Headcanon Time 🗣️🗣️

I think that Spencer secretly learned Spanish for Elle, but he never got to show it off because she left before he got the chance to show it off to her.

The only time he showed it was at the start when he just learned, (the dog house bit) but cause he was corrected he was a bit embarrassed so he didn't speak it until he mastered it.

Unfortunately, he mastered it a bit too late. He never got the chance to show Elle what he learned for her. He regretted not telling her earlier, not letting her know what he was doing for her.

He never showed it off to the team either. He specifically learned it for Elle, but with her gone, he didn't think the rest of the team would care. He thought maybe he would use it if he needed it for a case, but he never did. Then Emily came, and since she knew Spanish, he never had to use it.

So since he never showed his new learned language, nobody on the team knew about it. When Luke joined, he of course didn't know either.

That's until one day, he was talking to him mom on the phone in Spanish with Spencer nearby. The conversation was mostly casual, and Luke didn't feel the need to gi anywhere because, firstly, he trusted Spencer and the conversation wasn't private, and secondly, to Luke's knowledge, he didn't know Spanish anyways.

His mom, being a mother of course, asked Luke about his love life. More specifically about his crush on "el blanquito" (the white boy).

Luke got a bit flustered but continued his conversation with his mom trying to steer the conversation away because Spencer is right there. But his mom doesn't care because its not like he'll understands him anyways.

They end up talking about him, much to Luke's dismay. Luke unfortunately ends up gushing to his mom about Spencer, all while he's right there.

Luke ends up telling him mom how he's practically in love with him but he's scared to admit it because he doesn't know if Spencer likes men.

Spencer tries to remain calm but he's completely flustered hearing Luke gush about him and indirectly confess his love to him.

He doesn't know what to do, because even though he just heard his crush confirm he likes him back, he doesn't know what to do next. He wasn't even supposed to know all that, and he feels a bit guilty.

Spencer decides to ask Luke out for dinner later that day (after discussing it with Garcia of course), but in Spanish!

Luke is surprised at Spencer knowing Spanish, and actually gets excited for a moment, of course the whole thing only making his crush bigger. But then he remembers his earlier conversation with his mom.. with Spencer nearby.

Hes absolutely horrified over it and asks Spencer if that meant he understood everything he told his mom.

Luke is extremely embarrassed over the whole thing because he said so many things about Spencer that he might have not told him quite yet, but confirms that he did mean everywhere he said, and he'd love they went out.

Anyways, they obviously end up going to dinner and Luke being the guy he is, pays for the food even though Spencer fights it. "He can pay for the second date!"

right i have to ramble guys cos Domestic!Ralvez is too cute this includes roxi!! + sleepy intimacy (fav mini trope) + lil spice

when spencer comes over to luke's apartment roxi would be sat waiting to greet him and it spooked spencer the first few times as he was uncomfortable around animals especially big dogs

he got used to Roxi since he realised every time he was upset or worried she would climb on the sofa and lay over spencer's legs much to luke's protests about roxi being on the sofa (which he gave up on after noticing she was stopping spencer's panic attacks before they even fully developed)

roxi loved spencer when she first met him (just like luke)

once spencer realised roxi was trying to comfort him and she was a big teddy bear he relaxed enough to give claps and pets

luke wonders if spencer loves roxi more than him sometimes

spencer says he loves them both equally

spencer and roxi love to have a cuddle when luke goes out on his everyday occasional morning runs

lukes runs used to be every morning but spencer always pulls him in for cuddles

every time luke says his runs are productive spencer mumbles back "cuddling burns more calories" and luke relents i mean how could he possibly say no to sleepy spencer

