I currently imagine clothing for nobles as the garments seen in England and France in the 18th and 19th centuries, but I don't know for sure.

(Okay I know I said I may not be able to squeeze in any responses to the asks but then I saw this one again and I was so honored that anyone would want to draw my characters that I couldn't resist answering it :') If anyone else feels like drawing them please tag me! I would love to see how you guys bring these people to life in your art :') )

So uh, I'm not very well versed in fashion trends 😅 But what I can give you though are some manhwas/webtoons where the clothes are pretty close to what I can imagine the characters would wear!

From a Knight to a Lady (Prince Eozif's attire in Episode 99 is what I imagined Ædan's ceremonial dress uniform would look like for the wedding if you just switch out the dark green for blue, either a dark blue or the shade of his eyes. The uniform that Zed wears is also close to what I imagined for Sir Bertrand and the other knights. Oh! and Florence and Lucifela's wardrobes are also good refs for the dresses that would be worn)

Men of the Harem (especially Ranamun's and Latil's wardrobes for MC and other nobles)

The Age of Arrogance (Prince Carlisle's attire in Episode 2 minus the cape is pretty close to what I imagine Ædric would wear! He'd also have some versions where the gold accents are violet instead, and some where the black fabric is violet instead)

Aaand that's all I can think of at the moment 😅 For the armor, I'll have to get back to you on that after I do some research (aka go through the webtoons I haven't read in quite a while for some more art refs 😅) Really hope this helps and I'm so excited to see the art that you guys come up with!

Who is the male lead/ the real consort

Hi!

Woah, this is a tricky question. How should I answer this? I guess it all depends on what you call a male lead.

The novel was officially completed last year, and although I firmly believe that a spin off series will eventually be launched, those 1000 chapters are all we got right now. That being said, Latil does stay married to her eight consorts at the end of the series. So if what you’re looking for is to know if she stays with only one of them, then the answer is no.

However, if you’re weighing on whose the male romantic interest with more relevance throughout the story, then it wouldn’t be honest to say they all qualify to be the male lead. For instance, Meradim never had any romantic interest in Latil and viceversa, Klein appearances’ significantly decreased in the last two hundred chapters (he was basically non existent in the side stories and I dare to say long before that), and Ranamun/ Sonnaught were barely seen together with Latil after they became parents, Girgol was constantly leaving for long periods of time, Carlein is a similar case to Klein, and although Guesta was helpful to Latil, their frequent fights made their relationship grow cold at times.

For all I’ve listed, and because imo he was the most consistent romantic interest of all Latil’s men, I do think Tasir could be considered as the male lead. But again, this is just my opinion and my perspective about what I consider a male lead to be.

About the “real consort” thing. I do see them all as real. I mean, the purpose of a consort isn’t to be a romantic partner only, but a political ally as well. In that sense, I feel that the eight of them serve some kind of purpose to Latil regardless of how close they are to her (which they all are in their own way).

Have no idea what's going on with the other kids, but Guesta being so excited about his child is so adorable. He's planning to teach his kid black magic and everything about imperialism to throw off his competitors 🤣

Also, Guesta waited for Latil to have dinner with him but she didn't come. He couldn't believe she'd be with another man at this time, and stayed up the night waiting for her. She went to find Ranamun 😵‍💫

MOTH season 2 returns today (it said June 28 so I think it should be today…?) on Webtoon Latam, and the cover they posted is kind of more clearer than the original one from the raws. We can kind of guess the male leads easier here!! I kind of guessed Carlein, Sonnaught, Guesta and Klein, but I’m not sure about Guesta…
