a/n: i want to thank the oh so lovely @meowmeowtimw for sending me their gorgeous art, and also everyone who anticipated this fic. thank you so much for the love. also, first time doing a taglist, but let me know if you’d like to be added!

this is going to be done in parts bc my tumblr glitches and i dont want to lose any writing and delay this anymore! i have changed it up a bit from the movie to attempt to fit ellie as a character and not feel like im writing out the script but all the iconic moments will be included

you’re not quite sure how she ended up here. knocked out and stuffed in your wardrobe.

earlier, it had just been you and pascal. your mother out fetching ingredients for dinner, your birthday dinner.

she’d shut down your hopes and dreams of seeing the lights you saw every year for your birthday. she called them stars, made you feel fragile and weak. left with a half hearted goodbye.

thats when the girl showed up.

short auburn hair, climbing the tower with arrows. before you knew it, she was passed out on the floor, a frying pan in your hands.

in her bag though, that was the interesting piece. something gold and shiny, crystals decorating the circle. too big to be a bracelet, too beautiful to be a magnifying glass.

you and pascal jumped as your mother called up the tower, a surprise apparently. when you tried bringing up the lights once more, she’d simply laughed, brushing it off. you tried again, but gave up when she yelled, asking for paints.

she left, leaving you alone again. until you weren’t.

a girl, in your window.

now in your chair, tied up with pascal on her shoulder. he licked her ear, once, twice, three times before she jolted awake with a yell.

“what the hell?”

you took a deep breath, still hiding in a shadow.

“struggling… struggling is pointless.”

she looked around, taking in what was holding her down. was it, hair?

“i know why you’re here, and im not afraid of you.” slowly, you stepped into her view. “who are you, and how did you find me?”

“am i wrapped in hair?” the girl gawked at you, struggling under the wraps. “who am i? who are you? this is insane. this is kidnapping, just so you know.”

your face dropped. “you broke in first.”

“and you knocked me out and tied me up! with hair! who even has this much hair?” she groaned as she struggled.

“so you dont know who i am?” you whispered as you stepped closer.

she looked at you incredulously, “are you joking? of course not. can you let me out now?” you nodded as you stopped in front of her.

only now did you really notice her. short auburn hair, tied up at the back. green eyes that matched yours. freckles lining her nose and cheeks. lips slightly cracked and parted.

“ill let you out, if you promise me one thing.” she rolled her eyes but nodded. “every year, on my birthday, there are these lights. my mother told me they were stars, but ive tracked the stars for years.” you turned away and pulled back the curtain to your most recent painting. “they’re floating lights, and you are going to take me to them.” she hesitated but you quickly jumped in. “and if you don’t, say goodbye to your satchel.”

she sighed and relaxed into the chair. “alright, fine.” she smiled as your eyes lit up and you ran to her. “ill take you. but, we’re going my way.” you nodded excitedly as you untangled her from your hair. “and, im ellie by the way.”

“rapunzel.”

she shook out her limbs before standing. “rapunzel? pretty.”

“so you’ve really never been outside the tower before?”

ellie walked slightly ahead with her hands in her pockets, a small smile on her face. she said she knew a place to stop on your way to the kingdom.

you nodded as you took in everything. “she said it was too dangerous for me out here. that id get eaten alive.”

ellie frowned a bit as you spoke. you were definitely a bit ditzy, but smart. you weren’t naive but you noticed the good in everything you’d seen.

“so,” you pulled up beside ellie, nearly bumping her. “how did you find me?”

“i didn’t actually intend to.” she said, looking at you. “i was running, from… some very bad people, and i stumbled apon a pass in the woods. totally by accident. and when i went through it, there it was. the tower.” she watched as you nodded. “i figured id just, go up. i wasnt really thinking someone might be there.”

“obviously.” you teased.

she rolled her eyes, “alright whatever. i just needed somewhere to wait everyone out. and then you came out of nowhere and tried to maim me.”

you gasped, hitting her arm as she laughed. “i thought you were gonna hurt me! what was i supposed to do?”

“okay, fair enough.” you walked in silence for awhile, side by side, hands grazing.

ellie couldn’t help but feel a pull to you. you were kind, and funny. she hadn’t known you very long, but she knew she wanted to know more. and she couldn’t deny your beauty.

she was knocked out of her thoughts as you pointed to a sign in the distance.

She is a badass mechanic who is also a cyborg and did not intend to get dragged into this mess. She becomes a fugitive of the law, running from the prince who is also her romantic interest and is just objectively the best.

