So this scene in Season 2, Episode 7 when a problem comes up because the art club budget was approved before the budget meeting and Kotori realizes that she had placed the art club budget form in the approved bin by mistake.

Personally, I still stand by my “head canon” that Kotori was distracted by Umi’s charms or something and that’s why she unintentionally put the form in the approved bin. 

Can’t really blame her for messing up...

December 2nd: secret cookie club

Nico had learned this recipe from his roommate in pre-med, Jen, whose mom was a baker and had passed on her secrets to her daughter. Initially, Nico wasn’t even supposed to know what exactly was in those magical cookies, but since he and Jen have been so close and saving each other’s asses several times when it came to deadlines and studying together, Jen had sneaked him a small note the day they parted ways.

He didn’t find it until months later, in the beginning of December when he got out his Christmas decorations that consisted of a tiny fake tree and two even smaller reindeers. He wasn’t much of a decorations guy. The only reason he even had all these things was because his sisters once visited and went out to buy them after they had seen the plain state Nico’s apartment had been in.  

They had done the same thing to Junho, oldest of the Kim siblings and twin brother of Nadia. The two always kept nagging each other about the fact that Junho was the first of them to experience life outside the womb, and therefore calling himself the eldest sibling. Nadia would just roll her eyes and insist that it had only been 5 minutes earlier, but that he can gladly take the title of being the senior citizen.

While Nico wasn’t much of a cook, and he wasn’t much of a baker either, he was still capable of following his former roommate’s recipe without setting the kitchen on fire. Only around the Christmas season would he go to the store to buy ground almonds and vanilla sugar. It was the only time he would actually turn on the oven for anything that wasn’t already pre-made by the store, his family or his boyfriend.

Levi being an amazing cook shouldn’t have surprised him that much. Levi had told him about his mom and him regularly preparing dinner together. But the first time Levi had cooked for them, Nico was astonished. He was fascinated by how quickly his boyfriend was cutting up vegetables and how he didn’t even need to measure the spices he put into the dishes. He just threw them in, seemingly random amounts, and somehow it ended up being not only edible, but incredibly tasty.

Speaking of the resident next to him, Levi was currently kneading the flour together with the eggs, sugar and other ingredients into a dough, sneaking little bits of it into his mouth when he thought Nico wasn’t watching. What Levi didn’t know though, was that Nico was never not looking. He could barely even take his eyes off of him.

Because having someone to bake cookies with and decorate the apartment and run outside as soon as the first snow hit who wasn’t part of his family of living situation... it was special. And he wanted to cherish every second that he got with him in their peaceful bubble.

I was thinking about my favorite ships... as I often do... and just realized something interesting and a little funny about my fav Love Live ships. 

For each respective group, my fav ships are always ships that have age differences by grade. 

First off for Love Live! School Idol Project, and my most fav ship, NicoMaki where Nico is a third year and Maki is a first year, making them two years apart in age.

For Love Live! Sunshine, my fav ship is YouYoshiko where You is a second year and Yoshiko is a first year which is only a year difference.

And last but certainly not least, my fav ship in Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, KariAi where Ai is a second year and Karin is a third year making them only a year apart as well.

Maybe I just like the dynamic of ships with age difference? Maybe it’s just a coincidence? Either it’s always fun to overanalyze stuff like this. Ha.

So... I noticed something from the scene at the end of Episode 13 of D4DJ First mix when Saki is about to take off her costume and the rest of Photon Maiden stops her.

Everyone seems to have a surprised reaction...

But then there’s Kyoko who seems to have this huge grin on her face. 

Maybe she just finds this whole thing amusing or maybe she’s like “Oooh yes, take off your clothes, I like where this is going...” either way I found it really cute especially since I still think Saki and Kyoko are cute together and I ship them despite the fact they have very little interaction aside from their cute duet moment in the opening.

Why does Ai look like she’s breaking the 4th wall and flirting with the viewer like “Well, hello there~”?

Watched the entirety of Rugrats via Paramount+ and it was definitely a fun, nostalgic ride. I don’t really remember the last few seasons as much so it was like watching it for the first time. I almost forgot how adorable Kimi was in Rugrats. I just adore her!

Hmm... the movie that Rina’s describing here sounds a lot like...

Kiki’s Delivery Service, which is still one of my favorite movies from my childhood for sure.

Disney+ still only has up to episode 5 of Season 2 so I haven’t seen the episode this scene is from yet but being the avid Lumity fan that I am, had to watch this moment and it’s just so cute. I love how Luz is struggling to ask Amity out and then Amity is like “DO YOU WANT TO GO OUT WITH ME!?” beating Luz to it which I think is really cute considering Amity wanted to ask Luz to Grom back in Enchanting Grom Night but was afraid to. Nice little nod to that episode. These two are just so freaking cute, I can’t take it. Lumity is a ship that’s always been special to me on a personal level so seeing it become official is such a heartfelt experience.

