(Okay legit reasons why I don't always just put my thoughts in a reblog rather than the tags: 1) 90% of the time I don't think I'm gonna go on a full rant in the tags until after it exists and then i do not want to rewrite what I already wrote outside tags (note: I mostly blog on mobile so it's a big pain in the ass), 2) if I were to do a full actual analysis I would want it to be more coherent and less repetitive than I am in the tags, and 3) some anxiety over just adding a big block of text on other's posts? This last one I know isn't too big of a deal, but rambling in the tags is very freeing and very low stakes.

Plus. I've had enough people repost my tags across various fandoms. I've always done the tag thing. I figured if someone DOES want to actually comment on them, they will. As it stands, I'm happy with folks going "prev tags" or just reblogging my tags. People's reactions are very rewarding~)

the Leo/need adjacent unit, composed of Ichika Hoshino, Airi Momoi, Ena Shinonome, and Minori Hanasato. ☆ a girl who's lost her friendships, and three others searching for their worth.

about the group's name: ♡ originally, i had "from here to there" in mind, but someone from the Discord gave me the name "destination point" and i thought it was much better, so i went with that. ♪

about the SEKAI: ♡ the Train SEKAI. no one knows when it left, or where it's going - just that it never stops. it's the perfect place for those who feel like they're lagging behind. just close your eyes and let yourself be carried away, right? but maybe there's something you can do… starts with a Miku and a Rin. the former's hardworking and talented, but the latter struggles - Rin is somewhat influenced by Ena's (and, to a lesser extent, Airi's) jealousy towards others.

Ichika hasn't managed to rekindle her friendship with her friends, and she's not doing particularly well. At one point, she meets Airi - who just quit being an idol. The two start talking and become friends, at which point they end up forming a band together. Airi wants to try finding a place where she could finally be taken seriously.

Ena's invited by Airi, and Minori - who had failed auditions recently - ends up inspired by Ichika's kindness, Airi's drive and Ena's determination, which is how she joins. (Haruka completely gave up on being an idol; something Minori is saddened by.)

In my mind, Ichika plays the guitar; Airi, the drums; Minori, the keyboard and Ena, the bass.

IDEAL HEAVEN! (IH)

the MORE MORE JUMP! adjacent unit, composed of Mafuyu Asahina, Emu Otori, Mizuki Akiyama and Shizuku Hinomori. ☆ an up-and-coming idol group that combines cuteness and sophistication.

about the SEKAI: ♡ quite similar to the Empty SEKAI, but with some idol influences - a broken stage with no one in sight. there's no bright lights, no colorful props. nothing. that SEKAI both comforts and pains Mafuyu. home to a lone Miku. sweet, hopeful, but genuinely crushed by the pressure she's feeling.

Mafuyu's mother wants a perfect child. idols are very frequently represented as being perfect - so, she decides that her daughter should become one, too. Mafuyu's not keen on the idea, but that's her mother; she's obedient, so she goes along with it.

Shizuku still quit Cheerful * Days, but instead of stopping altogether she ends up with Mafuyu. Emu wants to make people smile, but no one ever came; Wonderlands × Showtime was never a thing. so she decides to become an idol instead, even if it means she'll never bring back the Wonder Stage to its former state.

Mizuki's half-dragged into IDEAL HEAVEN! by Emu, who saw them looking with interest at idol merch. after bringing them to meet Mafuyu and Shizuku, Mizuki ends up accepting - the idea of wearing cute clothes and being called cute doesn't seem too terrible.

READY MADE SUCCESS (RMS)

the Vivid BAD SQUAD adjacent unit, composed of Haruka Kiritani, An Shiraishi, Shiho Hinomori and Akito Shinonome. ☆ two street musicians chasing after their dream, and the two girls they brought with them.

about the SEKAI: ♡ the Street SEKAI. weirdly, it seems Haruka's idol background has somewhat influenced its appearance. its inhabitants are Miku, Meiko and Len. this Miku is levelheaded, but it seems like there's something holding her back from going all-in...

after quitting being an idol, Haruka is invited by An to join her.

