i went back to VE finally and started on I2S2, which has been really really good. i think this is the point where i go from kinda liking it to actually really enjoying the story. tbh the most interesting stuff has been looking into what repiton was like before the game and how things are changing now that an entire planet has been dragged into another dimension, so racren has a really great perspective as someone who works on the moon, which is full of low-wage workers and landfills.

also, the beginning of the intermission was a big lore dump enhanced by being about my two favorite living characters

yknow, assuming secily is dead. and not doing some void shit based on the alternate route of sbb volume 11. which is definitely what's happening

anyway now i have to watch a 45 minute long youtube video because an interactive flash got destroyed in the great unflashening of the internet. VE takes a while to really get going imo but i do like it

I think if you don't read VE yet this is an incredibly good bit to try and dip your toes in. Set immediately after a gang of trolls starts a world-altering game, It gives you a really broad glimpse of how populated the planet of Repiton is, and introduces (or re-introduces, if you’re familiar) a lot of the secondary cast faces that’ll be showing up often :) also it’s really funny. trust me!
