CV FIREBIRDS BEAT THE CALGARY WRANGLERS IN OVERTIME, WINNING THE PACIFIC DIVISION!!!
#5:6 we were tied for practically the entire game!!! but we got the first point and we got the last point!!!#listened to the radio broadcast of the official commentary for the first half of the game#played video game with my roommate during the second half where i ask her to play the radio in the background lol#obviously wasn't catching any commentary but i DEFINITELY heard it when that puck hit the net!!!#one of our guys' last name is McKenna so obviously he's My Guy lol and he scored two goals this game!!!#he didn't start this season as a favorite but he's making a name for himself and I'm so proud lol#we wont know who the next team we're facing off against is until someone wins a game on Sunday#its milwaukee vs the Texas Stars and for their sake I hope Milwaukee wins but. i think w'd have a better shot beating texas lol#cv firebirds#coachella valley firebirds

LINA TRAN, BYLINE: A bar is a good place for a ghost. They're dark, they come alive at night and they're full of stories. This corner bar in West Allis, right outside Milwaukee, is no exception. People have been flocking here for more than a century. It's been owned by different people, called different names - Kralj's Hall, Kokopelli's, Shipwrecked. Today, it's Layman Brewing. Kyle Ida runs the place with his wife, Sarah. He walks to a dark corner in the back of the pub and points to a box in the shadows.

#ty posts#i dont think yall understand how deep my love for honky tonk runs. i could make a separate post abt it#honky tonk music does follow the same chord progressions but i eat it up every time IDC!!!!#but seriously. i grew up listening to honktonk after finding it on my own on the radio.#and listened to so much of it in my formative childhood ways that i developed a generic southern accent.#formative childhood yrs*#i open my mouth.#and a mix of TN & TX & milwaukee comes out#im minnesota born n raised. my dad is from south side milwaukee my mother is from wisconsin but not mke#i bring it up a fair amount but GOD my mysterious generic southern accent is so funny to me. and it gets WORSE when i drink#and i listen to sm honkytonk now + i live alone so i have near constant exposure to the same accents that formed mine HAHAHAH#good lord that’s a lot of tags SORRYYYYYY#what ty’s listening to
