Which means, unfortunately, if they haven't shown up yet, I'm not sure this little one's parents are going to be coming back for it." he looked up at her. "Well, if push comes to shove, do you have any experience in looking after children?"

“I-I don’t have any experience at all!!! I can’t take care of another pokémon! I would be better off leaving the egg with a human who could care for it than to have it under my metaphorical wings!!”

She seems exasperated at the thought, pacing back and forth worried over it. “Why would a Gothitelle just abandon its young like that? It makes no sense to me!”

“I…I suppose if no one worthy were to care for it I could, but…” Her face continues to be that of panic, warmth surging from the nerves. “I would much rather not! I’m just not ready for that type of responsibility!”

rundown:

Scarlett (Lopunny) is usually quite nice. Occasionally though, she will be overly judgy. She might ask about hobbies, aspiration, family. 

Quill (Gothitelle) can be friendly but he can also be kind of an asshole (he thinks very highly of himself) and he likes asking about taste in things like music, clothes etc. (which he may also insult if it is known). Also he likes to meet other Psychic types especially other Goth - line / hybrid Pokemon. (But at the same time, he is also more likely to be competitive around other Gothitelles)

Rowan (Gardevoir) is unhinged, has no filter, and no concept of personal space. She will not mind her own business. She may come off as very tactless -- despite all this she is almost never rude on purpose. She is loud and can be scary to shy or timid Pokemon because of it. She asks basically anything.

Jo (Obstagoon) is impolite. He is very casual, if you are a god, royalty etc. he’s not going to care. Is flirty on rare occasions. Though, he will usually be chill with strangers unless he feels like he has a reason not to be, or is showing off. He just doesn’t care about formalities. Asks about basically anything.

Sophie (Hypno) is even more relaxed than any of them. She is not likely to judge you, and she will ask about job/hometown/less personal questions.

Flavian (Primarina) is polite but he is firm. He is not a sweetheart, but he isn’t rude or annoying. He can be a little nosey. Asks about worldbuildy lore stuff, or personal stuff like feelings or family.

How pretty is Gothitelle?

I think it looks nice. It definitely inspired a lot of young goths, that's for sure. The bows are very pretty, and I like the eyes, but the head shape seems off to me. Quill says that those things on the side of it are ears? If so, why do they need six ears? Whatever works, I guess. 6/10.

“It.. is nice to know that I have someone that is by my side, but sometimes it can be frustrating. We don’t exactly see things the same way...” she explains as she examines the large Pokemon, curious about them from how much they look like a human.

“We battle quite a bit, but mostly to train. Glas says that we are still a bit young to travel on our own, but we do have a combo attack. We’ll rally ourselves up with a Howl before charging in with a double Quick Attack. If that doesn’t finish the fight, he’ll then boost me with Helping Hand before I kick them!” she reveals, crouching a little from her getting excited to explain it. She soon becomes flustered and stands up straight with a swish of her tail. 

“What about you? Do you have someone you team up with for fights?” she asks.

“I can’t see details too well within the silhouette of a figure, but the outside edges of the silhouette have gotten clearer for me to see, so that’s helpful at the very least.” the Gothitelle said softly. “With pretty much all figures, their eyes illuminate. With Dark types, the eyes still illuminate for me, but much more dimly.”

He sighed before giving a smirk.

“But hey, I’ll take temporarily blurry over complete blackness any day~”

Hey, so I saw your post above Gallade facts and I'm curious. What kind of Pokemon do the Gallade/Gardevoir evolution line that's closely related? Are Gallades related to Bisharp and or Gardevoirs related to Hatterene?

(Oh my God I've been wanting to talk about the evolution tree for so long, thank you for asking this)

Pokemon Related to the Gardevoir Line

1. Bisharp

Bisharp are more related to gallades than they are gardevoir. They both have sword-like appendages on their elbows, live in similar habitats, and were both bred for fighting. Unlike gallade though, the metalic feeling spread to their entire body instead of just their head (this includes King Gambit btw, I just chose bisharp because it's more well known).