I love a sarcastic character and I love a good confrontation scene and she's great with both

She's a mechanic she's the lunar princess she has two prosthetic limbs she's supposed to be dead. Her best friend is an android who's a fangirl of her boyfriend (Kai, the emperor). Her ball was actually her showing up to keep Kai from getting seduced by her aunt (who's queen of the moon) and then killed. Instead of losing her slipper she just lost her entire foot. (That's all just in the first book.)

look man, if you've read tlc you know why but if not: cinder here goes through a lot, from living in a shitty household to leading a rebellion and witnessing what's practically a massacre (TWICE), getting stabbed in the mc'freaking heart and surviving, being a wanted fugitive, Oh, and also, she loses her goddamn FOOT instead of a glass slipper lol (albeit the foot is a prosthetic, which i might've forgotten to add, her left arm and (i think) leg are metal due to getting BURNED as a toddler by her somewhat power hungry aunt)

She's SO cool she's a mechanic and really clever and also an amputee and her prosthetics are very cool and she has fun space adventures with her little gang of found family and is also the heir to the crown on the moon and is trying to get control of it from her aunt (who's a dictator) so she can help the moon people be less oppressed! tl;dr she's a girlboss

She literally got set on fire. Shes a cyborg. Shes such a girl boss that her love interest kept her severed prosthetic foot as a memento. She is a revolutionary [against her will] and a politician [also against her will]. Shes a skilled mechanic, and called the queen of a super-powerful alien race with the ability to manipulate people’s perceptions of reality ugly TO HER FACE. Queen does not give a shit and just wants to hang out with her robot bestie and her dork ass boyfriend who is also the leader of an entire country. Shes iconic, she is the moment.

Cyborg and mechanic is a fun new twist on classic Cinderella! (At least when I read it and it was new). Plus she’s got her Prince/Emperor all wrapped around her fingers before the ball!

cinder is a mixed cyborg mechanic who has acquired beef with both her stepmother (adopted) and her bio aunt (tyrant queen levanna) and manages to escape their attempts to keep her down (including arson when she was like. 3 years old) and ultimately overthrows her aunt in a revolution lead by her and the other fairytale retellings (red riding hood and wolf, rapunzel and her ‘prince’, and her cousin snow white and her prince) and establishes a democracy! i enjoyed the series growing up and i personally think that cinder is very cool :]

The first book in The Lunar Chronicles is a retelling of cinderella, and my gosh it’s amazing. Cinder is a cyborg and faces a lot of prejudice, and it’s interesting to see that even in the future, where the book is set, there’s still so much discrimination, and Cinder faces it so well. She’s smart and snarky, and has such character growth and cares so much and akhjfqwthbj

It's very common for Cinderella retelling that "girlboss" her end up sending the weird message that victims of abuse should simply stand up for themselves <3 I really like Cinder because she's spunky and snaps at her stepmother, but it doesn't. do her any good? One of the most iconic Cinderellas of all time, Brandy brought tenderness, earnestness, and heartfelt poignancy that transformed the story and emphasized its humanity and themes of dreaming for the future. Her voice is celestial! The power of her performance is undeniable! As a lifelong Cinderella fan she was always one of my favorites.

A lot of children grew up watching this movie around the holidays.

Fluffy Female Sephiroth Musings

It's difficult for Sephiroth to get used to the domestic lifestyle after abandoning SOLDIER, but with her darling at her side, she can manage it just fine. (Updated musings)

༻❁༺ Her darling had to forgive her for her tendency to openly carry Masamune around, even into inns and stores during their getaway.

༻❁༺ She came out of it the more comfortable she became with her darling.

༻❁༺ Sephiroth had a harder time than her male counterpart in expressing emotions, though she was more easily able to relax.

༻❁༺ Expect her to have far more adorably awkward moments with her darling.

༻❁༺ She had always wanted to dress up in silly costumes, but felt too embarrassed to actually do it until Darling showed up at their cottage home dressed like a shoddy chocobo, encouraging Sephiroth to join in on the fun for Halloween. She eventually matched her darling, wearing a shoddy Moogle costume.

༻❁༺ Sephiroth tied the rest of her silver, rapunzel-length hair into a dutch braid, while keeping her iconic bangs, to signify her shift into the domestic lifestyle.

༻❁༺ Given her tall, muscular, and curvy physique, it was pretty challenging to find clothes that suited her. Darling definitely had to take her to the village tailor to get clothing fitted.

