your dog loves you
content includes: haitani family, reader is their sister, fluff, literal fluff (like in poodles), they have a mom
"aw, how cute," your mom coos at a photo of a two month old baby poodle on his screen. before pushing rindou's phone out of her face and going back to slicing mangoes—bright, orange, and sweet, just the way that her kids like it.
"we should get it," rindou says, jumping slightly when mom shoots him a glare.
"absolutely not."
"you said it was cute," rindou argues and she scoffs, dropping pieces of mangoes on a red plate.
she gets up from her chair to wash her hands, "yes, i said it was cute—not that we should get it." mom rephrases her statement, grabbing a fork and stabbing it into a mango.
"even y/n and ran think we should get it," rindou tries to reason with her. "it's 3 v 1," he adds, shrugging.
"and the one person in question is your mother." she hands the plate to rindou who nearly drops it with his phone still in one hand. "now go eat the mangoes. save some for your siblings."
rindou watches her leave, muttering something under her breath about when they're gonna come home from work. mom's never been too fond of them coming home late from work, even though they're always back before dinner.
"mom said no," rindou informed with a mouth full of two sliced mango pieces, typing something on his pc.
"dammit!" you cursed, your voice slightly static coming out of his phone. you had tasked rindou with showing mom a picture of a cute puppy and asking if you could get it, but a part of you knew it wouldn't go well. it never does.
"i mean, were you expecting her to go 'yes omg we need this wittle cutie patootie'?" ran snickers, his eyes fixated on the road occasionally glancing at you in the passenger's seat.
you groaned, leaning back against the car seat. you really thought she'd at least consider if rindou was the one who asked. "but i want her! i want a fluffy cute dog to cuddle and play with," you whined, pouting as you stared at the puppy on your screen.
"hm, you know," rindou paused to swallow his food, his voice ringing through the speaker of your phone. "you know those videos of people showing their parents be affectionate with the pets they didn't want? what are the odds mom ends up like them?" he questioned, making you light up but ran wasn't convinced.
"like, zero?" he said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"but what if?!" you exclaimed, resisting the urge to nudge him since he's driving. there was a moment of silence and rindou is about to hang up, until you started talking again. "do you just wanna get her?"
"what?" rindou and ran said nearly in unison if it weren't for the call lag.
"did you actually..."
"yes. yes, i did."
rindou sighs while ran smirks and shakes his head in amusement. you and ran were home for a few seconds, telling rindou to get dressed and go out with the two of you. you had contacted the person, saying that you'd arrive in a few hours to pick up the puppy—the same puppy your mom clearly didn't allow you to get.
"and i just had to come along?" rindou raises an eyebrow and you give him a puzzled look.
"what? as if you were gonna stay home and work on that assignment you've been procrastinating for two weeks?" you call him out, leaving him speechless and almost offended. "that's what i thought."
"wonder how balancing work and class is going for you," rindou mutters, rolling his eyes and you stick your tongue out.
the button on your table beeps, prompting ran to get up and take your food from the counter. he comes back shortly, weaving through a line of hungry people. the smell of fried chicken and steam coming out of the sticky white rice makes you and rindou's mouth water.
"you told mom we were just going out to eat, right?" ran confirms, receiving a nod from rindou who practically buried his face in the food.
"yeah– hoh..." he lets out a heavy breath with his mouth full, feeling his tongue burning from the freshly cooked chicken and rice.
ran grimaces while blowing on his food—something rindou couldn't do before digging in. "slow down, bro—it's all yours."
"i'm starving."
"starving or can't wait to meet the new family member?" you chuckle before taking a bite of your chicken and mirroring rindou's previous actions. "hoh... 's hot!" ran shakes his head at his two younger siblings, a chuckle escaping his lips.
it was 11pm when the three of you arrived home, each one of you with a missed call notification from mom. you had underestimated just how much traffic there would be on a friday night and ended up arriving home later than usual.
"is she asleep?" you whisper, glancing around as you hold onto your furry friend.
"i bet she is–" ran says but is cut off by the sound of the downstairs bedroom door creaking open. the three of you stopped in your tracks as mom turns on the light in her half-asleep state.
"haha... surprise!" you laugh sheepishly, holding up the puppy that she can very clearly see.
you and your brothers had debated in the car over what her reaction would be, and it didn't turn out the way you expected. it wasn't a beating, it wasn't a five hour lecture, nor was it tears of joy (you're not sure why that would've been a possibility. this one was the most impossible of them all, but it would've been the funniest).
mom drags out a sigh, waddling towards the bathroom. "i won't clean her poop." she says with a deadpan before disappearing into the bathroom.
the three of you share a quick look before you and rindou cheered in unison, startling the puppy.
"yay! she didn't get mad!" you jumped up and down, not realizing ran had snatched the puppy from your arms.
"let's go to sleep, baby. don't mind those little noisy pricks."
it took one month. one month for your mom to get used to touching and petting maru. it took one month to get her even a little excited whenever maru did a new trick you taught her.
"maru, sit!" your mom would say with a treat in hand, watching maru squirm around impatiently and jump for the treat. "no, you did it earlier. do it again, come on!" you and rindou sat at the dinner table, watching mom test maru's skills. even rindou couldn't help the grin that would appear on his face whenever they played together.
four months in and ran would occasionally find mom sitting on the floor with maru on her lap as she brushes her curly fur with the expensive brush he bought online because the cheap ones they bought previously always broke and could never get through the amount of matting that had started to form on her fur.
after all, mom could never let it go that bad again. the last time they took maru for grooming, the groomer said she needed to have almost all her fur shaved off because they weren't regularly brushing her. mom and ran were the most devastated after picking her up, she was so skinny under all that fluffy fur. so you and rindou took turns brushing her with the new, and better brush everyday since ran was usually too busy to do that. it was never part of the agreement that mom would do it too, but she can't help herself sometimes. besides, maru seems to like snuggling in her lap and she's less squirmy when mom handles her.
whenever mom cuts slices of mangoes for you to share, she now cuts more slices into even tinier pieces and serves them in a smaller plastic dish. you can already guess which kid of hers got that one.
"aw, look at you. you love maru, don't you ma?" you giggle, taking a picture of mom and maru lying together on the couch like they've always been doing these days. a year passes and maru was only growing more affectionate with mom.
mom's phone rings when she gets a notification of the picture being sent to the family group chat, her sons replying with "aw's" and cute sticker reactions.
mom shakes her head, rolling her eyes. "no, i do not." she claims, her gaze never leaving her phone but her hand never stops scratching maru's neck.
"sure," you snicker, shaking your head as you leave them quietly so maru isn't disturbed.
mom claims that she doesn't love maru, and that she's a burden or a stinky burden, but she panicked when maru came back from grooming with an ear infection because the groomer got water in her ear one time.
or that one time when the four of you were sat at the dinner table and ran drops a single raisin on the floor while he's eating bread. he'll just pick it up later, he thought to himself. mom panicked when suddenly the raisin is gone and ran hasn't gotten up to throw it away.
rindou looked down to see maru under the table with an innocent expression. "i think maru ate it." he said, making everyone rise from their seats to check on maru before rushing her to the vet.
she panicked because she's made a list of all the human foods dogs can and cannot eat and has it all memorized.
mom claims that she doesn't love maru, but she's giving her medicine everyday until she gets better, sitting on the couch with her on her lap while she watches tv, taking videos of her when she's doing a cute trick rindou taught her to do, smiling from ear to ear when you or ran come home from work and greeted with the sound of her barking as she runs up to you.
the house isn't as clean as it used to be. scrunchies, squeaky toys, and fur are scattered in random places. once in a blue moon, maru might pee on someone's bed (but never on mom's). her paws get muddy and needs to be cleaned after a walk in the park, it can get tiring sometimes, but the house is visibly and audibly livelier. you and your brothers are off your phones more, laughing when maru does something funny like occasionally letting out a fart, you and rindou team up together to give her baths at home because mom doesn't trust the groomers anymore, and ran has a fluffy cuddle buddy every morning when maru sneaks in to his room.
mom may not realize it, but the three of you do.
"you think maru's favourite person is mom?" ran contemplates. you and rindou shoot him a look.
"we'll see about that." rindou says, grinning.
the next thing you know, the four of you were lined up next to each other, calling out to maru desperately to see who she'd approach first. ran couldn't help but laugh when he sees maru walking weirdly, confused over who's arms to run to.
in the end, she picks mom because she has her favourite snack hidden in her pocket. you and rindou share the same look of defeat, but all of you know that maru loves everyone equally. just don't forget the snacks.

Imagine the Haitani brothers having a baby sister who is a streetcar racer, driving a car the three of them modified when they were young.
In every race you participate in, you bet your ass they’re in the middle of the crowd cheering you on. Any mechanical pieces you need? It’s already inside the garage, don’t even worry about the money, they got it.
It didn’t matter that you do illegal street racing, your big brothers often even encourage it since racing could be a great benefit to Bonten.
In all honesty, you’re often their escape to when they almost get caught doing their illegal business, giving a sly smile to the police before entering your polished race car as you drove above the normal speed.
Rindou raised his middle finger to taunt them, laughing like a maniac as Ran gave a big kiss on your head, “You really gotta be a part of Bonten with your skills, Y/n."
“I’m only driving Nii-chan"
“Yeah, but a great one at that!"
*okay that’s all <;33

haitani's lil sis as the honorary bonten member :< she's not too affiliated with them , but they all adore her so much methinks..
mhm mhm !!! dis is sooo cannon i wish haitani lil sister was real :<
you doesn’t show as much around the gang, only when ran and rinnie are on a super tight schedule and you just happened to tag along. they don’t like you around the gang because they know that the grimy boys won’t be able to keep their hands off of you ; taking advantage of your cute flirtatious personality and tryin to grope yr soft body and give u kisses (^ω^)
they all surround you when you appear after months of being hoarded by your nii-chans, praising you and giving you lots of love. theyre sure to word their compliments carefully since they’re all on thin ice with ran and rinnie after years of trying to get a piece of their little sis >:33
although not affiliated much with the gang and especially the crime work of it all, one could say you’re just as malicious as your older brothers. you’re no better than your nii - chans , excluding the bloody works.
you pick up on their mannerisms easily, eavesdropping on their late night conversations on how to expand, and the next day you’re a different person. acting all big and bad in order to impress your older brothers, just to get mocked and laughed at till you’re all pouty and on the verge of tears ;( but don’t fret ! they’ll shower you with tons of kisses and sweet praises after, telling you that you don’t need to be involved in all the bad work that they have to do and to just keep bein’ their cute lil sis <3

The Lily of The Valleys
"We can never go back again, that much is certain."
╰---•❥ Written by: Lucielitta
This is the Introduction.
A Haitani Brothers x Younger Sister Fic.
Length: 1807 words
Another sorrowful night began in their shared apartment, a vast space that felt foreign to him now. The place felt lonely, cold, and heavy. Shadows clung to the corners of the room, stretching across the walls like an unwelcome reminder of another presence that had once filled this space.
Ran couldn't sleep, tossing and turning on the bed, each shift stirring up waves of guilt that clawed at his insides, refusing to let him find any peace. It was unusual, his mind was a relentless whirlwind, it was far from his usual composed and calm self because all he could see, all that replayed in his mind were moments that had slipped away-flashes of warmth and a sense of ease that now felt achingly distant.
