Top 5 Movies you saw this year

wow tbh I didn’t watch many movies this year as I realized yesterday when I was thinking about this for certain reasons. Or at least I feel like I didn’t watch that many? Nothing really stuck with me it seems.

Because of this, I will only mention two: Parasite and The Old Guard. Those were both wonderful in their own ways and I’m very happy I got to watch them both ^^

Top 5 TV shows you watched this year

this one is difficult bc I watched so many (and forgot even more?) but:

The Lost Tomb Reboot (my introduction to DMBJ. this drama stole my heart and helped me through the tough autumn semester!) 

Joy of Life (it’s nuts that this happened during 2020? it feels like it was ages ago)

Kingdom (such a positive surprise and I really hope we get more of this :o I really recommend!)

Detective L (easy, nice aesthetics, amazing costumes. Bai Yu was a delight as Luo Fei)

Sand Sea (I am still baffled by how much I loved this bc I had so many doubts? am happy I did tho)

Bonus: Guardian (bc it has come to stay and the rewatch has been so emotional but so rewarding)

Top 5 songs of 2020

this is a tough one too bc I’ve heard so much new music during 2020 but I will try to put it simply:

Black Swan by BTS (I absolutely adore this song. I listened to it on repeat when it came out at the beginning of the year, I have cried for it a ton, I enjoy every stage I see for it and it’s just a masterpiece. it has also helped a bit with my writing struggles that I’ve felt creeping up on me lately)

Always by By The Coast (an amazing song that always leaves me in my feels. inspires me a lot all the time)

Love me or Leave me by DAY6 (this whole album was a masterpiece and I listened to it on loop for like. two weeks? this was my favorite song on it even if I adored the rest too, especially Zombie)

all of my life by Park Won (listened to this a lot in relation to my xicheng and the wedding I finally got to write for them ;; that’s one good thing that came out of this year tbh)

雨人 by 刘畅 (Liu Chang) (with the Reboot’s ending song, this one is my favorite on that ost. I love Liu Chang’s voice, I loved Liu Sang as a character and as I said, I loved Reboot as a drama. I get super emotional about this ost so I think it defined this year a lot for me)

All For The Game -trilogy (listened to these as audiobooks but that counts right?)

The Song of Achilles (as an audiobook too and really adored the reader’s voice)

The Smoke Thieves -series (I really just binge read the two first books in this series and am so excited for the next one!)

Guardian novel (am not very into these novels usually but I was positively surprised this time? it was so cool to finally get the original story and compare it with the drama version)

joined mdzsnet and met all the amazing ppl there and got to become part of this loving community and :��) I’m so thankful, it’s been a joy

learned more about editing? or started doing it regularly. I still can’t do shit but am having fun learning more all the time and I really hope that maybe the upcoming year I can switch to PS and try out giffing?

went to Halsey’s concert! it was in february so a bit before all the hassle with covid happened over here ;; it was super cool and so nice and I just. I love Halsey

fell into the DMBJ hellhole which am very much enjoying. it’s a great universe and the story is so good and the dramas have been so fun to watch and. it feels like a good continuation to The Untamed somehow haha (also brought me a new friend! you’re amazing ashen!! ♥)

started therapy and it’s been... a journey. but towards something better I think? it’s something I would’ve needed ages ago but it’s better late than never I suppose

1. first creation and most recent creation of 2020: wow it’s been a while since I’ve looked at this horrible creation but here ya go jkdhgk [x]. I’ve come a long way from this (and my xicheng has come a long way from this too). most recent one is this xiaoge edit that I absolutely adore [x]. 

2. one of your favorite creations from 2020: this wwx edit that was part of my agust d2 edit series [x]. I loved to give him blue instead of his typical red. 

3. a new style you tried this year and a gifset edit that uses it: this [x] wwx edit which I don’t know if I like or not but I was playing around with the font and all the effects instead of just normal screenshots + coloring. also I just adore the quote. 

4. a creation to be proud of: I could mention that xiaoge here but in addition, I will also say this wu xie edit for reboot [x]. I managed to capture my vision so well, I was surprised. for cql, this songxiao edit [x]. I loved how it turned out in the end. 