Also spencer and lukes sleepy intimacy is so dang cute

like spencer will be tried but reading a book AT A NORMAL PACE because hes tired and luke will see spencers eyes fluttering closed now and again and hell watch for a while and take the book away after 5ish minutes and let spencer cuddle into him as he reads the book aloud finishing the page/ chapter while spencer just lays in his arms

and lukes aftercare on spencer is just so dang loving hell lay spencer down and run him a nice warm bath with his favoured bath salts and essential oils and making sure its the perfect temp

but SPENCERS aftercare is phenomenal he cleans luke up giving him some water and sit him on the chair before changing the sheets laying back in bed with luke and just give cuddles for hours

in conclusion i love ralvez so much they are my cutie pies

Random Ralvez Headcanon (though it can be just seem as platonic, whatever floats your river I just love them) one day, Luke noticed that Spencer came to the office a bit down (cause y'know, his life was ruined) and decided to talk to him- finds him reading something and decides hey, that would be the perfect topic to start with- sadly people very rarely get interested on what Reid does so when Alvez came to him and ask him what he was reading is like a twitch went on and he got all "Oh you might actually love this one! I can lend it to you if you wan-" and Luke, wanting to keep the Golden Retriever energy, took the book and nodded without even thinking about it, which made Spencer even more excited before the two got called for a case.

The book was in Korean.

The next day Matt finds Luke learning Korean, stressed.

Spencer had an English copy of it all along but Luke never asked and the genious never stopped to think about the fact that not everyone knows Korean.

They are very dumb.

Oh hehe… Jennifer Jareau, where do I begin? All her life, she’s been in control of so many things, but only she knows that while everyone thinks otherwise. She likes to take advantage of this, though, because the minute she gets the upper hand, people are shocked with how much she can really do. She knows what she wants and how to get it with just the right amount of manipulation.

Ooh that’s a bunch haha. I think when people say Haley was too selfish to have Hotch be at home when she did have valid reasons to ask him.

This might be an unpopular opinion, idk why but I personally cannot see Reid as a parent. He’s good with kids, but I can’t see him actually having one of his own.

Luke Alvez speaks and understands ASL and I love that so much. (How are other people not worshipping the ground that man walks on???)

I can't stop imagining Spencer having a rough day and going non-verbal because of it and Luke just casually suggests to use ASL so Spencer can communicate his needs. Spencer probably knows Luke can speak and understand ASL but would still be surprised that Luke is comfortable with using it more often. Ever since then Spencer signs whenever he doesn't feel like speaking and Luke more often than not signs back (mostly out of habit).

you said you were looking for some ralvez pining headcanons, and i have worms in my brain that just scream them at me all day long so here they are:

- luke was the first to start pining. he had heard from other agents about the amazing dr reid before he joined the team, but no one ever mentioned that he was so pretty and kind.

- luke almost immediately learns spencer’s coffee order and favorite donut and he likes to bring spencer in some treats so that he could hang around him longer in the mornings

- luke thinks he’s slick for that, he’s not. the entire team just smirks at each other and places bets on how long it’ll take them to get together.

- spencer doesn’t quite realize his feelings until one day luke runs a little late and spencer notices the immense butterflies and excitement to having luke do something so simple as come to his desk in the morning.

- spencer panics and immediately scrambles to penelope and just DUMPS it on her. like, “oh my god penelope i think i like luke. he’s just so smart and nice and not to mention he’s very handsome-“ and garcia just shakes her head bc they had all seen it way before spencer did

- now that spencer’s aware of his feelings. he gets hit with the fact that emily almost always pairs him and luke to go to the coroners or to the vics house.

- luke picks up on the fact that spencer’s acting suspicious and it freaks him out. in his brain spencer could never like him back, but he’s been noticing spencer blushing anytime he says anything.

- spencer also doesn’t think there’s any way that luke could like him back. until one night when they have a case in a small town and they have to pair off in hotel rooms.

- everyone on the team has noticed the pining, so they made sure that the only two that haven’t chose room partners yet were spencer and luke (little matchmakers i stg)

- when they get up to their room, they take turns showering. spencer ofc turning scarlet red when luke comes out of the bathroom with only a towel wrapped around his waist.

- spencer may be oblivious, but he DEFINITELY notices the way luke stares at him when he comes out in his usual sleep outfit. an oversized tshirt, boxers, and his glasses.

- luke decides to be bold, and when they’re about to turn in for the night, he admits to spencer that he really likes him. they both were in different beds so spencer SHOOTS up and immediately gets on luke’s bed and kisses him.

