anyone else even got close to him.
It had been years since the witch showed such vulnerability, the mask she came to love left her stoic and in charge. She had felt lost and completely spiraling after her brother’s passing, and she had vowed to never be that again. While it was a fight for a bit, Wanda had quickly mastered that and no one ever saw her truly and transparently real.
“I..I know you do..you always tell me th–” You were cut up, but it was probably for the better. The ability to form sentences was hard as your brain began to short circuit, really not understanding what was going on.
Wanda sighs, fingers wiggling before she forms a fist. She’s trying to dig her nails into her palm, to calm herself as she prepares for rejection. “No, I love you. I’m in love with you. I think I have been for a really long time now and just ignored it because that’s not what you needed from me. It isn’t even what you need from me now, but after a year away from you my ability to hide it got worse. I know that you are with Kate, and I know that you two are dating but I just don’t think I can hide it effectively from you anymore. I don’t want this to change anything but if you’re not comfortable with this anymore then we can deal with that, find a solution even if that means me leaving.”
Nodding, you take your time to absorb the information you just learned. It wasn’t something that necessarily surprised you. You had always dreamed of this day, a thing that you always thought was just slightly out of reach. The idea of someone like Wanda being in love with you was insane to you, this all powerful witch wanting to love a struggling college student. Unsure of what to say, you decide against saying anything. Instead you walk over to her on shaky legs, vision blurry and reach out to her. Taking her hand you lay it against your ribcage, the mark blazing beneath her touch. Uncertain forest eyes raise to meet yours, and your heart cracks a bit at the tears building. The bright red rim almost like a dam wall, refusing to break and let the flood of tears flow.
What you don’t see is Natasha, awkward at her core, looking away so she doesn’t intrude. She lets her gaze settle on a few bunnies outside, playing before a flash of dark purple catches in her peripheral vision. There in the doorway stands a frozen, wide eyed Kate in a baggy sweat suit and bandages all over. A small twitch of the widow’s finger and the archer is silently crossing the room, just barely interrupting the scene in front of her before settling next to the ginger.
It takes a moment, even after the archer enters the room, for the two of you to finally break apart. Your eyes immediately search for the only deep water that you find solace in, a fleeting moment between you all you need to comfortably dig yourself into Wanda’s side. Stretching out to get comfy, your feet end up in Kate’s lap and it almost feels like once again you are the bridge but it doesn’t feel horrible for the moment.
The four of you sit in silence, all of you thinking and looking around avoiding gazes. It’s a beautiful day, a light snow is coming down even though it’s well into spring at this point. Irony in the weather matches the feeling inside the room.
Kate is squirming as she finally breaks the silence, awkwardly spilling out her words quickly. “I’m sorry that I had to be saved last week. I shouldn’t have frozen like that. I could have taken them both out without any help, and I shouldn’t have gotten so cocky and vengeful.”
The archer’s apology hangs in the air for a moment, an unspoken conversation happening between the older women before Wanda steps up and tries to calm the younger Avenger’s fears. “Malý kríženec, that wasn’t your fault. We’ve all had moments like that. I know it isn’t something that you want to hear, but as heroes we are in theory going to lose many more times than others. It’s about how we get back up and put ourselves back into the game.”
Stubborn as usual, you watch your girlfriend shake her head aggressively. Refusing to believe it wasn’t her fault, she tries to argue the perfectly logical answer. “I caused issues and I know that, especially when I called Yelena. I don’t even know why I called her and I definitely didn’t know that she was going to go get back up, but it wasn’t my intention. I just panicked and I didn’t want to bother anyone, and she had told me she wasn’t doing anything. I think I just barely mumbled her name and the suit just took it upon itself to call her. I didn’t want her to bring anyone else, I promise.”
You have to finally sit up a little, interrupting her anxiety filled ramble. “Once again, I can handle myself. I think I did just fine.” You know they mean the best, but you need them to realize that you can fight and do what is needed when you are called upon.
Feeling Wanda physically sigh, before she’s tilting your head up to look at her. She has a forced smile on her face and you know that she’s trying to reign in her own emotions. “You did, but you’re our precious little thing and while we know you can tough it out with the best of us…we don’t want you to have to. “ The witch slowly moves your head to nod, a knowing look as she watches puff out your cheeks defiantly.