5. a creation that took forever: this wangxian edit [x]. like I’ve said several times, I lost sleep bc of it. I just kept struggling with the third pic and how to place the text there D: 

6. your creation from 2020 that received the most notes: this lwj/wangxian edit [x]. I had many ideas for this edit when I first started making it and I never managed to capture my vision in the way I first intended... the pictures I was supposed to use just never fit quite right sigh. I dunno why it was this one that gained all the notes in the end bc I personally think I have better ones too but am still thankful :’D 

7. a creation you think deserved more notes: as said, dmbj fandom on tumblr is very small so I really want to say the two already mentioned ones (wu xie and xiaoge) and then my pingxie edits [x] [x]. also these wwx edits which I personally am very happy about [x] [x]. and from my agust d2 series, this yun bros one [x].

8. a new fandom you joined and a creation you made for it: really just dmbj this year and I’ve already linked all of my creations for that :’D tho I have plans for another pingxie edit and a liu sang edit! oh and maybe I could mention guardian here with this shen wei [x]. I had so much fun while making it (also the quote just haunted me relentlessly until I gave it a moment).

Hi Betts! I was wondering if you had any advice on writing dialogue that's both in character and also get across the necessary points of the conversation. I feel like a lot of the time I'm either letting my characters wander off on tangents or they sound like robots expositing or saying weird quips to get plot points across

dialogue is certainly tough. one time i asked one of my favorite writers why none of his novels have any dialogue (every time a character speaks it’s embedded in the narration), and he, a man who can articulate all of his craft choices using fancy words i have to look up every time i’m done talking to him, said simply that dialogue made him feel awkward. which goes to show that everyone struggles with it at least a little.

here are my quick tips for good dialogue:

pare it down by (at least) half

if a character says 8 words, cut 4 of them. if a character says 100 words, get it down to 10. with dialogue, less is always more. sometimes you have to over-write in order to find out what a conversation is really doing. and once you figure it out, get it down to almost nothing. 

i hate to break out the whole “writing is re-writing” but you have to get it wrong in order to get it right. and when it comes to dialogue, sometimes you need to write 200 lines to drill it down to the handful that matter. 

every interaction is a transaction

which is to say, every character wants something out of an interaction. as the writer, it’s your job to figure out who wants what and how they’re going to get it. ask yourself: what is being transacted here?

let dialogue stand on its own

if you write the line, “get back here!” you do not then need “he shouted loudly.” you probably don’t even need “he shouted” because the exclamation point is doing all that work for you. 

your characters’ voice should be strong and distinct enough that you can cut almost all clarifying dialogue tags unless 1) the way they are saying something changes the meaning of what they are saying (ex: “i want to die,” he said cheerily), or 2) you need to straight-up state who is doing the talking. 

utilize concise punctuation

if you listen to the way people actually talk, they pause and start and stop and use fragments. maybe you don’t need to do the “i-i-i-” stammer (unless your character has a stutter?) but you could do something like, “i, i just wanted to tell you, i have feelings for you.” or, “look, i just. i don’t know. i have feelings for you, okay.” see how the commas and periods are placed at natural pauses rather than clunky punctuation like ellipses and em-dashes*? 

*i do use a lot of em-dashes in dialogue, but usually when someone hard-stops mid-sentence or is interrupted. note also that if you have an interruption, you usually need to go two or so words beyond where you want them to be interrupted.

(ps problematic opinion but i love the word “like.” i use “like” all the time, both in speaking and in dialogue. some people rely on “like” to get their point across. if it’s right for the character, it’s right for the dialogue.)

pay attention to cadence and patterns

people speak in rhythms determined by things like their upbringing, the shape of their mouths, their given audience. we usually say things in short bursts. almost no one monologues, and when they do, it’s mostly only to tell a story. even the most verbose of us only speak a handful of words at a time. 

i used to date a guy who had this bizarre rhythm to everything he said. it was like, “xyz, whatever.” three quick things in a row, followed by “whatever.” that was the first time i really noticed cadence.

my grandma does this thing where everything she says sounds like she’s spilling the tea. she repeats phrases to emphasize all her points. “they said this should all be done by april, and i say it’s not realistic. it’s not realistic!” or “milk was two-forty-nine, can you believe it? two-forty-nine!”

watch your go-to bodily markers

he bit his lip. he bit his cheek. he licked his lips. he fidgeted. he ran his hand down his face. he pinched the bridge of his nose. he scratched the back of his neck. or god forbid, he SMIRKED (if i never read the word “smirk” again it would be too fucking soon). 