- they spend all night snuggled up after spencer confessing he feels the same and a slight make out session.

- the team notices a hickey on spencer’s neck the next morning and they are overjoyed

Spencer spending the night at Garcia's house and using her shampoo/body wash, (which btw probably smells like strawberries or smth similar) and then when he's back with Luke he notices immediately.

Them getting close for some reason and Luke smells something different on Spencer and gets closer to him and sniffs his hair.

"Do I smell? I just showered this morning!"

"Did you change your shampoo?"

"No, but I used Garcia's shampoo."

"Oh, yeah, you smelled different."

"You noticed?"

"Of course?"

☞︎ before everything happened in the show (leading up to spencer’s arrest), we can see that they work well together

☞︎ however i think they got together after spencer got out of prison

☞︎ we saw in the show luke helping spencer acknowledge his ptss and states that he will help spencer. and i don’t think this came from a place of trying to “woo” spencer, it’s bc luke is a caring individual and knows what it is like to deal with ptss

i suck at figuring out how ppl actually get together so let’s just jump into hcs about them in an established relationship

☞︎ luke has a large family and when he takes spencer home to his family house for the holidays, luke’s family adores spencer and is amazed at how smart he is

☞︎ i think spencer would be a lil shocked and unsure but that’s because he didn’t have a huge family growing up (i can say that holidays w large latino family is insane every minute of the day lol)

☞︎ diana loves luke, casually testing luke’s knowledge of the bible and constantly references that luke is the patron of doctors (n artists!)

☞︎ spencer enjoys roxy’s companionship as him and luke often catches them cuddling on the couch (even if roxy isn’t suppose to b on it) while spencer reads

☞︎ spencer complains about the shitty university coffee so much that luke buys him a personal keurig coffee maker and k-cup pods for spencer’s lecture hall.

☞︎ they both have nightmares and were originally unsure about being in a relationship together because they didn’t want the other to leave because of their trauma- however overtime they learn what the other needs best to help cope with them

☞︎ they don’t always speak english together esp when they are alone. luke laughs at spencer’s accent when speaking spanish but tries to help him as well

☞︎ i always liked the idea that spencer actually is amazing at video games so he and luke often compete against each other or team up in certain games. however, luke was the one to introduce spencer to playing VR games (spencer didn’t enjoy those as much so he often ends up laughing as he watches luke stumble around the living room with a VR headset on)

Oh, oh, oh! Headcanon for Luke and Spencer's favorite date? <3

Here's some stuff I thought up :))

Luke always plans the date, but Spencer has firmly told Luke that he was in charge this damn (‘Oh, you know I love it when you take control’ Luke probably said with a shit eating grin, Spencer definitely blushes slightly before raising an eyebrow at Luke).

Even though Spencer practically lives with Luke at this point, he goes to his own apartment to get ready - he wants Luke to feel like it’s their first date again. They both all wear really nice (but casual) clothes.

Spencer tells Luke to be ready by seven and at seven on the dot, Spencer is knocking on his door.

Spencer gets Luke flowers because Luke always without a doubt gets Spencer flowers. And Spencer knows Luke has never been given flowers.

Luke definitely tears up. Spencer panics he has allergies that he didn’t know about, Luke reassures him it’s just the thought of the gesture. And that Spencer thought of him.

Spencer even opens the passenger door for Luke of his car and drives. Luke’s grinning like an idiot at this point. Spencer would fiddle with the radio for a minute before he starts driving. Luke loves the beatles right (I said so, so it’s now canon) and Spencer obviously knows that so that’s what he turns on.

Spencer stops driving when the car reaches a field. He parks up and gets out, turning up the radio as he does so.

He opens the door for Luke and grabs his hand, leading him out of the car. He then turns the music up full volume before leading him to a square bale of hay - there’s a blanket and a candle set up as well as a picnic basket.

The sun has already set, and they can see the stars in the sky.

It’s 100% where they first tell each other they love them.

They say it at the same time and laugh, both blushing.