Tonight was supposed to be different. It was meant to be a celebration, a day marked by laughter and the kind of warmth that only his family could bring. But now, all he felt was an overwhelming sense of loss, a gaping void where her presence had once shone. No matter how much light they turned on in this place, no matter how much music it filled-it still felt empty.
It had always been just Ran and Rindou. For as long as they could remember in this new life, they'd relied on each other, weathering every storm and sharing every silence. They were the Haitani brothers-sadistic, inseparable, sharp-edged, and bound by blood. In a world that demanded they trust no one, they had always known, without question, that they could trust each other and they'd stood back-to-back, two faces of the same ruthless coin.
Until, one day, she appeared.
The girl they'd thought was gone for years, in blurry flashes of memory they could barely remember, had suddenly returned. There she was, standing on their doorstep, her face a ghostly reflection of the family resemblance, yet softened, unfamiliar. The same colored eyes mirrored theirs yet vastly different from the story behind their eyes. She was no longer the child they remembered in their memories but had grown into a version of herself they hadn't been there to witness. She felt like a stranger, a piece of their past that had been snatched away from them so slowly yet too fast without a goodbye. Yet, there she was, real as the memories that felt like faint whispers until now.
It felt, for a brief moment, as if everything could finally be okay again as if he could bring back the closeness they'd lost through all those years of separation. He told himself he could rebuild their bond, and bring back the laughter and warmth that used to fill their lives when they were together. There was a spark of hope, fragile but real, that maybe-just maybe-they could be family again in the way they once were.
Ran tried his best to reach her. He sought out quiet moments to be with her, to create new memories that might help them both heal. He would crack jokes, nudge her playfully, and invite her to share things with him like they used to. They were moments where she let him close enough. But she wasn't the same anymore. She was... different, somehow, careful in a way that made his chest tighten. Her eyes, once so bright and open, now held a guarded look. She rarely met his gaze directly, as if she were holding back pieces of herself, keeping him at a distance.
There was a kind of hesitation in everything she did-a slight pause before she spoke, a cautiousness in her movements. It was as though she'd built invisible walls around herself that he couldn't break through, walls that held her safe but out of reach. She was polite, distant, and afraid of being truly seen. Ran could feel her slipping away even as she stood beside him, her presence more like a shadow than the little sister he remembered. It haunted him, gnawing at his thoughts every time he looked at her. The sister he had in his memories was gone, replaced by someone he couldn't quite understand. Her silence spoke louder than any words, a constant reminder of everything they had lost. And he wondered if he'd ever be able to reach her again, or if the person she once was had vanished for good.
He sat on the edge of the bed, staring blankly at the ceiling. It felt as if time had come to a standstill, the clock ticking away the moments he could no longer cherish. It felt like it was just yesterday, he had been planning something special-a day filled with little surprises and sweet moments meant to capture the spirit of family. Even just once in their rough lifetime, they can be one again. Yet here he was, surrounded by darkness, grappling with the suffocating weight of guilt. Guilt for not being able to protect her, for not knowing where she had gone or how to bring her back. He felt guilt for not being able to reach out to her, to connect with her, and for their bond again. The warmth of those happy plans had turned into the icy grip of reality, leaving him with nothing but memories of what could have been.
Ran pulled a pillow closer, burying his face against it as he tried to stifle the overwhelming rush of emotions. The blaring world outside had now felt eerily quiet and empty, a stark contrast to the noise of the comforting quiet presence that used to fill their home.
All he could think about was their sister, her bright eyes and infectious energy now silenced. He longed for just one more moment with her, a chance to tell her everything would be okay, to wrap her in a hug and never let go.
But now, the silence in the room echoed the unspoken truths-the things he wished he could change, the promises he felt he had broken.
The quiet settled around Ran as he left his bedroom and made his way to the living room, a restless ache urging him to move, though he had no destination in mind. His bare feet padded softly against the cold floor, and the light, from their big windows filtered in, casting pale, early-morning shadows across the walls. The apartment felt strange, hollow in a way it never had before as if it held secrets he wasn't quite able to uncover. This space, where he and Rindou had spent so much of their lives together, now felt unfamiliar, almost suffocating, like a silent grave for what was once missing.
Slowly, he sank onto the leathered cushions, it hugged him uncomfortably, as he stared blankly at the dark TV screen in front of him. His reflection stared back, the lines on his face etched deep, his eyes hollow and rimmed with exhaustion, it was far from his usual self. He looked at his hands, now clenched on his knees, fingers digging into the soft fabric of his pajama pants and into the skin beneath, as if grounding himself against the urge that pulsed inside him.
Ran felt the urge to retrieve the tapes-the ones tucked away on Rindou's shelf. The urge gnawed at him, but he fought it, barely holding himself back. Watching those memories again felt like a temptation he couldn't quite face, not after the way he and Rindou had last spoken about them. The "talk" they'd had was brief and heavy, each word weighted with things left unsaid. Neither of them had been able to look at those tapes since, leaving them to collect dust on Rindou's shelf, unmoving, a painful reminder that seemed to linger in every shadowed corner of the apartment.
It was pitiful, he thought, to be reduced to watching old footage on his birthday, yet the ache in his heart drove him. Their sister had loved to film herself, her bright smile lighting up the screen as she documented the world around her. The camera had been a hand-me-down from Rindou, a gesture that had been less about affection and more about teasing-a means for Rindou to express the frustration he felt toward her constant need for connection. Their relationship had always been rocky, with Rindou avoiding her attempts to bond, often leaving her feeling isolated and unwanted.
Now, Rindou lay sprawled on his bed, lost in a drunken haze after a night of clubbing that had spiraled deeper into sorrow since her disappearance. The alcohol had become his escape, a way to dull the pain of loss that he refused to acknowledge. He pretended it didn't hurt; he called her a runaway, deflecting his guilt as if the truth could be buried beneath a mountain of excuses.
"Get rid of the tapes," his little brother had said more than once, but the words hung heavy in the air. Rindou never could bring himself to do it. He still held onto those unseen memories, clinging to the hope that one day, they might all laugh together again, watch what she had filmed through the years they were separated, that they could find her and bring her back home. But he would never say it aloud. The pain of missing her was a burden he chose to bear alone, locked away behind his stoic facade.
Ran swallowed hard, his throat tight with emotion. He pressed play on the tape, and the familiar sound of her voice filled the room. The girl on the screen was innocent and carefree, her laughter bright and infectious as she introduced her latest project: a flower crown she'd made for him. Each frame felt like a bittersweet reminder of how much time they had lost, and as he watched her smile, the guilt washed over him in waves, drowning out the silence of the empty room.
"I'm sorry..." he whispered, the words stinging through his heart.
The tape continued to roll, showing snippets of their lives-her cooking with him, her tiny hands flour-covered as she tried to make the perfect cake, the way she would pout when things didn't go her way. Every moment brought a new pang of longing and grief, an unbearable weight pressing down on his chest.
He could hear the faint sounds of Rindou stirring in the other room, lost in his tumultuous thoughts, but Ran was far too absorbed in the memories to care. The TV flickered on, casting a soft glow in the darkness, illuminating the sorrow etched on his face.
As the memories unfolded before him, Ran felt the warmth of their past wrapping around him, a comforting embrace that both soothed and tormented him. The laughter, the joy, and the sense of family that had once filled their memories now felt like a distant dream, and he was left with the stark reality of what they had lost.

[01:00AM]
When Rindou was angry, silence was the most common tool. Being quiet made his thoughts louder, so all he needed was calm.
Ran knew that very well, he had "raised" him after all. The pout in his expression and the inability to keep his gaze in his eyes told Ran that something was wrong with him.
"Hiro says he doesn't like stuffed animals anymore".
Ran took the cigarette out of his mouth and smiled.
"They grow up fast, huh?"
“Ran, Hiro says he doesn't like dinosaurs anymore"
"And what is the problem?"
Smashing the cigar against the asphalt, Ran Haitani's huge body turned towards his brother. A slender hand rested on his shoulder.
"When you were 6 years old you adored those cartoons of a boy with red underpants. You spent hours and hours behind the screen"
"But that..."
"Let me finish".
Rindou looked at the screen of his phone. The photo of Hiro dressed as a superhero plunged the knife deep into his chest. He was growing. He was growing and there was no stop button that worked.
"When you turned 8 you told me you didn't want to sleep next to me anymore.".
"But that"
Raising his eyebrows was enough for Rindou to shut up.
"When you turned 12 you stopped talking to me about the girls you liked".
"What are you trying to tell me?"
“Hiro is going to keep growing. Just like you did. Just like I stopped doing braids. Just like everyone else does".
Rindou swallowed hard before looking at his brother. He was right, he knew it. But admitting it hurt more than staying in denial.
"Growing up is not bad. It means you're alive. It means that everything is fine".

Secrets Kept From Him Series Ran Haitani x Fem Reader Chapter 2 : Uncovered Secrets chapter 1 WC: 4590+ Resident: @enchantedforest-network TW: Past relationship with Ran, Disappearing, Slight Suggestive Themes, Angst, Drinking, Suggestive Language, Secret Child He Doesn't Know About (unedited) MINOR DNI 18+
It killed you as he softly spoke those words to you knowing you could hear the aching in his voice. “I missed you too..” you couldn’t help as the words fell from your lips.
It was becoming all too much for you to handle. You wanted to break down and cry in front of him. Ran pulled back slightly he saw your eyes fill up with tears ready to be spilled at any moment. You couldn’t let him see you like this, a complete mess. You began to wipe your eyes. You need to compose yourself and get back to your table. Maybe following him was a bad idea. You were so caught up in the moment you needed to leave. “I have to go.” you said trying to walk away but he grabbed your hand not letting it go. “She is mine…isn’t she…” he asked, looking at you. He had no doubt in his mind it was his daughter. He just wanted to hear the words come from you, wanting to hear that it was indeed his daughter.
You nodded looking down avoiding eye contact with him. “She is Ran….” Ran took a moment before speaking he took a deep breath and said “We need to talk to you about this.” He spoke in a more concerned tone. “I can’t have you disappearing on me along with my child,” he pulled out a pen and a piece of paper jotting down some notes.You could see his jaw flexing as he was trying to calm his nerves down. “Come to this address tonight at 10:30pm…. I will have Rindou escort you to the address.” Ran said even if you thought about leaving you couldn’t know Rindou was going to wait for you. “Ran I--” as you were trying to speak he cut you off.
“I will let you go back to her now…” Ran stepped to the side with his hands in his pockets as he began to walk away. “I will see you soon.”
As he began to walk away, his expression changed; he didn't know what to think after all these years. He was torn between glad you were safe but angry to see you with a secret you kept from him. Walking into the lobby he saw Rindou. “What happened?” Rindou followed his brother outside.
As they both exited out the lobby into the brisk cold Ran pulling out a cigarette and lighting it. Exhaling the smoke. “I told her to meet me at the penthouse… Can you bring her there before 10:30 pm…” he looked at his brother.
Rindous eye twitch “Look I don't want to get into your messy relationship with ______.” “I’m asking you as a favor from brother to brother… I can’t have her leaving with my kid again who is also your niece…I need to prepare for this encounter mentally…” Ran took a inhale of the cigarette a few mins a silence between the brothers as uber arrived a few mins later “Thank you Rin..I owe you one.” “Yeah yeah whatever.” he rolled his eyes seeing his brother get into the uber as they drove off.
‘shit ..shit…shit.’ you were saying to yourself as you began walking away. Your heart hasn’t stopped pounding since the encounter. Making your way to the table, your aunt saw a bit of distress look on your face. She didn’t speak a word until you both went back into the room.
