probably controversial opinion about the g.ood o.mens l.eak
[Post-rant edit: To be clear, I am not saying it would be an objectively bad thing. I'm just saying it would make me feel bad.]
I know how it sounds, but man, if they really do get together romantically in season 2, i will be... "Devastated" is too strong a word, but. It'll hurt.
And there is still a part of me that also goes "omfg, that would be AMAZING!! That would be HUGE!!!" And yeah it would be, but i'd still have very conflicting feelings about it because
This is, like, my one (1) (singular) (sole) (solitary) mainstream example of [what is arguably-] a QPR that I can think of. And even though I've never been actively in the fandom, I've always held go.mens close to my heart because of that. I know the fact that n.eil insists it's not canon that they're romantically together can seem homophobic (from what I've seen, it seems to me that he's just respectfully saying "that is not what we put in the book/series, and I don't do 'word-of-god' statements." But there is certainly lots I haven't seen), but it has always felt incredibly validating to me. Like, it's nice to see that he's "on my side" about relationships not needing to be romantic to be deeply significant
I know it's not a logical reaction, but I would feel so cast aside if the characters actually had an on-screen, explicitly romantic relationship. Bc what I had held so dearly for so long as sorely-needed representation for myself was actually just a lead-up to something else entirely, because once again, the romance is seen as a deeper, more important stage of the relationship, for which the platonic part was just a stepping stone. Only significant because it leads to the romance.
And I'm using "representation" lightly here... I know it's highly arguable since it's not stated in canon. But I feel strongly enough to make this post because-
I've seen multiple people now say something to the effect of, "I know there are ace/aro people who care about the characters' platonic relationship because they see themselves in it, but if the average straight person can't tell it's queer, then..."
And I can't get that out of my head tonight... Why is the average [allo]straight person's opinion at all relevant to the value our representation holds? Why is it our problem if the general public doesn't know about us? If the romantic relationship does happen, I doubt there will be a point in the show where someone says "btw this relationship here is Gay, it is a Gay relationship with Gay people in it." And people watching will still understand what they're seeing because they have knowledge of gay relationships in the real world...
And what I'm saying is, I don't think lesser-known identities/orientations should necessarily have to have a moment like that in order to be valid representation. I don't think a show featuring a QPR should necessarily have to have a moment with "btw this relationship is Queer, it is a Queer relationship with Aromantic people in it" because I don't think the average allo person's opinion is necessarily a very important factor in this equation. Like... We, too, should be able to have representation that doesn't necessarily serve an educational purpose for outsiders.
Like if you tell someone go.mens features a queer relationship and their response is to be patronizing (a complaint I also saw), that's not an issue with the show, that's an issue with the asshole you're talking to.
Idk. I think I'm kinda talking in circles. I should probably block the go.mens tag.

masterlist
add yourself to my taglist!
You were comfortable with who you were. You had learned to accept the way you were genetically wired. There was always that hesitation to tell anyone about your sexual orientation since everyone knew who your dad was. Only the people closest to you had known about you bisexual, but that short list of people didn’t include your dad.
He would accept you, you were sure of it. Your Uncle Scott had come out when he was just a little bit older than you were now. But maybe it was different for you? It was his brother coming out to him, not his flesh and blood. You are his kid, the most important person in his life. Could he think differently of you? This moment had been put off long enough. Something sparked a fire inside you and you convinced yourself that it was time to come out.
You sat at the kitchen table, staring at your hands in your lap for what seemed like hours until you heard the garage opening, the soft hum of Chris’s car, and your heart dropping to the pit of your stomach. You considered abandoning this mission, saving it for when you thought it out more, bolting up the stairs to your room before he could come inside. But the door being pulled open and the garage closing stopped those thoughts immediately.
Please be in a bad mood so I have an excuse to abort this mission, you thought to yourself before Chris walked into the kitchen.
“Hey, peanut! What are you doing here? I thought you’d be having your girl’s night with Jordan and Eliza.” He greeted you cheerfully, a surprised look on his face. He bent down and gave Dodger a greeting and moved further into the house.
Shit. Good mood. Guess there’s no backing out now.
“Jordan had something come up. She couldn’t have us over so we just canceled.” You said, resting your elbow on the table, propping your head up.
Every Friday you had a girl’s day after school with your best friends Jordan and Eliza. You drove to Jordan’s house together and ordered take out and watched movies or whatever random thing you could come up with. You had asked for a raincheck on girl’s night so you could do this.
“That’s a bummer. Looks like you're stuck with your old man tonight, peanut. Should we order some take out and veg out on the couch? I kinda feel like Chinese food.” He walked over to the drawer with take out menus and searched for the one he was wanted.
“Yeah, dad, whatever you want.” You hesitated before speaking again. “Before we do, can I talk to you about something? It’s kinda important.” You said, placing your hands in your lap and looking down at them. Chris turned around and saw you shying away from him.
He made his way to the kitchen table and grabbed a chair and pulled it closer to you. He pulled yours so your knees were touching and so he could grab your hands as a comfort. You were acting the same way you did when you told him about you getting your period in middle school, and when your asshole history teacher gave you a detention for mouthing off sophomore year. You acted this way when you were scared to say something, but needed your dad.
“Yeah baby, what’s up?” He said quietly, and non invasively. His heart started to pound a little faster, scared of what could have his baby so closed off and afraid.
“Before you start freaking out, I’m not pregnant and I didn’t kill anyone. Let’s just get that out of the way.” You cleared up, knowing what was probably going through his head. You chuckled at the breath of relief he let out at your statement. He exaggerated wiping sweat off his forehead and leaned back in his chair. He kept his eyes on you, raising an eyebrow to single you to keep talking.
