ঈদুল আজহা অর্থ কোরবানির ঈদ। একে বড় ঈদ এবং বকরি ঈদও বলা হয়। হিজরি বর্ষের ১২তম মাসের ১০ তারিখে এই ঈদ অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। খুব ভোরে ঘুম থেকে ওঠা, ফজরের নামাজ মসজিদে জামাতের সঙ্গে আদায় করা, সকালে গোসল করা, মিসওয়াক করা, সম্ভব হলে নতুন জামা বা পরিষ্কার–পরিচ্ছন্ন জামাকাপড় পরিধান করা, আতর-সুগন্ধি ব্যবহার করা, ঈদগাহে এক রাস্তায় যাওয়া অন্য রাস্তায় ফিরে আসা, তাকবির বলা, খোলা মাঠে ঈদের নামাজ আদায় এবং সম্ভব হলে কোরবানির মাংস দিয়ে দিনের প্রথম আহার করা ইত্যাদি এই ঈদের দিনের বিশেষ আমল। আল্লাহ তাআলা বলেন, ‘আপনি আপনার রবের উদ্দেশে নামাজ পড়ুন এবং কোরবানি করুন’ (১০৮: ২)। রাসুলুল্লাহ (সা.) বলেন, ‘যে ব্যক্তি সামর্থ্য থাকা সত্ত্বেও কোরবানি করল না, সে যেন আমাদের ঈদগাহের ধারেকাছেও না আসে।’ (ইবনে মাজাহ)। 

জিলহজ মাসের ১০ তারিখ সকাল থেকে ১২ তারিখ সূর্যাস্তের পূর্ব পর্যন্ত সময়ের মধ্যে কোনো মুসলিম য���ি সাহেবে নিসাব অর্থাৎ সাড়ে ৭ ভরি স্বর্ণ বা সাড়ে ৫২ ভরি রুপা অথবা এর যেকোনো একটির মূল্যের সমপরিমাণ নগদ অর্থ বা ব্যবসার পণ্যের মালিক থাকেন বা হন, তাঁর কোরবানি করা ওয়াজিব। আল্লাহ তাআলা বলেন, ‘সকল সম্প্রদায়ের জন্য আমি কোরবানির বিধান দিয়েছি, তিনি তাদেরকে জীবনো��করণস্বরূপ যেসব চতুষ্পদ জন্তু দিয়েছেন, সেগুলোর ওপর যেন তারা আল্লাহর নাম উচ্চারণ করে’ (২২: ৩৪)। 