The clock ticking, as the four of you go quiet grates your nerves but you know that there is something else going on. You aren’t sure what but you know that the tension between Wanda and Natasha still isn’t gone.
“Can I ask…what I interrupted?” Your girlfriend’s voice is small, wary of overstepping.
You look at Wanda, letting her decide when she would tell Kate. She’s not even looking at you though, glaring at a light’s reflection on the ground. It’s almost like you can see each brick of the wall the brunette is building, a protective barrier as she attempts to guard herself from the inevitable.
It’s Natasha clearing her throat that makes the witch’s head snap up, glaring at the redhead. The assassin raises her eyebrow, a challenge between the two. You are looking out the window naively at the point, having grown bored of the silence.
“This isn’t something that I want to cause any changes between us, and at the end of the day nothing has to happen.” Everyone’s eyes shift to look at the witch, but hers are shut as she keeps her head down. “I know that technically we opened our dynamic to you, not the other way around, and that it doesn’t mean you are open to anything else. I just…”
You can almost see the chaos sparking off of her as she starts panicking, and you can see Kate sit up straighter. It’s the first time in a very long time that she’s starting to lose control, and you know that you have to do something, to settle the emotions within her. It’s simple, your hand on hers, but effective as her muscles start to relax. Everyone else in the room almost breathes a sigh of relief but not you, breath stuck in your throat as you wait for the witch to say what she needed to in front of the archer.
It takes a few minutes for her to start speaking again, but when she does it’s rushed and the accent that she works so hard to conceal comes back in full force. “I love hračka. It isn’t the normal love that I think everyone always thought I had for them, but I’m in love with them. I know your relationship isn’t technically open, and I’m sorry that this is a thing that is even happening. I know that I broke multiple boundaries and at this point it is completely up to you two what you want.”
Finally Wanda looks up, eye flickering between the two of you but ultimately lands on Kate. The archer almost zones out, a blank look on her face before she starts laughing. It’s light and it makes you roll your eyes, the girl can only stay serious for so long. “Wanda, I know.”
The look of bewilderment on the witch’s face makes the rest of you break out in laughter as well, she’s stuttering and just speechless. “Look, you can’t look at someone like you look at them and not be in love with them.” Kate finally stops laughing, a soft smile on her face as she reaches out to poke playfully at the witch. “I for a long time would watch the way you talk to her, and look at her and think you were absolutely nuts for not falling in love. I thought it was absolutely insane that you hadn’t tried to become something more because I could tell almost from the beginning that you felt more than just ownership over them. When you look at them, I see what I feel and I knew that that could be dangerous. I knew that maybe when you figured out your feelings that it could mean the downfall of our relationship, but I don’t think that it has to.”
The two of them stare at each as the younger brunette’s voice dies out. You aren’t sure what the two are waiting for, and for once you aren’t sure how to help. Thankfully Wanda breaks the silence quickly, a soft smile on her face as she reaches out to cup the archer’s cheek.
Her thumb is rubbing along the blush that has made its way to her cheeks, “I want you to take some time kríženec. Now that I’ve said it, mull over it. Think about it, both of you. Talk about it, and see where you both would be comfortable. We’ll go from there okay?” She waits for both of you to nod before she settles back into her seat again.
Blinking and watching as Kate giggles to herself a little, you finally bring up the next topic. “Is…that all you guys wanted to talk about?” You can’t help the apprehension in your voice, noticing how tense Nat is in the corner.
A pointed cough shakes you as Wanda glares at the ginger, who just sighs and deverts her eyes. “Kate, I want to talk about everything.”
“...Everything?” The young brunette has wide eyes, her mouth slightly hanging open as she just stares at the older woman.
Natasha nods slowly, trying to roll her shoulders and prepare herself for everything that she needs to say. “I’ve been..dancing around this for months and I know that it’s caused a lot of issues but I want to say that it had nothing to do with you.”
Wanda can’t help the scoff that leaves her mouth, a fleeting interruption. “Okay.”
Deciding to ignore the jab, the widow carries on. “I get it, that’s something a lot of people say and don’t mean but I mean it. I’ve been struggling a lot with my own emotions far before you were brave enough and strong enough to open up to Wanda and myself. I took that frustration out on you and that wasn’t fair. Seeing a weakness I thought that it was an easy way out, and honestly it might be one of the worst things I’ve ever done in my life.”
