I visited Crete last month and with valleys like these it's easy to see why people told stories of gods spending their childhoods in the hills

I was watching "The Rape of Europa" on Amazon Prime and around the end of it I had this weird thought:
How come we never see anyone making art, trying to conserve art in the Fallout Games? I know it is not the point of those games but especually in a place like Diamond City why isn't there someone trying to just escape the desolation by making art? Seems to be what humans do.

The mythological figures that Kaos uses for its 3 mortals from the prophecy to take down Zeus thingy, are kinda random, Kaos really beats you over the head that the gods suck yet the characters chosen for this story don’t even make it to the top 10 mortals most screwed over by the gods at worst:
Caeneus was raped by Poseidon, that story isn’t adapted (understandable but still).
Eurydice was a goddess herself and the most screwed over she ever got was getting chased by Aristaeus god of bee keeping, that story is also not adapted.
Ariadne’s family is torn apart due to Poseidon taking revenge against Minos’s hubris, the show has a really weird take on this making Poseidon the Patron of Crete for some reason and coercing Minos into killing the Minotaur.
You’d think they’d use characters like Callisto, Hippolytus, Alcmene, Europa, Phaedra or even Pentheus but they don’t.
