Ingredients:

1 1/2 OZ. REPOSADO TEQUILA

1/2 OZ. AMONTILLADO SHERRY

1/2 OZ. FRESH LEMON JUICE

1/4 OZ. COFFEE LIQUEUR (MUSK USES MR. BLACK)

1/2-3/4 OZ. BANANA LIQUEUR

1/2-3/4 OZ. FUNKY JAMAICAN RUM (MUSK USES SMITH & CROSS)

3/4 OZ. PASSION FRUIT SYRUP (2:1 SIMPLE SYRUP AND PASSION FRUIT PUREE)

3 DROPS BLACK SESAME OIL (OR 2 OF TOASTED SESAME OIL)

Preparation:

Add all of the ingredients to a shaker and whip shake with pebble ice. Dump the contents into a glass. Top with crushed ice and garnish.

TIPFor added depth, make a spiced syrup with cinnamon and vanilla bean to complement the passion fruit: 1 quart of water and 1 quart of sugar, combined with 1 crushed of cinnamon stick, 2 orange peels and 1/2 a vanilla bean, sliced. Heat the mixture but don’t boil. Use this in place of the simple in the passion fruit syrup.

bella had mentioned wanting to play the last of us recently. you, being the wonderful girlfriend you were, decided to surprise bella one morning.

with the help of your friend, you had hooked up a brand new ps5 to your tv in you and bella’s living room, and you had the last of us game wrapped in wrapping paper, an adorable little bow against the gift.

bella had been busy lately, and you let them sleep in. you were still in your pajamas, cooking breakfast; the heavenly smell of french toast wafting in the air.

you were humming to yourself, jumping slightly when you felt a pair of arms wrap around your waist. bella placed their head into the crook of your neck, a hum slipping past their lips.

“breakfast smells delicious, babe,” bella murmured, pressing a kiss to your jaw.

you smiled.

mornings with bella were your favorite. the silence of the day still hung in the air, along with soft conversations held over breakfast.

you and bella were just finishing your meals, when you jumped to your feet. bella looked at you, afraid something was wrong, but they quickly saw the smile that graced your cheeks seconds later, and awaited to see what it was that had you so excited.

“i almost forgot!” you began, “i have a surprise for you.”

bella tilted their head.

“is that right?” they said, as you grabbed their hand and led them to the living room.

bella took a seat on the couch as you slipped the wrapped gift into their hand.

“wow, it even has a fancy bow,” bella giggled out.

you sat on your heels as you awaited their reaction.

they looked at the game in their hand, speechless. they glanced at you, then back at the game, not saying anything.

you sighed, running a hand down your face at their reaction.

“crap. you hate it.”

bella looked at you with wide eyes, shaking their head as they suddenly grabbed you into a bone crushing hug.

“not at all. i love it, you remembered!” bella gushed, “thank you, thank you, thank you!”

it had taken a little over twenty minutes to set up the game, and you and bella had set up camp on the couch.

there was a small bowl of popcorn as you rested your head against their shoulder, and they were immersed in the graphics of the game. you breathed in bella’s signature scent of cinnamon and musk as you bit down on your bottom lip.

something else, however, had caught your eye. your eyes were focused on their hands, their ring-cladded fingers that were ever so delicately grazing over the controller’s button.

you noticed the way the veins in their hands popped out every time they flexed their thumb, their slim fingers holding the controller so effortlessly.

your brain wandered to a place of not-so-innocent thoughts, where those fingers had been before…and you knew all too well of what they could do.

you let a sigh slip past your lips, one bella took notice of.

“you alright there, darling?” bella asked, their tone light hearted as they chuckled, but you could hear the undertones of concern in their voice.

“hm?” you said, trying to get rid of the blush on your face, “yeah.”

just thinking about our late night shenanigans. your skilled fingers. no biggie.

“you sure?” bella asked again.

you nodded.

“mhm,” you said, tone going hazy as bella’s attention was no longer on the game, but you instead.

you had that look in your eye, one that bella would recognize anywhere. your bottom lip was puffy from biting down on it, and your pupils were larger than normal.