༻❁༺ She always longed to become a mother to hers and darling's future children, though it also terrified her. What if she were to perish during the birth? What if she turned out to be a poor mother? She constantly doubted her ability to be a good parent.

༻❁༺ She stayed far, far away from the kitchen. When she last tried cooking, she practically set a whole town on fire attempting to make boxed mac and cheese.

༻❁༺ Generally, she despised unfamiliarity and attempting things which she couldn't immediately be a perfectionist at. She dreaded disappointing herself, and most importantly, disappointing her precious darling.

༻❁༺ Regardless, darling was always there to support her in her pursuits. They want her to always feel loved and accepted, even if she can't cook or fit in. They can define normality together in their own ways.

༻❁༺ Sephiroth still kept her cool and professional persona when it came to business. Unlike the male counterpart, she often missed sarcasm and innuendos until her darling whispered their meanings to her, causing her to lean on them to cover her reddened face.

༻❁༺ One day, her deep love for her darling overcame her fear of cooking. With help from the local villagers, she successfully baked a special dumbapple-flavored pie and set up a quiet picnic in the peaceful meadows at dusk.

༻❁༺The picnic was going great until darling decided to try the dumbapple pie that Sephiroth had made for her. Her anxiety skyrocketed as she waited for her darling's reaction to it.

༻❁༺ ...The pie was slightly overcooked and had too much sugar. The crust was doughy in certain places and for whatever there was a strange salty aftertaste. Nevertheless, it was still (somewhat) edible. Sephiroth's darling was overjoyed to devour it, appreciating not only the act of service but the fact she is overcoming her fears. And darling is glad that their cottage wasn't destroyed.

Torellia (Revan): One of those inflatable cowboy type costumes, but instead of a horse or dinosaur, it's a gizka! She is having the time of her life :3

Zena and Atton: Zena is Sophie, and Atton is Howl, both from the end of the film. This is mostly a reference to a piece of art I did of them a while back.

Anders and Felicity Hawke: Anders is Rapunzel, and Hawke is Flynn Rider specifically from the movie Tangled. Hawke explains why XD

Cassandra and Ben Finn: Cassandra is Hercules, and Ben Finn is Megara from Disney's Hercules. Cassandra goes from zero to Hero in her story, and well Ben's just there to be eye candy 🍬

Gale and Tavara: Gale is Princess Daisy, and Tavara is Princess Peach. Honestly I just thought it fit Gale pretty well to be Daisy. Tavar isn't even blonde, but she is kind of pink 🤷‍♀️

Marissa Trevelyan and Cullen: Marissa is a witch, and Cullen is her cat familiar. Well, as much as she can dress him up for anyway. And yes, I do have terrible taste in men, why do you ask?

Aria and Astarion: Aria is the Phantom of the Opera, and Astarion is Christine. Aria's a bard, and Astarion just looks fabulous 😂

Frederick Cousland and Leliana: Frederick is Leliana, and Leliana is Frederick. They are imitating some of their iconic voice lines. I heard Lel say "Allow me, I could do that for you" so many times that it's now ingrained in my mind lol.

William, Regina, and Cassie (Cassandra): William is the Beast, Regina is Belle, and Cassie is Gaston because she's a kid and thinks he's silly and fun...and because I didn't want to design an outfit based on an inanimate object 😭

Asher and Theresa: Asher is Gandalf, and Theresa is Galadriel. I thought it was fitting since they're both mirrored examples of prolonged lifespans and being visibly old and not visibly old.

Paloma Shepard and Garrus: Paloma is Sally, and Garrus is Jack Skellington. I will never draw a Turian ever again (she lied).

Just wondering, how would you rank the Dark Parables games from least favorite to most favorite?

Ooooo okay so these are going to be ranked by story, mechanics, designs and just how much I love them!

15. The Little Mermaid and the Purple Tide: I feel like this is not a surprise given my rants. Bad story. Bad mechanics.

14. The Thief and the Tinderbox: Again I feel like this isn't a surprise. Bad story. Bad continuity. Bad designs.... but! The mechanics were not bad.

13. Queen of Sands: it felt off in a way. Like it didn't belong in the series. Mechanics okay. Designs/art decent. Bad story.

12. Return of the Salt Princess: nothing wrong with the mechanics or designs or anything. I liked the story somewhat, it just overall isn't a favorite.

11. Portrait of the Stained Princess: it was alright, I liked the art and such. I just felt like it could have been more. Story wise, I mean. I don't know. It didn't engage me as much as others.

