What if Y/N is just like Yuuji though? Like, adjusting her likings according to people around her. (Maybe even lead to identity crisis since Y/N doesn't even have her OWN favourites? Ykwim.)

Oh, this got me thinking. I’m of similar mindset, so i get what you’re trying to say! (Thank you to my best friend for the help lmao.)

Although very hesitant since he is used to his main purpose of being a vessel, it would start slow. It would be a little hard for him to break out of those habits and lean more into his own personality. Slowly, he would push some of his influence, likes, dislikes and opinions onto you. It wouldn’t be very obvious at first since he doesn’t want to draw attention to it, but if you wield positive results to what he’s doing, it will continue and he will be less inclined to hide what he’s doing. It’s as if he’s the one pulling the strings instead of you. This probably isn’t an ideal situation.

If you react negatively, he will still try and figure out what makes you tick. Putting on the hat of observation and almost stalkerish tendencies. How do you react to certain situations? Certain stimuli? What do your eyes linger on the most? Who are you most comfortable being around? What makes you uncomfortable? What brings out your ‘stronger/inner personality’? Surely you must have some kind of things you prefer. He will go from there. (If you don’t, the scenario above will probably still go on, he will just approach things differently.)

I wouldn’t be surprised if he went to certain extremes to draw reactions out of you. Putting himself and others in danger or in… unideal situations. Or messing up your relationships with the other characters. Nothing explicitly malicious, though.

Even when you aren’t playing the game, there will always be that chilling feeling of something watching your every move.

yuuji adores collecting. if you were ever in the same place as him (aka twst or your own world), he’d be a casual collector of your stuff, nothing creepy or gross, but for the most part he just likes it in general. he’s a chronic kleptomaniac.

overall, his favorite things to collect are soda can tabs, pressed flowers (either given to him or made himself), and alarm clocks. he would actually really enjoy the white rabbit fest!

he also likes to game in his spare time, and enjoys casual rpgs and rhythm games. also, as previously mentioned, he likes to listen to music! sadly most of this stuff he doesn’t have much time to do, already occupied by keeping grim and adeuce out of trouble, and being an unlicensed impromptu therapist.

What kind of music does Yuuji love to listen to?

Yuuji likes whatever kind of music that you like (hacking into whatever music playlists you have saved, looked up, and the genres you listen to the most), but if you were to ask him what specifically is his favorite genre aside from yours, he would go with gothic/punk rock. Obscure, vampiric and almost… cold sounding. He also occasionally likes romantic oldies and… “Weird Al” Yankovic. Don’t ask.

(Fun Fact: I actually made a playlist inspired off of him!!)

Omg Yuuji loves actual goth music? I’m a goth myself and I def listen to most of the songs on his playlist. I feel like we’d get along well in terms of music taste.

He would very much enjoy listening to music with you, perhaps even sharing an earbud…? The thought makes him giddy.

soooo you guys hypothetically. if you had been friends with someone for threeish years and they were never the best friend (entitled, rude, generally unkind most of the time) and today you got in a fight with them over spring pictures and you said it was weird not to dress formally for spring pictures even though it says “dress formally” and they said you were calling them weird and you said it was embarrassing that they made everything about themself and they said that you embarrassed them all the time and they put up with it and you were sick and tired of it so you said ok i’m done i don’t wanna be friends anymore would that. would that have been the wrong thing to do?