You can already see the tears building up in the ocean eyes from where you are curled up, muscles tensing as you prepare yourself to comfort her.
“I was mad. Mad that someone could get away with that with no real punishment. I was mad that someone touched you like that and I couldn’t do anything about it. I even tried but I knew that it wasn’t something I had the right to do without you telling me that you wanted me to, so I stopped. I just think I was so focused on the anger side that I forgot that there were other things that mattered.” Her hand halfway raises, almost reaching out to touch the archer before it falls back into her lap. “I let the easiest of emotions run rampant and then I tried to fix it with ridiculous Christmas gifts. That honestly was one of the worst things I’ve done, treating you like a little kid who doesn’t understand what I was doing or someone that could be swayed with shiny new things. I know you’re more than that. You mean more than that to me.”
Kate’s breath hitches, warmth running through her as the person that she’s been the most afraid of for the past few months finally comes to light. She had begun to truly believe that she had messed everything up, and made the ginger disgusted with her.
“I just want to apologize. I’m sorry. I know that those words mean nothing at the end of the day, but I will work on it. I will do whatever it takes for you to build that trust and belief in me again.”
It almost feels weird as you watch the two talk this way. While they were always together for training, both in the dynamic and for the Avengers, this was different. Emotions were always a different type of feeling when scenes and headspaces were talked about, or even when you were just spending time getting to know each other. The way they were right now felt intense, but almost like it was missing something.
The ginger is quick to clarify everything, her words are rushed and you’re surprised that she hasn’t switched languages yet. “I’m not asking for your forgiveness, but I will work for it. I will show you everything I have, and everything I bring for you, only then will I accept you saying that I deserve for you to accept my apology.”
Kate is opening and closing her mouth, a slow but steady stream of tears running down her face. She’s laughing at herself, rolling her eyes at her inability to speak. You can see her frustration and anger at herself, the girl never liking when her emotions controlled her entire body. She hated losing control, a thing that only happened in a safe space.
“You don’t have to talk, дворняга.” Wanda’s voice makes the archer’s head snap over to her. “If you aren’t ready to talk yet, that’s okay. It’s all about your own timing.” The older brunette’s words calm your girlfriend down almost immediately, and you can see her start to relax in her spot.
Natasha’s head is nodding furiously, agreeing with the witch. “Yes, please take your time. I took mine and I shouldn’t have. You more than deserve to take as much time as you need to figure out everything, and even more to decide if you want to forgive me.”
The CEO slowly nods her head, pulling her legs up onto her seat so that she can comfortably sit. Her silence effectively ends the conversation, and slowly over the next few hours the four of you go your separate ways. It’s soft and has the illusion of normal, as you kiss each other goodbye mumbling out what time you would be home and where you were going. Responsibilities never end, even as your world was working to build itself back up, and that was something that may have just actually saved the four of you more than you would realize.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wanda pulls away, a concerned look on her face but Kate just shakes her head and pulls her back. There’s no pleading, and no power, just a kiss to confirm that the younger girl wants this. It’s been a little bit since the four of you were together as a full group, and you knew that the archer had been working back up to this. Personally you thought it was too soon, the same concern echoed the first time she had begged you to touch her just days after everything, barely three months after everything but she just wanted to feel something else. You couldn’t fight her, wanting her to have anything that would help her feel comfortable and safe; anything to quiet the screaming voices in her head.
Sitting between Natasha’s legs as you watch, your body leaning fully on hers as her mouth works against your neck. You are more worried about Kate though, eyes glued to her form watching for any sign of discomfort. “Toy, she came to us. If she wants this, and she did pass all three of our tests then maybe it’s time to let her do what she wants? The doctors medically cleared her.” The ginger’s voice is soft, spoken against the back of your neck.
You want to agree, want to let your mind go blank and listen to her as you always do but you can’t. Unknown knowledge lingers in your mind and it skews your opinion drastically, but you nod anyway.
The archer is kneeling, a thing that takes you by surprise for a moment, but a soft smile pulls at your lips when you see Wanda slip to her knees in front of her. You can’t quite hear what she says as she leans her forehead against the younger girl’s, waiting until she physically nods to let her magic wrap around her throat. A bright scarlet collar appearing as the mist fades out, a gold accented leash dangling from the D-Ring.
