Explosive touch: this quirk gives its user the ability to make anything they touch with all five fingers explosive. When this quirk is used a visible orange line begins to spread across the object, wherever the line passed is now highly explosive and if fire is near or is it tapped twice or bumped it will explode. The quirk does not work on liquids however it does work on all solids including animals and humans. The user however is immune to their own quirk. When the quirk is used the affect will transfer to everything touching the originally touched object in a mile radius, meaning that if the user were to touch the floor with all five finger the quirk should spread to everything in a mile radius and essentially create a huge bomb destroying the entire area and everyone in it, luckily the line spreads semi slowly so you have time to run. The downsides of this quirk are, the user cannot willingly turn off the quirk only quirk cuffs or erasure can turn of the quirk, however that does not cancel any current affects it only prevents future ones until the quirk is no longer erased, once an item is touch with all five fingers there is no way to stop the quirk, when the quirk is overused the users hands ache and the user feels exhausted, plus there’s a high likelihood that the explosions from the quirk could have injured the user.

__Katsumi is a quirk kid, a quirk kid was fraud upon back then, Izuku and Katsuki were told that the quirk kid would dissapear after a week as long as they didn't get attached to her. Bringing the sleeping kid back to the dorms was a bad idea, their classmates immediately got attached to her. Katsuki and Izuku were parents while on their last year at U. A high. While the heroes did school, Katsumi stayed with her Grandma Inko (Izuku and Katsuki visit) __

__At the age of 4, Katsumi's tiny hands started aching, when Katsuki and Izuku checked on her, the smell of nitroglycerin appeared as green lightning and tiny explosions appeared on her hands. Katsuki gave her the nickname Firecracker. Which later became her hero name__

__At the age of 14, Katsumi started working for her grandparents (Bakugou's parents), she models heroes merch, she also gets to keep some of the merch (her shoes and hair clip)__

How does Bakugo ignite his explosions?

He sweats nitroglycerin, which is what his explosions are made of, but how are they lit? Does he have a minor fire/spark quirk in addition to the nitroglycerin, or is it a mental telekinesis aspect? Is it just magic? Does he have to snap or something to generate enough heat for the combustion to kick off? Are his hands fire resistant because his quirk is explosions, or does the nitroglycerin form a natural barrier? Can he get nitroglycerin poisoning, or is immunity a side effect of his quirk? Do his cells look different because of the added chemical? Has his body always sweated boom chemicals, or did it come in at four and did he get nitroglycerin poisoning then?

You know how most heroes have a certain theme when naming their supermoves e.g. uraraka=space, bakugo=bombs, shiozaki=bible. If Deku in order to become his own person changed the names of his american state/city named supermoves, what theme do u think he would have? (with the exception of full cowling and shoot style)

The issue with trying to come up with something like that for Izuku is that there aren't a lot of options. Izuku is so tied to being All Might's successor and is rather generic in terms of his look that he doesn't really have any brand to base his attacks around. The big thing with Izuku is that he studies, adapts, and integrates people he looks up to. So I think a fun way to explore that would be to have various moves and their names be inspired by other people, like having all his uses of "Black Whip" be inspired by similar moves and naming schemes to Tsuyu and Best Jeanist. He'd have a name for the type of moves he makes. For example, the main application of "One For All" could be named after some of his closest inspirations. and then a secondary attack. For example, the main application of "One For All" could be named after some of his closest inspirations. Like all his leg moves being called High Drive Kick or High Drive for Iida and his arm-based attacks being called Blast Zone Rush or Blast Zone Fist for Bakugou.

Yeah, Izuku is not the sole person to ever call him Kacchan....

But Denki has only done it like what, once or twice?

Everyone else only called him that when they were kids and grew out of it.

Izuku is still undisputed champ of calling Katsuki Kacchan. Kacchan really wouldn't be as much of a thing, if he hadn't kept calling him Kacchan throughout their entire lives. That significance is not nothing.

So like...people aren't exactly wrong to associate Katsuki calling himself Kacchan with IZUKU and his refusal to let that name go.

So I don't fully know what this all means yet, but you cannot deny that the name Kacchan is so heavily associated with Izuku. And that the choice Katsuki made to call himself that over his chosen Hero name is unexpected, and interesting at least.

Years ago when I first got into My Hero Academia, I assume that “R-Rated Hero” was a category similar to underground, rescue, ett and created an entire OC’s who’s mom was a “R-Rated Hero” but now I realize that isn’t the case & “R-Rated Hero” is just a part of Midnight’s hero name.

This is actually such a bullshit ranking because bakugous quirk is literally good for nothing except fighting. One for all is a mixed bag (danger sense is S tier and in itself would be one of my top quirks, float is fun, etc etc bc I can’t remember the other ones , but I would prefer not to have bone hurting juice thanks). Shouto has the best quirk by far of these. like ignoring the .. uh. Eugenics experiment that endeavor conducted for it, his quirk has so many different applications outside of combat meanwhile what else can bakugou do except fight? Dont piss me off. Literally who cares if you can explode things with your sweat. Guess you all love being sweaty and gross all the time or whatever. in everyday life how is that quirk ever going to benefit me.

I mean I’m not surprised he got first because this is literally just a popularity contest instead of actually thinking about the criteria and what the poll is asking you, and y’all love to suck bakugous dick for some reason but be so fucking for real.

The actual top three quirks should be creation, zero gravity, and half cold half hot. In no particular order bc I keep bouncing between them. Literally in what world is explosion better than any of those are you all fucking insane

Ok so here's a question I now have to ask myself. Himiko's quirk means she needs blood to stay healthy yeah? So if she enters the metaverse would she have a clear mind? She has no quirk there so would so she shouldn't feel the after effects of her quirk. But the after effects impact her health and that isn't going away under erasure.

so two answers to this but the short one would be that it still effects her.

1.) I think her body would still react the same as if there was any other deficiency. Like if you're low on iron or whatever. The Metaverse might negate some of the outright bloodlust, but she's not going to be magically healed

and

2.) you said that mutation Quirks stick around in the Metaverse. And to /me/ there is a thin line between a lot of Quirks on what qualifies as at least partly mutation. I'd say Himiko's counts as a partial mutation because her body has mutated to need blood consumption. So while she can't transform, she still needs to consume blood(along with assumedly protecting her from like prion disease or something)

Rabbit Trick AU: “Less than useful”?

His quirk is “If I touch you, you lose.” Who in the world would call that useless?

Well, it can only do one thing: turn you into a rabbit. It doesn't offer anything else, like mobility, range, or any form of support. In the eyes of many people, it's pretty useless.

Midoriya is just very creative when he wants to be.