Putting on a smile for your daughter as you tried to enjoy the rest of dinner with them. As you got back to the hotel room it was getting close to her bed time. “Baby it's getting late, why don’t you get ready for bed, okay?” you looked down at her daughter. She ran to the room where she had her items. You had your hand on your hips letting out a sigh. You felt the beaming eyes of your aunt looking at you. “What happened?” She asked.
“He saw us… He knows about (D/N)” you spoke nervously as it was getting close to the time Rindou was going to meet up with you. “What did he say?” she asked “he must have said something to you to make you jittery.” “He wants to talk, I know what he wants to talk about.” You sighed “Well he has every right to know why you left and didn’t tell him about the baby.” her arms crossed against her chest.
“But aunty I-“ you tried to talk but one of her hands halted your talking.
“I don’t wanna hear it.. This was bound to happen…if you were so worried you wouldn’t have moved back here. Like I told you when you just had D/N…if you planned on staying away you should have stood back in America and not come back to Tokyo…. Either he is gonna want to get to know her or not it will be up to him. If he does, you will need to work something out with him. You also have to understand if he is with someone else you will have to accept whether you like it or not.”
She was right. You knew the risk factors of coming back and you needed to accept them. Even if he was with someone else you would have to not let it interfere if he wanted to be apart of her life. “I get it… You're right…it’s just….” You couldn't finished sentence because you didn’t know how you felt about Ran right now. You switched your question. “Can you watch D/N?”
“Of course… Why don’t you go see her before you leave okay?” Your aunt spoke calmly. You nodded as you walked to the room. Your daughter was in her nightgown and she was in the large bed. “You look all cozy in that big bed.” you teased her. “Mommy are you going to come to bed now?” your daughter asked. “I’m actually going to go somewhere but I will be back before you wake up, your aunty is going to stay with you till I get back.” Sitting on the edge of the bed as you ran her fingers through her hair. “Where are you going?” she asked as she held her stuffed lamb.
‘I’m going to meet you dad…’ you wanted to say but you couldn’t. “Just an old friend of mommy’s.” putting a smile on your showing her not to worry you were gonna be okay. “Sweetie.” you cupped her cheeks. “Mommy loves you very much.” giving her the eskimo kisses. “I know mommy I love you a whole bunch too!” she cupped your cheeks back making your slightly giggle. “Get some rest sweetheart.” you kissed her forehead. After tucking her in you grabbed your purse and phone. You exited out of the hotel room entering into the elevator. As the elevator stopped at the lobby, your heart was pounding as you stepped out of the elevator. “Oi ______.” you heard Rindou’s voice with the familiar unfazed look on his face
‘Geez did they both go through a phase of changing their styles?’ you thought to yourself. Walking towards him. “Rindou, it's been a while.” “Well that's what happens when you disappear for 5 years and you don’t see the people you're used to seeing on a daily basis…” Rindou still with the familiar sarcastic tone as always.
‘Smartass as always… I guess some things never change….’ you thought to yourself. “Right…right.” you spoke in a low tone.
“Follow me, the vale is getting the car already.” Rindou began to walk towards the exit, you followed behind him closely. You could tell he didn’t want to be bothered with his brother's love life. You always maintained a good relationship with him because of when you and Ran were dating. But he was doing this for him, and yet if the little girl he saw was his niece he had to compromise. Getting into the car it was awkwardly silent for you both.
Your mind began to wander looking out the window. You remembered the day you gave birth to her.
~~~~~
You had just given birth a few hours ago, by yourself. Your daughter was sleeping in your arms . You were exhausted mentally, physically and emotionally. You could have blamed it on the pain from labor along with the lack of sleep or just pure guilt of doing this by yourself and not having Ran apart of this journey with you. Your bottom lip quivered a bit thinking about wishing he could have been here. She was your whole world now and knowing you had to do everything you could to protect her. She was swaddled in the blanket. You could hear the soft cooing coming from her as she slept. “It's just you and me sweetie…” cradling her in her arms. Pressing your lips softly against her forehead, “I promise to protect you with my life”.
You had a knock on the door “yes?” you called out to the door. “Hello Ms. we are here to get your informations for your daughter's birth certificate.” The admins from the hospital spoke. She was gathering the information from you. “What would be the last name?” she asked.
“Haitani…” you spoke.
“Do you want to add a father on the birth certificate?” “Just curious if I do put his name down will there be any chance of him knowing unless I tell him?” you asked The admin responded “you can always add him but you have no legal obligation to let him know you can always keep to yourself unless you want to collect child support.” “No no I don’t want to do that to him...I would like to add him to her birth certificate.” “What's the fathers name?” “Ran… Haitani.” as you said his name you looked down at your daughter.
~~~~~~~
Rindou was curious about the little girls that had the strong Haitani genes. “What's her name?” his eyes were on the road. “Her name is D/n Haitani.” you spoke in a low tone. The moment hearing his niece's name and her having the last name of him and his brother made him feel relieved yet bothersome. He knew his brother wanted a family, specifically a family with you the moment things became serious in your relationship. Ran had all these ideas planning out his future. Rindou heard every part of it to the point he was becoming annoyed with his brother. But seeing how it made him happy he just listened. When you left all those ideas vanished. His brother wasn’t the same after you left. The amount of blood shed to the extreme over killing someone. ‘Get the fuck a hold of yourself. She is not coming back, she is gone.’ he remembered telling his brother this and something inside Ran made him feel numb. “I want you to know something before seeing Ran…” Rindou gave you a side glance before returning his eyes back to the road. “He has changed since you left…Don’t think he is this sweet guy you knew from the past… Understand he had a difficult time adjusting when you left…” “Rin, look I’m not trying to get back with him. He was the one who wanted to meet up okay?” you spoke to him a bit snippy. Realizing how you must have sounded when he was just telling you information. “I’m sorry I just… I’m nervous, okay I hadn’t seen you brother in a long time. And we are in this predicament right now.. I'm sorry you got dragged into this.” The rest of the car ride was silent until you arrived at the building. “He is on the top floor, the door is down all the way to the left.” He parked the car. When you were getting out Rindou spoke “_____ sorry for earlier…“ he finally made eye contact with you. “It’s okay… I know you care about Ran, you guys are all you have... Thank you for bringing me.” you gave him a soft smile before got out of the car and began to walk into the building.
Ran was looking at his watch and it read 10:25pm. His brother texted him about 10 mins ago saying he dropped you off. He would have thought you would have been up by now. He decided to check and see if you got lost. When opening the large door he saw you. You were standing there for a good 5 mins anxious to knock on the door. “Did you forget how to knock?” he asked raising his brow.
“Oh um no I just…” your voice trailed off you began to rub her arm.
“Come in.” he opened the door wider to his penthouse. Walking in your heart was pounding once again. You were trying to control your breathing. Hearing the door closed Ran could tell the anxiety was spilling from you, your eyes avoided his. “Did you want something to drink?” “No it's okay..” your eyes wanted to wander the large penthouse filled with extravagant items. Ran still poured you a drink knowing you needed to relax your nerves a bit in order for you to talk. Bringing the drink towards your way “Here take a seat…” He took a seat at the end of the couch while you sat at the other side. He began to unloosen his tie and unbutton the first two buttons to get more comfortable. You noticed the small hickey that appeared on his neck you didn’t see earlier as it was covered by the collar. Ran noticed you looking at his neck. The intimate moment between him and Ms. Yamaguchi prior to him seeing you. “I think it's time we talk about what happened. But first, what's my little girl's name?” he brought his drink to his lips as he made eye contact with you as he took a drink.
“Her name is D/N… D/n Haitani.” you said.
He nodded at her name “you gave her my last name… I would have expected you to give her your last name since you left.” “I thought about it but I decided to give her your last name. You are your father.” you looked at your drink swirling it.
He let out a sarcastical chuckle “How kind of you…You gave her my last name but didn’t tell me about my daughter.. Better yet you weren’t planning on telling me it just happened I was there and that’s when I saw you both…” Ran spoke calmly yet you could hear the slight disappointment in his tone. “How old is she?” he asked.
“She is gonna be 5 in two weeks.” you went into your purse pulling her a photo of her. You handed it to Ran.
Ran looked at the photo of the smiling little girl. His heart dropped seeing how beautiful she was seeing all the features and how strong his genes truly were. “My little girl.” it was hurting him more. This wasn't what he had envisioned in his life. “I missed close to 5 years of her life and her not getting to know her father. Is that fair to her or me?” his smile disappeared. “Ran I get what I did wrong okay? I’m sorry if that’s what you wanted to hear. I’m sorry I left. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you about D/n." You were becoming a bit upset and defensive.
He slightly shook his head. “You don’t get it…You promised to be by my side… and then you were gone.. You broke that promise to me ______…You left while I was gone from our home we shared. Only taking a few items and you up and disappeared on me…Why? Why did you leave someone you supposedly loved?” You stood quiet…. You could hear the bothersome tone in his voice, something you weren’t used to. “I had to do what I thought was best for my daughter…even if it meant leaving someone I deeply loved to protect her. ” you furrowed your brows.
“Are you saying I wouldn’t have protected you or my daughter?” Ran asked, putting the glass down. He sat closer to the edge of the couch, his feet flat on the ground, his hands clasping between his thighs. He turned his head slightly looking at you. He was slightly offended by your words, he assumed you thought he wouldn’t have fulfilled his duties on protecting you both.
“Ran just listen okay? I brought it up to you many times about how I worried about you. You always seemed to not take my concerns so seriously. Did you ever consider what it made me feel, what you did for a living at the time and how I worried about your safety.” you took a deep breath closing you eyes, you had a crackle in your voice and needed to calm down before you spoke again. “What would have happened when someone wanted revenge because of someone you killed? They would have gone after your loved ones. Me or your daughter. You think those sons of a bitches would have given a damn gunning one of us down. What would have happened if that happened huh? It would have hurt you way more than this…. I couldn’t risk my life or your daughter's life…I understood when being with you and what kinda business you were in but it changed when I became pregnant Ran…” your emotions were coming out a bit more. “ I don’t expect you to forgive me for what I did but understand where I’m coming at the time your girlfriend was carrying your baby…Every single night I was anxious about getting a call from someone saying you were dead because of a bad deal.” Ran remembered you constantly bringing up to him about how you worried about him. Just the last time you worried about him, you were attending to his wounds. He didn’t want you worrying about him at the time. Sometimes he slipped up. “I would have made sure nothing would have happened to you both. I would have protected you both with my life… But I guess you made that choice without talking to me.” Ran could understand your worries but you had to see if from his point of view you didn't have to leave the way you did. “The woman that you're with, who is she?” “My mothers sister… Her and my mother have not been on great terms since I was young. But my mom made a point for me to get to know her. My mother just found out about the D/n she was upset not knowing about her granddaughter.” you place the glass down knowing that was another issue you had to deal with that didn’t involve him. “Ran look…I won’t force you to see D/n if you don’t want to… I get it…I decided to have her she is my responsibility” “What makes you think I wouldn’t want to know my own daughter? You didn’t give me that choice...” he sighed it
You nodded “If you want to see her, we can make an arrangement for you to meet her… It's going to be a new experience for you both and I think it should be taken slow..She is a rather bashful child when you first meet her. She may not open up right away.”
“I see… When do you want to make this arrangement?” he asked.
“We will arrive at the new house tomorrow. You can come over tomorrow and meet her if you want.” offering him the day.
