man,,,,, I know I keep saying it, but this blog feels, like. stale. I don’t really have a community or anything,, I’m lucky if my posts get 5 notes. I feel like I kinda wanna refresh and revamp, but I have no idea what to do really.

is it because I write for so many fandoms? people only want one or two, so my being too multi-fandom is uninteresting? or is it bc I write for mostly older things like yugioh and bakugan, instead of what’s new and popular?

I dunno. it frustrates me bc like,,, my last writing blog didn’t even last a full year, and I ended up with an amazing community. I’ve been at this one for over two years now,, two and a half?? I’m grateful to have anyone here reading my works, and I love writing for your favorite forgotten characters, and I love getting pictures or random asks. I don’t want to be famous or anything, but I do want to provide for people, and it’s hard to do that when you’re completely unseen.

I’d appreciate it if you’d take this as a reminder that I would love to talk to you guys? About literally anything? even if you don’t have a request, you can absolutely jump into the inbox and yell about something that happened at work, or a problem you’re having at school or literally anything. I don’t want to be just talking to a wall and hoping someone overhears me, I wanna hang out with you guys. like friends.

I’m also pretty sure I’ll do what I did last year and empty the inbox after Christmas, of everything except the remaining obscurity requests. I’m also leaning towards,,,,,,, redecorating the blog maybe? choosing another new theme, and possibly even updating the header and icon? but I’ve also used this Ramuda for two years lmao, it’d feel strange to get rid of it.

30 Day HypMic Challenge!

DAY 8: A CHARACTER YOU CAN IMITATE VERY WELL

⛩️ HARAI KUKO

So, Anna @fullmetalgirl98 and I have a peculiar way of spending our evenings together.

Since we're top tier nerds, we sing HypMic and ParaLive songs trying to imitate the characters' voices until we're too tired to go on. Our neighbours probably hate us at this point.

This has been going on for... a while, so at this point we're pretty specialised in certain characters. And sometimes we ask each other: who do I do best?

So the info in this post is courtesy of Anna :))

Technically, my number one character is my pookie Saburo. He comes very naturally to me, because I guess not only are we like our favourites but sound like them too :3 I didn't want to repeat myself in the post headers though, so I went for another strong character in my arsenal :3

Both Saburo and Kuko were some of my first experiments because their solos (Requiem and Sougyaram BAM) were among the first songs I learned, so I have a lot of experience with them now~

Anna particularly likes when I go zannen da ne~ in 3 Seconds Killer though, and I like it too. :)

BUT FOR KUKO OH BOY MY BEST WORK WAS KAIGEN. His entire last verse is so challenging and fun, I learned it last year and I enjoy doing it so much! Kuko is just one of the most fun characters to do in general and he's been bias wrecking me a lot lately for the most random reasons.

Honourable mention goes to my very first signature characters: Hifumi, Ramuda, and Samatoki. Hifumi is one of the characters that come more naturally to me, and Ramuda being one of my favourite characters is one of those I find the most fun. Sometimes you can hear me going MINNA NO IDOL RAMUDA NO BANDA for no reason and that's just what I'm like.

Samatoki however. My man. The bane of my existence. I remember learning Nausa de Zuiqu and putting in so much work for this evil evil dude. Love him. Anna says I do him well and I AM SO HONOURED HE'S NOT EASY TO DO AT ALL-