An's never met Kohane, and she never found a partner. Haruka is hesitant for a moment before deciding to give it a shot, though she keeps struggling with singing. Shiho tries getting more experience, meets Akito. no one really knows how these two ended together, but they both have a similar drive and take music very seriously.

eventually, they all start working together. Haruka deals with her guilt and, while she doubts she'll become an idol again, she's mostly made peace with what happened.

STARLIGHT ☆ EVERMORE (S ☆ E)

the Wonderlands × Showtime adjacent unit, composed of Tsukasa Tenma, Saki Tenma, Kanade Yoisaki and Toya Aoyagi. ☆ a strange troupe of people who aim to help others through their performances.

about the SEKAI: ♡ still very much Tsukasa's, so it's the Wonderland SEKAI. [kanade goes there for the first time and dies. alas, they're still a shut-in and this place is simply too colorful for her poor eyes.] starts with a Miku and a Kaito, though this version of the former uses far less onomatopoeias.

Tsukasa figures he needs to show the world how much of a star he is himself, and he drags his siblings into it (with varying degrees of willingness).

a part of Saki still wishes she could be in a band with her friends; she's only somewhat managed to repair her friendship with Ichika. but she's still happy to do something fun and lighthearted after all her struggles. Toya's very excited to do something with Tsukasa and his siblings. he also gets to stick it to his dad, which, honestly - is a bonus.

out of the three, Kanade is obviously the most hesitant about the whole thing. but she sees Tsukasa's drive to make others happy, something she shares with him, so she ends up agreeing. Kanade is… slightly healthier physically on account of the stubborn people looking after her, as well as all the exercise she does she does as part of Starlight ☆ Evermore. mentally? eh… we'll get there. i need her traumatized to be interesting. <3

LONELY SYNDROME (LS)

the 25-ji, Nightcord de. adjacent unit, composed of Nene Kusanagi, Rui Kamishiro, Honami Mochizuki and Kohane Azusawa. ☆ hidden behind avatars, these citizens of the web tell stories online.

about the SEKAI: ♡ the arcade SEKAI. this Miku is shy and withdrawn, though she one day hopes she'll be able to break out of her shell, just like Nene. alongside her is Luka - she has a bit of a teasing attitude and a catlike personality, but she always does her best to boost Nene's confidence.

about the group's name: ♡ syndrome refers to a group of symptoms - i paired it with the word lonely because i felt like it represented the atmosphere of an arcade. you're connected with people who share your interests, but at the same time, you're sort of separate from them. surrounded by people, but utterly alone…

Nene's social anxiety hasn't gotten better over the years. since she never joins Wonderlands × Showtime, she doesn't learn how to fight her stage fright.

but, she finds an alternate solution; using an avatar online. it's less stress-inducing, and it lets her pursue acting, in a way - it's not what Nene wants, but it's close enough. she figures she could be satisfied with that. Rui ends up figuring out what she's doing, and asks if he can help. Nene doesn't really have any reason to say no, so they start working together.

as for Honami and Kohane, they ended up on Nene's channel by pure accident. but her performances quickly became a comfort to them, since they were struggling at the time (the former because she no longer had her friends, the latter because of her lack of confidence).

unfortunately, ignoring your problems only goes so far, and eventually, her feelings give birth to the arcade SEKAI.

After Kai mentioned/reminded me that witches can do more than just their main magic specialty (I owe you my life by the way if you're reading this KJKLJSGJDJKLKLJG), I was hit with an epiphany about the kind of magic both Leo AND Elric use and how they can both perhaps have an extra, secondary magic specialty, as a treat. Truth be told, I didn't even realize I kind of already gave Leo a second one until yesterday, but JKSDKJGJKGJKS

For now (unless I change anything for any reason (minus Leo's lightning magic dkjfgkljdfkg), here's the magic specialties I have in mind for the two of them:

Leo

Main magic specialty: Lightning (fire)

Secondary magic specialty: Earth

He creates decorative, interactive magic sculptures out of lightning, but he uses earth magic in order to create glass from sand for the lightning magic to go into. He's actually really good at making pretty glasses for his lightning sculptures, and it's honestly a wonder why he didn't pursue a career in making gorgeous glass sculptures instead