“So I’ve been meaning to talk to you about this for a while and uh, haven’t had the guts to say it. But today I felt like it was now or never so I just really hope you can understand me and what I’m about to say. I’m bisexual. And I’ve known for a couple of years now, maybe since the beginning of high school. But I know how you feel about it but I hope that me being your daughter doesn’t change your feelings about it or about me. I really love you and it is so important for you to know since it’s such a big part of who I am. I’ve hated feeling like I needed to keep it from you, but I’m finally ready for you to know. I’m gonna stop talking so you can talk.” You wiped a few tears that fell from your eyes and looked at Chris, trying to gauge his reaction.
He stood up after a few seconds and pulled you up with him. He grabbed your face and just looked at you.
“I just have one question for you.” He started. You sucked in a breath and nodded your head. “Are you still the person I raised you to be? Are you still the Y/N Evans I knew yesterday?” He asked. Tears filled your e/c eyes again as you saw his blue ones start to water up.
“Yes.” You whispered. He let out a watery chuckle and fat tears fell down his cheeks. You wrapped your arms around his neck and he lifted you off the ground, hugging each other as you’ve never before. You could feel his tears soaking into your shirt like yours were soaking his.
“I love you so much, Y/N. Nothing could ever change that. Ever.” You heard him say. You squeezed your arms tighter around his neck in response and kept crying. “I’m so proud of you.” He whispered into your ear. He set you down slowly on the ground, not letting go until you were ready.
“I love you, dad.” You said once he set you down and you sat down in your chairs again. He grabbed your hand and kissed the back of it, smiling at you. Dodger got up from his place on the floor and made his way towards you, sensing that you could use a little love. He rested his chin on your knee and you scratched the spot you knew he loved. He licked your hand as you pulled it away and just stared at you. “I love you too, bubba.” You whispered.
“I love you so much, Y/N. You know that there is nothing you can do that will ever change the way I feel about you, right? I will never think any differently of you. You could’ve told me anything, and I’d still love you the way I did before you told me. I’d sit at home raising a baby while you finished school. I’d bury a body for you. There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for you.” Chris said.
“I’m not planning on having a baby anytime soon, so don’t worry about that. But my history teacher from sophomore year is still giving me problems, so that’s good to know.” You smirked and he leaned back and let out a laugh.
Chris stood up, placing a kiss on your forehead and went back to look at the take out menus he had pulled out. “So Chinese is okay with you?” He waved the menu from your favorite restaurant in the air.
“Chinese is good, I’ll have my usual. I need to call Uncle Scott, just come get me from my room when it’s here.” You said, running up the stairs.
“This better be the first time he’s hearing about this! If he found out before I did you’re sleeping outside for a week!” He called out after you. You snickered to yourself knowing the first person you told was Scott.

a/n: okay so im going to be the first to admit that i weeped writing this because i wish everyone could have an experience like this when coming out to their parents/family. i still havent come out to anyone in my personal life. my best friend kinda knows??? i always talk about being attracted to women but i’ve never explicitly said i am bisexual. being on this platform i feel like i can be who i am without the fear of not being welcomed. my family is very nonsupportive of the lgbtq+ community, so i havent come out to anyone in my family. this is like therapy LMAO. but anon, i hope you like this. and to anyone reading this if you’re struggling with your sexual orientation or with coming out, i hope this. brings you a little bit of joy. thank you for reading sorry this was a little rant and longwinded.

Self insert Vento Aureo

Cw: mentions of non-con and trauma, blood
I woke with a start 3 days later, the faint memory of a nightmare clinging to my mind. I bit my lip, crawling out of bed when I noticed Abbacchio wasnt with me.
The second I reached the living room, I heard voices in the kitchen. I stood against the wall, chewing my lip.
"No, I know she's supposed to stay with me, but It seems like for the next three weeks I'm going to be gone for days on end, and She won't be safe home alone. Mista can take her for a couple nights, but she needs somewhere safe, and safest is with you."
"I don't mind watching her, but Bucciarati, this is excessive." I could hear Abbacchio sigh, and I bit down, trying to work through what I was hearing. Bucciarati sighed himself, and I heard footsteps.
"She is asleep now, right?"
"Yeah, out cold. She went to bed at 5."
"Good. I'm just… I'm worried. This stand user is targeting girls her age and I don't want her to worry about it. I know she's capable, But these girls are disappearing without a trace. Not to mention I'm doing my damned best to find her rapist. Every time I pick up a trail, it falls out of my hands. Please, watch her."
"You know I'm going to, but I like my privacy, Bucciarati."
"I know… I hate to put this on...Did you hear that?"
I had bit a chunk out of my lip when I heard Bucciarati's words, and gasped when blood spurted in my mouth. I brought a hand up to my mouth, debating on walking into the kitchen or going to the bathroom. I didn't think fast enough, because the light in the living room was turned on, and Bucciarati and Abbacchio stepped in.
"Sasa, I thought you were asleep," Bucciarati said gently. I kept my mouth covered, swallowing.
"...had a nightmare."
"Are you okay?"
"No." I swallowed again. "I bit my lip pretty bad."
"You really have to stop chewing on it." He walked over to me, moving my hand. I couldn't tell if I was mad at him or not, so I recoiled from his touch. Concern flickered across his features. "What was the nightmare? You look shaken up."
