1. Psychologic Disco ft. Isui (ノウナイディスコ ft. 倚水) by r-906

It's an older song but I only found out about it when a Sploon artist I followed made the most banger remix? Everyday I weep how there's no full remix bc it's so good... Anyway I love this cover the most because her voice is so smooth 🥹 I replay this song like crazy it hit top played, and I never get sick of it which never happens to me!

2. Secret UFO ft. KAFU (ひみつのユーフォー) by Nayutalien (ナユタン星人)

3. Sci-fi Ecstasy (サイファイエクスタシー) by Nayutalien (ナユタン星人)

I LOVE Nayutalien songs!! They're so energetic and the sci-fi romance theme is extremely cute!! :') Only catch is that it can be really high-pitched and grating if unaccustomed. It's been a year since Secret UFO released but I still love it even now :)

One of the first few original songs by Mafumafu I think, and the video is also done by Miwashiba. This was one of my favourite songs like... a decade back LOL Then I listened to it again and realise I still loved it. It can be pretty grating too because the instrumentals can be overwhelming. Also because it's an older song, the audio on headphones feel kinda mushy. I really wish there's a crisp HQ version!

going to recommend bombay dreams by kshmr, lost stories ft kavita seth for a song that's a great part self love, acceptance, the tenderness that comes from having a crush and someone having intense love for dance, and then rangi saari by kanishk and kavita seth, which is a thumri in traditional music, a folk tune which is a twist between traditional and r&b, modern-ish music that celebrates the mischief of young lovers. hope you like them! if you also like, check out when we feel young by when chai met toast!

[Another monster covered in the Bestiary 4. At least both of ours are rabbit-y. Mine draws more inspiration from Harvey and Donnie Darko, though. Again, the mechanics of the two versions are different enough to allow both versions to coexist in a game.]

Phouka CR 12 CN Fey Posing with a wry smile is a strange black-furred humanoid creature that combines the features of a rabbit and a goat. Its legs are long and lean and ready to leap, and its ears flop around its horns as it shakes its head with a condescending smile.

Roguish tricksters, the fey known as phoukas are distrusted even by other faerie-folk. Phoukas are wandering creatures who delight in making mortals look foolish—they use their prodigious powers of illusion and shapechanging to play pranks on the unwary. Most phoukas are good sports and will reward those who play along with their jokes with a small token or favor, but a few phoukas have turned cruel and don’t let up until their jests have ruined (or even ended) lives.

Phoukas feel a certain kinship with those mortals in altered states of consciousness—drug addicts, drunkards and the insane. A phouka might “adopt” one of these lost souls, following him around and using his madness as an opportunity to tease and befuddle those that view them as pathetic or dangerous.  A phouka may even serve as a guardian angel, doing favors for their chosen friend. A phouka’s favors, unfortunately, only rarely fall within respectable mortal codes and may involve thefts or violence.

In its natural form, a phouka stands six and a half feet tall and is a rangy 150 pounds. They rarely let their real appearance constrain them, however, and may change shape a dozen times a day in order to carry out pranks. If threatened, they typically prefer to incapacitate foes using magic, but are more than capable of bloody violence if need be.

"Yeah, well, not that you asked, but I didn't really have a choice in that matter," He said, lifting his wrapped hand up in the air from when he had dislocated his thumb earlier to escape the cuffs he had been chained with. "I would have wrapped it at home, but when your family finds out that you were held captive by a sociopath, they typically want to take you to the hospital, so..." He pointed out, his voice deadpan and his humor dry as his eyes took a moment to rake her up and down. "How have you been... with everything?"

Of all the things Rangi had expected when coming face to face with Song, this was not one of them. She didn't like small spaces, and she definitely didn't like being in small spaces with someone who was her ex. Still, she noted how he avoided touching her. He was at least always good about that part. Not everyone realized how jarring it was to see flashes of death just from a brush against someone. "Ah," she said simply, then raised a brow, "I guess the closet is a good place to do that, but if you really wanted to avoid them, you could just...not be here," she pointed out, "at the hospital."

"Something like that," He admitted, peering back around the corner only to mutter a curse under his breath. "Come here," He said, grabbing onto the edge of her sleeve as he led them into the nearby maintenance closet, shutting the door behind them before his cousin rounded the corner. While he had been gone for months and, Rangi and him hadn't exactly been interacting much in the weeks before he had been taken, he knew enough not to grab a banshee's hand after everything he been through. But, the fabric of her sleeve seemed safe enough and, when they were out of the hall, he let go. His own hand swinging back to his side as he let out a small sigh of relief. "I'm avoiding my cousin," He explained as he glanced around to see that he had in fact pulled her into a closet of all places.

"Song?" Rangi shouldn't have been surprised, really. She knew he was back in town, she'd seen him at the ball. She sort of wished she hadn't, the way he limped, the blood on his face, the arrow in his shoulder. Most everyone in town who knew of him and his family thought Song had simply left of his own accord, without a word. It wouldn't have been out of character, they whispered. He was just like that. Rangi had never truly believed it, but after years went by, what other choice did she have? And now he was here, standing in front of her, looking at her like that and she didn't know what to say. "In a hurry to be somewhere?" she blurted.