“I can make that work…” he said. After going over the rest of the detailed planning with Ran he was curious about a few more things. He was used to holding you close to him exchanging kisses between one another. Just seeing how reserved you were right now he couldn't help but ask, “Did you find someone else when you left?”
“I didn’t have time to date while raising a child. I can see you kept yourself busy though.” you looked at the hickey on his neck once again finishing the last of your drink. Looking at it was bothering you, seeing how fresh it was too.
“Well this is how you wanted it.” Ran came back with a quick response. “You right, maybe I will have enough time to do that now since I’m here.” you looked at the time on your phone then back at him.
Ran smirked “right right…” he didn’t find your response amusing. But he couldn’t say anything since you both aren’t together. At one point maybe there was just that small part of him that wanted to grab you and pull you in for a kiss. Yet he couldn’t do it with everything going on and how rocky you both were with one another you both needed time to process this.
“I should get going. It's getting late and I will see you tomorrow.” You got up from the couch. You began walking to the door. Ran got up right behind you following you to the door, before your hand reaches the door knob. He reached it first, opening the door for you. So many things he wished he could do right now but he was hurt. One of them was to bring you back into his home and not let you go. But seeing how you were reacting to the hickey on his neck it wouldn’t have been a good idea. He still found you attractive and for him to have you as the mother of his child.
“_______” he walked you to the elevator pushing the button.
You looked at him. “Yea?”
“What does she like?” he asked.
“She likes tea parties, flowers, and dressing up. A typical 4 year old going on 5.” you smiled He had a small smile “I’ll see you both tomorrow.” “See ya tomorrow… also make sure you cover that up before you get there” you pointed to your neck mimicking the hickey on his. The elevator door opened as you were pressing the button for the lobby.
Before the door could close Ran kept the door “Is that jealousy I smell on you?” His voice was smooth.
“Don’t flatter yourself…” you sighed, you wouldn’t admit your jealousy about it. But you couldn’t tell him what not to do, since he was technically a single man. Who had hoes in different area codes. On the other hand you were a single woman and he couldn’t tell you what you couldn’t do either. “I don’t want D/n to ask about it when she meets you tomorrow. I mean you're all about making good impressions right?” His hand released the door, he knew it bothered you. You could be read as an open book by him but it also went the same way around. You knew him like the back of your hand. There were a lot of unsaid things you both didn’t say to one another as you both looked into one another's eyes. There was that gleam of loneliness in his violet eyes because he would be alone once again when you left. Nothing could come out of either of your mouths as the elevator closed and Ran gave you a small smile. “Till tomorrow.”
You had a small smile, as the elevator door closed. You were trying to process everything that happened. Your hands ran through your hair taking a deep breath. Memories of you and Ran when you both were together were hitting you all at once. You needed to keep it together till you got back to the hotel. The car ride with Rindou back to the hotel was silent until he said “Ran is going to meet D/n?”
Nodding at his question “yeah he is going to meet her tomorrow. You will meet her soon too.” you gave a grimace smile. Rindou analyzed your tone and expression, he knew there was a part of guilt eating you up, along with a mixture of still having feelings for Ran. It was painfully obvious to him. This was between you and Ran with all the underlying feelings for one another he couldn’t get involved in that part. Still he was wondering if his brother would still see the different women he grew accustomed to over the years or if that would stop and possibly rekindle the old flame.
Arriving back at the hotel “Thank you for the ride Rin.”
“Your welcome… I’ll see you around.” He spoke. Rindou watches as you enter the hotel. Taking a deep breath he drove off to his place for the night.
Getting into the hotel room. Your aunt was still up at 12:35am. “I’m sorry I got back so late, how was everything?” You asked her.
“Everything was fine. She was asleep when you left… How did it go?” She asked.
“He is going to meet her tomorrow…” you looked down picking your nail.
She lightly smacked your hand “relax okay? I know it’s different but at least you will have some help with her father being in the picture. A little girl should know her father.”
“Yea…” you wanted to change the subject “did you want to stay here tonight or I can have a taxi take you home?”
“I’d rather sleep in my own bed,” she said. After about 15 mins the taxi was down stairs. You both said goodbye to one another as she left the hotel room.
Sitting on the couch, it finally hit you that he was going to meet his daughter tomorrow. The thoughts of what ‘if you didn’t leave’ filled your mind, would you both be married? Have more kids? Would you both be living the life you dreamt off? You kept thinking of the hurt expression on his face of how much he has missed his daughter, growing up without him knowing. The tears from your eyes fell to your cheeks, as you began to sob on the couch. All these tears you locked away for years couldn't be contained anymore. You tried to repress your feelings, you failed.
You felt exhausted from the long day. You changed into your pajamas. Walking into the room where your daughter was sleeping. Carefully get into the other side of the bed so as not to disturb your daughter's slumber.
The following morning your daughter was the one who woke you up. “Mommy, wake up! We get to go to our new house today!” You could hear the excitement in her voice.
Your eyes are a bit swollen but you managed to open them to see the big smile on her face. “Okay okay I’m up.” You slightly chuckle sitting up in the bed. It took about an hour and a half for you to both get ready to leave the hotel. It would take an additional 25 mins to get to the home you bought. This would be the place you both would call home now. Entering the home you saw all your furniture from your prior home there. It was more than enough room for you and your daughter. You saw the excitement in her eyes as she ran up stairs to see her room. You could hear the exciting squeal coming from upstairs from her.
Not even 5 mins of being in the home you heard the doorbell ring. He was here already, walking to the door. You took a deep breath opening it to find Ran there. “Good morning.” He had his signature smile on his face and in his hand were two bouquets of flowers. One of them was smaller than the other.

Let's suppose that reader is the younger sister of the Haitani and she starts dating, idk, kakucho... how would the Haitani react?
Kakucho x Haitani!Sister
♡ SFW, Ran and Rindou are overprotective brothers, reader is the youngest Haitani ♡
note: well damn anon, you didn't have to be so assertive in the beginning of the request 🥲 but in all seriousness this is a cute idea
note 2: If you've made a request or plan to make one, please be patient with me because I'm unfortunately coming down with a cold and feel like garbage lol
❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀
🌹 When Ran and Rindou first found out Kakucho was seeing someone, the last person they expected it to be was you
🌹 They looked at Kakucho like he had committed a crime by dating their little sister
🌹 Interrogate you two on how you met and what your relationship is like
🌹 They don't really mind you dating, they just don't appreciate the fact that you didn't tell them sooner
🌹 Ran is especially dramatic about it
"I can't believe it, how could you not tell us you were dating our friend y/n? The absolute betrayal!"
"Ran, please shut up."
🌹 They're super supportive of your relationship, but they're still your brothers and they make sure to remind Kakucho of that
"We respect you Kakucho, you're one of our closest friends and-"
"If you ever hurt our sister's feelings we will break every bone in your body ♡"
🌹 They know you're in good hands and try not to bother you about your relationship too much
🌹 If you had to date someone, they're glad it's Kakucho

Please I NEED to see Izana, Kakucho, Ran, and Rindou (seperate) do the Huapango dance with reader could I request that pretty please? 🙏🏻🙏🏻
But it's completely alright if you don't do this one! ❤
Hello. Of course I can make this happen. I do want to let you know, I watch a few videos on this. Sorry about the wait. I hope you like it.
Izana, Kakucho, Ran, and Rindou x Reader: Do the Huapango Dance
Izana Kurokawa:
Refuses at first
He doesn’t dance
But when your father says that only real men dance, he is on the dance floor no time flat
He grabs your hands and then realizes
He has no idea how to do the Huapango dance
Not a clue
As you two move, you give him instructions and he picks up on it very fast
He looked like he had been doing it for years
You were so happy when you caught him smiling
You got to dance with the boy you love
He proved to your father that he was a real man
This was perfect
Kakucho Hitto:
He did his research before he went out with you
He want to know about your traditions so he wouldn’t do something wrong or make a fool of himself
He was nervous when you asked him to dance at your sister’s party
He never really danced before
Especially with a pretty girl he loved
He started dancing and you were shocked that he knew what to do
He explained to you that he did research because he didn’t want to come and embarrass you with how little he knew
You told him that everyone in your family loved him and that even if he knew nothing he would still be loved by them
He calmed down a little bit now
But you were a little mad at him
He made you look like a complete amateur at the Huapango!
Rindou Haitani:
He sent hours practicing before you two were going to dance.
So much time.
Yet when he started doing it with you, he was a mess
It was like he had two left feet
He kept stepping on your toes
Making the wrong turns
It was really bad
He ran to the bathroom to calm down
His brother gave him a speech about how he needs to get back out there and focus
So he did
It went a lot better
Your feet were safe
But he barely made eye contact
He was too nervous about making it perfect
But you were happy he tried and it was fun
You probably won’t ask him to dance with you again though
Just so he doesn’t panic again
Ran Haitani:
Like Kakucho, he did his research
Unlike Kakucho and Izana, he wasn’t very good
He has bad eye site and refuses to wear his glasses
Especially in front of people he wants to respect him
Well, that didn’t end well.
He stepped on your toes
He stepped on other people’s toes.
He almost fell twice
It was a disaster
He eventually sat down and sulked
But thankfully your father came to the rescue.
He sat next to Ran and told him about his first time doing the Huapango dance
Your dad messed up so badly he took out a table
30 years later he married the girl who’s party he was at
Ran felt better
He might not be a great dancer, but if he can make you happy that was all that mattered

Secret
Summery: Rindou and reader have been dating in secret, and when reader finds out Rindou had injured Angry in a fight, she has no other choice but to confront him.
Pairing(s): Platonic!Nahoya Kawata x Platonic!Reader x Platonic!Souya Kawata, Rindou Haitani x Reader
Warning(s): Angst with happy ending
Credit to: @lostsomewhereinthegarden for the idea!
A/N: This would be a one-off, idk if within the series the kawata sister (reader) would be in a relationship with anyone. But, there is going to be a mini series where she does actually get a boyfriend. However, that’s not gonna be canon to the actual Kawata Sibling series either lol. Just for fun really.
“I feel like I could have helped out more if I showed up to the fight. I’m worried about Souya.” Y/n says as she helps her oldest brother onto his wheelchair. “Also you’re not suppose to be out of the hospital yet dummy. You too Mitsuya.” Y/n mutters, Mitsuya chuckles awkwardly. “Yeah. I know.” Smiley was insistent on leaving early. And once he decides to do something, he does, and no one can stop him. “Don’t want to help out your brother and friend in need? How cruel.” Smiley teases. Y/n rolled her eyes. “I don’t care to help. But like I said, I’m worried.”
“Mhm. Me too.” Smiley nods. “I think you guys are too paranoid.” Mitsuya speaks up. “Those guys can handle it, they’re unreasonably strong. You two don’t have anything to worry about, they’ll pull through.” He says with a confident smile. “Of course there strong. That’s not what we’re worried about.” Y/n tells him. “It’s Souya, I’m mostly concerned with.” Mitsuya gives you a confused glance, before he could question you, Smiley spoke again.
“I bet he’s crying right about now.”
“Crying?” Mitsuya raises an eyebrow. “When Souya cries…he turns into a monster. He’s even stronger than me when that happens.” Says Smiley lowly. “He might up killing someone.” Y/n’s voice trembles slightly. Mitsuya was shocked. He had never seen Souya in a state like they’re describing. Was it really that serious? That intense? “There’s gonna be some pretty ruthless fighters there too.” Mitsuya sighs. “Especially those Haitani brothers. They’re no joke.”