“i think there’s something in your mind, yeah?” bella said, briefly detaching themself from you as they adjusted your position.

your blushed deepened, and you shook your head.

“no,” you squeaked.

“tell me, love,” bella began, voice husky and low, “what’s on your mind?”

you didn’t reply, and felt bella hook their finger beneath your chin.

“what was that? use your words, darling, and tell the truth.”

bella’s words made your core flutter. you loved when they were demanding, yet still so gentle.

“iwasthinkingaboutyourhands,” you mumbled, and bella chuckled.

“didn’t quite catch that, y/n/n.”

this was bella’s game with you. it had begun, and it was your turn.

“i said…i was thinking about your hands.”

“ah, i see,” bella flexed their hands, veins popping out as you bit down against your lip, “these old things?”

you nodded.

“my naughty girl,” bella scolded tauntingly, suddenly leaning forward to whisper in your ear.

“thinking about where they’ve been, is that right? how they’ve made you feel? how they’ve made you come…undone?”

you nodded pitifully.

“mhm.” you replied, head going to the crook of their neck.

bella chuckled once more, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear. they cupped your face in their hands, pressing a kiss to your forehead.

“you’re needy,” they commented, “let me help you out.”

it’s safe to say the game was long forgotten after that.

A/n: sorry this is so short! I’m not very good at being able to hold back the smut while loving to write for fluff too, does that even make sense?

As soon as the bus stops at the ministry he goes straight to your room, grabbing your form and heading for his own.

He might be tired but never enough to not spend time with you.

He loves to cuddle you while you both watch Hell’s Kitchen, he loves the chaos and constant screaming and cursing. You may see it a little stressful but Swiss finds it extremely hilarious, with the arguing over stupid things, and Gordon Ramseys over the top cursing- it’s perfect for cuddling! He will hold you tight in his arms, spooning you, the string lights loosely hung everywhere sets a low sleepy tone.

He wears a black T-shirt, his arms poking out perfect for your pleasurable eyes to enjoy. And of course he “asked” you to wear his sweatshirt because, it’s Swiss-you must have his scent. His tail flicks lazily from the cozy blankets to the rise between them and your body’s. Sometimes he might curl it up your leg, maybe to your thigh, possibly to between your thighs and rub the softening heat- depends on the mood. Swiss purrs like a cat when you love on him. Behind ear and back scratches, rubbing his strong chest or shoulders, maybe even playing with his tail-ears-and hair. In response you might feel something poking your back a little, but that doesn’t matter does it?

A little soft grin as the multi ghoul squeezes you more, forgetting how unusual strong he is. The rain against the window sets flowing liquid shadows across the wall, the red and blue low lights faintly shining. You can’t tell me Swiss doesn’t have like 3 or 5 salt lamps, big, small, outlit plug ins. He likes to cover them in Egyptian musk scented oils as he rubs your thighs and sides lovingly as he switches his focus between your sleepy dozing form and the exciting sensation on the screen.

So he decides to ignore the fight and flop himself over you, earning a squeak. Swiss snakes his hand up your leg and down your thighs again, sliding it to rub over your underwear slightly like a ghost, but not enough pressure to start anything, but enough to tell you the message. His fangs poke out from his big smile, giggling at your playful face. And of course, you decide to chose the most vile and criminal act ever and attack the ghoul with harsh tickles.

“No! No!” He screams, louder than anything in night.

Manic laughs and a shaking bed might give off the wrong idea to neighboring ghoul, but the tickle fight was far from over. You end up on top of him only for him to finally give up and let you win, soon enough you have to let the man catch a breathe from the tourture.

But the restful moment is broken up as the ghoul turns your hovering form to under him, swapping your positions.

“Mhm, I think I like this position better.” The ghoul whispers into your ear, nipping at it softly, almost drooling at the thought of you.

Elon Musk is a man comfortable with risky bets. He pledged to send 1 million people to Mars (SpaceX), to fill factories with humanoid workers (Tesla Bot), and to create a network of highways deep underground (the Boring Company). All of these bets are yet to pay off. But six years ago, Musk took a leap of faith that would also affect him personally. He tied his own pay at Tesla to a series of financial targets over the next decade, including boosting the company’s market value from $59 billion to $650 billion. Such targets were decried by commentators at the time as “jaw-dropping” and “his most unlikely goal yet.” And Musk’s wage from the company if he didn’t pull them off? Nothing at all.