10. The Swan Princess and the Dire Tree: it's sad because I'm a sucker for swan princess things whether it be the Swan Lake ballet, the barbie movie or the Don bluth ones (only the first and second ones though) and I was excited for this game but it ultimately hadn't been something I expected but I did enjoy it a bit. Though again, continuity threw me off since there was barely any.

9. The Red Riding Hood Sisters: I do like this one, but not as much as others. I liked the concept, the designs, the mechanics, and the story somewhat. I just wish I could have been more engaged in it.

8. Exiled Prince: Look, I like it a lot, it is arguably one of the most iconic games in the series but the mechanics are what put it here. It had a wonderful story and everything it was just those mechanics that hung me up.

7. Curse of Briar Rose: another one I really love, but those mechanics just hurt. If they remade it it would definitely ranked higher.

6. The Match Girl's Lost Paradise: such a fun story!! It was so interesting and I really liked it and was very engaged!

5. Goldilocks and the Fallen Star: fun game! Engaging! Also, bonus for Jack, just not a top five fav.

4. Rise of the Snow Queen: Snow White is one of my favorite fairy tales, and the fact they merged it with the Snow Queen story had me elated! I loved it! I was so engaged!

3. Jack and the Sky Kingdom: Has some of my favorite characters of the series! Had an engaging storyline! The mechanics were great! And the puzzles were fun.

2. Ballad of Rapunzel: SO fun! So interesting! So much lore given, and I love lore! It was unique with its endings. Overall a very great game!

1. The Final Cinderella: I am biased. Very biased. Cinderella is my favorite fairy tale. I have so many different versions of it. I have watched everything Cinderella or so I'm convinced. The story was so fun and engaging and the art! Oh man the art! And I cared for all the characters!

idk how much disney movies u watch but…besides the literal disney movies/stories they are retold on, what disney movie(a) do you associate with each tlc ship?

Wolf and Scarlet - Ratatouille (Disney Pixar counts right?). I mean, hot-tempered French woman? Socially out-of-touch man desperate for her love and approval? C'mon!

Also Beauty and the Beast, but that's a given.

Cress and Thorne ARE Rapunzel and Eugene. I don't think there's any characters that better encapsulate them. But they also fit Ariel and Eric! A great singer, entranced by a world she can't reach, in love with a man she barely knows. He, drawn to her voice, loves setting sail on his 'ship', prefers adventure to responsibility.

Winter and Jacin sort of remind me of Giselle and Robert from Enchanted. Whimsical girl, no-nonsense pragmatic guy that loves her even with her bizarreness. Winter would break out into song. Jacin would not.

Cinder and Kai, ironically, are not that alike their Disney movie counterparts. BUT HAVE YOU SEEN CINDERELLA III A TWIST IN TIME? In this sequel, Prince Charming is sassy, oblivious and iconic, aka, Kai, Kai and Kai.

Cinder does have the awkward nature and determination of Mulan, and the long lost princess side of Mia from the Princess Diaries. But honestly, Cinder has such a specific personality, I don't know if there's a close match.

The Gilded Age's Broadway Divas: Caroline "Lina" Schermerhorn Astor (Donna Murphy)

A queen among her people, Mrs. Astor rules over New York high society, and spends the show being challenged by New Money Bertha Russell at every turn.

Two-time Tony winner Donna Murphy is one of Broadway's greatest Divas. Though most recognize her as the voice of Disney's Mother Gothel in Rapunzel, her voice is better known to me personally as one of my earliest gay awakenings for her audiobook performance of Ruby Holler, but that's a separate story. One of Sondheim's most beloved interpreters, Donna has such an expansive repertoire that limiting myself proved damn near impossible. Her Tonys for Best Actress in a Musical were in 1994 (Passion) and 1996 (The King and I) and I will forgive her for the later despite my documented hatred of that musical.

Other sumptuous performances include: The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Ensemble, later Drood), Wonderful Town (Ruth), Hello Dolly! (Bette Midler's Tuesday night alternative and superior performer in every way), and Encores! Dear World (my #1 theatre experience of 2023). With the later two, Donna is well on her way to achieving the Jerry Herman trifecta. Someone mount a production of Mame starring Donna Murphy as Mame.