"I don't remember the nightmare. Why do you hide things from me?! Why does everyone keep things from me? I'm a member of Passione. I have a stand. Fuck, I was the one who was raped, Bucciarati, so why hide information about it from me? If I meet the criteria to be kidnapped by some mysterious stand user who targets girls my age, why keep it from me? Why not tell me, so I can be on guard?! Why do you insist on treating me like a child, Bucciarati?"
"It's not because I'm underestimating you, Sasa." He sat on Abbacchio's couch, beckoning me over to sit next to him. I shook my head, crossing my arms. He sighed. "You're very capable. You're very bright, and you're strong. But you are only 14, and you have no business being in the mafia so young. The only reason you joined is because you were born with a stand. And because you went behind my back to pass Polpo's test. It breaks my heart seeing you go down this path."
"It's better than my parent's path. At least I'm not overdosing on Heroin." I bit down on my lip, flinching when I bit my wound instead. Bucciarati sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"It's… It's not like I'm asking for you to let me go with you, Bucciarati." I spoke slowly, so my voice wouldn't shake. I was mad after all. "I just want you to keep me informed on things. Especially if it involves my attacker. I don't like being kept in the dark."
Bucciarati looked up at me, something flickering behind his eyes. He stood and took my hand, leading me back into the bathroom.
"Sasa, look in the mirror. Your nightmares are getting worse and more frequent. You've lost enough sleep to kill. You're working yourself to the bone trying to catch up with school. You look sick all the time, and I know it's because you're stressed. You've got to start taking care of yourself. You don't have to be working all the time to be appreciated and valid. Honestly, it makes me happiest to see you acting like a normal kid your age, when you're doing schoolwork or having fun with Mista. And now, I need you to stay with Abbacchio for a little while longer while I work, okay?"
"Why- I feel like I'm intruding. Why Cant He come stay with Us? That way he can have his own space and I can sleep in my own bed? And then I won't have to worry about you If you're going to be home periodically."
"See? You're brilliant. I didn't think of that. Please, Sasa, for me. Take the backseat and focus on other things right now."
"You know I can't do that, Bucciarati." I swallowed, grabbing a wad of tissues and pressing them to my lip. "You said it yourself. My nightmares are getting more frequent."
Bucciarati cupped my face in his hand, pondering me. "How about this. We'll compromise. I'll keep you updated on everything that concerns you, and you focus on school instead of work, okay?"
"That-that's fair, Bucciarati." My hands shook. "O-oh. um, do you have-"
"Abbacchio told me, Sasa. I put a whole pack in the cupboard for you. But let's get you home, hm?"
"I'd like that…"
Bucciarati smiled, wrapping me in a hug, which I returned, squeezing my eyes shut.
After my much needed shower with my own products, I went out to the living room, sitting quietly on the love seat. Abbacchio and Bucciarati were sitting on the couch, barely any space between them. I chewed my lip quietly for a moment, my hair dripping onto my clothes. Bucciarati opened his eyes when I walked in, smiling at me.
"Are you ready for bed, Bimba?"
"I just have a little bit of homework to do…" I looked between him and Abbacchio, sighing.
"That can wait. I called into your school yesterday and told them you'd be out for a while."
"You just told me to focus on school!" I couldn't hide the frustration in my voice, and I flopped back against the couch, looking up at the ceiling. "Which is it, Bucciarati?"
"It's not… it's not safe right now, Sasa." Bucciarati chose his words carefully. "And besides, this time off will help you catch up a little bit. You can work at your own pace."
"By keeping me locked up at home. Great." I rubbed my eyes. I wasn't really being fair, and I knew that, but I was tired. It didn't justify it, but it explained it.
"Oi," Abbacchio's voice was sharp, and he stood, grabbing my face and leaning down. "He's only doing this so you don't get attacked again, monello. Or did you want to risk your life, have it happen again, for more hours filled with more nightmares? Watch your mouth."
"H-" my voice caught in my throat, and I searched Abbacchio's face, betrayed and hurt. He realized his mistake in a moment, his face falling when he saw the tears rising in my eyes. "How can you say that i- that I want that?"
"Abbacchio, let go of her." Bucciarati's voice was soft, but stern. As soon as I was free, I stood, slowly, staring up at Abbacchio with the same horrified look. I glanced over at Bucciarati, quickly, before turning on my heel and walking quietly and slowly back to my room, locking the door.
I cried myself to sleep.
For the next two days, I kept myself locked away in my room. I cried, a lot, a lot more than I wanted to, but it would be random bursts out of nowhere.
I didn't have an appetite, so I didn't eat. The only time I left my room was to go to the bathroom across the hall.
There was a knock on the door later that night, and Abbacchio's voice leaked through.
"Sasa, I ordered takeout. Come eat something."
I frowned, slamming my pencil down on my math workbook.
"I'm not hungry. I don't want anything. Just put it in the fridge or toss it. And leave me alone."
My voice cracked, and I angrily wiped my eyes, looking in the mirror and seeing the face of my rapist instead of mine. I turned away, before taking the blanket from my bed, covering the mirror with it. I tightly shut the blinds to my window as well, and used a tee shirt to cover up my smaller mirror.
I didn't sleep well that night, spending what time I was asleep in nightmares, and the rest staring up at my ceiling.
The next time there was a knock at my door, it was Mista's voice.
"Hey, can I come in?"
"No. I'm busy with school right now."
"From what I hear, you've been busy with school for five days. Have you eaten anything?
"I'm not hungry. Sorry, could you go? I'm trying to concentrate on this."
"Sasa-"
"GO!" I slammed my hands down on my books, irritation coursing through my veins.
