Hi, i was wondering for a while now, what was that deal between carlos and lucious? What did carlos want that getting a deal with demon sounded like a good idea?

Carlos is a surgeon, except he puts waay too much pressure on himself for his own good. The moment he fails he sees himself as the ultimate failure (he has massive impostor syndrome). And he does fail one time, which costs him a life, which results in him spiraling into depression and self-doubt. Shortly afterward he finds a post on a forum about a wish-granting ritual, he's mentally in the worst place possible so he tries it. He wishes to not fail again, except the ritual summons a demon (luci) who is willing to grant the wish in exchange for his soul. Carlos agrees because what other option did he have? (he had a lot but he's not the sharpest tool in the shed)

So now he's stuck with Luci who periodically comes around to annoy him (he's very irritating) and slowly Carlos just stops being afraid of him.

You finished tending to his wound and left the bandage at the cold metal table right next to where Neteyam was sitting down while you took care of the wounded areas in his body.

Neteyam looked at you, confused and surprised. He didn't expect to hear those words... at all. He always thought you only saw him as a friend.

"I know nothing will ever happen between us, Teyam, and I don't expect you to answer. Honestly, you can just walk out of here or ask someone else to care for your wounds. I understand if you don't ever wanna see me again. I don't want you to think of me as clingy or that I'm trying to force something because I..." Neteyam watched you non-stop while you were word vomiting "I'm not. I swear. I'm sorry... I made everything awkward. Now we can't be friends anymore. Well, you're all set. Your wounds are taken care of. Hope you heal fast. Gotta go. Bye."

You started to walk fast so you could run away from that uncomfortable situation you thought you had brought upon the both of you but Neteyam quickly got up from the medical chair made specially for the na'vi, bigger than a regular human one, and he ran to you, his long, toned legs helping him, as he only needed like four steps to get where you were, way fewer than a human guy would need.

"(Y/n), wait!" Neteyam exclaimed. You couldn't believe he was talking to you and not to tell you to never speak to him again and that he would never like a human - a demon - girl.

"Can we... talk about what you just said? It's an important piece of information." Neteyam chuckled and then gave you a big, warm smile.

That was so like him. Caring so much about others, trying to make everyone feel comfortable and at ease. That's one of the key things that made you fall in love with him. How beautiful he was on the inside too. If you forget his transcendental na'vi beauty, he would still be so, so beautiful because of how altruistic, kind and brave he was. You felt your heart ache inside your chest. You knew how much you loved Neteyam and how you'd probably love him forever. But you also knew he could never fall in love with a human girl. He wasn't fond of humans. He took after his mother, Neytiri. And you didn't blame him. You weren't that fond of your own race either.

“Can you tell me why you think I wouldn’t like you back?” Neteyam chuckled softly and smiled, his sharp fangs almost making you faint of captivation

Why did he have to be so freaking magnetic? Neteyam made it insanely hard for you not to have all those feelings for him.

“Well, for one, I am human…?” You pointed out, your eyebrows furrowing in confusion

"(y/n), you're not just any human. You understand and respect my Planet and the na'vi ways, you work helping heal our kids and warriors and I think I sense some love for Eywa in you. Being human is not a reason for me not to like you." He smiled, reassuring you "I've actually had a crush on you for... some months now." He confessed as his tail moved from side to side, making his joy apparent

Wait, hold on... what? Did Neteyam just say he had a crush on you? You definitely were not expecting that.

“What did you just say?” Your eyebrows were still furrowed as you chuckled, unbelieving

“I said I like you too, sevin tawtute.” Neteyam smiled and got closer to you, pulling you in, bringing you dangerously close to his strong but soft body

Suddenly, Neteyam put his big hands under your arms and lift you in the air and you feared falling so, before you knew it, you were wrapping your legs around his waist.

His smile grew wider and he said “I’m gonna start courting you now. Do you even realize how pretty you look in your nurse uniform?” His flirting made your heart skip a beat and your legs felt weak. Good thing he was holding you in his arms.

Oh my God… Neteyam was actually holding you in his arms and he said he liked you back and that he was gonna start courting you… That didn’t sound real. You started to wonder if you were dreaming about him again. It used to happen fairly often. You were soon awakened from your thoughts by a sultry masculine voice.