2. Hatterene

Hatterene and gardevoir share many similarities. They're both psychic/fairy type, have both dress and hair-like extensions, both are feminine looking. But I think the reason hatterene behaves so differently form gardevoir (more violent prone, will kill if too noisy, prefers to be left alone) is that an ancient form of gardevoir had to defend against something, and evolution did its thing, making them an all new species adapted for that situation.

3. Ceruledge & Armarougue

These pokemon look so much like gallade that's it's very obvious. When I first saw one, I legit thought it was a regional form until I talked to their trainers.

4. Gothitelle

Gothitelle and gardevoir are also incredibly similar. They both share the psychic typing, they both can see the future, they both have a stargazing theme (gothitelle more than gardevoir), similar body shapes, and are both feminine looking.

Instead of sharing a common ancestor, I think that gothitelle might've evolved from gardevoirs. But they were probably heavily bred by humans, as the whole goth theme and following what would appeal to humans.

Deo watched helplessly from the ground-- restrained by Dioxys' psychic energy. His fingers scrapped against the floorboards hard enough for the wood to snap and tear. Why did they come here?! Deo just couldn't understand it, for he thought they knew better. He thought they would make it easy. He thought they would just let it happen.

Why.. do they keep coming here..? Deo's senses buzzed like static in his mind. There was another. A familiar psychic type teleported before him..

Dioxys tilted his head at Chai as she squirmed in his grasp. It was so.. unsightly.

"The truth is that he lies in a home every night that is not his. He dreams of another that is not his. He doesn't dream of you. Your friend, Deo..- He stays in a universe far from his because he ran away just like how he would have ran away from you, and he stays far away because everyone we knew together is dead. The best part? Everyone we knew is dead because of him and exclusively him."

"The truth is that we had a job to do, and he turned his back on all of us. Don't you undestand? Deo's sins are not something that can be washed away with a few jokes and games. He needs a comeuppance."

Dioxys, of course, sensed the newest intruder, but he figured that he could actually turn this into a beneficial lesson for Deo before his death. He could show Deo just how many people he drags down with him.

"Deo and I were supposed to save everyone. We were supposed to do that together."

"Instead, our entire planet is dead, and your friend, Deo, left me behind empty walls."

Deo's body surged with Quill's psychic energy. It was just enough to set the first lock in his Psychic Well open.

He had to snap out of this.

"Thank you, fr-," Deo stammered. With a gentle squeeze of Quill's hand, he signified the Gothitelle to help him to his feet, but he was in a haze.. Deo struggled-- only managing to get onto his knees. "Quill, you have to go," he mumbled, but it was too late.

Dioxys took notice. He had released Chai in favor of glaring towards Quill and Deo.

The psychic energy that bubbled at Dioxys' fingertip was smothering.

With a bead of energy released, an adage spoken, "Rites begin when the sun descends."

The explosion from the psychic bead started small with only the destruction of the western flank, but just as quickly as the energy released, it sank back into itself. A reverberation- a second explosion erupted large enough to blow the entire home away.

Smoke and ash fluttered under the touch of moonlight as Dioxys stood in the middle of his work. He watched as bits of wood and stone flew down from the night sky like rain, and he paid careful attention to the life signatures around him.

"Still alive?" Dioxys called into the night-- a rhetorical question. He knew that at the very last second.., Deo managed to shield his acquaintances from any lethal wounds.

With a sigh, Dioxys began to make his way towards Deo's buried body in the rubble.

"You never learn, do you?"

She’s one of the few people to have not only shared my own interests, but also understand my personality almost perfectly. Any pokeblogs you love right now ? Maybe because of story, or some because of art/style/character ?