The board agreed to the plan in 2018. However, a heavy-metal drummer named Richard Tornetta, who owned just nine Tesla shares, did not. In June of that year, he decided to sue, claiming the pay package was unfair to investors like him. By the time the case reached court in Delaware in 2022, Musk had just one milestone left before the big payout. But the judge agreed with Tornetta in January, voiding what she called an unfathomably large pay package and describing the directors who negotiated it as beholden to Musk.

Musk succeeded in hitting those 12 jaw-dropping targets by the close of 2023, following Tesla’s brief spell as a trillion-dollar company. And now, despite what happened in Delaware, he’s demanding to be paid. At Tesla’s annual meeting on Thursday, shareholders are being asked to vote again on whether Musk should receive what has by now swollen to a nearly $50 billion pay package, the biggest in US corporate history. The $50 billion question for shareholders is: Is Musk worth it?

Posing the question of whether he deserves his pay packet at all marks a significant shift for the relationship between Musk and the electric automaker he has led since 2008. “The resistance shows that there is a ceiling to the influence that a single person has on the company,” says Mike Ramsey, an automotive analyst at the consultancy Gartner. “This is the the first time Tesla shareholders might be willing to say, ‘You can’t have unlimited power.’”

The vote comes at a difficult time for Tesla. For the first time in the company’s history, Tesla is facing intense competition in the electric car market—especially from cheaper Chinese competitors. Meanwhile, some observers have puzzled over Musk’s response and his pivot to robotaxis and artificial intelligence.

“The debate here really is about the future, not the past,” says John Colley, professor of practice in strategy and leadership at the UK’s Warwick Business School. “Tesla has become a mature business, and it’s got all the problems that mature carmakers have now.” Whether a visionary like Musk is the best man to lead a mature business is unclear, he adds.

The pay package is just one in a series of measures that shareholders have already been asked to vote on by proxy, ahead of Thursday’s meeting. Others include whether Tesla’s incorporation should move from Delaware to Texas, whether the company should soften its hardline stance on labor negotiations, and whether the company should preemptively impose a moratorium on using minerals mined from the seabed.

Yet none have been as divisive as Musk’s pay. Deep rifts among investors have been exposed in the lead-up to the vote. Tesla board chair Robyn Denholm has backed the pay package, as has billionaire investor Ron Baron. “Tesla is better with Elon,” Baron wrote in an open letter last week. “Tesla is Elon.” Yet the deal’s opponents include two influential proxy advisory groups, which guide institutional investors on votes, as well as shareholders from the Nordic countries, where Tesla has clashed with workers over labor rights.

Norway’s trillion-dollar sovereign wealth fund has said it will vote against the pay deal, as will the country’s largest pension fund, KLP. “While we acknowledge that the company has grown significantly and successfully during the performance period, we still note that the total award value remains excessive,” Kiran Aziz, KLP's head of responsible investments, told WIRED, adding the fund will vote in favor of the motion urging Tesla to engage in labor negotiations. “Recent [dispute] between Tesla and the company’s workers in Sweden as well as Tesla’s history of accusations of interference with workers’ rights is of great concern and shows that the company needs to do better work in the area.”

Behind the scenes of the vote, lobbying has been intense. Tesla has paid for ads on Google and X, which is owned by Musk, telling investors to “protect your investment” and support the proposal, according to a company filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. In April, Tesla also launched a website urging shareholders to vote against the Delaware court decision and support the pay package. “The Court’s decision, if implemented, means that Elon would not receive any compensation for the tremendous accomplishments that have generated significant stockholder returns in less than six years,” the website reads.

“This is the most advertising I can remember from any proxy solicitation,” says Robert Anderson, a professor at the University of Arkansas School of Law. He believes the Musk effect—the CEO’s ability to attract endless publicity—has contributed to this situation. But the pay package and the proposed Texas move are both unprecedented in the business world, he adds. “Either [of] those things by themselves would be pretty significant, even if he were not a public figure.”