“Syulang?” Neteyam called, realizing you seemed to be somewhere else, and you smiled at him when you understood that it was not a dream but actually reality. Neteyam smiled back. “You get so distracted sometimes." He chuckled "So cute.” Neteyam kissed you softly and quickly, leaving no time for you to even see it was coming before his lips were pressing tenderly against yours. His kiss felt sweet and caring, like you were precious to him. His lips tasted like Paradise and that's exactly where you felt you currently were.

10 Fave Robot & AI Songs🔧

I had sooo much fun pulling together this list! My robot kintype is super personal to me so these are all from the very heart of my spotify. I think they fall into a very similar characterisation unfortunately, but I tried to add in some variety in genre. Hope you like it! All song names link to Spotify.

10. The Code by Nemo. Despite being top of the list, this is actually the last song I added! It's an uplifting pop song about standing out amongst the crowd and embracing your identity in the fullest. I think that really encompasses a lot of kin culture and the fact it's called "the code" just felt fitting!

9. Tear You Apart by Megan McDuffee. A synth cover of the popular single by She Wants Revenge. It's in the fake 80s style, reminiscent of Stranger Things. This one is on a lot of my playlists and associated with a couple blorbos!

8. What I Want by Gregor McMurray. I remember this one was quite divisive on TikTok a few months back but I always loved it. If you're building the robot power trip playlist this is one for it.

7. Satisfaction by Benny Benassi & The Biz. Robots can have NSFW playlists too...

6. Hello World by Louie Zong. A lot of the later songs in this list are quite macabre so I thought I'd shake it up with something a little calmer. I found this searching a couple robot playlists on spotify a few days back and I was enamoured with its wholesome whimsy.

5. Professional Killer by KMFDM. KMFDM is actually how I got into industrial rock & dance! The first song I found was Kunst. Professional Killer sounds exactly like the theme-song of a robot bounty hunter locking onto its prey in a dystopian city. Or at least that's what I imagine - hear it for yourself!

4. Time is Up by Poppy & Diplo. A softer pop song about a robot takeover in the face of climate change. How fun! I love how the song's AI begins to hate humans more with each new thing it experiences since its creation.

3. Crazy Fuckin' Robot Body by Snowblood. A high energy electronic song about a robot rebelling against their creator. Honestly this one helps a little with species dysphoria!

2. A Human's Touch by TWRP & McKenna Rae. A funky tech-ballad about a furby robot pining after a human lover. This is going to be on my Spotify wrapped for this year and it's going to be in the top 5 songs.

1. We Appreciate Power by Grimes & HANA. It's the AI takeover theme-song and it truly sounds like a song made by a megalomaniac robot. It's one of my favourite songs of all time & one of my personal robotkin anthems!

I'm feeling, at first blush, like the answer is definitely Mickey (especially because I've written it). But I do think this one is interchangeable! I think these two are just so into each other that they can't wait to start the day with a kiss to the other.

19. Who loves to call the other one cute names?

They both definitely have their names for one another. To Cielo, Mickey is "M," "Lieutenant Heart-Eyes," and she's pretty liberal with the endearments. And, obviously, Mickey calls her "cielo," which is my ultimate favorite endearment in Spanish, and I think is so fitting of someone who makes his life out of the skies to call his beloved...

20. Who is dominant/ Who is submissive?

I definitely think Cielo is the more submissive one, but that she has moments where she can be shockingly dominant. They may be few and far between, but Mickey loves it when she's bold. I think Mickey, by nature of being in a profession where he has to be bold, brave, and is adrenaline-fueled, would be sort of unafraid to be dominant/bold. But, yeah, that he really enjoys it when Cielo takes control. (Aaaaand now I want to write that. You've inspired something...) Dang it Sierra!!!!! (I love you, please never stop.)

24. Who is the talker/ Who is the listener?

Again, I think this one is interchangeable. I think Cielo is definitely a talker. Mickey loves hearing her talk about what she's passionate about. She's quippy and chatty and always friendly. But I also think that MIckey is someone who can be a bit of a motormouth about the things he's into, esp. his little nerdy interests. And Cielo, being a giver by nature, is a naturally-good listener.

31. Who is more affectionate?

Each of them have their own love languages. I do think Mickey's love language is touch. He loves to be touched, to be held and hugged. Cielo is definitely more than willing to give that affection. I think Cielo likes words of affirmation and regular assurance. And Mickey, while I write him as very physically affectionate (the kind of boyfriend who puts his hands in his gf's hoodie pocket, or to keep his arms wrapped around her while waiting in line, or rest his head on her shoulder), I think he would be very attuned to the type of affection Cielo needs. He's sensitive like that.
