Okay so this kinda got away from me, and it isn’t what the first post was about, but have some asexual Soda y’all!

Gundham’s just having like a really long day and he runs into Soda between classes. His brain is immediately like ‘cuddle boyfriend NOW’ but he can’t cus he has a test or something in his next class. So instead he just settles for a quick kiss and telling Soda how excited he is to get to cuddle with him at the end of the day.

Except, because of who he is, he says “I cannot wait to lay with you tonight” and Soda does not think that means cuddle lol. Gundham says goodbye and heads to class and Soda is just like ‘holy shit I can’t believe he just propositioned me in public?? and also fuck yes I’m getting laid tonight I guess?’ lol

Soda spends the rest of the day going back and forth between being super excited/horny and being super nervous and not really sure if he’s ready. Like in theory he’s ready; they’ve been dating for a year or so, they’ve sexted and had some pretty hot and heavy make-out sessions, complete with a bit of grinding. So Soda’s pretty much just like ‘yeah it’s probably about time for us to fuck. Totally makes sense.’

Anyways, they both have stupidly late classes that day, so they don’t get back to their dorms until like 8 or 9pm. They run into each other in the common room and Gundham asks if it’s okay for him to just come to Soda’s room after he’s showered and Soda almost short circuits cus ‘shit this is happening. okay.’ but manages to nod.

Soda is getting really nervous now, like he is genuinely super into Gundham both in a feelings way and a sexy way but something about the idea of having sex just makes him feel... icky. He tries to distract himself by finding the optimal sexy position to be in when Gundham gets there, but he’s also coming up with excuses the whole time. Eventually he strips down to his boxers and lays back in a very ‘paint me like one of your French girls’ position and tells himself he’ll feel differently once Gundham is actually there.

When Gundham shows up he’s freshly showered and wearing a very cozy but not at all sexy set of flannel pajamas and is immediately just... really confused. Soda like tries to put on a sexy voice and is like “um... hey~” and Gundham is just very cautiously like “What is going on here” as he closes the door so no one in the hall way will see his half naked (and admittedly pretty sexy) boyfriend. Soda’s just like “Um, well you said you were excited to ‘lay together’ so um…” he shrugs “here I am?”

Gundham takes a moment as he realizes the misunderstanding and kind of chuckles to himself, before moving to stand by the bed and pulling Soda up a little for a gentle kiss.

“When I said I was excited to lay with you tonight, I meant simply that. To lay with you, next to you, as we slept. But I see now how that may have caused confusion.”

Soda’s just like “o-oh..” and he’s just beating himself up because he spent all day worrying about nothing, and now he’s created this whole awkward situation and he doesn’t know what to do.

Gundham’s like “Does this mean you have changed your mind, my beloved? I was under the impression you wished to abstain from carnal acts for the time being.” And Soda is just like “what?” cus on one hand, yeah that is kinda how he’s feeling but the other, how does Gundham know??

Gundham gives him a soft smile and looks around for Soda’s shirt, handing it to him before sitting down on the bed next to him, giving Soda some space but not sitting too far.

“I feared you wouldn’t remember.” He waits for Soda to put his shirt on and sit up a little more, then gently holds his hand. “Last week after the party-” Soda goes beet red “-when we returned to my chambers, you told me you did not feel ready for such things.” He lifts Soda’s hand and kisses his knuckles. “That you were not sure you would ever be ready.”

Soda is still blushing super hard cus 1. he’s super embarrassed that he got so drunk that he couldn’t remember what happened and 2. fuck did he really say that? And Gundham was just…

“And you’re just… like, okay with that?” Soda’s mind is blown. Relationships are about sex, right? Like not just sex obviously, but it’s supposed to be a big part, isn’t it? How could Gundham just be okay with, like, not having sex? Possibly ever?

Gundham frowns and furrows his brow, and Soda’s stomach drops. But then-

“Of course, my love. I would never want you to do something which makes you uncomfortable. I am in love with you, not your body. I would gladly wait a thousand years for you to be ready, for eternity if that’s what you wish. As long as you are willing to stand at my side on our journey through this mortal plane, I will be happy. I need nothing more.”

Gundham is looking at Soda with the most genuine and love struck expression he’s ever seen, and Soda can’t help himself. He pulls Gundham close and starts sobbing into his chest, because he feels so relieved and he just cannot figure out how he managed to find such an amazing and understanding guy.

But also, he’s Soda, and he really can’t help but doubt everything. So once he calms down a little he’s like “You know… you don’t have to say that if… I mean, I won’t be upset if you- well I’ll be upset but… like we can end things if you would rather be with someone who, like, puts out?”

Gundham just shakes his head and pulls him into a long, slow kiss. Doesn’t let him pull away until he feels Soda relaxing against him.

“Do not make me repeat myself, beloved.” He waits until Soda looks him in the eyes, holds his gaze until Soda finally smiles and nods.

“O-okay.”

Gundham presses his forehead against Soda’s. “I love you. Just like this. I need nothing more. I love you.”

Soda’s still crying a bit. “I love you too.”

They spend the night cuddling and listening to music until they both fall asleep holding each other. Soda doesn’t think he’s ever slept so soundly before.

Gundham sleep deprived, just waking up voice is a lot deeper then his normal speaking voice. And everytime Souda hears it he goes weak like “oh hello, holy shit ❤️ didn’t know you could speak like that”

Oof Gundham’s morning voice is like twice as deep as it normally is and Soda just cannot handle it lol

Of the two of them, Gundham is definitely much more of a morning person, but sometimes Soda will wake up early just so he can hear more of Gundham’s extra hot morning voice. Like he’s definitely recorded it before, but it’s so much better to be able to feel the vibrations in Gundham’s chest as he speaks 💕

Gundham eventually catches on and starts waking Soda up in the mornings by just mumbling ‘good morning’ or Soda’s name against his ear, and every time he does it Soda just wakes up like ‘am I in heaven?’ haha. The only down side to this strategy is that Soda sometimes falls back asleep listening to Gundham talk, cus he just loves his voice so much in general, but morning voice is extra relaxing❤️

Ok, so there's this really shitty and kind of dangerous intersection I used to have to drive through all the time. I'd never really had a problem with it though, so I didn't really stress about it.

Anyways, one night I have a dream where I'm going coming up on the intersection and there's this shitty truck pulling a trailer that tries to turn way too fast as I'm going through the intersection and ends up bashing me with it's trailer. I wake up after that, kinda shrug it off and go about my day.

Later I had to go to town, and as I'm pulling up to this intersection what do I see? A shitty truck pulling a trailer. I'm like 'huh, that's weird, but whatever' but I decide to kind of pull farther over than I have to as I go through the intersection and surprise surprise, truck rips through it's turn way too fast and the trailer swings out to where I would have been if I didn't move over.

Shit was wild.
