Stopping Traffic

While walking to class, a driver did a double-take towards me, almost missing his turn. When he swerved his tires squealed. I’ve thought a lot about it since.

I wonder what part of my outfit specifically caught his attention. The vintage sweater? The fish tie? …My dashing good looks?

In hindsight, it was most likely my traffic cone tights.

It’s nice to dream anyway 🐟

01/23/25 - The Love for Dogs Outfit

Diary Entry #2:

Lovers or Classmates?

For such a romantic, seemingly love hasn’t come so easy these past 2 years. It’s been just that since my last epic breakup. “Talking stages” here or there since, but nothing of substance.

I have a love aversion, more technically put.

Not by my own accord. I watch rom coms and dream of romance. Cupid has simply skipped me.

But not anymore.

My heart tells me love can’t be forced, but my roommates say that tinder can be downloaded. I’ve put my faith in the latter. If I can’t will love by wishing, I may as well swipe and spin the wheel of chance.

My gut tells me that only the hand of G-d can lead me towards a desired future, but my mind tells me that there is only so much moving that can be done if I stand still in my conquest. Perhaps some autonomy and movement is all I need.

You couldn’t see my jewelry past my hair, so here is a clearer picture. I’m also wearing matching earrings.

More intimately, for those who have made it this far, I’m worried it isn’t quite my time just yet. I’m worried I’m supposed to stay alone but just a bit longer. Would that be so bad?

Yes. Probably.
