I'm here after finishing "the distance between enemies" and I just wanted to let you know how awesome it was!!!

I love how you kept it canon compliant while still expanding on the relationship between scara and lumi and keeping it believable at the same time. That's one of the biggest things that can completely kill the immersion for me, and I super appreciate how tactfully you handled it!

Definitely a fan, and I'm looking forward to whatever you come up with in the future!

(: i really can't express how much fun i had while writing it, and i'm so, SO glad to hear that i've managed to keep it believable. my entire goal was to make the fic canon compliant, but also change a few things to nudge the story into the direction of a relationship developing between scrlm. to hear that i've managed to do so successfully while managing to keep it believable is an EXTREME honor!

i will likely continue to write whatever fics im working on atm, but hopefully in the future, i get to put out the scrlm fic that's been rolling around in my mind for a while! thank you so much for reading! <3

We were late.

As I’m sure many of you fucks’ve already heard, Deku decided to chase down and capture a petty criminal today while he was out grocery shopping. 

Told him that he ought to just stay home and that we’d do this dinner thing another time, but he didn’t wanna hear it. 

Wound up at her place with Deku looking a little like death warmed over.

I’m sure you all’ve figured that that went over well.

My Life is Complete #GetWellSoonDadku

Not really, but almost. Today I was lucky enough to get to meet @the-wonder-duo along with my good pals @sabasama and @nyanchen. It was surreal. I still feel like I’m dreaming (no one wake me up please). Today was a perfect way for an orphan like me to spend this holiday. Happy Father’s Day Dadku.

So, I’ll start with what happened. First, we had to carry a nearly impossible load of goodies, which Zero refused to help us with. But we managed, by the grace of my savior, Potatia. One of the first things I did was give Deku a hug. Don’t worry, it was very gentle so I didn’t hurt him. He was thinner than I imagined...

The Duo was even more in synch then I thought they’d be. I was surprised by how strongly the emotions of one impacted the other. It’s almost like they can tell when the other one is nervous and anxious, or calm and relaxed. You’d think they had my quirk or something. Guess that’s what happen when you know someone that well.

I’m so glad I was able to organize a little surprise for Deku on such short notice. I can’t begin to describe how adorable his shocked face was when he saw just how much we brought. (Not as adorable as my boyfriend though. Don’t worry Hino and Zero, I’m not flirting.) He was all smiles as he tried to tell us that we didn’t need to give him so much. Yes we did. Deku, you deserves the world, and more. He especially liked nibbling on the sweets we brought him. But Deku appeared to be rather flushed today, I hope the doctor’s keep him on medications so he doesn’t get a fever or something.

Even though Zero seemed a bit exasperated with our antics in the beginning, he didn’t seem to mind as much by the end. I swear I could even see some faint soft expression on his face as he watched Deku laugh at Mimi and I playing with Chen’s service dog (who was in a Ground Zero costume!).

By the time we said our goodbyes, the boys were in high spirits, fairly mellowed out after our shenanigans. There was a second chubby bunny challenge, which Deku won yet again. I really thought Zero would pull through this time! One day...one day he will make a food challenge comeback. I’m sure of it. Eventually.

Taking the situation in consideration, I’m doing relatively well!

It’s been a few days since I was admitted to the hospital, and while we haven’t discovered a cure for the condition that I’m in right now, we’re still hopeful that we’ll find something to counter the Quirk’s effects! 

Yesterday, I met with Aizawa-sensei and Haki-chan to see if Aizawa-sensei’s Quirk would work to negate the effects of her Quirk. 

For those of you who don’t know, Aizawa-sensei is a Pro Hero known as Eraserhead, and his Quirk gives him the ability to nullify the Quirks of others. He uses it to great advantage while performing his hero duties, but he certainly has other tricks up his sleeve than just his Quirk! Since his Quirk isn’t strictly offensive by itself, he’d developed an array of tactics that allow him to battle his opponents once they’ve been rendered, essentially, Quirkless. 

Unfortunately, his Quirk doesn’t appear to be the solution that we’re looking for— while I’m sure that anyone would’ve been able to touch Haki-chan while she was experiencing the effects of Aizawa-sensei’s Quirk, it didn’t seem to induce a change of the growth inside of me. 

I enjoyed meeting Haki-chan, though. She’s a very sweet girl, if a little scared of her own abilities— of course, I don’t blame her at all, but I’m sure that she’ll learn to control her Quirk with time and the proper guidance. I’m more than a little sad that she hasn’t been able to make any friends at the facilities that she’s spent her time at over the past year or so, but I made sure that she knew that she’s found a friend in me. 

I wish all the best for her and her future. 

To an extent— we know much about what medications her parents and the nurse were given, and we know who their caretakers were, and what treatments they underwent during their time as patients, but beyond that... there’s not much to be documented. 

We’re not sure how the nurse survived. 

Kacchan visited her yesterday— he was accompanied by a small team from the hospital. They asked her different questions— about her experience, about what she’d done prior and during her treatment, and about her life in general. 

She spoke about the death of father and a recent promotion that she’d earned at work. Kacchan expressed some, ah, aggravation that she kept talking on and on about her boyfriend, though I’m told that she’s very kind, and that she gave the team her personal phone number in case other questions arise in the future that we’d like to discuss. 

Unfortunately, the nurse couldn’t seem to pinpoint the change that may have saved her life, either. 

We’re not sure if there even was one.

S’little different than your usual insurance.

Usually depends on how how you’re working. If you work alone, if you’re in a team, or if you work through an agency. Gotta take into consideration how that agency’s set up, and how many heavy hitters are employed. 

Sometimes they provide group insurance. Whenever someone goes down and the rates go up, s’divided out amongst the group. Premiums increase for the whole team. Sometimes they take it straight outta your pay, sometimes they leave the payment process up to you. 

S’not just one kind of insurance you’ve gotta take into consideration, either. Life, health, liability— and so on. 

Deku and I are a little different, but we’ve got it covered, nonetheless.

It’s with a heavy heart that I have to announce that the DMB Clean Up Day event has been cancelled.

Unfortunately, it looks as if Ground Zero and I will be a little busy during the day that we’d planned to spend with you all. 

After contacting the medical staff, Pro Heroes, and instructors that were slotted to supervise the activities, we’ve decided that it would be best to postpone this service until a later date. 

Anyone who’d been looking forward to the gathering has my upmost apologies— I’m really sorry about the cancellation, and I feel terrible about having to cancel on all of you, especially after seeing how excited some of you were. 

I hope that we can all gather to clean up the beach together soon!

The meanings seem almost... nonsensical, though. 

The symbolic meaning of flowers differ from country to country, and even region to region. Of course, the meaning of the flowers could also vary depending on Haki-chan’s perception of these flowers, but she’s so young— she doesn’t exactly have a plethora of botanical knowledge at her disposal. 

After considering factors like these, we’ve decided to pursue other avenues when it comes to finding a solution to this mess.

I wouldn’t necessarily say that we had play dates, but we spent a lot of time in each other’s company.

To be fair, though— I was always the one that sought out Kacchan’s company, and not vice versa. It seemed as if every kid in the neighborhood wanted to play with him. He was always the leader when it came to what we’d all gather together. 

Say what you will about Kacchan— that he’s irritable or intimidating or ill-mannered —but he’s always had a this aura to him that draws people in. He’s a very magnetic person. 

Even if Kacchan isn’t your favorite person, you have to admit that he has a certain charisma that’s almost mesmerizing.