you may need to write these out for your own sake; we write as the process of thought, so sometimes we reach for these descriptions while we are thinking about what we need the character to say. later, almost all of them can be cut. the ones that can’t be cut are the ones that are not in line with what a character is saying and therefore add additional meaning or complexity to the dialogue. 

if your character is nervously rambling, for example, we do not then need 17 physical descriptions of the nervousness. however, if your character is pretending to be nervous, then we might need a hint or two that they’re putting on some kind of performance, and what they’re saying is not matching up with their body language.

read out loud

sorry to parrot hemingway right now but this is the realest real. if you read your dialogue out loud and you cringe to yourself and think, no one would ever say this? that’s a good sign you need to keep tweaking it until it sounds more natural.

of course, to caveat all of this, you are not obligated to make dialogue realistic. you always get to choose the aesthetic aims and style of your work. if you want your story to sound like an aaron sorkin screenplay, then that’s your vision and you should go for it. all writing is valid and important, and all interests are valid and important.

Honestly, I just want to bandwagon on calling you a nerd in your ask box. So, hey nerd, how would you recommend someone who’s intimidated by the scale of Kingdom Hearts get into the franchise?

i love people just going "hey nerd", good trend

and honestly, i'd say if you're interested, just start with the original kingdom hearts 1 and see how you feel about it. it's definitely a lot to take in, and not everyone wants more than the first game, which is fair! while i think it’s one of (if not the best) game series out there, it’s certainly a bit of an acquired taste, and all the different titles and seeming lack of coherent order can be super intimidating.

kh1 though is kind of free from all of that. obviously later titles add more to it, but the first kh had to stand on its own, and does so extremely well in my opinion. it has an extremely strong aesthetic, and its story strikes a good balance that’s uniquely its own brand of weird, but still approachable. if you fall in love with the first game, odds are the rest of the series will have something to offer you. but just the same, if you don’t end up liking it, no harm no foul.

some more detailed rambling about how you'd get your hands on it and what order the series should be played in under the cut.

unless you've still got a functional ps2, odds are you'll be picking up the 1.5 remix, which has kingdom hearts final mix, re:chain of memories, and a summary of 358/2 days. don't worry about the "final mix" and "re:" stuff - final mix is identical to vanilla kh1, just with some small additions. and re:com is just a ps2 remake of the original chain of memories, which was on the gameboy advance, but it covers the exact same story. the only part of the 1.5 remix i don't love is the fact that you can't play through 358/2 days, which is my personal favorite game in the series. but again, unless you have a ds or 3ds handy, that's the version of the game you're getting.

i think most platforms at this point have 1.5 for sale pretty cheap. think my japanese copy of 1.5 + 2.5 for ps4 was around $25? it's a good deal if you know you wanna play through all of what's available. i think ps3 is the only platform you can currently buy 1.5 and 2.5 individually on. if you’re playing on ps4 or xbox one, you’ll be getting the 1.5 + 2.5 combo. but again, they’re not too expensive in general and at least on ps they go on sale fairly often.

if you wanted a full list of the games in the order you should play, generally the order they're in on the 1.5, 2.5, and 2.8 remixes is pretty good! but for clarity, that's:

1) kingdom hearts 2) re:chain of memories 3) 358/2 days (will be a summary film, unless you can play the original ds game) 4) kingdom hearts 2 5) birth by sleep 6) re:coded (will be a summary film, unless you can play the original ds game) 7) dream drop distance 8) 0.2 a fragmentary passage 9) back cover (a short film summarizing lore from union x) 10) kingdom hearts 3

despite only 3 of them being numbered in a traditional order, none of the games are really spin offs or unnecessary. even the most recent addition, melody of memory, which is a RHYTHM GAME, has story-related content. but only the ones i listed are necessary to have a full grasp of kh3. the only one i’d really argue you could skip is re:coded, but even then you’d at least need to read a summary of the game. of course, that’s if you’re invested lol.

but yeah, my advice would be to just pick up kh1 and see how you feel first!

i haven’t checked in a bit but i’m about 5′2″ (ish) so that’s around 158cm (*sighs* yeah i know... i’m pretty short)

i actually got a haircut yesterday before my blackpink concert hehe so now my hair is layered and it goes a little past my shoulders. i didn’t start growing out my hair until late last year since i used to always cut it short (like, a little above my shoulders) so yeah... i used to dye my hair a longgg longggg time ago but now it’s its original color which is dark brown 

(3) what color are your eyes? 

