The Rainbow ranch

Rijden we het dorpje van aankomst binnen. Hobbel de bobbel. Het lijkt me heel vervelend om als blind persoon in een auto te zitten. In de verte hoor ik bellen klinken. Het lijkt een beetje op van die ouderwetse koe bellen. Nog geen idee waar ze van zijn. Als we tot stilstand zijn gekomen blijf ik nog even rustig zitten tot de wereld om me heen niet meer draait. Als ik mijn ogen open zie ik een soort woestijn achtig landschap. Houten hekken. Veel bomen, wel met groene blaadjes, dat woestijn was mijn eerst gedacht, vlak, zand, een kleur. Er loopt een groepje ezels, ik denk dat daar de bellen van zijn. Ze zien er nieuwsgierig uit. De hond rent speels over het stuk grond. Paarden in de verte. Het is zo groot, vanaf hier kan ik niet eens de omheining zien. Er staat een huisje, voorzien van een houtkachel en een oven! Ik noem specifiek de dingen die wij niet hebben in de bus. Niet verwacht dat ze hier zouden zijn. Een aangename verrassing. Veel heb ik nog niet gezien, dat is voor morgen bij daglicht. Maar er zijn zelfs douches met warm water en een wasmachine. Wat fijn.

Als we straks de bus gaan verbouwen, om het voor ons zelf te verbeteren en een plekje voor de baby te creëren kunnen we rustig aan doen en binnen slapen. Toch voelt de bus wel echt als thuis.

Alles wat je wil komt naar je toe, een uitspraak van Michael. Ik heb mezelf voorgenomen in Spanje op de boerderij niet zo veel met mijn telefoon bezig te zijn. Voor de rust en ontspanning maar ook om meer aandacht te hebben voor datgene waar je mee bezig bent. Als het internet niet werkt, word dat automatisch makkelijker. Schrijven en foto's maken kan gewoon zonder internet. Filmen en editten gelukkig ook. Ik hoop elke dag eventjes naar een internet spot te kunnen om de verhalen te delen. Wat zijn we toch afhankelijk geworden van het internet eigenlijk. Ik vind het jammer dat ik nu niet alle berichten meteen kan delen, de reacties zijn juist zo fijn!