Y/n froze. Haitani brothers? Did he mean…those brothers?
“Haitani brothers?” Y/n looks to him, Mitsuya noticed her near panicked expression. He nods. “Ran and Rindou Haitani. You know them?” No. No way. It couldn’t be them…it couldn’t be him fighting. Now Y/n had more than one reason to be worried. Her brother could kill someone, not only that, but he would be seriously injured by Rindou or he would end up seriously injuring Rindou.
She didn’t want either of those outcomes. She didn’t want her brother hurt.
“Y/n? Are you ok?” Smiley asks, noticing her shaking shoulders.
And she didn’t want her boyfriend to be hurt either.
Y/n had never been so sad, relived, and angry all at once like this before. Sad her brother Angry had suffered such serious injuries, relived that he came back alive, and angry that her boyfriend was the cause of it all. She knew Rindou was a delinquent, but he never said he was in a gang. Not only that, he was responsible for hurting her friends as well as her brother.
Eventually Y/n had to come clean about her relationship with Rindou. Mitsuya agreed to stay quiet about it for now, but advised she be honest with the rest of Toman at some point. As for Smiley and Angry. They were less than pleased. They didn’t blame her for not knowing Rindou was in a gang. But they weren’t happy about her dating him.
They didn’t control her, they knew at some point Y/n would get into a relationship if she chose to do so. But the fact she was dating Rindou of all people, made them unreasonably upset. Again. They can’t tell her what to do, but they made it clear they didn’t approve of her and his relationship.
And honestly. Y/n was on the fence herself. After that fight, she and Rindou hadn’t talked. Rindou had actually reached out to her a few days after, but she ignored him. The more he tried to call or text, the more she would ignore it. She wasn’t sure if she wanted to see him right now, let alone talk to him.
Eventually, it got to the point where she couldn’t ignore him anymore and agreed to meet up with him.
Rindou waited for Y/n at a near by park late that night. She snuck out of the house to see him, and when she arrived, she didn’t make the first move to speak. She just stared at him, taking note of his still recovering wounds on his face. Souya was responsible for that for sure. That fact alone slightly calmed and satisfied her anger.
Rindou finally spoke. “Hey…” Y/n nods her head. “I guess you found out. And that’s why you’ve been ignoring me.” Again, she nods. Rindou sighs. “I was going to tell you. But, I knew that you were in Toman at that point. You have to understand why it would be difficult for me to be honest.” It was true. Typically, two people from different gangs trying for a relationship, wouldn’t end well for anyone.
Y/n did understand that much. But she was still angry. Eventually she spoke. “A lot of that could have been avoided if you were just honest.” She muttered. “Could have saved us both a lot of heartache.”
“Would you have broken up with me if I told you?” Rindou asks. Y/n couldn’t ignore the slight tremble in his tone as he asked that. His expression might have seemed calm, but his body language said otherwise. He was tense, nervous, perhaps even scared.
“I…I don’t know.” Y/n sighed. She really did like him. He might have been a smug, sarcastic jerk sometimes. But he made her happy. And she made him happy, whether she knew it or not. Rindou likes her just as much, if not more. Which is why it was all the more painful to say these next words.
“I understand if you want to break up. It’s my own fault.” Rindou started. “I should have been honest from the beginning. That fight couldn’t have been avoided, but at least you could see me as just some other punk who was trying to hurt someone you loved.” He said, referring to her brother. And maybe there was some truth to that. If Y/n knew he was in a gang, maybe she would have put a stop to her feelings for him right then and there. She would have hated him for hurting her brother. She might have even tried to beat him down herself when she got the chance.
But Y/n be a liar if she said that was true.
Even if she did know from the start. She would have stilled loved him. It would have hurt, but she couldn’t ignore her feelings.
When you didn’t answer him right away, he sighed and tried to pay no mind to the deep ache in his chest. “I’ll leave you alone. I’m sorry for lying to you Y/n.” Rindou says before turning to leave. Finally, Y/n made a move. She reached for his hand to stop him from going anywhere. Rindou freezes and looks back at her. “Y/n?”
“Don’t go making those kinds of decisions on your own. I’m not done with you yet.” She mutters, looking down at the ground, hiding her face and the tears that pooled in her eyes. “I don’t want you to leave.” She finally admits. Rindou felt her hand squeeze his as she spoke with a shaking voice. “I hate you for lying to me. And I hate you even more for hurting my brother. But…”
Finally the tears came streaming down her face. She couldn’t hide the sobs that left her while she spoke.
“I love you too much to let you go.”
Rindou wasted no time, he pulled her in and hugged her close to his chest, petting her hair soothingly as she cried. The two stayed in each others embrace for another moment before speaking again.
“I won’t go anywhere.” Said Rindou. “Not as long you want me to stay.”
Y/n sniffed. “Good. Also…”
Rindou looked down at her expectantly, waiting for her to say something. He then groaned as he felt her fist collied with his gut. It wasn’t enough for him to double over in pain, but enough to get her point across.
“That’s for my brother you jerk!”
Rindou laughed weakly. “Yeah. I deserved that. Speaking of…” He held her a little tighter. “What do your brothers think about this?”
“They hate it.”
“Figures.” Rindou sighs. “I don’t blame them. I’d hate me if I were in their place. What are we gonna do now?” He asks. Y/n shrugs. “Only they and Mitsuya know. And they aren’t telling anyone, they want me to. But…” Y/n leans up and kisses Rindou on the cheek. “We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it.”
Rindou chuckles. “Good luck with that.”
“You’re telling them too.”
“Huh!?”
“I’m not doing this by myself! It’s the least you can do for lying to me!” Y/n says firmly. Rindou sighs. “Alright. I’ll do it.” Y/n smiles warmly and nuzzles into his chest. “Good. I’ll hold you to it.” Rindou couldn’t help but smile too, he gave her a quick kiss on the head. “You better get home. I’m sure your brothers won’t be to happy about you sneaking out.”
“How are you so sure I snuck out?” Y/n asks. “Because since when do you do anything you’re not suppose to without being sneaky about it?” Rindou counters. “Fair.” Y/n shrugs. “Just a few more minutes though.” She says, hugging him tight. Rindou rolled his eyes with a grin.
“Whatever you say.”

Hello could I request bonten Rindou x pregnant reader when they are hanging out with bonten in hideout and reader started to feel pain in stomach but it was only baby kicking and Rindou came and started to carry her stomach to help her a little and bonten was so soft bc of pictures in front of them. They look at reader as bonten's princess yk like little sister, especially Ran(everyone except Rindou ofc)
Thanks
Pairing: Rindou Haitani / Female Reader (Ran Haitani and Sanzo Haruchiyo) Content: Pregnant reader, pregnancy, mentions of "idiot" being used as name-calling, slight mention of alcohol/drug dealing. Author's Note: Ah. So I tried my best to work this prompt. (Also, I'm a little behind with my reading my manga so please don't come for me, ah.) Nevertheless, I still hope you enjoy! Beat me up.
Another night of you hanging with the regular group of men. Laying back on the fine leathered sofa, you can't help that looking at them banter around brings back memories. Both good and bad, you really appreciated being in their company, regardless of how certain questionable things fly your radar.
You dismiss them rightfully so, as you were right by your right-handed man, now holding something special inside you. Life.
"Of all the women you messed around with, you got me pregnant." You chimed in with the bantering as the man that you laid your life to looks at you with a questionable look on his face.
Women's intuition strong, you busted out laughing before holding your stomach in place, not disturbing your child with the intense shaking of laughter. Rindou always gave you those looks. You assumed it was one of his signature looks that he gave you while spouting your typical nonsense.
You didn't think it was nonsense. It was the truth, and nothing but. Being through everything with him and for the other fellow members, you would have left him, but you sense something in Rindou. Despite his sadistic nature, and the willingness to remain loyal to his men, you saw a soft side to him. One that had made you faithful to him since day one.
He placed his hand over your stomach, feeling the faint, painful kicks that fluttered your body. "You are so smart, you know that?" Pressing buttons was his well-known trait , and even seeing that you're pregnant, you would think he would let off easy with the tasteless remarks.
"And you have a smart-ass mouth, you know that?" You slowly rise up from the couch with a grimacing look on your face, Rindou's hand still on your stomach. He noticed your expression, and you nodded your head in agreement, noting to him that you were okay.
"Easy." He guided you from your standing position, now in the back of you with both of his hands slightly carrying your stomach.
"Idiot, no cursing in front of the child." He chuckled while slowly caressing your stomach. You couldn't help but to roll your eyes at his dry humor. Entertaining at least, but sometimes it can come off at moments where you just had enough.
"It's not like she can hear." You scoffed. "Hey, Ran."
The brother of Rindou looked over at your direction over by the couch, a whiskey in hand and wonder in thought. "Yes?" You overhear his question while it then got drown by Rindou placing small kisses over the back of your neck.
"Do you think babies can hear cuss words?" A senseless question that didn't need answering. You were curious about Ran's answer. For some odd reason, you felt like Rindou was rolling his eyes while kissing you. You didn't question it.
"They can hear words, but I guess those words aren't registered in their language or whatever." Ran takes a sip of his whiskey and laughs. "But I can go in depth another day, _______"
"Yeah, let's save that discussion later on." Rindou continues to pepper kisses all over you, ignoring half of what Ran said about your question.
"Ah, come on, Rindou, let's learn something from your brother, at least."
Rindou looks at Ran with a blank expression before nipping at your collarbone, making you jump from the touch of his teeth skirting over sensitive. "What he needs to learn is how to push. Profit is slowly declining from different areas in the city." He mutters to himself, before lowering his tone. "It'll be a bitch and a half to push weight in the red-light district. Cops are getting worse."
Hearing his brother with the usual complaints, Ran looks at him with a questionable look similar to his brother's counterpart. "I know that." Looking at the glass of whiskey in hand, Ran changes the subject by looking at you with a reassuring smile.
"When is she due, _____?" He asks. "I saw the ultrasound pictures of her and the group chat won't shut up about it."
"Can't help it. When she comes out, we'll make her a true member. The first female!" Sanzu chimes with excitement as he comes from one of the rooms in the hideout.
"My child is going to have an education, thank you." You disagreed with Sanzu's word of choice as you walked away from the couch, Rindou aiding you with walking.
"She can have an education, too." Sanzu includes before sitting down on the couch that you were previously on.
"My child is already tampered with the things going on here already." Rindou sighs. "Anyway, where's the rest of the gang?" Rindou looks around the room in search of more of the members, but only Ran and Sanzu were present. You looked at him with a face of slight disgust before complaining yet again of his mouth. "It's my child too, idiot." Rindou looks at you, surprised, before going back to look the other members who were looking at you with slight smirks on their faces.
"They're at the club with some other affiliates. Usual conference." Ran stiffens a laugh with taking another swig of his whiskey.
"I swear, she acts like a little sister to you," Sanzu laughs. Ran couldn't help himself, but to let out a soft chuckle. "I'm afraid Sanzu's right." Sanzu looks at him in confusion. "What you mean by that?"
Ignoring his question, Ran turns to face Rindou and then you. "A little sister to us, and a true woman to him. You lucked out, _____."
"We care about you, ______." Ran smiles. "Even in this lifestyle, we still care about our loved ones. Remember that, please."
Your cheeks feel hot due to embarrassment and you couldn't help but to look down at the floor before looking back at Rindou who placed a kiss on your lips.