a solid brown (not totally light, but not too dark) (my mom has really pretty light brown eyes but they didn’t get passed down to me so ahhaha *cries*)

yes, but no (?) i have glasses but i don’t wear them 24/7 since my eyesight isn’t that bad... i only wear them in class when i’m too far away from the board. i have kinda circular, brown glasses (lmao, i know no one asked but...)

i used to wear braces a couple of years ago so now i just wear my retainers once a week (you’re supposed to wear them every night but whatever,,, i’m pretty lazy and irresponsible and my teeth haven’t shifted sooo once a week will do ahah)

i would like to say that i’m more of a hard worker than a naturally smart person, but i am currently getting straight As and for those of you who live in the us, i’m taking 5 APs (which totally sucks :’( but i’m handling them kinda well... i think). and i don’t really like being complimented because one of my biggest fears is of me becoming arrogant so let’s move on,,, pls.

i used to watch kdramas a longgg time ago, but i kinda stopped but idk why... but my favorite tv shows are friends, the office, stranger things, jane the virgin, etc, etc... i can literally name so many tv shows that i’ve watched but then i’d go rambling on and on and on and i don’t want to bore anyone...

(15) favorite movie? 

forrest gump !!! (and also, did anyone see the two bts movies? i watched both of them at cgv and i literally exploded when i saw the members... okay, moving on (sorry... i get off topic really easily)) 

(16) favorite books? 

i read a book called “pachinko” by min jin lee over the summer and it was so! freaking! good!!! i highly recommend it everyone~ it’s a historical fiction novel about 3-4 generations of this korean family who lived in korea and then moved to japan. it takes place a little before the korean war and it talks about the discrimination that koreans faced in japan at the time. i recently went to the library to check it out since i wanted to read it again but they didn’t have an english copy of the book so i’m reading it in korean at the moment. 

(17) favorite pastime? 

rewatching and rewatching and rewatching bangtan. oh, and streaming their new album ;) oh, and stressing over the new test questions on the fan cafe that the staff upload every week (i need to level up but the test is so hard... i cry every time) 

and writing for this blog! i originally made this blog to de-stress and write some scenarios and reactions and i didn’t know that people would actually like them and respond to them,,, so hey, thank you :) you make me happy every day

ahhh finally... the question i’ve been waiting for... so if you get to know me, i really really really reallyyyyy love traveling and i’m so grateful for all the opportunities i’ve been given to travel at such a young age. 

so, let me just list all the places i’ve been to (an i know not all of these are countries, or out of the us, but just hear me out,,, okay?) : france, italy, south korea, mexico, us (hawaii, nevada, utah, etc (lol, i can’t remember all of them)) 

my favorite location out of all of these places is definitely italy <3 (italy has my heart)... i stayed at rome and i also visited pompeii and positano (which were absolutely stunning and beautiful). i went to rome last spring (around april/may) and i personally, really love sightseeing and history and since rome is full of those two things i reallyyy enjoyed it there. oh, and don’t even get me started with the food <3333 

i also really loved france... i stayed at paris and my favorite thing about paris was definitely the louvre museum (once again, i love art history) as well as this place called montmarte (ahh! it’s so pretty) 

and last but not least, (as much as i love love loveee south korea) i really enjoyed mexico! i love calming, relaxing vacation spots so i got to go to cancun (twice!) and snorkel and swim and see little fishies in the clear turquoise ocean... yeah, i miss it there... :(

I decided today would be a good day to clean out my book bag (or am I just procrastinating editing a paper that’s due tomorrow?), so if you’re into it...

What’s In My Bag Challenge!

I’ve never done this before. I took pictures of everything I found in my bag, so I’m just going to include, like, literally everything I found. Since I’ve actually never cleaned out this book bag in the 3 years I’ve used it for college. PS I’m organizing this post by the different pockets of my bag (there are 5), I’ll explain what I found, and provide pictures below each description with the appropriate items in the picture. Let the fun begin!

Laptop Sleeve: My laptop is the only thing in my laptop sleeve, unless I need my charger for it then I’ll shove that in there as well. It’s a MacBook Air, and I got the case for it off of Amazon. It’s a hardcover case, not a sleeve type of thing. I’m just now realizing that’s kind of a crappy picture, so apologies.

