I'd just like to say that this poem was written for a piece of art drawn by my wonderful friend over on Instagram. Below is the artwork I wrote this poem for. Her handle over on Insta is @quillathy and I seriously recommend any art enthusiasts to check her out.

I Made Me

I am what you made me, And if that makes me a monster, Then so be it.

I am what you made me, And if that makes me a fool, Then so be it.

I am what you made me And if that makes me a poet, Then so be it.

I am what you made me, But I am not what you think of me. For I made myself abstract, Picked up my own pieces, And made a mosaic.

You made the glass, And I coloured it.

You broke the glass, And I made art of it.

Its secret satan time!!!! this is my first (and final 😢) time participating in the DSS, and everyone put their absolute all in for this final iteration, every single piece i have seen has absolutely blown me away !!! I got to draw for @lyn-the-goblin-but-art, and i was really taken by Odan's design! I had a lot of fun drawing this character, def go check the artist out :D

I wanted to make a simple reference for Bela, one of the forms taken by the bbeg of an old dnd campaign! She's an autumn eladrin but in like the most basic way LMAO

Serenity 'Sera' Moore, a satyr druid (circle of stars)!! The idea behind Sera's story has been floating in my brain for ever and ever but I saved designing her for when I would have a campaign to use her for, and that time finally came :D

I designed me and the friends I play dnd with as dnd characters in Daeryth! (My home-brewed campaign setting) except they just kind of turned into new ocs bc i started thinking of lore and got invested lmao

Meet Holly Larulin, a tiefling illusionist better known by her alias Lilli of the Valley! She'll be taking over as my main sona too :)

Next is Forest Babb, a gnomish bard (college of spirits) multiclassing as a monk! And finally Lin Yue, a half-elf wild magic sorcerer x archfey warlock, who I have become kind of obsessed with and who has the most lore so far haha

I picked up my watercolours for the first time in like...a year 💀 I discovered I had like 3 unused watercolour sketchbooks so I had to lock in and draw something, cue my default Pretty Tiefling Lady Portrait™️

Current name I'm thinking for her is Lysandra Tavares but I am open to suggestions 🎀

Continuing the Daerythine Deities series with the Heartflame, the second of the Advancer gods, the goddess of platonic love, family, fire, and the hearth (her holy symbol)

Baencla has never been that relevant to any of our games so I didn't really have a concrete visual for her going into this, but I like how it turned out! She glowww

My friend proposed a call of cthulhu oneshot so of course I had to make at least a sketch of my character

I might make this into a proper painting at some point idk 🤷🏼‍♀️ but for now, this is Edward/Amelia Pierce, a trans woman and drag queen who goes by the stage name Amelia Carmine! She is part of a lesbian polycule we have dubbed the polycthulhule

Last watercolour portrait at least for this batch! A Tetra for @meadow_cryptid ! She has such a gorgeous character design and I had to draw her, I'm really happy with how this face came out :D

omg it's a goblin 🗣🗣‼️‼️‼️ I got to draw @rabbitthewriter 's adorable Jam for an oc drawing event and I had so much fun with this piece I managed to finish it entirely today (my wrist is so mad at me right now)

The animation gremlins infected my brain, hence the dancing lights hehe

And thus begins a new series! Finally going to take on the task of drawing all of Daeryth's (major) deities, starting with one of the more simple ones, Shyaeri! Shyaeri is worshipped by clerics, monks, and wizards alike, as the god of knowledge and fate.

Shyaeri also presides over one of Daeryth's moons, Sharys.

The Holy day of Shyaeri is Xieban'zhan, which falls on Mylaiden First of Secindar, a Festival of academia and prayer for the fates to be kind for the second half of the year.

Background practice, featuring the Lageallain family home's balcony and the neighbouring scenery! Really wanted to capture a kind of fairytale whimsy with this and I think it worked :D