I was left alone for the next day and a half. I snuck out of my room when I heard Abbacchio's snores, to get a glass of water and to eat something light- i think it was an apple- before scurrying back to my room and slamming the door when I heard him get up.
I recognized the next knock, and dreaded the events that followed. I doubled down, trying to focus on my math. 5x40.
"Sasa, can I come in?" Bucciarati's voice gave nothing away, and I groaned, frustrated.
"Not right now, Bucciarati. I'm trying to do my homework."
"I'll ask one more time, Sasa. This is your chance to let me in."
"No," I said firmly. "I don't want to see anyone right now."
"That's too bad, Sasa." I heard a zipper, and Bucciarati stepped in, blinking in surprise when he saw the state the room was in.
My overhead light was off, the only light source being my bedside lamp. There was no blanket on my bed, it was still covering the mirror.
I flinched when Bucciarati flicked the lightswitch, blinking rapidly to adjust to the new light. When he sat on the edge of my bed, I scooted further away, staring firmly down at my schoolwork.
"Bimba, we have to talk about this," he began gently, reaching over and pulling my books off of my lap. "You can't lock yourself away like this."
"I-" I took a deep breath, trying not to snap at him. I really didn't want to, but my mood wasn't the best. I just swallowed and let him continue, shaking my head.
"Has Abbacchio apologized?"
I shook my head. "He bought takeout a couple days ago, but I wasn't hungry."
"Have you let him apologize?"
Slowly, I shook my head. "I don't know if im- if I'm ready to forgive him for that. I know he says a lot of things out of frustration but… but this one meant something and it really, really hurt me."
"How much have you eaten, Sasa?"
"An apple, I think. I'm not hungry. I just feel sick. I- I am drinking water though." I gestured vaguely to the glass on my bedside table, frowning. "How much longer am I going to be out of school?"
"I haven't caught him yet. Fugo and I were out all week, but the most we got were some of his subordinates. It's freezing in here, Sasa. Have you been sleeping without a blanket all week? Why is it covering your mirror?"
"I kept seeing his face." I swallowed. "In the window too. 's why my blinds are shut." I finally met Bucciarati's face, my lip trembling. His brow was knit, and he reached out and took my hand.
"Right, Sasa. Come on, out to the kitchen. I'm going to make you some food before I have to get going again. And you have to eat it."
I knew there was no point in arguing with him, so I stood and followed him out to the kitchen. Abbacchio was sitting at the table, so I remained standing.
"Sit down."
"I-"
"Sasa, sit down."
I sighed, pulling a chair out and sliding into it. Abbacchio looked up at me, clearing his throat.
"I'm sorry for saying what I said. There's no excuse for it."
"You really hurt me, Abbacchio. You have to be careful with what you say. Sometimes they're not an 'in the moment' kind of thing." I swallowed, hesitating for a moment before reaching over and grasping his hand. "Just don't say anything like it ever again, and I'll forget about it.
"I promise." He squeezed my hand, pulling it up to press his lips to it. I gave him a wobbly smile.
Bucciarati set a bowl down in front of me, ruffling my hair and squeezing my shoulder. I broke down, tears filling my eyes and spilling over.
"It's alright, Bimba." Bucciarati sat next to me, keeping his hand on my shoulder. "Eat your soup, okay? And watch some TV. I'll be back tomorrow."
That night, I sat next to Abbacchio on the couch, and he turned the TV on. I didn't really pay attention to the movie, instead finishing my math workbook. He checked it over for me, smiling when he saw that I got it all right.
The movie ended, and he got up and put a new one in. I smiled when I saw that it was Jaws.
"Is this your attempt at a peace offering?"
"Is it working?"
"You didn't have to in the first place." I met his eyes, reaching for his hand. "Really. I do appreciate it though."
He lounged back on the opposite end of the couch, and halfway through the movie, I lay down with my head resting on his stomach. He brushed my hair out of my eyes so I could see, and by the time the movie had reached its climax, I had fallen asleep.
(Bucciarati's POV)
I walked in my house around 4 am, having no new leads on who this stand User was. I heard noises coming from the living room and peeked in. The news was on low, and when Abbacchio saw me, he shushed me, nodding down to Sasa. I smiled when I saw her finally resting, and finally looking like she was getting good sleep."
"How long has she been asleep?"
"Since 7. I put Jaws on after she finished her math homework and she passed out on top of me about halfway through. She's doing much better. Not a single problem was wrong."
"Really?" I raised my eyebrows in surprise. "I'm impressed. She's really been struggling with Math lately." I glanced at her as she took a deep breath and shifted a bit, turning to Abbacchio when her breathing evened out. "Do you want a coffee?"
"Sure, I'll take one."
I disappeared into the kitchen, returning with the two coffees and sitting on the floor, leaning against Abbacchio's legs. He took his mug and sipped it, closing his eyes.
"Anything interesting on the news?"
"Nah, just bullshit politics and what the weather's gonna be like today," Abbacchio looked down at me, his lips quirking up in a smile. ""Anything interesting happen last night?"
"Nah, we're no closer. This guy hides himself really well." I finished my coffee, setting the mug aside.
I found myself dozing off as well.
(Abbacchio's POV)
I flipped through the channels on the tv until I found something worth watching. Both Bucciarati and Sasa were out cold against me, both snoring softly. It was quiet while I watched an old documentary- something about ancient egypt- and I stayed as still as possible until I felt Sasa move. I looked down in time to see her eyes flutter open. She looked up at me, blinking slowly as if registering I was there.
"Time is it?"
"Shh… It's… 12:30." I reached over and adjusted her blanket. She nodded, yawning, and turned, seeing Bucciarati's head resting against my leg. She was quiet for a moment before turning to me.
