enjoy the 4 good caps I got of Durge!Sam before a graphics driver update completely bricked BG3
(which upon giving me time to think, it may work better for Durge!Sam's story to be played by her daughter Izzy, as she'd be looking for her mother anyway) (Izzy would be a cleric of Selune bc I can't fathom her NOT gaining Selune's favor when Aylin has been trapped in much the same way Sam has. And I doubt Withers is claiming any clerics.)
(further deets if anyone has a fix- it crashes after the initial loading screens, on the one with the box art on it. this is if it loads at all. i have tried every other fix including rolling the driver back and nothing has worked. i do have mods but this happens when they are both enabled and disabled)
#i have the amd raedeon 6800 if anyone else had the same issue and managed to fix it PLEASE lmk#baldur's gate 3#the dark urge#agent toren#like i'm gonna play both bc i've never played sorcerer OR cleric.#and I still have the nathan explosion run too#(he's a BardBarian)

That is a pretty weak graphics card i think just replace that and you should be fine your cpu is good, id say unless you have less than 12 gigs of ram i wouldnt worry about ram, raedeon cards are not my strong suit as to what to upgrade to im sure your local mom and pop shot pc store or even a best buy in the area could help you there.
Okay, that makes sense to me. I currently have 8 gigs of Ram and it’s served me fine so far for everything I want to do. I almost never at any point run into the issue running out of memory, and usually only use, at most, 80% on my most busy of days.
As far as improved Graphics Cards go, I was looking at this: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIABVR5451985&cm_re=GTX_970-_-14-127-966-_-Product
$200, mostly positive reviews, is a fairly modern graphics card that would last me a while, and I think it’d be compatible with my system. What do you think?
