There’s something about the way you smile, talk. The way you think, the way you see people, the way look at yourself in the mirror, the way you care on the little things or even the way you breathe.That’s how you know that you are at peace, you're contented and happy. Twenty years of my life I’ve been trying to figure out what’s happiness is all about. How can I gain it? How can I share it unto others and how can it forever stay.

I’ve been asking everyone; Are you happy? Why? How come?

Unnamed1: I been fine. im feeling just right.

Unnamed2: Im okay but I could use some friends.

Unnamed3: No, i am depressed and playing video games all day.

Aewithlove: Yes, simply because I just am.

Mhar: Yes, because there are some people who makes me happy.

Me: Yes, and i’ve got no idea.

The thing about happiness is that it’ll change your life’s perspective in the way that you’ll not notice. You’ll start living with it. You’ll start inhaling all the positive things the world offers, exhaling and leaving what hurts you. You are grateful on every mornings you spent breathing and living your life. On how the cool air blows your hair and even how the sun’s warmth shines down on your face. That you're loving someone and doesn't even care if they didn't loved you back. Because you know that love, for the sake of all- is what you can give, not for what you expect in return. Happiness for me is how you appreciate and see the little things differently.

The truth is- I cant really define happiness. Because suddenly, I mean- in a moment of a deep thought, you’ll just feel it. The emotions and the aliveness that’s now flowing in your veins is the most surreal thing you’ve ever felt.

A brighter day

Today was the first day that I felt like myself again. After a few of the hardest days of my life, I know can say that I can see the light again, that brightness that's within us all but that is often dimmed by our circumstances. 

I love it when we can feel warmth around us even in the coldest weather. See sunbeams even in the darkest day. And find love even in the most random situations. 

In my experience, human interactions can lift up our spirits even with the smallest act of kindess. A hug, a comforting look or simply by a pat on the shoulder. Is that connection we all human beings have that makes us so great. Why aren't we sharing that wonderful quality everywhere we go? 

Let's do it! As that photo on Instagram says: “Spread love as thick as you would nutella”.. And why not? Why not even thicker?

If a handfull of strangers can help me get back up again when I’m feeling down by doing nothing but being nice, can you imagine what we could do united as a force of love for everyone around us?! I hope I can see it in my lifetime.

In the meantime, it all starts at home and with each one of us. So let’s start. Smile to strangers and radiate the light within you for the world to see.

I haven't cried like I just did in a while.

All of this darkness is getting to me; this past month has been terribly awful in the world-just from what i know too. War tension between multiple countries, war in multiple countries, disease outbreak, overwhelming militaristic police actions, unnecessary abuse, shocking ignorance/stunning racism, poisoning of nearly everything, so much misunderstanding, too little love, too many innocent beings dying, too many innocent beings being hurt.

I keep trying to shut out my logical self, because I just want to break down.

Ok em I just want to put this here to say that it doesn't matter what happens or who fucks you over just remember you are not alone and never will be - there is always someone out there to listen, a way to vent or a place go. It is hard but you can; take an hour or a day or a week or a month or a year or more, to collect yourself together and dive into the darkness again, because that's all life is - a nigh on impossible shout into the blackness - and yeah it's scary but don't worry you aren't failing or falling or losing or crashing and burning. There is no rule book for existence and I feel that should be spread like wild fire. So I know I'm just a tiny blog that barely gets a look in, if you see this please just spread the message of radiating light and living on your terms and seeing this whacked-out wonderful world through new eyes everyday, I really needed to hear this about six months ago so it would mean the absolute world for you to share this so more people can hear it when they need it, thank you x

Stop thinking and start working. Be consistent and show your work to the world. Don’t be afraid to show your “ugly” sketches. How many times you’ve spent hours and hours trying to refine an idea and a client ended up by choosing your “ugly draft”, that little piece you made in 5 minutes? Ideas are infinitely more valuable than perfection. The greatest artists and designers show their work without worrying about what others would say or think. 💖