"You can say the most pretentious shit, Ran." You feel a trail of lips slowly crawling to the top of your neck. "Even though she's my lady, she can be a pain in my ass," Rindou scoffed while smiling at you, planting a kiss before you continued on with your rants.
The tiredness of your pregnancy was an excuse to not go in with Rindou, as you continued to roll your eyes out of annoyance. You question your child's future with having your partner and yourself be affiliated with a dangerous organized like Bonten.
Nevertheless, you're grateful for your situation, regardless of how a mess it is. You're rich in everything.
Rich in having a man that cares for you deeply despite the bad consequences he lands himself in.
And rich in having a girl that both of you will love and cherish deeply, despite the circumstances that'll make you worry about her upbringing in this situation.

Can anyone help me find this Bonten trio x reader ff?
The first chapter started (it started when they were in kanto manji gang) with reader at the club with their older sister and danced/flirted with Ran before her sister realized he was part of kanto manji gang the they were getting chase by Ran, rindou, sanzu and Hanma and the others
Reader was drunk and got them caught, ended up vomiting Sanzu's uniform and apparently her sister stole/bought drug from kanto manji gang and is due on money and reader's sister just wanted to steal her ID card or smth? And in the end reader had to work for the Haitani brothers as a dancer over at their club
I remember the writer is Canadian and there was quote saying 'the girl who brought the Bonten trio together' or something like that

Forget-Me-Not
╰---•❥ Written by: Lucielitta
This is the Introduction.
A Bonten Haitani Brothers x Big Sister Reader fic.
Lenght: 888 words
Notes: How's this? ( ˶ˆᗜˆ˵ ) Let me know if you have requests, ideas, or suggestions, I'd love to hear it!
"Tsk, You're useless."
A pained gasp croaked through the man's battered lips, its tall, tender frame tumbled down the mottled soil while his body tensed and was forced to entangle itself In the mossy mess.
"A single shot isn't enough for him, Aniki." Rindou narrowed and a disdained look splattered his usual sly expression.
His violet eyes rolled at the crumpled mess on the ground, hinting no remorse nor forgiveness in his gaze that fixated on the man twisting in agony.
The vivid hues of purple and blue's on his roughed skin tore a blood-way within him, how battered he is; a mark of his insignificance to the eyes of those who wield power over him.
Pursing his lips into a sardonic sneer, Ran tapped his index on the gun impatiently, making a mockery out of him as he stepped forward towards the writhing nuisance. "I don't have patience for little bastards," The eldest yawned, lightly flicking the slender roll of nicotine that dangled in between his lean fingers, lighting the burning embers off his nicotine. "It'd be better to leave him dying." A bubble of ashen air escaped his lungs with a low chuckle, his mind immersed in the torment of the pained seer by the man below.
All the while his calm mask still held onto his face with a sly smirk as he dragged on, "It sounds more thrilling, don't you think?" Ran piqued. He discarded the stick of cigar onto the man's reddened side as his smirk soon faltered, walking away from the scene with his hands in his pockets. Disappointment replaced his expression as he handed the gun back to his brother, his thoughts elsewhere.
Turning a heel away from the scene, Rindou slid his gun back into its holder, a sigh followed by on his lips as frustration formed on his face.
Heavy lines of exhaustion etched deep into the brothers' faces as an uncomfortable silence settled around them. The coldness of the winter air stung their breaths, their fatigue was palpable, but despite the weariness that weighed on them, they remained silent.
The silence was intense, almost stifling, yet neither brother felt the need to break it.
Just... Where the hell is she?
Patience was wearing thin, and they could feel the tension building up with every passing moment. He couldn't bear it any longer, restlessness wrapped around his body in coldness and each second ticking away felt like an eternity, a loop. How long would this day continue on for? They were at their wit's end, and the uncertainty and frustration were reaching a breaking point.
Tap..
Tap..
Tap...
Rindou's foot tapped in annoyance, his patience growing more and more thin as the heavy seconds ticked by.
"Damn it..." He groaned. "How long has it been? Five months now?"
Ran rolled his lips between his teeth, his fingers fiddling with the box of cigars. The eldest Haitani pulled another one from the box, his slender fingers placing it between his lips. "It's been three months."
Three long, torturous months had rolled by since they'd begun on the search for their long-lost elder sister. It was a challenge as day after day, week after week, the search went on, with no end in sight. They felt as if they were falling behind. Each day brought new challenges and frustrations, leaving them exhausted and disheartened. The thought of never seeing her again formed a coil around their necks in despair.
If only they searched for her earlier, would they have found her by now? Will she still be here by their sides?
The thought plagued his mind like a dark cloud, always present in Ran's troubled mind.
"Forget it," the other muttered irritably, a click of disapproval sounded on his tongue as he went on, sparking an inner turmoil within Ran. "She could be dead by now so what's the point of doing this search? We're just wasting time." His words pushed back the silence that settled around them, the air thick with tension that danced around his bitter words.
"15 fucking years..." He reminisced in frustration, a reminder of the years gone by without her by their side. The mere mention of her name sent an ache of regret and loneliness within his heart. "After all this time..." He glowered sullenly, "Why should we start caring if she's alive or not?" his jaw set in a hard line.
15 years, and there's no sign of her anywhere. They had searched everywhere, leaving no corner or no street unseen, there was no trace of her anywhere.
Ran's fingers halted to a still, the bitter cigarette dangled from it's precarious position on his lips as he took in his brother's bitter words. The eldest brother took a long, silent breath, the ash of the cigarette slowly crumbling down as the thin smoke curled around his face.
His muscles tensed while his eyes darkened from the harsh edges of Rindou's words, it took everything in him to hold himself back from saying something he'll regret.
He sympathized with his brother's pain. They had buried their memories of her deep within their hearts, never bringing her up in conversation for such a long time, until now when the weight of her absence was too heavy to ignore.
He's confused, pained, lost, and so is he.

Brother, I'm here.
-- Kurokawa Izana x little sister reader
🖤 — Tokyo Revengers
📝 — angst, implication of domestic abuse, suicide attempt, hurt/comfort, a bit of fluff at the end
:a/n — this one is a bit heavy :'> (wc: 2.4k)
— PT. 1 / PT. 2/PT.3/PT.4/PT.5
You, Kurokawa Y/N, only wanted only one thing.
A family.
A household with the said family who’s loving and will treat you with care and affection. A family who won’t paint your skin blue and purple at any given chance and will protect you from all the things that you find to be scary.
That was the only thing you want but apparently, you’re considered greedy by the world for longing for something that’s supposed to be given to anyone the moment they were born.
Something was wrong with you.
Something has got to be deeply wrong with you because if not, why else would you be standing outside the hospital where you just got discharged a few minutes ago and currently drowning the moment your Kuya Mikey fills you in with what happened and the truth?
The fucking truth of not being related to them at all.
Your Kuya Mikey- are you even allowed to still call him that?- who you see walking towards you, panic in his eyes because you're walking backwards, walking away from them as if walking away from the truth.
He was saying something. Emma was saying something, also reaching out for you. Hell, even Takemichi was saying something but you’re drowning, you’re falling, and you’re…
You’re just there.
Alone.
A part of you begs to listen to them, to run to them, to beg for them to accept you as their little sister because God, oh dear God, you loved how they treated you for the last few days in your stay at the hospital.
They treated you like glass. Like someone precious. Treated you in a way that you didn’t even know was possible.
It got you questioning if you even deserved it because your stepmother said that you didn’t deserve anyone else’s love but only her’s.
And then it hit you.
You don’t deserve it, don’t you?
It was just a pity. It wasn’t love, it was pity.
But guilt bubbles in you as the thought passes through your mind. Who do you think you are to judge their actions? Who do you think you are to doubt their love for you?
You’re just a fool who wanted to force her way into their own little bubble of family.
It’s fucking embarrassing, you tell yourself.
So you run away. Turn your back on them like how Izana did to you. You ignore their calls of pleas and waits. You drown everything around you.
As they curse at how fast you could run, you’re grateful for the times you need to run away and hide on the nights where your stepmother’s wrath was too much. Maybe it was a destiny to be abused for this very moment. This moment to run away from people who turned out to be not blood-related at all.
You should’ve just remained in your own hell.
You’re not supposed to be here.
You don’t belong here.
Kakucho kneels in front of his king. His king who he found in front of the orphanage. He felt like a fool for not thinking about this place first.
Because as much as they wanted to leave this place before, it was still their home in their younger years.
"Izana, please. She's looking for you. She begged me to bring you back to her." He remembers the way your lips wobbled, your eyes dripping with unshed tears as you begged him to bring your brother back.
As you told him that you want Izana to stay with you because he's your family.
"She doesn't deserve me and I don't deserve her." Izana says and it hits Kakucho, as well as the Haitani brothers who helped him in finding Izana, that their king was just as desperate as you but in a different way.
While you're desperate to run after him, he's desperate to run away from you.
All because he thinks he doesn't deserve you and vice versa.
"She's…she's too pure for me, Kakucho. She's too bright." Ran looks down, eyes glancing at Rindou because he knows what Izana is saying. He understands.
But he frowns and shakes his head, stepping forward.
"Your sister…" he starts and he could see Rindou's eyebrows rising in surprise. "I understand that you want to push her away. Hell, I wanted to push Rindou away from this…gang activities before but he's all I have and I'm all he has."
Ran stops, sighing.
"What I want to say is that she deserves at least an explanation of why you want her away from you. That is, if you still want to push her away after all this talk. She was longing for you, you know? Kakucho told me."
Izana looks up at the sky. It was so…unfamiliar. Did the sky always look that way? It was always dull before, wasn't it? Why is it suddenly blue and white?
Why is it suddenly bright?
His hands are painted with blood and violence and yours looked like they aren't even aware of what violence is.
His head was filled with dark thoughts and you looked like all your thoughts were all flowers and sunshines.
How could he face you after all he's done? How could he tell you that he also wanted to stay with you because apparently, you're his real blood-related sister and that's all he ever wanted?
He breathes out shakily.
God fucking damnit.
If he's selfish to want to have you accept him even though he knows he fucked up his first interaction with you, then so be it. Make him look selfish. Greedy. Asshole.
He doesn't care anymore.
Kakucho's phone rings before he could even tell them to bring him to you.
"Hello?"
Something grips Izana's heart as he watches Kakucho's eyes widen as he looks straight back at him.
"What…what do you mean she's missing?"
The concept of family was always known yet unfamiliar to you. Everytime you go out and see parents with their children laughing happily, there’s a longing, a nostalgia that you feel. It was ironic how nostalgia is present when all you could remember was rough hands and sharp nails connecting with your skin.
However, when you got informed that you have an older brother miles away from you, it was enough to at least dull the painful memories and it was changed to an imagination, hope, that your brother will let you piggy ride his back, will let you play with his hair, and just…just simple bondings that a family do.
But you found out that it was merely imagination. A feeble hope to be destroyed by said brother.
You found yourself running and running and running.
You don’t even know where you are. You don’t care anymore. You just want to run away from here, want to get away from these almost familiar looking streets. Your eyes and lungs are burning. Exhaustion seeps through your body and your head is back to letting something hit it from the inside.
Everything is becoming blurry; was it because of the tears? The dizziness? Either way, you kept running until your feet took you to a soft feeling under.
A beach.
You’re on a beach and the sand felt so soft underneath you it was making you sick. Everything seems big, bright, dull, soft, and rough. They’re loud. The waves are loud, entrancing and calling you.