ইতিহাসের প্রথম কোরবানিদাতা হলেন হজরত আদম (আ.)–এর পুত্র হাবিল (রা.) ও কাবিল। বাবা আদম (আ.) বললেন, ‘তোমরা আল্লাহর নামে কোরবানি করো, যার কোরবানি কবুল হবে, তার দাবি হবে গ্রহণযোগ্য। তাঁরা উভয় কোরবানি দিলেন, হাবিলের কোরবানি কবুল হলো।’ আল্লাহ তাআলা বলেন, ‘আপনি তাদেরকে আদমের পুত্রদ্বয়ের বৃত্তান্ত শোনান। যখন তারা উভয়ে কোরবানি করেছিল তখন একজনের কোরবানি কবুল হলো, অন্য জনেরটা কবুল হলো না। অবশ্যই আল্লাহ মুত্তাকিনদের কোরবানিই কবুল করেন’ (৫: ২৭)। পরবর্তী ইতিহাস পবিত্র কোরআনে এভাবে এসেছে, ‘হে আমার প্রতিপালক! আমাকে নেক সন্তান দান করুন। অতঃপর আমি তাকে সহিষ্ণু পুত্রের সুসংবাদ দিলাম, অতঃপর সে যখন তার পিতার সঙ্গে কাজ করার বয়সে উপনীত হলো, তখন ইবরাহিম (আ.) বললেন, ‘হে বত্স! আমি স্বপ্নে দেখেছি যে, তোমাকে আমি জবাই করছি, তোমার অভিমত কী?’ সে বলল, ‘হে আমার পিতা! আপনি যা আদিষ্ট হয়েছেন তা–ই করুন। আল্লাহর ইচ্ছায় আপনি আমাকে ধৈর্যশীলদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত পাবেন।’ যখন তারা আনুগত্য প্রকাশ করল এবং ইবরাহিম (আ.) তাঁর পুত্রকে কাত করে শোয়াল, তখন আমি ডেকে বললাম, ‘হে ইবরাহিম! আপনি তো স্বপ্নাদেশ সত্যই পালন করলেন!’ এভাবেই আমি সৎকর্মশীলদের পুরস্কৃত করে থাকি। নিশ্চয় এ ছিল এক সুস্পষ্ট পরীক্ষা। আমি তাকে মুক্ত করলাম মহান কোরবানির বিনিময়ে। এটা পরবর্তীদের স্মরণে রেখে দিলাম। ইবরাহিম (আ.) এর জন্য অভিবাদন! আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে শান্তি ও শুভেচ্ছা!’ (৩৭: ১০০-১১০)। কোরবানি হলো একটি ছাগল, ভেড়া, দুম্বা অথবা গরু, মহিষ ও উটের সাত ভাগের এক ভাগ। অর্থাৎ একটি গরু, মহিষ বা উট সাতজন শরিক হয়ে বা সাত নামে কোরবানি করা যায়। বন্য পশু হালাল হলেও কোরবানি করা যাবে না; যদিও তা কেউ লালনপালন করে থাকুক না কেন। কোরবানির জন্য ছাগল, ভেড়া ও দুম্বার বয়স এক বছর হতে হয়; গরু ও মহিষের বয়স দুই বছর এবং উটের বয়স পাঁচ বছর হতে হবে। দুম্বা এক বছর পূর্ণ না হলেও যদি এক বছরের মতো হৃষ্টপুষ্ট হয়, তাহলে চলবে। কোরবানির পশু তরতাজা ও হৃষ্টপুষ্ট হওয়া উত্তম; খুঁত থাকলে সেই পশু দ্বারা কোরবানি আদায় হবে না। যেকোনো মুসলিম নারী-পুরুষ কোরবানির পশু জবাই করতে পারেন। কোরবানির পশু নিজে জবাই করা উত্তম। না পারলে কাউকে দিয়ে জবাই করাতে পারেন। জবাইয়ের সময় উপস্থিত থাকতে পারলে ভালো। মহিলারাও জবাই করতে পারেন। জবাইয়ের দোয়া পড়া সুন্নত, না জানলে বা না পড়লেও কোরবানি হয়ে যাবে। জবাইয়ের সময় কোরবানিদাতাদের নাম বলার প্রয়োজন নেই।নিজ গৃহে পালিত পশু দ্বারা কোরবানি করতে পারলে উত্তম। কোরবানির পশু নিজ অর্থে কেনা যায়, যেকোনো কেউ কোরবানির পশু বা এর মূল্য হাদিয়া দিলেও হবে; এতেও ওয়াজিব কোরবানি আদায় হবে।

Video calls aren’t just for chatting either if the time is available you can spend time together doing the things you normally enjoy including watching a movie together and having a meal together. Its infinitive is Tazkiyah which means purification. The Islamic method of slaughtering an animal requires the following conditions to be met: 🔰(1) Animal should be slaughtered with sharp object (knife). Zabiha is an Arabic word which means ‘slaughtered’. The spinal cord must not be cut because the nerve fibres to the heart could be damaged during the process causing cardiac arrest, stagnating the blood in the blood vessels. As the Blood is a good medium for germs and bacteria. Blood is a good media of germs, bacteria, toxins, etc. Therefore the Muslim way of slaughtering is more hygienic as most of the blood containing germs, bacteria, toxins, etc. that are the cause of several diseases are eliminated. Meat remains fresh for a longer time. Meat slaughtered by Islamic way remains fresh for a longer time due to deficiency of blood in the meat as compared to other methods of slaughtering. Animal does not feel pain. The swift cutting of vessels of the neck disconnects the flow of blood to the nerve of the brain responsible for pain. Thus the animal does not feel pain. While dying, the animal struggles, writhers, shakes and kicks, not due to pain, but due to the contraction and relaxation of the muscles defecient in blood and due to the flow of blood out of the body.