Tiny Pocket (a random shallow pocket probably meant as a built-in pencil case or something (now that I think about it maybe I should use that as a pencil case omg)): This is where I’ve started keeping my post-it notes, since the pocket is shallow and not much else fits in there (something money) so the post-its don’t get crushed or bent or something. I tried to buy pastel colored post-its at Target, and this is as close as I could get. Part of me was really into the studyblr aesthetic of Pastel Everything, but another part of me just prefers the pale colors because it’s easier to read the writing on them. Also I love pastels.

Main Pocket: This is the magical place where I keep all of my books, notebooks, homework, etc. First, I pulled out this scene v. summary exercise I had to do for my nonfiction writing class today.

Then I pulled out my grey dotted Leuchtturm writing journal (which I’m LOVING by the way).

After that are 3 of my textbooks, one for my nonfiction writing class and 2 for my critical writing about literature course. I won’t go into the long titles of each textbook here, but if you’re super curious about what books these are feel free to shoot me an ask or private message me.

And finally (from this pocket) we have my super basic 3 subject black spiral notebook for notes in 3/4 of my classes (my nonfiction class consists of me taking notes in my writing journal and scribbling notes inside my textbook), and we have a course packet for my critical writing about literature course. This just contains a bunch of readings we have to do that require us to annotate the heck out of, so our professor developed her own course packet with the readings inside so we don’t have to run around finding a printer every other day of the week.

4th Pocket (because I can’t think of an identifying name for it): In this pocket we have four things. First, we have a tiny little coin purse that actually has change in it and I’m a little shook (yes it’s my money but I’m a broke college student and it’s money I didn’t know I had so win). Below that, yes, that is a flask. No, it does not have anything in it. No, I do not have it in my bag for those stressful days full of classes where I feel like I just need a drink. I actually purchased this last November(?) when I was visiting my boyfriend and we wanted to go tailgating before the football game and...yeah. I’ll let you fill in the blanks. Or just ask me about it if you’re curious, hopefully I won’t get in trouble LOL. Anyway, to take it back home with me I stuffed it in this pocket of my bag and forgot about it. It’s chrome and changes color in the sun between green purple and blue and I love it a lot. The notebook is full of letters to my boyfriend. Last year I started writing to him in a notebook because it would calm me down. My boyfriend has a habit of trying to fix all of my problems, even if he can’t (cough cough depression and anxiety) so I made it a habit to write to him when I really needed to talk about something at length and knew he would just want to fix it or not know what to say. The plan was to fill it, but I haven’t written in it since before last summer, which I consider a good thing actually. Lastly we have that book, which I just found at home and brought back to school with me. We talked about both of these stories in a class last week and I remembered reading them and wanted to read them again, and I didn’t even realize I owned the book until last weekend! So I packed it and I want to read and annotate it when I find time.

Front and Final Pocket: Honestly this pocket just has a bunch of crap in it. But I’ll go through it all anyway. Here, we have my cheaters. I’m convinced I need glasses, but the last time I got my eyes checked they told me I don’t need glasses (and couldn’t help me with the problem I’ve been having, which is so irritating). I got cheaters and without going into full-on detail and making this post longer than it already is, they helped me a lot.

Here we have a tiny little binder clip that says “Reminder” and an old receipt from when I bought some books at the bookstore. There’s a folded post-it note with a shopping list on it, 3 business cards from people I worked with last summer at my internship, melt-aways for headaches because I can’t take pills, some tissues (not used I swear), some random little tiny black plastic things that came with my wireless earbuds I think, and my iPhone earbuds with the adapter plugged into it since I have the 7.

Here you can see my cheaters peaking in at the top corner haha sorry. I have an old receipt at the top, and MORE of those little black plastic things (WTF). A crushed box full of band-aids, a pair of gloves, a foldable ruler, and the bottom handle part of an umbrella (the rest of the umbrella is missing).

A bunch of pens and a pencil and a highlighter, blank notecards I didn’t know I had and another thing of post-its! The deal with these colored pens is that last semester I bought them and they worked great in the beginning. Flawlessly. I tried using them this semester, and they’re jumpy now. I’m not sure if I just used them all up, but I don’t think I did because I only used a couple of the colors and this semester I tried using the ones I hadn’t used as much last semester and they were acting jumpy. So idk what that’s about, I’ll be throwing those away though. Maybe I’ll try a new pack. That black pen is my favorite, I use that to write in my writing journal and sometimes to annotate and to take notes in class. That purple pen (with the cap) is what I use to annotate along with that purple highlighter. I like my highlighters to match my pens when I annotate, and all my other highlighters were too bright or too dark. This purple is pale enough to not be overwhelming on the eyes and the purple pen matches great. And I just found that pencil, I’ve been wondering where it was, so now yay I have a pencil. Great timing since I have an exam next Friday.