Your mind is racing with a million thoughts and yet, it is empty. All you could think about was how nice it was to just rest naturally like the sun setting beyond the horizon in front of you. All you could think about was the “what-if’s” and “could’ve been’s” if you didn’t look for your brother, if said brother didn’t turn his back on you, and if you didn’t turn your back on the people who were nothing but nice to you.
Your unshed tears were dried by the breeze, thoughts seemingly getting blown away with it, the waves in front of you engulfing it and taking it away.
And then you’re just there.
An empty shell of what used to be you.
You’re just there, feet slowly walking towards the waves.
Family is a concept you tried so hard to understand. It’s something you know and don’t know. It’s something you experienced in a wrong way.
Something that got you questioning your true purpose in life. It was supposed to be given to you the moment you were born so why?
Why are you all alone and trembling in fear and yet, you keep walking? The water is cold and it’s pulling and pushing you in and out. It’s shooing you away at the same time it’s pulling you in.
You were born in a household that paints your skin blue and purple. People are supposed to be born and cradled with gentle and soothing hands, aren’t they? So why were you even born if you don’t have those?
Ahh.
You get it.
You were born to die, weren’t you?
Izana’s vision was obscured with his own unshed tears. He’s trembling and running. A part of him blame the Sanos for your disappearance. How could they tell you about the truth? Couldn’t they have just hid it from you? Protect you from it?
But then he’s too aware of what could happen if people let the water boil for too long. He’s seen it in himself. He’s seen how he was so full of hope and was ignorant of the truth that it utterly destroyed him when he was forced to face the reality.
It was funny, he thinks. Funny how he uttered the words that you’re no sister of his but the both of you are just too similar, aren’t you?
Both longing for a family.
It was funny because you’re there, a family, and yet he pushed you away. He’s such a fool, isn’t he?
But he vows to himself that this time, he’ll make things right. This time, he’ll open his heart and accept people. He’ll open his kingdom and let people do whatever they want. He’ll be a king who comes down from his throne for you- his family.
He’s running along a beach, he registers, and your name comes out of his mouth as if it’s the last thing keeping him sane. And maybe it was, maybe you are the only thing keeping him sane because he’s running like a madman, the word “No” stumbling out of his mouth over and over again.
You’re the only family he has. The only blood-related family he has so why are you trying to run away? He’s selfish, he knows. He’s the cause of this and he wants the waves to engulf him instead.
The waves already reached your waist but you’re just looking ahead, unaware of the people running towards you. Your eyes looked empty and it terrifies him. Those similar lilac eyes are supposed to be shining albeit a bit dim. They’re not supposed to be empty like his.
He reaches for your hand and tugs you to him. It scared him how you were so limp that you let him engulf you in his arms as he frantically dragged you towards the shore, how you let the both of you fall on your knees.
Kakucho, the Sanos, Draken, the Haitani brothers, and Takemichi sees the pure terror in Izana’s eyes as he holds you against him tightly. They notice the trembles of his body, the wobble of his lips and his tears that are freely flowing, carving their way on his cheeks.
His mouth was gaping, opening and closing, finding their words but it seemed like the waves took it away with them. He doesn’t know what to say.
He almost lost you.
Forever.
One moment, you’re feeling the water reaching your waist and the next, it was trembling warm arms around you. Having disassociated with your reality, you were baffled because you’re suddenly at the shore, kneeling, and leaning against someone.
You didn’t have to look up to see who it was for he smelled like a family, a comfort, and safety.
You sob quietly against your brother, feeling him tense under you but his arms around you further tightens. You’re also trembling, fear creeping in you with full force with the realisation that you were so close to killing yourself.
You feel lost.
Afraid.
Are you even alive? What if you’re actually under the waves and all of this is just an imagination? A last resort of your brain that’s seeking comfort?
Your hand grips your brother’s clothes, hard and tight, as if he’ll disappear if you let go for at least a second. You hear him shushing you, calming you down, but it just made you sob more.
Despite being treated softly by the Sanos, being treated in the same way by your real blood-related brother was different.
You felt loved. You felt safe. You felt accepted.
This was the purpose you were cradling in your delicate, trembling hands years ago. Now, it’s being cradled by you and your brother; shared.
But something inside you is still not content. You need to make sure that everything is real. That right now is not just a figment of your imagination.
“Kuya…” you cry out.
“Yeah?” Izana says, so soft and gentle.
“Kuya, I’m here…I’m here, right?” you question the reality, daring. You hear Izana breathing out shakily, his right hand cupping your cheek, tilting your head to his direction.
And his eyes. You have those eyes, don’t you? They’re so similar to yours and it makes you sob more. You’re finally staring at your family.
“You’re here, Y/N, you’re here with me.” he reassures. It took you a moment to process his words but after a while, a wobbly little smile made its way to your lips before it fell- in relief- as you hid in his neck once again.
Your sobs echo through the area. The waves were calm as if giving you privacy, the sunset basking you with its gentle light and warmth.
The Sanos and Haitani brothers watch with a smile and deep gratitude to the world. Even though their family is broken, they know they were lucky enough to have each other since the beginning unlike you and your brother who had to cross multiple challenges just to see each other.
With a soft grin, all of them made their way to the both of you.
And all of a sudden, affection seeps to your head from their pats. It was overwhelming but you found yourself smiling and not running away. Your eyelids feel heavy, making you sigh.
Before succumbing to darkness in your brother’s arms, the last thing you felt was warm lips against your forehead along with a soft “thank you for not giving up on me, Y/n.” and,
“Thank you for being here.”
A/N: i swear we're getting fluff next hehe (with a sprinkle of angst)

askjhsdkhas RAN IS READY, RAN IS SO FUCKING READY!!!!!
ME RN:
Secrets Kept from Him Chapter 3: Underlying Thoughts WC:3900+ Resident: @enchantedforest-network TW: Past relationship with Ran, Disappearing, Slight Suggestive Themes, Angst, Drinking, Suggestive Language, Masturbation, Making Out, Past Memories, Secret Child He Never Met Until Now, Being Watched(unedited) MINOR DNI 18+
“Morning Ran.” you opened the door for him. “What's with the flowers?” you asked him.
“One is for you and the other is for D/n. I know you always like flowers in the home. Unless that changes.” He gave you the larger bouquet.
The bouquet had your favorite flowers. “I still do…Thank you, you didn’t have to do that.” a small smile appeared on your face. ‘Still as charming as ever..’ “I wanted to do this, there's a difference.” Ran’s eyes looked around the home.
“Let me find a vase to put them in really quickly. I will be right back.” you walked to the kitchen hoping to find a vase. You still were trying to figure out where everything was in the home.
Ran noticed a few photo frames that were displayed on a wall. Looking at each photo he saw a different stage in his daughter's life. From her being only a few days told till her current age.
D/n was so eager to explore the rest of the house that she left her room and went down the stairs. She stopped at the foot of the stairway. Studying the tall man who was looking at the photos. D/n remembered she saw him yesterday when he got off the elevator with the lady. From the side view, he saw something moving. He turned his head to see his little one looking at him.
“Hello there.” He smiled. She stood quiet looking at him. He remembers you saying she was a bashful child. It would take her time for her to warm up to new people. When he finally stood in front of her he kneeled down at eye level with her greeting her with a gentle smile.
When you finally found a vase you walked back to where Ran was to find him with your guy's daughter. You observed from a distance as Ran began talking to her. You were wondering how she was going to react to him.
“You must be D/n.” Ran smiled
Her eyes widened, surprised to know this stranger knew her name. She nodded, “Mhmm.” She softly said as she teetered tattered with her feet.
‘She is adorable.’ Ran thought. “I’m Ran… I’m….” Ran paused for a moment and he wanted to say ‘I’m your daddy.’ But he couldn't say it. All he could say was, “I’m a friend of your mommy’s.” Bringing the flowers towards her “I heard you liked flowers, I hope you like them.”
Her little hands accepted the flowers. “Thank you.” Softly speaking she smelled the flowers. Your daughter got a glimpse of you from a distance, “Mommy look.” She ran towards you excitedly with the bouquet of flowers in her hands. Ran stood up seeing her running towards you.
“Those are beautiful.” Giggling as she held them up to you. “Why don’t we put them in a vase then we can place them in your room a bit later?” making her. Agreeing to the idea, you brought her to the kitchen, placing them into a vase.
Ran watched how you interacted with her. How tender and attentive you were with her, he always had this image of you being like this with your kids. Your daughter didn’t look outside into the back until now to see a swing on a tree.“Mommy, can we go outside?” She asked.
“Of course,”you smiled.
Eagerly going outside you saw her run directly to the swing. Ran stood next to you on the patio as you both saw her swinging in the swing. “She has a lot of energy.” Ran smiled as his eyes watched his little one.
“She does” When you look at him you can see he was deep in thought as he looked at him., "What are you thinking about?” asked him. “Other than my daughter, not knowing who I really am, she just knows me as a friend of her mothers.” Ran said, “But what can I do right now other than get to know her.”
Nodding at his response. Ran made his way to the little girl on the swing.
With a relaxed smile on his lip, you could see he offered to push her on the swing. You leaned against the post on the patio.
~~~~~~~
“Can I have another one?” You mumbled in a soft whisper. You couldn’t help but give him another kiss. “Another” giving him one after another after another.
“Okay okay” you chuckled as both of you were tangled in one another’s arms. The light coming from the window as the moon shines bright. “I love you Ran.” you meant those words every single time you were with him.
You found the one you wanted to be with after prior failed relationships. He changed your mind when you gave him a chance a few years ago. You were a bit skeptical at first because of how attentive he was or the way he spoke so smoothly. The more he was around he broke the barriers from around you.
“I love you too______. I want you to promise me something. Promise me you will always be by my side.” Ran caressing your cheek gently as if you were a porcelain doll. The words I love you hardly came out of his mouth when he was dating people throughout the years; those words were only spoken to very important people. One of them is you, I love you was used often.
“I promise to be by your side.” You softly spoke.
Ran felt his heart flutter at your words, feeling content knowing you would be the one he would spend the rest of his life with. “Say it again.” fixating on the words you spoke. His hand began to slide down to your bare waist. You could feel himself becoming aroused as he wanted to hear you say it again.
“I promise to be by your side Ran.” you cooed softly. It takes him a long time to slide himself on top of you. The YSL cologne still lingered on him as he leaned closer. His lips connected to yours while his body began to sink into you. The kiss travels down from your lips to your jawline to your neck. The shallow breaths escape your lips, with each touch makes your body crave more. ~~~~~~ You stopped yourself from remembering the rest of the thoughts, it’s bad enough you deprived yourself of physical touch from anyone since your daughter was born. It was a sacrifice you made by a decision you made. You could have dated and been offered throughout the years but you couldn’t.
Ran happened to back at you for a brief moment to see that you were in your own thoughts on things. Hearing the happy laughs coming from his child who was swinging higher and higher on the swing. He wanted to know everything about her, he was proceeding with caution not trying to overwhelm the small child. A few more minutes on the swing d/n got off. “Thank you, Mr. Ran.” the bashful little girl spoke. Crouching down “Your welcome little princess. Tell me what else do you like to do?” asked her. “Ummm…” she began to think. “I have tea parties with my animal up the stairs.” Ran and you followed her up the stairs where she had her room set up, the tea set was next to the window on a tea table.
