raon 101 is all ages, 42 is teen-elder. comes in afterglow naturals and raon 42 comes in their original recolors :)

Enough about pillowfort for a moment though, have a hair insted. This is Raon Sims 3 Malehair8, why Raon felt like it would be great idea to restart numbering with their Sims 3 hairs is a mystery to me but they sure did it anyway. I believe nobody else ever converted this hair before now (and if I’m wrong, apologies)

Info:

for both genders, toddler-elder

polycount is ~8800 so actually pretty low on nowadays standards

texture is Raon’s original with Io+Kijiko texture blended over it to make it less shiny (included in the zip are the original white texture, that texture turned volatile and the texture I actually used on this in case those would be any help for anyone wanting to retexture it, the mapping is awful though so this is your official warning about that.)

Looked on paysitesmustbedestroyed and tried the wayback machine for Raonsims, but no luck on tracking them down. (Looking for the non-donation hairs.) do you know where they can be found?

Hey there, from the research I’ve done, it looks like all of Raonsims’ free hairs are available on SimsCave. You have to register on the forum but it’s free. I don’t have a link at the moment as I can’t remember my username there. Please let me know if you’re able to locate them there and if not, I’ll keep looking.

@daydreamingdrawerette asked me to fix some things with this mesh, and since I didn’t wanted this hair to be forgetted because retexture it may be a little bit more of work than usual I also decided to make one with Io’s textures! not gonna lie, it was pretty entertaining to do

- Fixed transparency issues - Now every age share one single 1024x1024 texture instead of having a bunch of them - I left a .rar with a volatile texture binned as custom for females and males + the mesh file in case someone wants to retexture/recolor it, I recommend you to use these files since most of the other recolors may have the elder age deactivated or have the extra grey texture added. I also recommend you to follow the original Raon texture since mine’s can be a little bit more confusing, and also a tip: you can grab some textured alphas from other hairs (you can extract them easier as .png from SimPE) and copy strands from them to retexture it, that’s the way I made this one :) - Updated all the original textures and colors from Raon, they are also binned and familied now. Here’s a preview of them:

Here’s something I did... 

The edit may look weird, but it bothered me that the original had that loose hair strand. The retexture was done by me because I couldn’t find raon F53 done in simgaroop though I’m sure it was done before. I figured I’d share this just for the sake of it. Enjoy! :)    → It doesn’t conflict w/ the original version. ←
