Another slugcat oc drawing

I’m continuing to mess with the idea I had in the previous art post lol

I’m still debating on the name, but I’ve been gravitating towards Druid the most. I’m getting pacifistic, nature-loving vibes from the design, I’m not entirely sure why I added the spear (to be fair I’m still exploring how I want to draw slugcats, its a way to mess with it lol)

Also been thinking about potential lore. I have no idea where in Rainworld’s story they could be inserted, but potential lore reasons behind their design have been on my mind. I’ve thought of the flowers and vine bits being a part of the oc’s body, growing from them. I’m not sure if I wanna go the angsty route and make these plants growing out of the slugcat unpleasant in some way, or if I wanna just make it a harmless addition to the slugcat. How the flowers and vines ended up on them is also a question to think about, is it natural or did an iterator do something? Do I wanna make an iterator oc for that if it’s the route I take? Pronouns have also been a thought. Many lore things to think about hehe

Screw it, lore dump about my fantasy story with the most development to it's name lol

This story consists of multiple worlds. Some irl friends of mine and myself have worked on these worlds and their mechanics and such. In each world, there is a balance sort of mechanic. There are two forces, Light and Darkness, and they must stay in a 50/50 balance. If this balance is thrown off too much then then world will be destroyed by whatever force has the bigger percentage. Each world has a certain way of maintaining it, but I'm focusing on the world I've done the most with, of which I've called Aloreca.

In Aloreca, a sort of power bank thing was put into place to keep the balance in check until a certain point. Eventually, a god-like being named The Glitch was created, and The Glitch took over the balance maintenance as the power bank ran out at that point. The Glitch's powers are too unstable for it to maintain the balance on it's own, however, so it decided to use the mortals it was watching over for help. Each generation, 2 mortals would be selected by The Glitch, they'd be given the powers of one of the forces as a newborn. The two mortals would keep the balance in check just by merely existing and not dying. And when one dies, The Glitch will select the next mortal. These mortals would become known in the world of Aloreca as the Warriors of Light and Night. The Glitch might also call upon these Warriors for help with various tasks (defeating troublesome mortals, cleaning up messes The Glitch's unstable powers might've accidentally caused, etc.)

The Warriors having the forces of balance within them would result in those mortals being very powerful. Whatever magic they would've developed without the balance forces would be given a large power boost, and they'll be able to use the abilities of the balance forces alongside those powers up until their demise and when they become spirits roaming Aloreca's world/the spirit world. The Warriors become pretty op as a result, though the physical state of their bodies and any other flaws can still impact them, and their specific magic abilities varies from mortal to mortal as it would any normal mortal that developed magic abilities.

More Ibony? More Ibony.

Feeling pretty good, I've been meaning to update her tupperbox avatar on Discord and I think I'm using this lol

I've also been meaning to make a spooky drawing or two with Ibony, she's a redeemed villain and it's been a while since I've drawn her in her villain phase. I also just recently found a song that really fits her villain arc, so that's just adding fuel to the fire of that urge to draw Ibony being spooky. Hopefully I get around to it before the end of the month lol
