Who is your favorite robot (from any media)?

My day job has actually kept me quite busy (in these stay-at-home times) and has been pretty exhausting, so I haven’t worked much on art. But I’ve been working on this (left) in my spare time as something fun and as practice. Rabbit is such a fun robot to draw, with all those pretty colors and fun textures.

It started as a style experiment over a year ago that didn’t go anywhere (right), but because I’ve been so tired, I decided to keep working on it. Instead, I completely revamped it. The original is based on a photo Bunny took/posted of herself, but with the new one I did the design based off my rough painting and some photos of her out of makeup in place of following one picture. It gave me more freedom to take whatever route I felt calling.

So.. I sat down.. And drew this lovely creature.. This is actually going to be a present for someone, I'll be seeing soon, so I just hope that I'll get the chance to deliver it.. This is, as you can see, Rabbit The Robot from Steam Powered Giraffe, portrayed by the lovely Isabella Bunny Bennett.. I wanted it to look like her, but I also wanted it to be in my own drawing style..
