Somewhere over the rainbow 🌈

Hi guys!!!

Last month I was so inspired by all the beautiful rainbow looks everyone was doing so I decided to use my XX Revolution XXtravaganza eyeshadow palette (£28.00) and have a go. If you’ve been following my blog for a while you would of noticed I’ve been using more colour in my makeup looks which I’ve been really enjoying but this look is a whole new ball game.

Before we discuss the eye looks let’s chat palette. This palette is from the new XX REVOLUTION collection which is like Revolutions version of highend products (though still very affordable) and this £28.00 eyeshadow palette is the most expensive thing from the collection. So for a mid £28 you are getting a 66 shade palette that covers basically every colour in the rainbow (crazy right). This palette is a mixture of 60 matte and foil eyeshadow formulas and 6 oversized foil finish pans to really give that look all the glitz and glam it deserves. This palette is perfect for anyone who wants to get a real range of colours but doesn’t want to spend ridiculous amounts on palettes.

This palette is by far the most pigmented rainbow palette I’ve ever used (yes I’m including that Morphe collab palette I know you’re all thinking about). It is by far the easiest to work with and i don’t even need to wet my brush to get the pigment to show up it’s just already there working it’s thing. The rainbow eye look I did personally was the most painless eye looks I’ve ever done with colour. Normally yellow and green tones can be quiet hard to show up without wetting your brush and yet this palette did it straight away no extra effort needed, it just glided on perfectly. The colours just blended together beautifully and even the purple shades which everyone knows are known to be patchy regardless of your brand were also gorgeous and pigmented amazingly.