"Tell me the truth, Abbacchio. Are you two…?"
"I don't know, Sasa." I sighed. "Sometimes it feels like it, but other times it just seems that there's that barrier of professionalism."
"Screw Professionalism." She yawned, snuggling closer to me. "I think you two should. I want to see you both happy, and Every time you're together, you both look so...at peace with things. I dunno. I wish you would, and then you could move in here. I'd like having my two dads together."
I looked down at her, nonplussed. "What?"
"I think you heard me, Abbacchio. And I know you know that I mean it."

FAQ
This is meant to be a collection of answers to various asks; if you have a question check here to see if it’s been clarified! New answers will be added here if new questions come up.
Q: Is (insert ship) a rarepair? A: If it has under 400 fics on ao3 it qualifies! We listed the ships that have 400 or more here. If you believe a ship has been left off that list let us know and we’ll check!
Q: A ship recently made 400(+). Does the fill I started for it still count? A: Yes! The list is set for this year, so no new ships will be added to it for now. However, if future events are hosted they will be added to the list and no longer count.
Q: What if the a ship in the 400(+) group is mostly a background ship? A: Because it is so hard/tedious to find out what is a background pairing for now we are treating anything with 400+ fics as non-rare based on the idea that, even if it’s a background pair, that many fics including it displays a certain level of popularity/commonness within the fandom in general.
Q:Can a non-rarepair be mentioned in a fic? Or used as a sidepair? A:That is fine! As long as a rarepair is the main focus the sidepairs can be from the non-rare list.
Q: Boruto charters don’t count towards ships, but can I do a ship with characters that are from the original series set in the Boruto era? (ex. hanabi/konohamaru) A: Yes!
Q: Can we fill out multiple boards or switch between them? A:Yes! While a bingo is the intended goal, you can fill out whichever squares, on whichever boards, in whatever order you desire. As long as a fill meets the rules and is properly tagged and submitted it will be accepted.
Q: What counts as bingo? A: For this event bingo will be any combination of five in a row. Up-and-down, side-to-side, or diagonal.
Q: So the goal is to get a bingo on any of the three boards? A: The desired goal is to achieve a bingo on whichever board you choose, but people can participate even if they don’t think they’ll make bingo.
Q: Is there a minimum word count needed? What type of fills are accepted? A: Any type of fill is accepted, not just fics, and as long as you include the pair and the prompt there is no word requirement. The only criteria is that the fill includes a rarepair and the prompt of the square it is meant for.
Q: Where can we post? A: You can posts fills on whatever platform you desire and just link it on tumblr, as long as you properly tag it and say what the link is to. If for some reason you cannot post the link/fill to your own blog you can submit it here!
Q: How do we tag on ao3? A: You can add the information on which square you are filling and anything else that would be tagged on tumblr to an author’s note, the summary, or the actual tags on ao3, whichever way you prefer.
Q: Is there a collection on ao3 or twitter? A: While you can post to twitter there is no collection or official event blog there. Currently there is also no collection on ao3, but one will likely be created afterwords. Keep an eye out for a message requesting permission for your fic to be added to it after the event closes if you post there!
Q: Can one work be used for more than one field? Can one work be counted across multiple boards? A: You can only submit a fill for one square of a board, so you cannot cover multiple prompts on a single board in one work and submit it for multiple squares. However, you can submit one work as a fill for two separate boards, as allowing a fill to count for both cannot result in one work being two of the spaces in a single bingo. The point is for every individual bingo to have five separate fills to go with all five of its squares.
Q: What do the spaces with character names mean? A: The prompt for those spaces is any rarepair involving that character! If the space says ‘Ino’ any rarepair including her will count.
Q: What if tumblr blocks a warning/trigger tag? A: Just tell us the tag that’s blocked and the alternative you plan to use that tumblr doesn’t block and we’ll add it to the rules post so that it can be blacklisted.
Q: How does the free space work? A: For this event the free space is not a freely given one, but rather a creator’s choice space, similar to a ‘free day’ during a week long event.
Q: What is the randomizer and what is it for? A: It is a tool that randomly generates a rarepair for anyone who would like a to shake it up or who plans to complete the randomizer space as explained in the rules post. Using it is not mandatory if you do not do that space.
Q: Where is the randomizer? What ships are in it? Can I request one be added? A: The randomizer is available here, a list of the ships in it is here, and you can send a request at anytime! We’ll add it, but any asks will not be published to avoid clogging dashes.
Q: What if the ultra-rarepair we are creating for gets a 5th fic before we post? A: Any fics posted to ao3 March 1st or later will not count towards the 0-4 fics for the ultra-rare space. The posting period remains unchanged, this date is just to help people who start writing or creating early not have their idea ruined!
Q: Is there an easy way to know if a ship is eligible for ultra-rare? A: Unfortunately because of the way tagging works and the bulk of ships that qualify there is no easy list. You can manually check by searching for the tag/pair on ao3 or you can send an ask and we will check for you!
Q: Is it okay to have under 18 characters if they are both under 18 and it is sfw? A: Yes, if it’s all sfw two similarly-aged underage characters is fine!
Q: Can I submit a fill for an ot3 (or more)? A: Yes! No paring with three or more characters has 400 fics on ao3, so they’re all eligible.
Q:What do meet cute and h/c mean? A: Meet cute is a trope that refers to the first meeting between a couple, likely a cute romantic meeting similar to a romcom type movie, and h/c is an abbreviation for hurt/comfort fic in which someone is hurt (emotionally or physically) and the other person comforts them.
