I made some changes to Chapter 1 of my RainCode sickfic making Yakou even more fatherly and warm a caretaker towards Yuma and made Yuma a bit more pathetic... xD

There is a corpse in front of her and all Kurumi can really think is… huh. It’s weird to see red blood again. It wasn’t like she hadn’t seen any blood at all since leaving Kanai Ward, but it hadn’t really set in just how red humans bled. Thinking about that in front of a stranger's dead body was probably kind of disrespectful though—right?

read my kurumi and desuhiko friendship propaganda boy. ... but no seriously this is 7k words. which for a lot of people probably isnt crazy impressive but it is for me.

Okay, this is another self indulgent thing that will happen in my Rain Code Borrower Au sometime in the future. Yuma found his new favorite napping location, much to Yakou’s dismay. Don’t get him wrong, he thinks it’s pretty cute and is happy to provide a nice bed. But much like when an animal falls asleep on you, you must not move until they wake up and leave. Which means Yakou is stuck there, and his coffee craving will have to wait.

Been reading a story called "He Who Defies Death" by @draconicsparkle on AO3.

I love it very much so far and I couldn't help but draw something about it, especially the scene where Makoto is absolutely done with Shinigami already and questions how on Earth Yuma puts up with her shenanigans.

Yuma kinda basically ignored some of her remarks after a while, mostly focused on conversation and cases. That's how I think he has delt with her without becoming annoyed lol.

Yuma feels a bit like he can't do anything but cause trouble for the people around him. The guilt of the deaths he's caused weighs heavy on him. Kurumi wants to show him someplace special to her.
