Al-Jazeera correspondent Wael Al-Dahdouh was injured after an IOF strike directly targeted Haifa School in Khan Younis where he was covering.

Al-Jazeera reported multiple appeals for the evacuation of the injured from the site and those trapped, including Al-Jazeera channel's cameraman Samer Abu Daqqah.

Al-Jazeera photojournalist Samer Abu Daqqah has ascended to martyrdom after the IOF deliberately bombed Farhana school, which is run by UNRWA, in Khan Younis where him and his team were covering.

Following the bombing, the IOF prevented medical teams from reaching him, leaving him to bleed for over 5 hours on the ground.

We were targeted after being escorted by an ambulance as it had coordinated to evacuate a trapped family

We tried to coordinate with the ambulance to move the scene in the area and after we finished we hit a missile.

I walked hundreds of meters after my injury trying to stop the bleeding until I reached the paramedics

Hero journalist Wael Dahdouh was injured today by zionist forces, and camera man Samer Abu Daqqa was martyred, near a school sheltering many displaced people in Khan Younis. Wael reported:

"When we finished the filming and tried to return to the ambulance, a rocket hit us. I got injured. I ran for hundreds of meters to find paramedics, while Samer bled to death for hours. The ambulances trying to reach him were shot at."