Sharp nails scratching down your torso pull your attention back to the ginger, a faint stinging pain on your neck where you know her bite mark is prominent. “You ready to play девочка?” Her question is rhetorical at this point as the chaos that your crave engulfs your body and lifts you into the air, it’s moving you around and stripping you. A sense of roughness even in the gentle nature of the day, it’s nice and it’s exactly what you needed to start feeling the fog fill your brain.
When your knees hit the wooden floor, slight sting makes you flinch, fingers almost immediately tangle in your hair. Pushing you downwards, your face coming to rest against the legs and your ass in the air. Wriggling excitedly, you can’t help but realize what’s happening. It’s a moment that you wished would come, and even with your reservations, this was the best of every scenario you could have thought of. You wait, with bated breath, for permission and when the fingers leave your hair with a sharp snap you rush forward.
Lips immediately trailing along the legs, forehead affectionately rubbing when you need to breathe. You can hear movement around you, two people prepping and finding different things but all you cared about is how Kate’s quiet whimpers when you kiss along her thighs. Worshiping your girlfriend was always something you wanted to do, spend time just kissing and loving all over her, but even the most cocky of archers struggle with such attention.
Hands on your hips make you jump, whining as they pull you back a little. You try to push your face forward, get your lips back onto smooth porcelain skin but you’re just out of reach. Natasha shushes you, pulling your body to mold against her. “I know you want to love your little mutt, but you have to pay attention to the rest of us, dove.”
Grinding back, you happily feel the bulge that you’ve been craving. A tap on your forehead makes you look up, permission to raise your gaze to see Wanda makes your breath catch in your throat. For the first time in five years you see scarlet instead of emerald and it sinks deeply into your soul, a look that you’ll lust after for the rest of your life. “Don’t you want to please Mommy, Little One?” Her voice is so sweet, dripping with honey as the magic swirls around the shining rings on her fingers. It’s mystical and you can’t look away, shaking your head slowly almost as if you were in a daze.
You can see her sadistic smirk, something that only shows up when she gets exactly what she wants from the trap she plants. Her thumb rubs along your bottom lip, watching as your eyes fog over and unfocus. Just as it did from the very beginning her voice, that name, is all it takes for you to slip under the warm mist in your brain; submerging comfortably knowing that everything will be alright.
Even as your head slips, emptying quickly under the ministrations of the witch, you hand flails at your side searching. When your fingers hit soft skin, digging into the flexing abs, you begin to calm down knowing that your girlfriend is at your side. Sucking on the thumb pushing past your lips, settles your brain even more and you know the worry that you had is disappearing as well.
The thing about soft moments like this is that you never really know how to react. Soft sex was common between you and Kate, the latter loving spending time spoiling you and just making sure you knew how much you were cherished. Natasha would sometimes be more gentle with you, but even then she was usually still throwing you around a good bit. Sweet times with Wanda were far and few in between, especially during sex. The witch preferred to take what she wanted, and give regardless of what you wanted. You knew that anytime things got too soft that the Sokovian would take a step back, usually to guide and watch instead but you weren’t sure if you wanted that today.
You’re being pulled backwards, the burn as your skin is dragged against the waxed wood pulls a pathetic whimper from your throat but no one seems to care. Natasha's arms wrap around you and you’re suddenly up right. Your back against your front, her strap lazily thrusting between your thighs is a tease. Even as the whine tears through your gritted teeth, your blurry vision on your girlfriend. She has Wanda pinned against the wall, the two making out and for the first time it’s almost as though there is no real power difference.
The two of them are desperately groping at once another, hands trailing along each other’s bodies as Kate’s mouth moves down the witch’s neck. You want to go and touch them, but the ginger’s grip on you keeps you in your spot. “Nuh uh pretty toy, you’re going to stay right here. Cockwarming me and watching your precious puppy fuck your mommy. Is that what you want to see?”
The way “Puppy” falls from the assassin’s lips makes you whine loudly, the effect immediately as you feel yourself clenching around nothing. The arousal spreads across your body like a wildfire, a burn so quick that it almost is too much. You weren’t quite aware of how wet you were before, more focused on trying to keep the peace and serenity but you were no match for any of your owners. Squirming in Natasha’s hold, you aren’t even sure what you are searching for right now.