Lastly, we have these 3 things. The bottom left corner are 2 notecards I used to test pens for you guys last semester, some of the pens above actually. These last two items are pretty special to me. First, the card on the top is the thank-you card my boyfriend wrote my family after his graduation from high school. We gave him some pretty awesome gifts (ask if you’re curious, won’t go into it now) and he sent that thank-you. We had it hanging up on our fridge for a year and finally I decided to take it and keep it with me all the time because I think it’s really sweet. If you can’t read it here, feel free to ask what it says I’m more than happy to share. The blank square of paper on the bottom right is a birthday letter he wrote me last year. I kept it folded up because I’d like to keep it as a special thing between the two of us for now, but he’s just really special and I like to keep some of these things with me all the time.

So there you have it! Sorry that this is so long, I tend to ramble a lot. Aside from the obvious trash, I’m probably going to keep most of the stuff in this post, just maybe now in my book bag. Random ramblings.

1 I've decided to get back into applying makeup despite or because of spasticity. I will never do layered eyeshadows or contour but I always feel good with concealer and mascara.

One of my favorite things about the last couple of years on social media is watching people of all genders playing with makeup like art, because makeup is an art. And at the same time, people rejecting makeup. For me, it's always been artistic aesthetic enhancement. Husband sometimes recalls his high school goth and drama club days, and he's better at applying eyeliner. I remember that time we bantered about skin tones and concealer and I taught him how to use a concealer brush while he gave me cat eye liner.

I find red and deep pink lipstick powerful. Plus it wakes me up. I am picky, I like peptides in my lip stuff. Thanks, It Cosmetics.

2 I managed to wake up before noon today. I lay there with Callisto curled up on my arm because she stays with me and plays nurse. She even forsakes gooshyfood, waiting til I go downstairs. Husband will still put out a plate next to the dry food bowl, and she will eat after Luna eats, because she does love Daddy. But she'd rather Mommy be the one to make her plate and she will cry at me. Is this what having children is like?

3 Adderal has been doing a wonderful job of keeping me up and alert. Codeine keeps me from screaming. I've been successfully supplementing with daily L-Tyrosine, MSM, Rhodiola, Ashwagandha, Bacopa, Mucuna Dopa, caffeine with the theanine, serrapeptase, pterostilbene, fenugreek, shilajit, moringa, seabuckthorn, Omega3, and a specific probiotic. I cannot say any of this could work for anyone else, but a fellow autistic ADHD epileptic with EDS-3, who is in school for neurobiology and neuropharmacology, has been helping me research Bacopa, Mucuna, and MSM.

4 Oh, and husband the ninja helps me with hamstring stretching. Because I can't do yoogaa but I can do modified yoga style restorative workouts. And since there's two herniated discs in my lumbar spine, two herniated discs in my upper spine, sciatica, sacroiliitis, pinched nerves, and degeneration, I have a bunch of background chronic pain that on a daily basis pokes through and tries to get me to scream. Usually in my sleep. I do a lot of spasming, myoclonic jerks, dystonic writhing, desperate hip thrusts to shake off the feeling of being punched in the lower back with a crowbar. Sometimes I will hit myself in the back or leg to see if the pain nociceptors get the hint, it's like volleyball with stabbing. I'm amazed I get any sleep. Sometimes the only choice is more Robaxin, more Norco, occasionally having husband do a ninja nerve manipulation. I'm lucky he has so much time off, it's rare to have him home for two weeks or more, so I take advantage of his Master Splinter powers. I'm relieved he can sleep well enough to hit stage 4, he's the type who doesn't need that much sleep. His kind of ADHD is like a superpower when it's not being dysfunctional.

5 Fuck, I need breakfast, it's already 2:30 and the cat is sitting here patiently with that Look on her face. You know the one. "I love you dearly, but Feed Me." The inappropriate sinus tachycardia has kicked in just for fun. My blood sugars are low. At least I hydrated enough, I guess. I wish I could feel hunger right now. Damn you, weird neurochemistry.

Did I mention I am tired?

Fibromyalgia say I'm tired. ADHD say I'm not. It's an ongoing yelling in my autistic brain, which is already affected by random glitches. Also that seizure yesterday.

*knocks on forehead* Quit it, you guys, I'm trying to eat.