#1: "Could I Leave You?" Follies - The Stephen Sondheim 80th Birthday Concert (2010)

Many a Diva has taken on this song, but no one can come close to the rapturous performance Donna Murphy gives during the iconic Ladies in Red segment of the Sondheim 80th birthday concert. This video right here is the reason I am the Sondheim woman that I am. There have been many women who have played Phyllis over the years, and I've fallen a little in love with all of them (Jan Maxwell, my beloved), but Donna is everything.

Surrounded by five other iconic Divas dressed in red, Donna shows that her acting choices whilst singing remain unmatched. The controlled start, the rapid devolution, the rage in that final word. And the strands of hair that will not stay out of her face. I am obsessed. The reactions of the other women (note Patti LuPone's glee and Marin Mazzie, dear friend and Passion co-star's bursting pride) say it all. The entire concert is one marvel after another. Do yourself a favor and watch it.

I consider this song one of Sondheim's greatest works (Send in the Clowns, eat your heart out...but also...Donna did that at the 90th birthday concert, so there's that too).

#2: "Hit Me With a Hot Note," a benefit for Fran Liebergall (2015) and What About Joan (2001)

I couldn't decide which version to post, so you get both. Congratulations. This song showcases Mrs. Astor's wild side as Donna delves into growls, shimmies, shakes, and belts. "Hit Me with a Hot Note" is a Duke Ellington song that appeared on Broadway in Jelly's Last Jam (which will receive an Encores! production this spring). I never thought a white woman could scat, but I'm not mad about it.

The first video is a concert benefit for Fran Liebergall in 2015. The second is from a short-lived tv series in the early 2000s where Donna plays Ruby Stern, a smart and staid doctor who has a dream of appearing on Broadway. Apparently, the producers of the show were totally unaware that two-time Tony winner for Leading Actress in a Musical Donna Murphy could sing. I'm just as shocked by that as you are.

#3: "Surabaya Johnny," LoveMusik (2007)

Mrs. Astor is one of many real-life historical figures on Donna Murphy's acting resume. Another real-life figure is that of Lotte Lenya, an Austrian-American actress and singer best known for her work/marriage with Kurt Weill. LoveMusik explores that relationship. Lotte Lenya had a distinctive voice, and here Donna transforms her own signature voice to match Lenya's.

LoveMusik received mixed reviews, but garnered four Tony nominations for Best Musical, and Best Leading Actors for Donna and for leading man Michael Cerveris, The Gilded Age's Mr. Watson.

Donna has truly perfected the way to break down during a song.

#4: "The Story of Lucy and Jessie," Follies (2007)

Prior to the Sondheim 80th, Donna played Phyllis Rogers Stone in the 2007 Encores! production of Follies (alongside Christine Baranski). This was considered her triumphant return to the New York stage following an unsteady attendance record in the early 2000s owing to a long battle with vocal hemorrhaging (running concurrently with multiple miscarriages). Her turn as the jaded former Follies girl was nothing short of sublime. In those days, Encores! concerts weren't remotely the fully choreographed shows they are now. Donna, who describes herself as a "singer who moves well," proves that in spades.

To my everlasting devastation, this clip omits the opening verse, but I think her legs more than make up for it. The little glove removal moment is a nod to an alternate number that has been used in place of this one depending on the production. For singers who are not as dance-capable, "Ah, But Underneath" offers up a sensational strip tease, and I, for one, would have liked to see that too, even if Lucy and Jessie is a better number.

#5: "Loving You," Passion (1994)

Though her riveting portrayal of a chronical ill woman who seduces a soldier in mid-19th century Italy earned Donna her first Tony, it was not a well-received show. Audiences disgusted by the obsessive and unattractive Fosca would cheer when she collapsed onstage every night. They couldn't fathom how Giorgio (Jere Shea) would leave his affair with the beautiful Clara (Marin Mazzie, who appears totally nude for the opening number) for a sicky woman like Fosca. Since then, like most Sondheim shows, we have come to appreciate the brilliance of the story, the score, and the actors with time.

Donna's immersion into this role is the stuff of Broadway legend. This song in particular, though simple in melody and lyrics, carries such deep emotion, and the way she sings as if every note pains her just ruins me. Her dramatic range cannot be praised enough. The entire proshot can be found HERE, and I cannot recommend it enough.

Founded in October of 1923 by Walt Disney, DISNEY animation studio has established itself very well in the film industry. From its first film “Snow white and the swan dwarfs” to today’s blockbuster Marvel hits, DISNEY has proved itself to be the best film maker and producer.

