Yeah, that’s true, but I wasn’t even referring to that, I hadn’t mentioned his physical appearance at all. I was just talking about an aspect of China’s character, which I would definitely define as ‘motherly’, seeing the way he tried to behave with younger Asian nations. I honestly don’t see how this is any of the things anon accused me of being, seeing that it’s not something I made up, but a real aspect of China as the Hetalia character. I mean, if anon wanted to be angry at somebody he should be talking to Himaruya... anyway, the only thing that bothered me was the way that ask was formulated. I was probably a bit too harsh in my answer, but I just can’t stand that kind of holier-than-thou attitude I clearly read in anon’s words, it’s one of my biggest pet peeves.

@ramenproductions NO NO DON’T WORRY THAT’S NOT DUMB i’m sorry i just jumped to... that conclusion and i’m just SUPER PARANOID because hetalia has, for some reason (aka: things people did and hopefully don’t do anymore back when the fandom boomed, some additions in the /english dub/ that were not in the original japanese version, the ww2 theme it had early on), earned some really bad rep and a lot of people* correlate “hetalia fan” with... f*scism/n*zi apologist and i was afraid that was what we were pointing at here and i’m like... i don’t think it’s that deep tbh, romano is not even his name (which is supposed to be “lovino”) it just refers to the location, which again is weird since rome is central italy and not southern. again himaruya didn’t really... bother much but ANYWAY since this was a joke about “happy anus”, i agree it’s hilarious gfdfh 

(*including people in me and jules’ old friend circle.... which is why we made separate hetalia accounts... and tbh now this has become my main and i regret nothing tl;dr people should fact check before throwing around certain accusations but most of the time it’s like, “i saw a post that said this so it must be true”)