Reasoning Behind Them

Lightning (fire): Aside from being picked by a friend during his creation, Leo has a fiery, electric personality that shows through even the darkest of times. He's warm and radiant, and once he's set his sights on a goal to obtain, he stops at nothing to make sure he gets there

Earth: In spite of the fears, anxieties and struggles he faces, Leo is far more bold and resilient than he gives himself credit for. He's able to push himself through anything and keep himself grounded in reality when it matters most, and even if times get tough he's always able to build himself up again somehow. He just has to learn to trust himself more

Elric

Main magic specialty (so far; special thanks to Kai for helping put a word to what it's called KJSJKLDGJKLG): Illusion

Secondary magic specialty: Water

Although he doesn't consider himself anything special beyond the witch-for-hire moniker he holds, Elric is able to perform illusion magic. Even with his secondary magic specialty, it's plain to see he's skilled in both areas, though you wouldn't be likely to hear him brag about it anytime soon

Reasoning Behind Them

Illusion: His greatest illusion is hiding from himself. Illusion magic provides him a distraction from the person he can't seem to recognize and doesn't have any intentions to. He's in constant turmoil with himself trying to find the person he wants to be vs. what others have always expected him to be, and he's kept up the facade of what others expected of him for so long that he's not even sure if there is a version of himself to be found amid the chaotic layers of imposter syndrome, let alone one he feels he can face every waking moment of his life with confidence and peace of mind

Water: As turbulent and unpredictable as his thoughts and emotions can be, there comes times where he can ebb and flow with whatever life throws at him and take on the world before him with little resistance, as if he's always been able to carry himself on his own two feet. Calmer tides and inspiration take stride, and when he's around the right person, they can bring out the reflection of the man Elric hadn't even realized he already was and can be, so long as he doesn't overthink it and get carried away with his more negative emotions

Tiny fun fact: While their main magic specialties are complete opposites of each other, their secondary specialties are harmonized and in-sync. Despite how different they may be, there's parts about them both that make their bond that much more remarkable when they work together and lift each other up

Cheshire kinda became a little clingy and dependent on Alistair. Which isn’t good when Alistair’s main way of coping with things when he’s mad is to isolate and then never talk about it. So Cheshire would usually feel anxious about whether or not he actually made Alistair angry.

If he asked whether that was the case, Alistair would always answer no but Cheshire usually wouldn’t ask cause he didn’t want to be a bother.

But they were the best of friends and Cheshire was hit the hardest by Alistair’s death since Alis was kinda his only close friend. Cheshire isn’t very good at maintaining relationships(just in general)

so many people think i'm like. a teenager? like i always hear fifteen or sixteen, it's always so funny to see the look of shock on their faces when i tell them i'm 22, haha. in their defense, though, i've had basically the same face since i was a kid, literally if you look at a picture of me as a toddler versus a picture of me now very little has changed so XD

unfortunately no but GOD do i want them!! my sibling has offered to pierce my ears if i buy a piercing kit off of amazon, which, listen, i understand that's risky, but he's given himself piercings before, so as long as i do all the aftercare i trust him to not give me an infection lmao. i also have some that i want that should probably be done by a professional but that's not what the question is asking so i'll stop there i guess hgldskjflk

21: What I love most about myself

agh, the trick of self love again! this may seem a little superficial but i genuinely love the way i have interest in/am willing to dabble in things that are so, like.....varied? idk, i know it's not super unique ghaldkfj, but looking at my past and current hyperfixations, a lot of them are pretty different from each other, and i think that's kinda neat? it's not just that either--my playlists are comprised of, well, mostly indie lol, but there's a mishmash of other genres too, sometimes ones that feel like they probably shouldn't go together but that i love and wanna share with the world equally anyway, creatively i've had at least a passing interest in wanting to try my hand in creating a lot of different art forms (book writing, webcomics, game design, tv shows....), and hell, my blog is a messy collage of things i like and interest me no matter how much they clash, and i. i don't know, i think that's kinda neat! i think i'm cool for it! or at least i'd like to think so ghldksfjk idk y'all can be the judge of that i guess. i just think it's fun :')