Movies by Disney often cover the concepts of good versus evil, being kind and humble, helping others, friendship in the most appealing way. The realistic animations match perfectly with the well-versed scripts. The production company is also the creator of the first produced sound cartoon Mickey Mouse, which further went on to become the official mascot of the company. 

Disney established itself well both, in the cinema and audiences’ hearts by producing “Snow white and the seven dwarfs”. It was highest grossing motion film of its time and bagged several accolades. The movie gives away a very beautiful message to young audience to be helpful and kind towards all and of course, be alert of strangers.

Disney, took it further in 1940 and released the evergreen Childrens’ movie and story tale: Pinocchio.it was premiered in New York on February 7th,1940 but has been revised and released again on media platforms in the subsequent years. Again, Disney Studios maintained their art of providing the children with the good lesson of not lying to anyone or anything or “Honesty is the best policy”. The story is adapted into books and is read and told widely across the globe to children. 

Since then, Disney has been home to numerous movies including global known movies such as Cinderella, Aladdin, The Parent Trap, Tinker Bell, The Princess and The Frog, Tangled to name a few. Iconic childhood show Winnie the Pooh also calls Disney home. 

Tangled set a milestone in Disney’s history as Rapunzel was the first 3-D animated film and as usual, well-acclaimed and cherished to this day by children and adults alike. Since then, Disney has constantly improved and delivered blockbuster hits including the Marvel Cinematic Universe. 

It would be certain to say the relationship between Disney and its audience is impeccable and can not be replaced. It doesn’t matter what your age is or however specific your genre is, there is a Disney movie to cater to that. It would be safe to conclude that, Disney will always touch us audience with its amazing cinematography.

Ooooooh that's a GOOD one. Jill would, without a doubt, dress up as her dad. Which would be really funny

Griffith and Riley would DOMINATE at Halloween. He can turn into a wolf, she can shift her physical features and whatnot-- they would KICK BUTT. Their costumes would vary from year to year, so it would depend on if they wanted their costumes to match. If they did.... either the White Witch and Maugrim, or some random but insanely iconic human duo. If they wore individual costumes, Griffith would very likely be the Darkling or Merrick the Monstrous from Race To The Bottom Of The Sea, and Riley would be either Raya from the Disney movie or a Star Wars character

Rebecca would be either Rapunzel or a book character no one else had heard of, like Princess Anidori-Kiladra Talianna Isilee. Oh or Sophie Hatter just because

Alyth and Anton would either go as Anne and Gilbert or as Yzma and Kronk

Standing in the grand hall of Belle's Enchanted Castle, I couldn't help but smile. Today, I had the honor of meeting some of the most iconic characters in the Disney Princess Universe. "Jaimie, you look stunning," Belle said, her brown eyes sparkling with kindness as she surveyed my Rapunzel cosplay. I twirled a strand of my long blonde hair, giving Belle a grateful smile. "Thank you so much," I replied. "I've always admired your dedication to learning and adventure." As we chatted, Cinderella joined us, her blue gown shimmering in the castle's warm light. “Hi Jaimie, it’s so lovely to see you again,” she greeted me warmly. “I see Rapunzel has come out to play today.” Cinderella laughed, and I felt a surge of pride in my cosplay choice. Just then, Jasmine and Ariel appeared. “Wow, Jaimie. You're certainly giving Rapunzel a run for her money with that hair,” Ariel teased, her red locks matching her fiery spirit. Jasmine nodded in agreement. “There’s just something about Rapunzel's free spirit that suits you,” she added, glancing at my flowing blonde hair. I took a moment to step back and marvel at the beauty of being at the Enchanted Castle with my beloved Disney Princesses. “I have to say, being here feels like a dream,” I confessed, my heart full. “I’ve always been inspired by each of you and it’s thrilling to bring Rapunzel to life.” Belle placed a gentle hand on my shoulder. “And you’re doing an incredible job at it. We’re so glad to have you here, sharing in the magic,” she said. We spent the rest of the afternoon exploring the castle’s hidden library and lush gardens. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect day than this, surrounded by the characters who inspired my love for cosplay and storytelling. As the sun set and I prepared to leave, I felt a deep sense of connection with each princess and the enchanting world they represented. I knew that cosplaying as Rapunzel wasn’t just about the costume. It was about embracing the essence of these timeless tales and the enduring spirit of adventure. For anyone who loves cosplaying or the Disney Princess Universe as much as I do, remember to bring a piece of that magic into everything you do. That’s the true essence of being a cosplayer like Jaimie Good.