The vote will be decided by a mix of institutional investors as well as an unusually large cohort of retail investors, who control around 44 percent of the business. Among shareholders, there are concerns that if Musk does not win his compensation, “his attention might drift to some of his other ventures a little bit more,” says Anderson. Musk managed to juggle multiple ventures for years, but he has been more publicly distracted since acquiring the social media service Twitter and renaming it X. There, his visible turn to right-wing politics has garnered new fans and left some old ones behind.

Whatever happens this week, Tesla and Musk may emerge looking a bit less superhuman. For years, the two have insisted that Tesla is a tech company, with a Silicon Valley–style startup scrappiness. “We should be thought of as an AI or robotics company,” Musk told investors—or voters—in April. “If you value Tesla as just an auto company … fundamentally, it’s just the wrong framework.”

Elon Musk, the billionaire CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, allegedly wanted the AI research company OpenAI to either merge with Tesla or give him full control of the organisation.

A blog post from OpenAI, in response to a lawsuit filed by Musk against the company, revealed email communications from 2015 to 2018 when Musk was still involved with the company’s operations. 

In one email from 2017 – as OpenAI was exploring a transition to a for-profit model to secure more funding – Musk reportedly wanted majority equity, control of the board of directors, and the CEO position. However, OpenAI felt this level of control by one individual would go against its mission.

“Elon wanted us to merge with Tesla or he wanted full control,” wrote OpenAI in their blog post. “Elon left OpenAI, saying there needed to be a relevant competitor to Google/DeepMind and that he was going to do it himself. He said he’d be supportive of us finding our own path.”

When the merger discussions stalled, Musk suggested in 2018 that OpenAI could become attached to Tesla as a path for the automaker to provide funding. “Tesla is the only path that could even hope to hold a candle to Google,” Musk wrote in an email forwarded to OpenAI.

The blog post indicates these merger or acquisition proposals from Musk did not ultimately succeed, and he soon left the company. In a final email cited, Musk said his “probability assessment of OpenAI being relevant to DeepMind/Google without a dramatic change in execution and resources is 0%.”

Musk’s lawsuit, filed in March 2024, accuses OpenAI of breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and unfair competition. It alleges the company has become a “closed-source de facto subsidiary” of Microsoft after taking $13 billion in investment from the tech giant.

OpenAI denies the claims, stating Musk was aware the “Open” in its name did not mean it had to open-source all its AI technology to the public. The company expressed sadness that the situation has devolved into litigation with someone they “deeply admired.”

Musk has not yet publicly responded to the blog post from OpenAI. The lawsuit seeks to compel OpenAI to make its research freely available and prohibit exclusive arrangements benefiting individual companies.

“We intend to move to dismiss all of Elon’s claims,” says OpenAI.

Nonbinary actor Bella Ramsey leaves Twitter after change to anti-LGBTQ+ harassment ban

Nonbinary actor Bella Ramsey has left Twitter following the microblogging platform’s repeal of policies against LGBTQ+ harassment. “Twitter it’s been fun,” Ramsey wrote in an April 21 tweet. “My account will still be active for now but I will not be on here! Thank you my gay army and all the rest. In a March interview with The Last of Pods podcast, Ramsey referenced their gay army amid homophobic backlash to the series, stating, “I’m very aware that there’s a gay army who are on Twitter who are just supporting me and Ellie. Twitter’s billionaire owner Elon Musk has overseen a dramatic rise in anti-LGBTQ+ hate speech on the platform, making millions of dollars from hateful tweets. On March 31, Ramsey observed the Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV) with a message to their younger self. The tweet said, “Happy TDOV to this little dude! I didn’t know the word nonbinary in this picture. But I knew what it meant. Inherently. Because I always was, and always will be. Being gendered isn’t something that I particularly like, but in terms of pronouns, I really couldn’t care less.” Ramsey became famous by portraying Lyanna Mormont, a young powerful ruler, in HBO’s fantasy TV series Game of Thrones.