Q: Can I just have the character from a character bingo square be in the fill but not be a part of the ship? A: No, for the character bingo squares the character must be a part of the ship.
Q: Is there a discord? A: There is not currently one for this specific event and in order to create one more mods would be needed to manage it. However, if enough people display interest it could be looked into.
Q:Do we just fill out boards as we please? Or will there be a prompt announced each day like live bingo? A: Because of various logistic issues, such as the fact all spaces would have to eventually called and that the event doesn’t just end when the first person reaches bingo, calling a different prompt everyday seems arbitrary. Participants can post whenever best suits them within the scheduled months.
Q: What happens when you get bingo or at the end of the event? A: We will be keeping track of participants bingo cards. A post will be made announcing everyone who got bingo at the end of the event. After that a masterlist of fills labeled by the board and prompt they are for will be posted. There will also be a post following the bingo announcement giving special mention to any of those participants who completed an entire board.

How to Create Your Blog Editorial Calendar for 2017 (with Spreadsheet)
How to Create Your Blog Editorial Calendar for 2017
Download my 2017 Blog Editorial Calendar
Do you ever find yourself struggling to come up with content ideas?
When you look back at your content on your blog, does it ever seem kinda random?
In today’s episode, I will walk you through how to create a blog editorial calendar that will help you accomplish your blogging goals.
What is an editorial calendar
An editorial calendar is a calendar where you plan out all of your content for a predefined period of time.
This can be anything from jotting down blog post titles on a sheet of paper and assigning dates to them to creating a complex spreadsheet where you map out your content.
Side note: I took the time to create a 2017 Blog Editorial Calendar spreadsheet. Want it? Sure, no problem!

Why You Should Create a Blog Editorial Calendar
There are three main reasons I believe that every blogger should consider creating a blog editorial calendar.
An editorial calendar helps you accomplish your business goals.
“A goal without a plan is just a wish.” Antoine de Saint-Exupery
Would you try to build a house without a blueprint? I wouldn’t.
You need to have plans to accomplish your business goals.
Yet, so many of us approach blogging that way (myself included). Here’s the thing – if you’re in this blogging thing for real, you’re building a business.
To build a business, you need to have goals. And to accomplish those goals, you need to have a plan.
If one of your goals is to launch a product teaching people how to clean their houses on March 1, you want to create the right kind of content at the right time to prime your audience for buying that product.
A blog editorial calendar will help you do this.
A plan gives you a structure to work within
I know, I know – you’re a rebel blogger. You don’t want structure. Structure is for people who work the 9 to 5. Right?
WRONG!
One of the major misconceptions among creative people is that structure limits creativity. I’ve come to learn over time that this is far from the truth.
When done well, structure can give you a platform on which your creativity can actually flourish.
It doesn’t mean you can go outside of that structure. However, the structure allows you to organize your ideas in ways that can lead to creativity.
Save time and energy coming up with ideas
Plan to save time and energy
Have you ever found yourself struggling to come up with a topic for your post that’s supposed to go live tomorrow?
I know I have, and that’s wasted energy.
Instead of doing that, spend some concentrated time creating a great editorial calendar and then use your energy to create the content.
Because it’s the content that will move the needle and get people to do what you want them to do.
Before creating your blog editorial calendar
Ok, you’re sold. And you’re ready to run out there and create your editorial calendar.
Before doing so, it’s a good idea to do some basic research. The goal here to to figure out what kind of content your audience (or potential audience) is looking for.
Here are three ways to do that, one of which is applicable even if you don’t have an audience.
Way #1 – ASK your audience
Create surveys to ask your audience.
One of the best ways to know what your audience wants is by simply asking them.
I know, it seems simple. It is. And it’s also extremely powerful.
Create a survey and post it on your blog, send it out to your email list, and share it on your social channels.
The most important question to ask on the survey should go something like this:
If you could wave a magic wand and have one problem solved with your [insert niche topic here], what problem would you solve?
This question gets to the heart of the matter. It helps you to understand what your audience is struggling with.
When you understand that, you can step in like superman and save the day. Why?
Because everybody wants to buy from Superman. Duhhh!
Dig into Google Analytics
Google Analytics is a great tool to find out about your audience’s interests.
Google Analytics is a powerful tool. It’s a great way to spy on your audience. It literally shows you everything they do on your site (and you were worried about the N.S.A?).
Here are some of the things you want to find out in Google Analytics:
What pages/posts are people visiting the most?
To get to your blog, what are people searching for?
Once they’re on your blog, what do they search for?
When you know the answers to those questions, you will be in a better position to create the content that is already working well for you.
Listen to the episode and you’ll find out how to find these details in Google Analytics. It can get a little tricky, but it’s worth figuring it out.
Scout through Social Media
Search through Social Media for Blog Topics
A great way to come up with blog topic ideas is by looking at the questions people are asking on social media. This is something you can do even if you don’t have an audience.
Join Facebook groups related to your niche and see what’s being discussed. Do Twitter searches and see what comes up over and over.
Go wherever your audience is and see what the chatter is all about. This will help you come up with content ideas.
How to Create your Blog Editorial Calendar
Once you’ve done your research, putting together your blog editorial calendar is actually not very complicated.
It will take some time, but you’d be surprised to see that you can actually knock it out in one afternoon.
Here are the three steps I recommend:
Step 1: Plan your Themes
When I decided to create an editorial calendar for 2017, I knew I didn’t want to come up with random blog post ideas. I wanted it all to be connected.
In other words, if someone listened to this podcast episode, I want the next episode to be the logical choice to listen to next.
