thinking about how horribly doomed aventurine is by "luck". he has it but hes going to lose it and although he is lucky enough to have it he is not lucky enough to preserve it. for his luck and his goodness will outweigh everything else out, so the scales of fate tip unfavorably in the eyes of those that he cares about, leaving them doomed while he is eternally preserved

Bruce and Harley are friends. Bruce and Harvey are friends.

May I present: All three grew up together.

They met at a park one day, or even on the first day of first grade, and decided that they were gonna be friends forever.

They all probably kissed once just to see what it would be like. They also made a promise to marry each other/move in together if they weren't in a committed relationship by a certain age.

They definitely planned to work together in the future, all having to do something with the law. They were gonna be the good guys, kicking ass together because there's no way they'd ever stop being friends.

And then Bruce's parents were killed.

And then they couldn't all go to the same high school because Harley lived in Park Row and Harvey lived in Old Gotham and Bruce lived in Bristol.

And then Bruce disappeared.

And then Harley went insane.

And suddenly, Harvey was the only one left.

But Bruce came back! And Batman appeared. And Harvey was busting his ass trying to keep the city safe while also reconnecting with Bruce and telling him what happened to Harley. Harley joins The Joker, entering a relationship with him.

Batman has to keep locking Harley away in the very place she wanted to help people, and Bruce dies a bit every time because that's his friend he keeps putting there.

Harvey goes insane, calling himself Two-Face.

And suddenly, Bruce is the only one left.

None of them are doing what they set out to do.

Harley - in nice terms - is no longer with Joker. Harvey is still in and out of Arkham. Bruce now has three two kids.

Harley reforms, getting the help she needed, but she doesn't go back to what she'd grown up wanting to do. Harvey keeps going through the revolving door that is Arkham Asylum, but he knows Batman won't hurt him because Bruce would never hurt his friends on purpose. Bruce now has 7 kids, two of which he can't officially adopt because one still has living family and the other doesn't want that. Bruce and Harley reconnect.

Drifter is more fascinated by The Beheaded, then he expected himself to be. Or rather, the 'head' of said Beheaded.

From flames that can burn or not burn, to a plant-based substance that can latch onto other living beings, but still remain attached to their 'body'. And then to a living green slime with the constantly of Silly Putty.

The first time he saw the living pile of sludge, Drifter couldn't help but pick him up to examine more closely. He got so caught up in practically playing with him, that Bobby had to wiggle himself free.

Drifter profusely apologized soon after.

Eventually, Drifter sated his curiosity through the simple touches of Bobby's 'face'. He is constantly at awe with how the flames curled around his fingers, with no bite against his skin. And Bobby...well, he soaked up the attention like a dehydrated sponge.

It was better than being stretched like gum, any day.

Late night thought

There are two writers from Masquerade Kiss, one for Kei and Yuzu, and one for Kazu and Seiichi.

I’ve been thinking this for a long time, but have you noticed that the two characters assigned to the two writers are written as some sort of extreme opposites?

Writer 1:

Yuzuru: Based on scientific foundation and skepticism. Is honest, straight to the point and direct

Kei: Based on superstition, religion and psychology (which isn’t fully and perfectly scientific as it is full of biases). Is hard to read and evasive

Writer 2:

Kazuomi: Lives under the spotlight and known worldwide. Loves parties and noisy/full of life environments. Is extravagant and straightforward about what he wants

Seiichi: Works in the shadows in a solitary way. Prefers staying indoors and doesn’t like crowds. Likes the simple joys of life and is completely cryptic. Lets you figure out what he thinks on your own

The thing that I love the most about mutual pining Sanuso is that, to me, they already act like a couple. Usopp is just too afraid to ask (or either understands that Sanji has a hard time with these things) and Sanji is scared as hell of his feelings so he doesn't say anything. But they stargaze together. They always look for each other when there's nothing to do and watch each other's backs when fighting. They hold hands most of the time. They dance when they're alone. They keep saying they're just best friends but Sanji kisses Usopp's head when he offers him some midnight snack to help with his anxiety, and Usopp always draws countless Sanji portraits in his sketchbooks. They share looks and silent conversations. They make fun of other people together. They're the closest they could be and they acknowledge each other as one of the most important people in their lives. And there's just this sense of domesticity and genuine love that doesn't need to be specified with a label to make them feel like they're in love.

Okay so here's how Bram can still win: what if before getting completely overridden by fyodor, he transferred his consciousness to the only "true" vampire nearby. Akutagawa, via special magic vampire lord ability powers.

The Akutagawa we see fighting alongside Atsushi is the real one though, because Bram can decide when to retreat and give the spotlight to his vessel. However i don't know how they could get separated afterwards.

I remember stumbling upon a couple of comments about Vegas' "You're the most important person in my life" line, saying that it's a bad thing to say because Macau exists and I have thoughts about it.

Pete is the most important person in Vegas' life. He's the man who saved him twice - both from his enemies and from himself - , he's the man who opened his eyes about his father's abuse, he's the man who showed empathy and love to him despite being tortured within an inch of his life by him. Sure, Macau loves him too and without him, Vegas wouldn't have the capability of love at all (shout-out to Lusn's brilliant line in smog lights, it's still stuck in my head) but let's also keep in mind that he's his brother and younger brother at that. He can only offer so much to him, there are limits to what he can do.

People had said the same thing when Vegas was going to commit suicide too.

"What does he mean he has nothing? He has Macau. Why isn't he thinking about him? He's going to leave him alone, that's so cruel"

Well...I have never had suicidal thoughts in my life but I can assume that when a person gets to that point, they're 1. not thinking rationally and 2. not thinking of themselves as valuable. I'm sure if Vegas thought of Macau while pointing the gun to his chin, he'd think he'd be doing Macau a favour by dying.

Back to the original point, the same is true for Pete. Vegas is Pete's most important person in his life too. Vegas unlocked a part of Pete he kept hidden and was in deep denial about, letting him be a person with wants and needs and a voice, instead of background decor in his own life. But fans don't really think about that because Pete never said it and Pete's grandma was only mentioned throughout the show, only having two phone call cameos in which we didn't even hear what she said. What applies to Macau though, applies to her too.

I understand why it sounded off to some people. I think it's the innate belief most people have about family and it being the most important thing in someone's life, everything else coming in second place, including friendships and romantic/sexual partners. I need them to understand though that in the case of VP, it isn't just a sexual/romantic relationship. They're basically soulmates; they were two broken pieces that fit together. They bonded under such hard circumstances and came on top despite everything being against them. One would not be able to live without the other.

And in my honest opinion, I think Macau knows this. There's a reason he's smiling like the cute little gremlin that he is, while watching them kissing, having heard everything Vegas said. He knows Pete is the most important person in Vegas' life and he's extremely happy about it. Someone else finally sees Vegas like he sees him. Someone finally loves him with all his heart, so much so that they left their whole previous life behind for him. Vegas finally has a family that he loves and loves him back, Macau included. And I think that's beautiful.