Shushing you, the older woman pulls you back to fall into her lap, letting you mindlessly grind on her strap as she watches the other two. “Whenever you’re ready detka, you have all the power right now. Your Mommy is waiting for you to be filled until she tells the mutt to fuck her.” Her voice is soft, almost mumbled against your throat as she marks you even more.
Your eyes are glued to the way Kate’s hand moves between the witch’s thigh, her teeth sinking into her collarbone over and over again. Even if it looks like the archer is in control you can see the way Wanda moves with her, directing her where she wants her. The rings tangled in the raven hair dragging her head across her own body, tightening whenever she bites too hard. The scene in front of you is intoxicating and you almost feel delirious as you finally start sinking down on the strap being pushed into you, a high pitched whine clawing its way there your teeth.
The witch opens her eyes, the forest encased in night time as she watches your body stretch to take the ginger’s strap. Nodding she shoves Kate off of her, coming to kneel on the bed in front of you. She smiles, entirely too sweet, as she comes close to you. “Look at you, sweet little toy, all stretched out on your Daddy’s cock. I bet you feel so full right now, so wet dripping around her.” She barely makes a clicking sound, a quick indication to the young Avenger behind her. “Are you ready for your show, little one?” She barely waits for you to nod, the feeling of the archer rubbing her strap through her wet folds too enticing.
You’re all too distracted, watching Wanda’s lips move as she speaks to you. You want nothing more than to kiss her, but your eyes go wide when her mouth drops open. A breathy moan tumbling from her o shaped mouth, and your mind catches up when you see Kate thrusting behind her. Struggling in Natasha’s lap, you want to push forward and kiss her but the ginger tightens her hold on you. “Nuh uh, you get to sit there and leak all over my strap while your Mommy gets fucked. Isn’t she so pretty, why don’t you open those legs a little bit and give her something to look at while your Mutt does all the work?”
The way your mind swims should be enough for you to realize that you were too far gone to remember any of this later, but you were practically praying to any deity that would listen to let you dream about it every night. Watching how the archer ruts into the witch is making you drool, the coil in your stomach starts tightening each time you subconsciously clench around the strap stuffed inside you. Natasha is forcing your legs open, rose flush rushing up your neck at how exposed you are.
Wanda’s voice is strong, though it cracks with each rough thrust from Kate. “Look at your pretty little cunt, all puffy and stretched around your Daddy’s cock.” Even as her eyes start to roll, a detail that Natasha takes note of irritably, the witch exudes haughtiness. A trait that you derisively find sexy, something that on most people you hate.
Her moans are getting louder and with a shaky hand Wanda reaches out to you, swiping her thumb over your neglected clit she chuckles at how your hips jump. Dipping her finger into the wetness coating your thigh, she sucks it into her mouth and dramatically moans. It shouldn’t make you whine, but you can’t help yourself. You want to be the one who is sucking on her fingers, but when she reaches down to tilt your head up you wiggle excitedly. Wanda’s lips barely graze yours when her forehead falls forward, bonking into yours as her body tenses.
Kate’s giggles, a sound too high pitched and almost innocent, as she watches the witch tighten around her and her wetness gush. She’s made the older brunette cum before but this, this way has given her so much confidence and she can watch as her entire back arches.
By the time the archer pulls out of Wanda, scrambling to clean up so that she can continue, you’re squirming and begging Natasha to touch you. The ginger is almost bored, scrolling through her phone as Wanda pulls herself up to sit against the headboard of the bed. She’s slipping her legs open, a smirk tugging at her lips when she sees she’s caught your attention again. “I know you want to taste, little one, but you haven’t earned it yet.”
Kate comes into your view, blocking where the witch is, but your mouth drops open instinctively as her strap slaps against your cheek. She hums and lets you suck on it as you want, “You’re so pretty baby, filled and still so desperate for cock. Maybe you should beg your Daddy to make you cum, think you can do that?”
Her voice is so sweet, and light, a taunting tone following up and making you nod as you stare up at her. Tangling her fingers in your hair, pushing you forward just enough for you to gag before letting you go. “Cmon chew toy, I don’t hear you asking for anything.” The more she slowly thrusts into your mouth, the more the muffled begging gets lost and it makes all three of them laugh at you.
