Ranmaru x Ai - Romantic Headcanons

❤: who is more affectionate in public? in private?

Both are not affectionate at all in public. They are not the type to be into PDA generally, but also because they are famous idols they need to be professional in public at all times. See below for in private.

💓: who initiates most physical contact?

I think in private, Ranmaru is often the one to initiate most cuddle/intimate times. Ai is sometimes confused on how/when to initiate, but this becomes less the case over time and he starts to understand.

💘: who developed a crush on the other first? 

Okay this might not be the popular headcanon, but I think Ai did! He starts to notice he is paying an increasing amount of attention and cognitive function to Ranmaru. He starts to wonder where Ranmarue is more often. He starts to think about the physical properties of Ranmaru’s body. He doesn’t really understand why this is happening, so he brings it up to Ranmaru. Ranmaru is really flustered and tells Ai not to think about it!!, but then starts to develop his own crush from there.

💝: who spends more time (possibly overthinking) what presents to get the other?

Both of them are actually quite thoughtful when it comes to buying each other gifts. I think Ranmaru might struggle a little bit more though because Ai is less vocal about liking and disliking things.

💙: who is more protective?

Ranmaru for sure! 

💌: who is more likely to send cutesy texts to the other?

Neither often do. Though once after learning how to use messenger stickers from Natsuki, Ai started using them in his texts to Ranmaru. The stickers are always incredibly weird ones or kinda hard to understand tho. For example:

Ranmaru: Hey

Ai: 

Ranmaru: What does that mean...

Ai: He is saying hello.

Ranmaru: ... the f*** he is
