My DPS Headcanons

If the poets had phones:

Neil: His search history could be full of “How to know if a boy likes me?” “How to flirt with a roommate?” “Am I gay?” in reddit/quora and he also might search for some unique deep english words to impress Todd

Todd: Will stop everything he is doing if a random idea pop ups on his mind and will quickly open the notes app and would probably be frustrated if he didn’t remembered the idea

Charlie: Would probably be the one who falls for the free iPhone scam ads

Knox: Would “occasionally” stalk Chris’ profile and would overthink of who is she talking about in her posts and is also probably searching “romantic places to date someone near me”

Gerard: Has a “unique” and different usernames all over his social media and would rant to Meeks about the “allow cookies” thing because he has not recieved any cookies at all (Idk I just found this funny 😭😭)

Meeks: The one who would use acronym and tone indicators ALOT and would take time to search what are the meanings of those new acronyms/tone indicators he encountered and is also taking a lot of time trying to decide what emojis he would use on a three-word phrase

Cameron: Would probably bully kids online and consider it as an achievement and whenever he accidentally forgot his ruler, he would just use his phone as his alternative ruler andd would use online flashcards to prepare for an exam

ps. idk if anyone had the same idea already but yeah anyways..

Lately, I’m doing better trying hard not to be a sore loser. Yesterday when I’m about to get out of the classroom, Bill asked me, “Do you think participating would give you new hopes and newfound confidence to become the person you wanted to be?” I smiled at him as I left the room with my mind going crazy on a circling motion. There is this urge to meet new people but my mind always holds me back and I’m getting frustated. And I stumbled upon this platform called “Tumblr.” I heard that people here are nice and friendly so, why don’t I stay here for a while?

Both of the character and admin are minor (please keep that in mind). But I might slightly tackle about some sensitive topics because I am trying to be as accurate as possible to Charlie from both the book and the movie! But I’ll still be sprinkling some bit of my headcanons into this character!

I’m getting sick whenever im thinking about one of the reasons why Neil chose to end it all is because he already felt how Todd feels towards him and Mr. Perry won’t never accept Neil as his son if he ever knew about that and Neil just hopes that in another universe, he’ll still meet Todd and become maybe more than “friends” without anybody judging them

Meeks was the very first anderperry shipper (if you have saw that scene when knox called chris on the phone) he already knew it! He would’ve published something inspired by those two but as you know, Neil ended it all which could also be one of the many reason/s of Meeks’ grieving for his friend.

A mini headcanon abt anderperry I guess..

Todd and Neil are the type of couple who would share a wired earphones whenever they want to listen to music for example; when they’re riding at a bus! Todd would always be sleepy and Neil would let him lean on his shoulder as he plays with Todd’s hair

They don’t like those matching shirts with like “I’m hers, I’m his” type of thing because Todd would feel embarassed so instead when they go on a date, they would wear outfits that somehow compliments the overall colors of each other’s OOTD!

I believed I already made this one with the theme park one and I think I already have the same vision and it might just get repeated if I did this so, instead:

The poets’ favorite places!

Neil and Todd will probably like the amusement parks, yes!! Todd would love eating the snacks (esp if there is a cotton candy or maybe a mac & cheese on sight!) Neil would play games and stuffs to win prizes for him to give Todd and will say it is a “token of appreciation” for him for always staying by his side (NEILL!! IS IT REALLY JUST A TOKEN OF APPRECIATION?? NOT SOME SORT OF VALENTINES GIFT!!!? JJSBDISH) +Neil would also occasionally visit the theatre with Todd (pretty self explanatory I guess..)

Knox would love going to bars and parties, (pretty self explanatory) but only if Chris was there! Would also occasionally visit some nearby gift shops!

Charlie would also love going to bars and parties! He would also love visiting malls and stuffs cuz yk..,, he got the money!!

Pitts and Meeks would LOVE LOVE LOVE radio stations! Or maybe in a studio to maybe try and produce some songs? 🤔🤔 (idrk tbh..) Also, Pitts would occasionally visit coffee shops to have some time for himself!

Cameron would visit local libraries to ofc, study! He is a total opposite of Charlie (as we all both know) so yeah and do you think he would love attending courtroom sessions? 🤔 (you guys might find this weird because it is my hc but I just wanna ask u guys abt this and would love to hear your thoughts DJNDJSBSK)

Mr. Keating would ofc consider a school as his second home, it’s where he feels like he belongs, he could also be a good advocate among the people and would also be a good therapist! I NEED TO KNOW WHERE HE WENT AFTER THE FILM LIKE PLSSSS

Btw sorry if it’s kind of short, I don’t really have that much ideas rn because I poured it all over the 6 paged analysis thing that is one of the requirements on our class and let me tell you it was EXHAUSTING AND EXCRUCIATING

Charlie and Knox is the duo who would often be together by having car rides and Charlie would be the one screaming “I am the greatest!!” while Knox would just cover his face because of shame and second hand embarassment

Another one of my DPS Headcanons

Posting one of these again because I think this is one of the longest I have written so far and I thought of sharing it to you guys <3

If poets (+Mr. Keating) are at the theme park:

Neil: He is the type of person who would be the first to ride all the available rides and eat all types of snacks he sees until his pocket money eventually runs out. He also encourages Todd to interact with people because he wants Todd to experience the feeling of meeting new and unfamiliar people and knowing their story.

Todd: Being the boy he is, he would just follow along with the group and will probably throw up the moment they go back from the theme park. If he wants to go to a ride, he would awkwardly face the ride like signalling everyone “hey can we ride this one?” And Neil will always notice it. He pets the stray cats but Charlie says that the cats might be too dirty too touch ( :((( )

Charlie: He might be the one who would spend the most money in the trip. The group will challenge him to approach a girl and he would occasionally come to one of the girls in the theme park to probably flirt with. He makes sure everyone is on sight and no one of them goes missing

Knox: Would occasionally find himself stumbled upon the booths where it sells some romantic stuffs (Teddy Bears, chocolates, flowers and etc.) And he would hide it at the trunk of the car. He is probably the one who would ride lesser rides.

Gerard: He might be the one who would bump into kids often. He, Meeks and Cameron could be also debating about how the ride was being operated. “Come on, is there no ride that would make me vomit?” He also asks to take a picture of him while posing to a structure

Meeks: He is so fascinated about the technology of the rides to the point that he would just stare and observe at it instead of joining the group on riding it. Before going to one of the rides, he puts away his glasses, put it in one of his pockets to prevent it from getting lost while at the ride (he learned from his experience as a kid). Would probably make some wild theories on how the rides could’ve be originated

Cameron: He is the one that “insisted” on joining the ride but joins in anyways. He had an argument with one of the operators because the ride is not available and is currently going under maintenance.

Mr. Keating: He would encourage everyone to go by themselves and as for him, he would just buy a snack and sit in one of the benches to read a book and admire the beauty of the place. He would also greet the passer-by’s and is the one who would do headcounts to make sure everyone gets home safely. (He is such a father figure)

Idk if there is already an idea about this but please lmk just in case!
