Hello! I saw your post about your lovely bracelets and they look so pretty, I was wondering if you would tell me about what kinds of stones they are made of especially the teal and white ones I’ve never seen ones like that, love your blog btw!

the teal ones on both of these bracelets is turquoise ! the black stones are lava stones and you can put essential oils on them, one of my best friends got me the one on top because he read that the stone helps with anxiety (very sweet of him). i'm not completely sure about the rest of the stones on the bottom bracelet since it was a gift, but I know for sure the brown reflective one is tiger's eye. there's one stone for each chakra ✨

these white beads on top are rainbow moonstone ! this picture doesn't do them justice but they also reflect this lovely shade of blue in the sunlight (kind of like labradorite but white instead of gray if you know about that stone). the pale green ones in the middle are chrysopal and the darker green ones on the bottom are variscite !

this is a bracelet i made ! it has a bead representing each planet ! labradorite for mercury, sunstone for mars, chrysocolla for earth, rainbow moonstone for the moon, rhodonite for mars, sardonyx for jupiter (you can't see it in the photo but the bead has a black spot where jupiter's red spot would be!), howlite for saturn, blue apatite for neptune, and beryl for pluto ! i love it so much because it's the only one like it that exists

So, talking specific fusions for a second. Most potential fusions wouldn’t be any particular gem since the potential for gem-anything-else fusions is higher than gem-gem fusions, but since I’ve tentatively got our core A4O cast as at least part gem, I decided to go ahead and use the traditional naming convention.

Ratchet/Tiger’s Eye and Clank/Optical Calcite are Cat’s Eye Hiddenite.

Ratchet and Qwark/Uvarovite are Variscite.

Ratchet and Nefarious/Raritanium would be Amethyst-Cacoxenite.

Clank and Qwark would be Chrysoprase.

Clank and Nefarious would be Hackmanite.

Qwark and Nefarious are Atlantisite.

Hiddenite and Qwark would be Chrome Diopside.

Hiddenite and Nefarious would be Kornerupite.

Atlantisite and Ratchet would be Kambaba Jasper

Atlantisite and Clank would be Rainbow Fluorite.

Everyone together is Mystic Topaz.

I like to think this brings a new meaning to the concept of “singular unit”

Just a couple of other A4O thoughts:

Hiddenite is fused at the beginning/during the setup. It’s one of the first times he’s hanging out casually in public. He’s also way more interested in the Z’grute than the fake Tool of Justice Award ceremony.

Nefarious is extremely weirded out by this, in no small part thanks to the fact that it was Hiddenite who whooped him during the UYA-equivalent, and now here he is geeking out over a frozen monster.

It seems unlikely all of the above combinations would happen over the course of this single plot. Hiddenite is a fairly regular fixture, and Atlantisite definitely forms, but other than that, I can only see justification for Kornerupite and Mystic Topaz.

Okay, so I can’t justify Kornerupite, but I think he’d play a large part in the setup for Nefarious’s redemption arc, especially in conjunction with Atlantisite.

Mystic Topaz... I could go either way on. Seems a little overkill for this plot’s antagonist, but idk. I guess two of the four components would be half(ish)-gems, and the other two are defects, so maybe that would affect things. I doubt it, but maybe.

Things with Croid go down... pretty much the same. Initially, they can’t get him to focus long enough to get the point across/ask him for help. That eventually changes when Qwark gets a hold of his business card and Hiddenite makes a strategic retreat. Ratchet is not at all happy about the part he’s been made to play, but it is slightly less humiliating than the canon version, just by virtue of the fact that he’s a gem in this AU, and can brush the worst of the commentary aside.

What would gem would Fuchsia Diamond/Lilac Pearl, Fuchsia Diamond/Angel Aura Quartz, Fuchsia Diamond/Nacre, Fuchsia Diamond/Sphene ((Titanite)), and Fuchsia Diamond/Azotic Topaz make? P.S. Azotic Topaz is a poly permafusion between Blue Topaz, Papaya Quartz, and Wulfenite.

It’s really hard to find diamonds for all of these so I’m going to have to go from Diamond to some sort of more common gem. I hope you don’t mind that.
