okay so i am debating between two programs:

Radiotherapy and Radiological Technologist

Initially i was going into rad tech, but a few things came up and I have been weighing the pros and cons, but I can't decide

Some cons from rad tech:

-OR Time (not sure how my body will react)

-Need to run around a lot (at least during clinicals) and I am disabled/have trouble walking

-Moving transportable machines for same reason above

-paid slightly less than radiotherapist

-Sees traumas (which I'm fine with on screen but I'm not sure how I'd react in person)

BUT

-it's what i was initially drawn to

-Slightly easier schooling

-More information about the job online

-Can work in a clinic setting to avoid OR and running around.

Cons for Radiotherapist

-Can be depressing job (Seeing patients die slowly of cancer

-Less information about the job online

-I want to work in pediatrics hopefully so it would just make the slow death thing worse

-scared it will be repetitive

HOWEVER - slightly better pay

-less running around (less on body)

-Getting to know patients better (see them repeatedly)

-Less OR time

-less exposure to radiation