Taking pity on you, Natasha drops her phone and finally grips your hips with both hands. Starting to move you, bouncing slowly, the ginger meets each movement with a small snap of her own hips. Already struggling to move, she rolls her eyes knowing that you were entirely too worked up for teasing or edging. “You know, I thought this was going to be a nice long little session toy but you’re already tight and dripping all over me. Making such a big mess for someone who wants to be used all night long.”
Your pathetic whining just makes both the assassin and the archer snort at you, and you’re trying to shake your head. You don’t want to cum so quickly, the coil in your stomach is tight and the arousal is overloading your brain. This wasn’t what you were trained for, you could handle teasing and could go for hours. Your brain is too foggy and you just mumble around the strap fucking your throat, eyes fluttering shut as you try to ward off the orgasm that is rapidly being shoved your way.
Each time the ginger snaps her hips into yours, you can feel yourself being pushed closer and closer to the edge but it isn’t her movements that make you lose control. Years of training and practice have caused you to be prideful in how well you could take whatever the two oldest women give you, but when Kate pulls out of your mouth to kneel in front of you something changes. The butterflies in your stomach start flying, fluttering around, as she reaches to wrap her hand around your throat. It’s tight and warm, but grounding as she pulls your face forward just enough to kiss you softly. A whispered declaration of love melting against your lips, and that’s all it takes for you to tumble over the edge clumsily; every ounce of control obliterated.
You’re being laid out on the bed by the time you open your eyes again, the fog in your mind trying to to drag you back under. Wanda leans over you, a gentle smile on her face as she cups your cheek. “Did your puppy’s pretty words get to you, Мой красивый ангел?” She chuckles as she watches you nod, slapping your cheek gently to wake you up. “Stay awake a bit longer, little one. We aren’t quite done with you yet.” She pushes your chin so that you look over to where Natasha is straddling Kate, grinding on her thigh as the archer sucks on her neck.
Whining you try to get up but scarlet mist wraps around you and drags you back, you settle your body into hers. A comfort that sinks deep into your bones as she wraps her arms around you, her head falling to your shoulder as she watches the two with you. “Our Pup has just too much energy, my toy, we gotta give her some toys to play with huh?”
Hearing the sentence, something you had wished to hear for over a year now causes your entire body to turn a faint maroon color. It’s dark as it spreads across your torso and Wanda leaves a gentle kiss on your shoulder, a loving smile spreading across her face. Everything isn’t okay in the world, and maybe it never would be, but right now this is what you begged for every single night. It’s different, and it makes your mind swirl more aggressively than you ever felt. “I’m pretty glad you brought her home to us, the best puppy that we could have ever even dreamt of my little one. Thank you.”
You know the night is nowhere near the end, but watching as the ginger and the archer roll around is something you would pause the entire world for. Giggles as the assassin calms down from her high, you see the two come together. Closing your eyes, you let the warmth of the witch pull you back under your fog. The worries of any issues would be for another day, instead you focus on the happiness of all your favorite people being truly home for the first time.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shivers rack your body as you curl up in on yourself more, wrapping the blanket tighter around your shoulders. The cold is almost leaking from the window you’re sitting next to, thin glass the only thing separating you and the piles of pillowy snow. It’s almost like winter is staying around just because of everything happening, and it makes you a bit sad. Spring is about new beginnings but the four of you, even now, seem to be dragging your feet.
“Shouldn’t you be asleep right now, silly girl?” Kate’s hand nudges you as she finishes slipping a hoodie on, her voice soft and sleep filled.
Even if you weren’t necessarily happy with how she is handling things, you can’t help how your eyes shine when you see her lazy smile. “I could say the same to you, weren’t you just snoring your life away not even ten minutes ago?” Your heart flutters when she rolls her eyes at you, pouting dramatically as she flops down and wraps her arms around you.
The silence settles on the two of you comfortably, curling around you as you two melt into each other. It’s an easy thing to do with her, get lost in thought when you are in the safety of one another.
Kate leaves a few kisses on your forehead before letting her own lean gently against your temple, a shaky but almost relieved breath soft against your cheek. “You know, the world seems so big right now.”
“For such a little pup?” It’s light and teasing, and your heart stutters when you see Kate bashfully turn her head.
You reach up, gently touching her chin to turn her head back towards you. Before you even get to say something, the archer leans over and steals a quick kiss. “I just…it feels real now? Not trying to say this entire thing felt fake or anything before but something changed tonight.”
