That's it. I'm officially starting the tradition of SIDEQUEST SUNDAY. To destress before school and to release my creative spirit, I will do something fun every Sunday(cause i end up doing this at the end of the weekend anyway). For my first official Sidequest Sunday, I've begun improving my old Ralsei costume I started a year ago. Hopefully it gets done in time for Halloween!

Sidequest Sunday has returned to the Ralsei costume once again. I added some fun little sleeves and also DIY'ed the crap out of an underskirt to give the robe some more life!

I went to Goodwill and also a craft store with my besties to go look for random stuff and I found a black dress shirt and also another green dress!

I rubbed my two braincells together to cut off the dress shirt sleeves and turn them BACKWARDS for the baggy look that I really wanted for the sleeves! (Pls ignore my stitching. I haven't taken a single sewing lesson in my life, I was using what little knowledge I picked out of the dumpster that is my memory of other people discussing it.)

The green dress was originally going to be a replacement for the robe I had(color matches the hat), but it was too large, the wrong shape, and way to difficult to work with, so I removed and altered the skirt to give the outfit a little volume. Once again, TONS of amateur but very fun stitching.

Still a bit on the large side so I have some belts to keep it in place. It makes such a miniscule difference but I'm proud of it either way lul.

I also went back over the heart with an actual fabric marker, and it looks worlds better than the sharpie I was using. This whole "costume on a budget" activity has been a BLAST! Doesn't help that my intro to theater class just finished the costume designer unit so it's feeding my delusion lmao.

Oh. My. Gosh. I totally forgot to do Sidequest Sunday yesterday cause I was FaceTiming my brother all day. We were just talking about Monster Hunter Wild and stuff and making dumbass faces in the camera.

Sidequest Sunday!

I turned my initial Ace Attorney Dads tierlist into a fleshed out presentation for my friends hopefully! Not much, but I enjoyed it and it took me a few hours.

Almost forgot to post my latest Sidequest Sunday! Continuing the Ralsei theme, I made these cute little horn hairclips out of mini birthday hats I found in my junk drawer.

They may need an extra coat of paint :p

I am very proud of my Sidequest Sunday! I can't say much cause it's a surprise for a friend on here, but I will say my thumb hurts cause I had to keep restarting. Perfectionism go brrr.

Today's Sidequest Sunday was one of my favorites! I haven't had a lot of time to do music stuff, so today I buckled down and started writing again, lol. It's not much. It's not revolutionary. It's not performable(I need to practice). But the melody and words are done, and I had a ton of fun!!! Very reminiscent of all the half-joke/half-serious songs I used to blast back in high school.

I'm trying to actually write down the notes and stuff, but I do remember them, so I might not have to do the rest.

I had a very low-key Sidequest Sunday today! Went for bubble tea with a friend I hadn't seen in a bit. I have been craving bubble tea SO BAD for the past month. I scheduled another bubble tea day with another friend I haven't seen in months on Saturday. By the end of the year, I think I'll have tried all the flavors at the shop. This might be my new ongoing Sidequest now that I'm done with the Ralsei costume.

This was a fun Sidequest Sunday that I admittedly started yesterday (I had nothing to do Friday so it felt like the end of a weekend). Made a little detective/fingerprint dusting kit! It's just a paintbrush and some cornstarch but it works pretty well!

Some prints were easier to get than others but I'm not sharing any of the clearer ones. I got way too good at this for no reason. Wondering what I can add to the kit...