Ran looked around the room on her bed and he recognized a familiar white stuffed rabbit. ‘She kept it.’ he thought to himself. It was the first gift he had got you when you both started dating. It held a lot of sentimental value. It would end up being the first stuffed animal your daughter ever had. He watched his daughter reach for the stuffed rabbit and bring it to her setup.
A few hours would have passed when Ran got a call. When he pulled up his phone he saw Ms. Yamaguchi’s number appear on his phone. He excused himself by taking the call outside. You looked at him through the sliding glass door leading to the backyard. You could see the smile on his face as he was speaking on the phone. You could only imagine what he was talking about or who he was talking to. Your daughter was on the counter as she was continuing her drawing, her little hums as she switched to another color. Bringing your attention back to her. From the outside, Ran was a bit annoyed to have gotten the call but the tone he spoke was so calming. The contracts were still in the works making sure this was going to happen for the club. He looked at his watch and he didn't expect time to fly by so quickly, “Of course, I can be there around 6:30pm. I’m currently in the process of doing something else right now.” looking at the window he got a view of you and your daughter at the table you were watching her color. He could see the smile on your face as you were talking to her inside. “Hmp you don’t say… Well, I looked forward to seeing you then." When he got off the phone he had to cut this visit short. Walking back into the room “I’m sorry I have to cut my visit short I have an unexpected meeting.” You and d/n looked at him. “It’s fine,” you spoke. Ran walked over towards his daughter. “D/n it was nice to meet you. I hope we can do something fun when I see you again.” She bashfully nodded. She actually felt comfortable with him; she couldn’t explain that something was different than the other friends she met before. She looked down at the drawing she just finished. Her cheeks were a bit hot when she was deciding what to do next. “This is for you,” she mumbled softly both of you hardly were able to make out what she said to him. She held the drawing towards him. It honestly kinda of surprised you she actually was holding the drawing towards him. He accepted the drawing seeing it was a picture of different flowers she colored. He couldn’t help but smile at the sweet gesture of his daughter. He wanted to pick her up and give her a hug and a kiss but he restrained himself. It was pulling on his own heartstrings not to show the affection he wanted for her. “This is amazing, ya know I have a special place I can put this at, thank you d/n”
She covered her face and mumbled “your welcome.” you couldn’t help but smile how bashful she got when giving him the photo. “D/n I’m going to walk Ran out you can continue to color it will only be a moment.” “Okay Mommy,” she said as she watched you and Ran walk to the front door.
Closing the door behind you that leads outside. The brief moment of silence “You gave her the rabbit I gave you.” he had a small smile.
“She has been sleeping with it since she was a newborn. She can’t sleep without it…It gave her comfort like it gave me.” having a small smile on your face. “I appreciate it that you're taking it slow with her. She seems to like you, which is a good thing.” “Of course, now that I’m a bit familiar with what she likes and how she responds to things I know how to proceed.” He was still trying to figure out if he should proceed to pursue you or not. After the comments from yesterday about the hickey he had covered up this time, he was unsure if you were interested in him after seeing that. “When the time comes she will know who I really am.”
“Yeah…” making eye contact with him... “You might need to get going, sorry I was holding you up. I know you're busy.”
He wished he could cancel this but he didn’t want to hear Rindou complain about it. He had to go to the club later on. “Right…I will call you tomorrow. I may also need to correlate something with Rin to meet d/n but I will talk to him about it.” You nodded, “Either call or text you have my number, and let me know.” “Of course…Till we meet again.” Ran began to walk and he decided to test the waters a bit with you. He stopped slightly turning his body around. “How about a goodbye kiss like old time sake. You kinda owe me one.” the playful manner coming from him. You felt your cheeks become hot by his comment. Ran smirked seeing he could still make you blush with just the simplest comments like those. Composing the blush quickly “Goodbye Ran.” you didn’t answer her question he asked.
“Can’t blame me for trying now.” He turned back around heading to his car. Your hand was on the doorknob. You saw him get into the car and drive off, he disappeared down the street. You made your way back into your home. The thought of kissing him, just a kiss wouldn't have been enough for you. Thinking about his lips against yours you could remember how soft they were, the way his tongue brushed against your lower lips. His hands wrapped around you and your body quivered for his touch. ‘I need to calm down.’ you felt yourself becoming a bit warm. Just a few hours apart Ran was sitting on the edge of the bed, a cigarette loosely hanging from his lips. He only has his unbuckled dress pants on his damp hair pushed back. He could hear the shower going in the bathroom. He began to process the thoughts in his mind after an encounter he had with Ms. Yamaguchi. He didn’t want to look at her during the session. He made sure she had her face buried in the pillows. When he looked at her, her face was covered with her hair. His mind began to picture it as you. He could vividly hear you cry out his name begging him to go harder. It sent him over the edge quickly. His mind was messing with him, ‘how quickly she can invade my thoughts like that..’ he thought to himself.
His fingers removed the cigarette from his mouth as he exhaled a cloud of smoke. He heard the shower turn off prompting him to get dressed. He reached for his button and began to place it on.
Ms. Yamaguchi came out in her towel looking at him. “Leaving so soon?” Her eyes focused on the violet-eyed man.
“I have to head out to the club and make sure everything is running smoothly,” Ran responded. “Very sneaky of you to have me come and see you to sign paperwork.” He smirked.
“Well, I think you would have enjoyed this much more than signing paperwork. But I promised it wouldn't be done by tomorrow. There were some delays today.”
“I see. Me and Rin can meet up tomorrow to sign the paperwork.” He made sure he included Rin's name in the topic since he was also the one who was going to be signing the contract.
“Of course. Maybe after the contract signing we can celebrate, how about dinner just me and you?” She asked, walking closer to him.
‘Shit…’ he thought, still keeping his composure. He wanted to see d/n hoping to sign the contracts early instead of later in the day. “It does sound nice but I do have a meeting later on tomorrow. Why don't we plan something later on another day.” He tilted her chin bringing her face closer to his, giving her a sweet smile.
“I will make it worth your wild.”
“Very well, Mr. Haitani. I will hold you to it. So since you are busy tomorrow we can push the signing to the morning.”
Ran made a smooth exit from the hotel room. Making his way to the club. The music could be heard on the outside of the club as he began to enter. People dance, drink, and enjoying themselves. Heading into the VIP room to find his brother there on the large sofa. “How did it go?” Rindou asked him to watch his brother sit down next to him.
“With D/n, let’s say I didn’t want to leave. It was cut short due to Ms. Yamaguchi. I just got back from there.” He closed for a brief moment and sighed. “If it wasn’t for the damn contract still needing to be signed I wouldn’t have gone… ya know I got a small taste of what it would be like to be a dad.”
“Does she know you as her dad?”
Ran shook his head “Not yet she only knows me as her mother’s friend. I got to know her, what she is like, and what she likes to do. She kinda reminds me of you when you were a kid, very shy.”
“Knock it off.” He didn't like to mention his personality as a child. He was a bit embarrassed of it. “What about _____?”
“Other than being the most attentive mother to her, how it took all my strength not to hold her in my arms again. And pretend like nothing ever happened and live like a family… but then I come back to reality and this is how it is. I’m just the man who she once knew or she makes it seem like that.”
Rindou understood how his brother might be feeling that way. “Here, have a drink.” pouring the cold whiskey. “From this point, you have two options as I see it. You continue what you have been doing since she was gone and just be there for D/n as her father” placing the bottle of whiskey down “or if you feel like those feelings for ________ are still there and you want to pursue them you need to show her. This also means forgiving her for leaving like she did and moving forward. This will be up to you how you proceed.” The words from his brother made him think. Looking at his phone he scrolled through his contacts to see your number. ~~~~~~~~~ You were brushing D/n hair and you both sat on her bed. She held her stuffed rabbit looking down at it. You wanted to ask her about what she thought about Ran. “Did you have fun today?” you asked her. “Mhmmm.” d/n respond back “I like the swing outside!”
“I’m glad you liked that. How about mommy’s friend Ran?” asking her. “He is really nice and he smells good. Mommy, he was at the hotel yesterday.” responding to you. “Wait, you saw him at the hotel?” you stopped brushing her hair.
Turning her head she nodded. “Yeah, he was coming out of the elevator with his girlfriend. He was holding her hand. She was really pretty.” You raised your brows “Oh.” maybe your assumption of him being single wasn’t true, maybe he was seeing someone. He didn’t specify it when you both talked yesterday. But today his comment about the kiss was teasing, right? Just to mess with me? All these different questions popping into your mind right now. “You okay Mommy?” slightly tilting her head at you. “Mommy is okay,” you reassured her, you looked at the clock next to her bed. “Alright, it’s time for bed. Let's get you all tucked in.” you began to tuck her into bed. Giving her a good night kiss you put on her night light. Making your way down the hall towards your own room you got into bed. you were going through your phone but you couldn’t concentrate on what you were looking at. You kept pondering on the thought of Ran seeing someone else. He could have been talking to her outside before he left. All the things he used to do with you, he is doing them with her. The various positions you both were in over those years of being together years back flooded your mind. The phantom of your own hand began to travel around your body the way he used to. You were losing yourself in the moment. The lack of sexual contact over the years forced you to figure out a way to satisfy your needs. Your hand travels lower inside your pants. The soft panting coming from your lips. You were so into your thoughts that you became hot and bothered.
The sudden vibrations from your phone went off, startling you. Reaching for your phone seeing it was Ran. Trying to take a collective breath before you pick up. “Hello?”
Ran could hear from your tone you were slightly out of breath. “Hey… are you okay?” He walked into his office trying to hear your voice without the disturbance of the music. “You sound out of breath.”
“I’m okay, I was just startled by the sudden call.” Your heart was racing hoping he didn't catch on to what you were doing moments ago. “What happened?”
“I was thinking of seeing you both tomorrow I will be free in the afternoon,” Ran responded. “If that’s okay?”
Both of us? You were wondering if you heard right. “It should be fine, I'm going to go to the market in the morning with D/n other than that we will be free…maybe I can fix something before you arrive.”
His head perked up “Really now?” He lightly chuckled. The way he chuckled like that turned you on more. Biting your lower lip. “I will be looking forward to that.”
“Ran” You were contemplating if you should just have him come over. You were fighting this urge inside you to not cave into the desire you oppressed for so long.
The slightly needy tone caught his tone. All so familiar to him. He was starting to see what he interrupted. Thinking you may have been asleep but you were doing other things. “Yes doll, is there something you need to ask me? .”
‘Fuck.’ He made your toes curl. ‘No no, keep it together don’t let him come over now.’ There was a brief moment of silence. Ran was waiting for your response. He was waiting for the signal just for you to ask him to come over. But those hopes were shot down with your response. “I will see you tomorrow. Have a good night.”
‘Dammit….’ He ran his fingers through his hair “see you tomorrow doll. Sweet dreams… don’t have too much fun now.”
You quickly disconnected the call with him. ‘God he knows… Why did I pick up the call in the first place… I could have called him back in the morning.’ You placed your phone on silent mode for the rest of the night.
Ran on the other hand, smirking to himself ‘I know what I want…. better yet… who I want.’
~~~~~~~~~ ~Earlier in the Day~
Outside of the home, there was someone else keeping a close eye on you just earlier that afternoon. They witnessed the brief encounter you and Ran had outside the home. They knew it was something more between you both. Pulling out the phone “It’s me…I need you to pull up some information on a person for me. How long will it take? …. I see I will send it right now then." They hung up the phone. Sending the information on the address. They were curious about this woman who knew Ran Haitani. They looked at the home before they started the car and took off in the opposite direction of where Ran left.