When you sit down to create your editorial calendar, come up with a theme for the year, one for each quarter, and one for each month.
Of course, the monthly themes should make sense in the context of the quarterly themes and the quarterly themes should make sense in the context of the theme for the year.
This will make the next step easier.
Step 2: Brainstorm blog post titles that fit within those themes
Once you know your themes, just start throwing titles out there that fit those themes.
Use ideas that you got from surveying your audience, checking Google Analytics and/or Social Media to come up with those titles.
Once you have your list, arrange them in a order that makes sense to you.
Step 3: Fill out the calendar, one month at a time
This is it. This is where you start plotting things out and giving dates to those content ideas.
It’s where the commitment happens.
When doing this, make sure to pay attention to any holidays that would affect your niche. If valentine’s day is around the corner, my blog post might cover something like “ten ways to show your blog readers that you love them”
Side note: That’s actually a pretty good idea that I just came up with. I’m about to go and revise my editorial calendar
Other things to keep in mind
There are two other points you should keep in mind when creating your editorial calendar.
If there’s a flow to your content, link them to each other strategically.
Link connected pages strategically
Because you went through the process of creating an editorial calendar, there will most likely be a logical flow from one piece of content to the next.
If that’s the case (and I encourage you to make that the case), make it obvious that they are connected by linking them to each other strategically.
This will encourage your readers/listeners/viewers to stay around longer. By doing this, they will be more likely to subscribe to your email list and even buy your product.
And yes – that’s a good thing
It’s ok to change things up a little
Just because you have a structure, it doesn’t mean that you can’t ever deviate from that structure.
Come on! We’re bloggers. We are rebels (somewhat).
Just kidding (not really).
It’s important to allow for your creative juices to flow when they flow. If you feel led in a different direction for a specific blog post, feel free to explore that leading.
Remember, it’s important to have fun, and sometimes that fun comes in spontaneous ways.

You have all kinds of amazing ideas on how you can create a great spreadsheet that will allow you to track everything.
Hold up. Take a minute and breath. Slow down speed demon.
I already did the hard work for you. Yep, I created an editorial calendar spreadsheet.
It took me weeks to create and refine and it’s ready for you to use it.

Home Remodeling So Important For You
If your self pay attention the phrase "referral letter internet marketing", as a Real estate agent, what all of a sudden will come in direction of intellect? I'll wager on your own on your own believe I'm speaking around turning into letters of suggestion and reviews against your earlier clientele, suitable?
That's a Excellent notion for advertising as nicely. Regrettably, how above eating a regular movement of impressed clientele specified towards your self via other trustworthy industry experts together with legal professionals, money planners, tax accountants and transforming contractors? And the merely point yourself'll will need in the direction of do is jot down a awesome small letter, published through the largest accurate estate consultant (by yourself!).
Within a nutshell, referral promoting letters for Realtors can be summed up together with this: obtain a record of other experts in just your "farm House" that will consist of the type of consumers and prospective customers by yourself're wanting for. Then your self specifically pen a unique letter that properly demonstrates off who on your own are and ship it toward this listing within the regular monthly ship (no electronic mail). Be guaranteed yourself get hold of exceptional and retain the services of an envelope that stands out versus just about every other white, conventional envelope inside the send. If attainable, mobile phone every single knowledgeable that will get your letter, as a observe up task. Put on't strain, there's practically nothing cheating with copying what the "huge boys" coach. Enable's get started off with a pattern checklist of Individuals gurus that contain the customers your self're seeking for... - CPA's - House Mortgage Consultants (I'm absolutely sure oneself recognize this a person) - Capable Monetary Planners - Legitimate Estate Legal professionals - Acquiring Contractors - True Estate Appraisers - Name Associates - Electricians (household or probably industrial, based upon your office environment) - Plumbers (household) - Landscapers - Household Roofers - Handymen (household) - Helps make truly feel? Of study course, there are plenty of further industry experts toward insert toward the listing yet that'll acquire yourself likely for nowadays. Hence how can by yourself consider a comprehensive listing of all the gurus your self'll desire in direction of exertion with? Superb surprise. Yourself've received a couple of features nevertheless they rely upon your promoting spending budget. The upon-line yellow web pages is certainly an remedy for on your own. Your self ought to previously contain a geographic local yourself adhere in the direction of Home remodeling contractors in nyc therefore yourself'll have to have toward dwell within just that space, for the utmost aspect. With the yellow web pages possibility, the disadvantage is that it can be season having.
On your own consist of toward work in the course of every single client detailed and locate their status, cellphone selection and mailing include. Including I mentioned, this may perhaps have to have a little bit of year nonetheless it's free of charge. Effortlessly shopping for a listing of All those authorities would be your other final decision. Literally each individual career consists of their private listing that people today can order, precisely including yourself're upon a listing of Realtors out there someplace. People designs of lists aren't cheating at all (sorry in the direction of say for some of us). At the time experts, these types of as us Realtors and brokers, signal up for random textbooks and relationships, this sort of lists are compiled and developed readily available for sale towards absolutely everyone.A little bit unforeseen, huh? Perfectly, at this time oneself comprehend wherever all that junk deliver and spam arrives in opposition to.
On your own incorporate additional than more than enough solutions once it will come in direction of selecting a checklist small business in direction of purchase your record versus. The listing organization your self acquire should be capable in the direction of furnish yourself with each and every vocation yourself'll have to have, pretty than shifting in direction of a single business enterprise for a CPA record, an additional enterprise for an attorney checklist, and as a result upon. It'll selling price your self a handful of dollars in direction of find this form of listing yet it'll help save yourself a pant stress of season!
