#random genderbend AU okay XD

Hello! I was the one who sent the reincarnation au. At this point you haven't answered the 2nd ask I sent about this so I apologize for sending another one. Anyways, what if fem!Munakata was the only one who remembers their past lives? How would she treat everyone she knew back then when she sees them again especially Mikoto who she sees is now alive (and not much has changed from his past self)? Again, thank you. Reading you answer to my asks is awesome as they're really great!

Going back to this AU, so say we have fem!Munakata who just one day begins to recall the memories of her past life. Unlike Yata she's probably totally chill at being a girl now, like she simply finds this another new experience that this new life offers. Imagine she regains her memories like in elementary school too and her parents don't even really notice that anything’s changed because Munakata's already a weird kid in this life too, she already speaks in polite tones and acts a little too grown up for her age and she's probably a genius as well so there's not a lot of difference there. Munakata of course does wonder about her past life and what happened to all the people who were part of it, sometimes she'll be out running errands and see a flash of red hair in the crowd and she can't stop herself from turning to look (not that she has any interest in seeing 'that man' again of course, simply that if he is nearby too she must be prepared to see her workload increase).

Munakata enters high school and despite being a first year she immediately becomes class president and is like well known throughout the school. Maybe her first taste of meeting someone from the past is actually her vice president who's like gender-swapped Awashima, despite Awashima now being a tall handsome man Munakata recognizes him immediately (the anko sandwich in his lunch was a clue). Awashima is still a very loyal second in command but seems to have no memories of his past life and Munakata wonders if perhaps she is the only one who recalls things, like maybe this is a King thing. A year later when Fushimi and Yata enter the school Munakata's theory seems to be still correct, neither one appears to recall her at all (and she immediately makes a grab for Fushimi to join the student council, watching in amusement as female Yatagarasu-kun shows signs of jealousy towards her). That's when she hears some gossip about how the school delinquent has finally returned from like a months-long suspension, a person who the students compare to being like a wild lion. Munakata's heart beats a little faster as she goes to look, peering into the nearest classroom and she recognizes him immediately, Suoh Mikoto fast asleep on the teacher's desk.

Munakata pauses, adjusts her glasses and strides right in while all the other students are just hanging back and gossiping, her arms crossed as she pointedly clears her throat. Mikoto ignores her, still napping, and some of the other students worriedly suggest that maybe they should get a teacher. Munakata assures them that there is no need, standing on the teacher's chair and promptly kicking Mikoto right off the desk (the crowd at the door all have a small freak out, like Class President is going to get herself killed). Mikoto slowly rubs his head and looks up to see Munakata in all her glory glaring down at him, glasses shining as she tells him that school is not the place for afternoon naps. Mikoto snorts and reaches for a cigarette, which Munakata removes right from his hand. Mikoto wonders out loud who this girl is and maybe Munakata's heart drops, just a bit, but then she smiles like 'honestly, even now it's just the same' as she states that she is the student council president and it looks like it will now be her job going forward to turn this incorrigible barbarian into a properly motivated student.

Very random question, but do you have any good bagginshield fic recs or author recs?? I love the ship but I've read all the shorter ones and starting long ones without a rec is daunting. XD

A related question, do you like genderbend bagginshield? I love it because I'm always down for more badass ladies in fic, but I know some people prefer to aviod it. Both opinions are valid, imho, I'm just curious as to your preference. :D

OMG!!! Okay, I've read a lot of great bagginshield so far but I haven't delved that deep in the fandom yet! (i read a lot of barduil with bagginshield in it too which is nice)

as for genderbends- i haven't posted any myself because i used to see a lot of people saying they're transphobic and i didn't want to accidentally hurt anyone's feelings- but i haven't seen anyone say that in a while so I'm not sure how to feel anymore. i think (from my admittedly cis perspective) that they can be fun- it gives me a weird feeling when people genderbend to make a gay couple straight (by only changing the gender of one of them) but other than that they're cute LOL

haha XD I find that quick dab so funny for some reason…and the art is lovely. The butterfly theme was a great touch.

I think for as animation I prefer aizy-boy’s genderbends, and in terms of character designs Exadorlion is more my style (I mean aizy-boy’s designs are very pretty but Exaodorlion’s look more like the original actors. Plus their fem!Jefferson and male!Maria are just beautiful….seriously, I recommend any video with those two)

My ears are fine because my computer’s sound is being wonky, but I was kinda disappointed because I was looking forward to random static sounds and RIP headphone users moments XD

If I didn’t still feel weird about writing Hamilton fanfiction (because every time I try I’m reminded that it would probably make the real Alexander Hamilton turn in his grave) I’d at least try to write the Moana AU…but your picture is actually cute haha

Ok but it’s kinda weird to imagine the scene where Moana faces Te Ka in this AU because, wow. Alex calming Eliza down? The world is coming to an end

True, You’re Welcome is a bit over the top for Burr, but I still think he could sing it- just a different version. Instead of singing in Maui’s loud, energetic fashion, Burr would make it a little quieter and smoother, more like a ‘don’t be mad at me, see, I’m a nice guy’ song. Maybe with a slightly different instrumental as well.

(Maybe Burr would sing it a little like LMM and Jordan Fisher did)

I can never talk enough about Daveed Diggs’ hair. It’s enough to earn him demigod status.

ONE MORE THING: I just found out that Christopher Jackson was Chief Tui’s (Moana’s dad’s) singing voice.

This proves it. The Moana/Hamilton AU was meant to be.

Yup, the dabs quite random and lights up the atmosphere a bit. But the animatic as a whole is quite heartbreaking. Poor Phillip…

Okay, true. Exadorlion has more realistic character designs and they look more like the original characters, but aizy-boy makes cuter/more fluid animation. But I like the cutesy, happy versions more ^^ I’ll make sure to watch those videos as well.

Yup, you’re right, if Burr sang You’re welcome, it’d be calmer and more for the purpose of just escaping, not for showing off as well.

His hair is fabulous, I love it. But it’s probably a nightmare to deal with.