Nodding along, you stay silent; emotion strangling you into submission. A violent storm brews within you, anxiety and fear trying to keep you under water. You hate this shaky feeling, thinking the worst of the worse but you can’t help it. The early morning wasn’t supposed to go like this, not when your girlfriend stumbled out of bed over to you, but instead you can’t help where your brain goes as per usual. The darkness always finds home within you and some days it’s harder to hide it than others, but you almost wish you could always hide it from the archer. She was too perfect, and you wanted to protect her from all the wicked gloom in the world; even if that meant from you.
Kate sighs, knowing that you’re falling into the hole in your head. Trying to pull you back, explain herself and somehow create a new beginning for everyone. “I know it isn’t going to fix everything, or whatever issues everyone has, but it sort of feels like it’s at least all out on the table. Doesn’t it?” Ocean eyes raise to meet yours, hopeful and it crushes you to not agree. “What…what’s wrong?”
“Something still feels off, something they aren’t telling us. Maybe it’s me and I’m just overthinking, but for whatever reason I feel like…” You pause, nervous to voice your absurd thoughts but when the archer’s calloused thumb rubs along your shin you take a deep breath. “I’m here for foundation, and glue, but what now? I’m thrilled that my favorite people are at least open to get along, and to learning each other in a better way but what happens when my primary job isn’t needed anymore?”
You hate how young you sound, barely even being able to put together an intelligent sentence. The women around you could say the biggest words, most professional sounding things even when their anger blinds them but you could barely say your own emotions without feeling like crying.
The brunette blinks at you, processing your words slowly. Her gaze wanders back out the window as she takes her time to think her next words through. “I never looked at you like the foundation. I may have leaned on you a bit, and maybe even hid behind you during some really emotional moments but I never wanted to put you in a situation like that. If I did, I deeply apologize. I would never want to do that to you, and thinking about it I can see times when I might have pushed how much I leaned on you. Making you become the center of the world, a have all or have none situation was not my intent. I will work on changing that, truly. I want you to know that growing and becoming what you need is all I care about, if that means I’m not what anyone else wants then I’ll learn to live with that.” Even when the girl tries to put her deepest thoughts into a well put together speech, she still somehow rambles and she knows it from the slight rose color making its way up her neck.
The need to interrupt Kate is strong, guilt as you realize you pushed your insecurities on her. She never really made you feel like that, at least not a distinct moment. These feelings mostly are just in your head, but you’re struggling to breath and all you can do is nod. The thoughts in your head were fear, fear of losing Kate and the relationship you built because of a dynamic that you were the foundation for.
She reaches up, a sullen sigh falling from her lips when you flinch, but it doesn’t deter her from gently turning your head. The knowing look in her eyes makes your own fill with tears. “I know you’re in your head, baby, but I love you. We’re two different people and we are trying to merge lives, but I will do anything and everything I can to make sure that your time with me isn’t too stressful. I aim to be a place of happiness and warmth for you, a place where you feel at home and safe. I want to be a place for you to rest, not a place for your brain to be overactive and horrible to you. I understand that I can’t prevent everything, nor can I shield you from life but what I can do is choose you every single day. Each moment that I am awake or asleep, busy or lounging, you are the one I pick. Sweet thing, everything about you is all I need and want. I will choose you, and your happiness, over everything. I love you now, then and forever….”
You know she’s waiting for you to finish what she said, a tradition that started over a year ago, but something stops you. It’s almost like she knew that nothing you actually said out loud was the issue, seeing right past forcing your issues onto her and instead seeing the real fear underneath it all. The last pet name she used is one that you know she only uses in special moments, a thing that strikes deeper into your heart more than anything else. Staring up at her, you can’t even think of a response; at least not one worthy of her speech. This girl has truly changed your life, and you don’t care if your entire life is ruined as long as she is there. You know with her that the two of you will always find a way out of whatever issue you may find yourselves in.
Tugging her forward, you practically sob into the kiss. Her lips molding against yours, taking over quickly when you can barely focus. It doesn’t last long, when she realizes you’ve fallen into giggling. Kate rolls her eyes good-naturedly, waiting for the inevitable. You wish you weren’t so predictable but your girlfriend doesn’t even flinch when your teeth sink into her shoulder.
“I love you, pup.”