Hence after by yourself order this promoting listing of gurus (nevertheless yourself like in the direction of find it), it's period in direction of develop your remarkably custom made "referral letter". I dress in't incorporate Room in this article toward convey to oneself relating to copywriting, regretably. That's absolutely a matter all upon it's particular.
What oneself need to have in the direction of fully grasp for straight already is that this referral letter can not be the exact form of "product sales" letter that yourself would send out out, striving toward obtain checklist potential clients.
The moment 1 of People industry experts becomes this referral internet marketing letter, they require towards appear including they're the sole a single who obtained it, even while oneself may well replica optimum of it and mail it toward other experts.
It's all over composing the letter as if on your own ended up conversing toward the client facial area-in the direction of-experience. Do not be which include your nearby financial institution and create some form of "this is therefore unexciting I might vomit" referral advertising and marketing letter. Seize the reader's fascination, create in direction of them which includes a sincere human getting and not such as an establishment. The crux of your letter certainly should really location inside of undeniable words and phrases that yourself'd including in the direction of get started a mutually valuable, proficient partnership with them (nevertheless say it inside of a specific route, of program). Your intent is in the direction of be their "pocket Real estate agent" who will become all their referrals, for cost-free! Oneself need towards spotlight how they'll earnings against this romantic relationship with out performing any endorsing, bought it?
Yourself might transpire in direction of comprehend just about anything around the business enterprise one particular of these types of specialists function for consequently look absolutely free toward toss that in just your letter in direction of create it a lot more particular person. If by yourself comprehend of a patient who's labored with them, toss that inside there way too. There's no direction yourself can basically screw up this "person" contact until oneself start out off chatting junk above their momma, however by yourself received't do that, instantly?
Penning this internet marketing letter you would be my significant, essential advice. Unfortunately, if there's no opportunity yourself'll even wonder in excess of penning your particular referral letter, then transfer in advance and use a freelance copywriter in direction of get treatment of it for yourself. In the direction of come across some self-utilized writers, by yourself can Google "individual writers for seek the services of" and keep an eye on out a number of of your choices there for products and services in direction of make the most of. Upon a range of of them on your own can sift for the duration of freelance writers against all about the region and earth. By yourself can keep an eye on testimonials upon them, uncover what they're charging for charges, accomplish them in direction of check with thoughts, and many others. In just a pair conditions, article a venture on your own will need penned and enabling freelance writers employ, is authorized. Pretty slick.
Alright, therefore at this time that on your own comprise your marketing and advertising record and referral letter scripted, it's year in the direction of send out it out. Still be sure to use't just send it inside of a undeniable white envelope including all people else... you should! Receive an additional distinctive mailing deal or envelope with a small colour or sizing in the direction of it. What by yourself're seeking towa rds do is incorporate their eyes shift in direction of your envelope or box initially and open up it in advance of each individual other piece of ship they attain that working day. I'd as well urge oneself towards generate the mailing and return covers through hand consequently that by yourself make improvements to the "particular person" impression of your letter.
Believe concerning how oneself prioritize your ship. The precedence goes towards letters where by the sender hand-wrote the include, everytime! Inside addition in direction of the referral letter yourself wrote, the up coming detail yourself'll need to have is toward eliminate within a distinctive piece.
One particular of my mates, a daily life insurance coverage salesman, delivered out a identical mailing and provided poker chips with his get hold of articles upon them. His slogan upon the poker chips was "Dress in't Gamble upon Your Lifestyle". Utter brilliance! That's an instance of what I'm chatting relating to after it arrives in the direction of becoming artistic with your advertising and marketing, precisely together with the final true estate brokers do.
Starting to be again towards this referral letter, I'd advocate that by yourself place them not simply just toward your mobile phone quantity still in addition your world-wide-web or website. It's very important toward offer you them the alternative of how in the direction of call yourself. Oneself can hardly ever notice who hates chatting upon the cell phone and who hates searching at sites. Our very last may possibly be a lot more important than all the other people. The mom of all keys in direction of is "repetition". If by yourself visual appeal at promoting statistics inside total, it's been stated that potential buyers and potential customers require toward pay attention or view the exact same advertising and Construction Management Companies in NYC concept far more than 6-7 moments right before they seem snug more than enough in the direction of react.
As a result proceed right after up with Those experts upon your advertising and marketing listing. At the time your initially mailing, I'd suggest yourself towards comply with up with them via phone or one more letter above 1 season a thirty day period. Emailing them would be an choice as properly, if yourself contain it.
Still remember to be very careful pertaining to not suffocating them, Regretably on your own determine in the direction of comply with-up. It's a fantastic line still by yourself want toward explain to them why on your own need to be their "shift-in direction of" Real estate agent with out coming throughout within a impolite or disheartening layout.
Easy suggestion if oneself comprise the internet marketing income: lease a college or university little one in direction of procedure all People mailers and conserve on your own the season. produce the letters on your own however contain your employed-guidance things the envelopes with your letters and advertising and marketing elements.
The employed labor will be reasonably priced and by yourself can attention upon other factors which include household excursions and adhere to up phone calls.
Backside line, I only consider this is 1 of the greatest unbelievable marketing and advertising Plans for Realtors or brokers out there. If by yourself figure out Those interactions straight, they can crank out your self thus several potential customers that your self gained't have to have toward actively market or marketplace your genuine estate place of work within just any other route.
If by yourself actually provide this sort of specialists as considerably as on your own need to have them toward provide your self, your closings will boost and on your own'll effort your route up towards getting the greatest correct estate consultant inside of your local.
