In August 2016, CPD Supt. Eddie Johnson filed charges against Sgt. #StephenFranko and officers #JanetMondragon, #DaphneSebastian and #RicardoViramontes. The four were accused of either giving or approving knowingly false statements in an effort to have the shooting of Laquan McDonald deemed justified. Meanwhile, the Chicago chapter of #BlackLivesMatter is planning a protest outside #CPD headquarters just before the start of the 7:30 p.m. meeting. According to a statement from the group, the protest will take aim at the ruling by the Civilian Office of Police Accountability that declared the fatal November 2016 shooting of #JoshuaBeal to be justified. Beal was killed by two off-duty #Chicago police officers in #MountGreenwood. #BLM will also call for the firing of #RobertRialmo, the officer who fatally shot #BettieJones and #QuintonioLeGrier in December 2015. Losing a breath from within and not from someone taking it from you of what I know to lose my breath of anxiety, panic attacks, palpitations, with fear of not being able to breath is one I fear How does it feel to you when You lost a breath, to not be able to grasp air of an exhale? This recent egregious police killing George Floyd was very hard to watch via media, and to be honest watching all sensitive content is.  know I am one to pop off when I see something that isn’t right, I can’t speak on why the surrounding people just stand and watch I couldn’t, A brutal violent act! I know I cant just stand there or walk away, I can’t comprehend and speak on anyone else but if I am face front in the realm of it.

If this was a stranger, friend or my son, I’m sorry I would have to be killed too for stepping up and attempting to help someone! 

I know there are Good People, I know we have officials that are fighting to protect the people, but many are out there failing us, not protecting the Human Rights, The decision makers, The Leadership and President is is just a disgust of what the World in a constant torment of Pain, Evil, Hate, Racism, discrimination, poverty, And so much more. A Deadly pandemic, of a Virus spreading throughout our nation, in to wear a mask to protect your life to all the Racist killings by US POLICE OFFICERS AND MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC BUT latest along the line George Floyed TORTURED FOR 8 minutes.... suffocated, dehumanized, pleading for his life! Crying out for his life!!! I don’t like using words that describe a color! But today i must speak on many BROWN, BLACK, UNARMED MEN and WOMEN BEING I read this post and couldn’t just #Repost without #Speaking on it and it resonates to all of which is we mourn for. A prayer for ALL; those who mourn, those have been killed, the families and children who are all effected, those who have been injured, the protesters, the officials that are fighting . A prayer to release from the sin poison of Racism and our dependence on violence to solve our ills. Unfair Racial Acts and Thoughts have taken the root in the Hearts of people of humanity. Of all the feels, we must be the cure to release and unite. The poisonous threads are hurting us ALL! The ominous threats have taken power to beyond control! Until the justice system can demonstrate that it holds all people equally accountable for their actions, we won’t be able to get beyond the reality of racism-systemic racism-is involved. So I pray for release from racism of all the times like this. I pray for everybody: to the ones who have to face the crowds, the hurt, the anger, protestors who have all the rights to protest, for decison- makers who have the authority to bring reform. I pray for the grieving, the injured, the fearful. I pray we all will find the courage to face the truth and do something about it. I know there are many cases we don’t hear or see if it’s not caught by someone witnessing these unhunane violence as well as other lives that have been ruined due to harm, trauma, mental health, violence acts, discrimination SAY THIER NAMES! #CHICAGO — The police officer who shot and killed teenager #QuintonioLeGrier on the day after Christmas will sue LeGrier’s estate. Officer #RobertRialmo answered a domestic disturbance call in #WestGarfieldPark and wound up shooting LeGrier and a neighbor #BettieJones, he says, because LeGrier attacked him. Rialmo’s attorney Joel Brodsky confirmed for WGN-TV this morning that he’ll file a civil suit against LeGrier’s estate in a couple of weeks, citing emotional distress and assault. LeGrier’s family says there was no justification for shooting 18-year-old LeGrier multiple times.

Quintonio Legrier, a 19-year-old NIU student was killed this morning on the West Side of Chicago after the his father called the police to help him gain control of Quintonio. Witnesses said that a domestic disturbance stemmed from the 19-year-old threatening his father, the building’s landlord, with a metal baseball bat. Quintonio suffered from a mental illness that developed after smoking weed that was laced with something else. Instead of deescalating the situation, police shoot Quintonio SEVEN TIMES.