O...kay, probably a case of me turning something into something it's not but this has been on my mind for awhile. I was just thinking about Tsuki Watanabe (You's cousin) and the fact that she was initially mistaken for a boy by the rest of Aqours. Most likely because of the fact that she had tucks her hair  into her hat for some reason. Like what is the reason behind doing this? 

As a girl who prefers shorter hair I came up with a slight theory behind this. Keep in mind that this is just my own personal thoughts and in no way and I'm stating this as fact. Basically, sometimes I like overanalyzing things because it can be fun. Maybe she wants to cut her hair short but she's not confident about it? Maybe she doesn’t like the permanence of it which could give off a gender fluid vibe around her. I know when I initially got shorter hair, my family wasn't sure what to think of it, especially my mom. These days they accept that this is just how I like my hair but it wasn't always like that. I remember the first time I wanted to get my hair cut shorter was back when I was 13. I just remember my sister's reaction, she literally jaw dropped. I've always had longer hair growing up so seeing me make such a drastic change would naturally be a shock. It made me feel bad at first but over time I became more confident in having short hair and now I have my own signature short hair style I always go with whenever I get my hair cut and I love it. My hair had always be so frizzy so cutting it short made it must easier to manage as well. 

I always thought it was really interesting that Tsuki seems to like to tuck her hair into a hat. It's obviously intentional and I don't know if they intended there to be anything deeper behind why she does this but it's just interesting to think about. Another angle could be that Tsuki might identify as trans or non binary and that’d be pretty cool aspect of her character. 

I just really loved Tsuki and it’s a shame she’s technically a movie exclusive character because I would have loved to see more of her for sure.

Huggy’s face... he’s so precious! X3 

Haven’t seen WordGirl in so long but stumbled upon some out of context videos on Youtube (really obsessed with watching out of context videos cuz they can be so funny) and remember how hilariously well written this show was despite the fact it’s an educational series on PBS Kids. I remember rushing home after school just to watch WordGirl cuz it was always on 30 minutes or so before I got off the school bus to get home. Ah, yes, the simpler times...

As much as I love Catradora, I feel like Glimbow should have got an iconic kiss scene like Catra and Adora did… but at least we still got some really cute moments between them like this subtle moment.

I love Luna and Luan's sibling dynamic, they're so cute! Maybe it has something to do with the fact they share a room or the close age difference but they are just so adorkable as a duo imo. 

I think it would be super fun to draw more interaction between these two especially since I want to put more focus in making more The Loud House fan art in general.

Since I'm become pretty invested with D4DJ, I decided to get myself a hoodie from RedBubble. Someone on there recently uploaded some great D4DJ designs to their shop so I couldn't resist getting this design. Love Live will probably always be one of my most dedicated fandoms but D4DJ is quickly becoming a fandom I'm also really into. There's a lot of great music in D4DJ too. 

I’m excited to start wearing this when I’m out and about and show off m love for D4DJ. The design is a bit blurry in some areas like it’s hard to see the facial features but I guess this is to be expected with so many characters in the same design. Overall, looks so cool though and I’m just glad it came cuz it was the tracking made it seem like it had gotten lost but I’m relieved that I finally got it. 

Sleeveless hoodies are my thing now, I pretty much wear one every day no matter how hot it gets, I have a pretty nice selection of them now too.

Ruby looks so fascinated by this snail... She's so precious. When I was younger, I would find snails and keep them as pets in a jar under my bed because if my mom found out, I'd get in trouble. I was so fond of snails as a kid and still am in a way. Whenever I see one on the sidewalk, I usually try to move it to a safer place where it won't get stepped on.

Started rewatching the first season of Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club but this time the dubbed version that recently released and this scene still cracks me up cuz it's just so adorable. Absolutely love how after a bit of a clumsy struggle, Ayumu manages to grab that cell phone after Yu just carelessly tosses it over her shoulders. XD

So far I'm really loving getting to finally watching Nijigasaki in English!

Decided to start going by a stage name

Definitely far from famous but I decided that I wanted to start going by a stage name since my full real name which is Jenna Johnson just feels so bland. I’ve already updated my Youtube channel with my new stage name as well as my Twitter account. 

What is my new stage name you might be wondering. Well, it’s...

Stella Exquisa

This is actually a name I came up with for Rarity (Equestria Girls) if she had a more realistic name and I always liked this a lot so it’s now my official stage name. Stella means star in Italian and I hope I can become a well known entertainer one day. Don’t necessarily hope to become famous but being successful doing what I love is a huge dream of mine. Exquisa is just a name I made up and it’s kind of play on the word “exquisite”. 

I’m very excited to start going by this name online and I hope you will support me through this new change.
