In my current Jay/silent Bob obsession I watched the 2000s Clerks Cartoon. And it sure is a cartoon with jokes. I see why it was cancelled , but if there were like five Seasons of this shit it would watch them all. It is still kinda bad, sure some of the Jokes made me laugh but the humour is very of it’s time (I think, can’t remember the early 2000s I was a young child but it’s just making jokes in the dispense of minorities often; like haha no women, Randal Turns every girl into a butch lesbian, token Black character that get’s cut off every time he’s on screen, funny disabled characters bc).

It's also out of character (what I know from the og clerks), Inside Jokes are there and alright. The last Episode definitely was the worst even though what I like About this shit show is that it doesn’t take itself serious at all and they do most of that in Episode 6. I’m more interested in the backstory of Leonardo Leonardo than Randal and Dante, I only watched this shit to see Jay and silent Bob and they mostly delivered. It’s just what the hole askewniverse (as far into it as I am) is to me: Never before was I so invested in something I despise this much at the same time!

Also is Kevin Smith an alley because he writes so much gay shit? And when did he learn the word bisexual?

Clerks: The Animated Series Restoration Project

Hi everyone! I'll anounce ONE of my various ambicious projects… and this time is about Clerks.

The Clerks: The Animated Series' Restoration Project is a Google Drive folder that contains fan-made restorations of key art and promo art from Clerks: The Animated Series in standart and high definition for anyone to use.

At the time of this post; September 16 of 2024 the drive contains:

A render of Dante, Randal, Jay and Silent Bob.

A render of the Clerks Animated logo.

A recreation of the Title Card.

but I'll be adding more stuff in the future like other characters (Mr. Plug, Leonardo, Lando, other characters form the series.), backgrounds, alternative character renders, promo art, between other stuff.
