despite never being really into fob, folie a deux did kind of change my life and knowing the historical context of that album is very important to my enjoyment. frerard is crazy and generated one of my favourite fics & is the reason behind some beautiful friendships but AS an rpf ship it doesn't actually compel me that much. ive come to view it as mostly stagegay with a lot of personal tension & genuine affection off stage but... in comparison to peterick it's literally hydrogen bomb vs coughing baby. the arguments for peterick ive seen seem to parallel my bruce and clarence propaganda and i have to fight side by side with my fellow musician soulmate warriors