Ohhh, yeah, there's always quite a few I'm into. And y'all know me, I like spreading the love, so this is likely gonna be pretty long. I hate walls of text, so I'm gonna put this under a "Keep Reading" tab.

But anyway, I'll be giving some love to both people I gush about a lot and some of the more recent ones I've been into.

- Even though it's in the epilogue now, @askthetraveller has probably one of the most likable and three-dimensional characters in the entire community and a neat gimmick with each of the characters only being open for asks for a very limited amount of time before they're gone for good.

- Owli is a good friend of mine and has always been a huge inspiration for me art-wise. Their current active blog is @askshadowridercalyrex which just has almost everything I like about Owli's blogs. Legendaries, beautiful art, anatomy that I wish I could emulate, a rodent, Spectrier drawn a little more to look like a gross monster... all we're missing is a dinosaur and/or dragon here. But hey, the blog just started so who knows?

- Bat is another good friend in the community who's also been a big inspiration for me art-wise, and they have two ask blogs I love for the opposite reasons. @askcapital is based around Bat's signature OC and seems like it'll have a bit more plot and world-building which I'm excited for. Also, Capital is just a smug asshole and has been a lot of fun to witness so far. Meanwhile, @askpharos is a more laid-back chill blog with lots of neat character designs and dad energy, and ngl, anything involving Leilani hanging out with Bell Pepper is basically serotonin at this point.

- And for one more good friend, I gotta throw some credit at Fay. They're always willing to put up with me asking for art advice, and I continue to maintain that @neverlandfaerai has to be one of the most underrated blogs in the community. Like, Fay deserves 10 times the follower count they have based on the quality of their art alone. Everything about it is very whimsical and ethereal, and their world-building, character designs, and take on Darkrai are all extremely original. Who would have thought Darkrai and mermaids would go so well together?

- @asksavel has some of most expansive and interesting lore of anybody in the community, so much so that it all started on another ask blog (@askomni , also a great read) and has a fantastic cast of characters, particularly the main duo Savel and Levas. They've grown so much as characters since the blog began, and it's been a delight seeing their relationship develop until the big reveal. I also just really enjoy the lore surrounding the Incarnates and how the blog emphasizes how negative emotions are needed to balance out the positive ones (like with Farrow not forgiving their abusive family, for example). I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how the blog progresses especially with binch kibby controlling my big stupid dragon now.

- @psychicduo is another more laid-back blog with probably one of my favorite ships in the community in Quill x Scarlett and with the focus shifted to them, I'm more invested in their relationship and Scarlett's story now. I know Quill and Scarlett have single-handedly changed people's opinions of Gothitelle and Mr. Mime respectively (and personally, Sophie's getting there for for me with Hypno), because Russ's take on them is so unique and so unlike what GF portrays them as.

Those are probably some of my top favorite blogs, and I shout them out a lot, but I also want to give some shout outs to some other blogs I've been

- First of all, Jordy in general, who runs @ask-neontiger, @askingstickypaws, and @teampursuit because they have been KILLING IT lately with the updates. I'm especially invested in ask-neontiger right now, and I like how the story has become progressively darker as the blog has proceeded. All three of the main cast is extremely likable, but I'd have to say Addy is probably my favorite because she gives off a "cool big sis" vibe, and I also like Gaige on sticky paws because they're a lovable scamp. And just in general, it's been amazing seeing Jordy progress as an artist and storyteller and even branch into trying new things, like their snake Eeveelutions and teampursuit being a Pokemon/Monster Hunter crossover blog. Overall a really cool mun with some awesome blogs to follow!

- Speaking of people who have been killing it lately, I think @occasionallucario deserves a lot of love, too. I always liked the 80's/90's anime style that Zero has going on, like they nailed that style between the lineart, shading, facial expressions, character designs, everything. But lately, I love have been loving this collaboration fight scene with Damun, like it feels like something I would see an actual manga and I am loving it! Zero has really grown as an artist and storyteller since they began, and I've been excited to see their progress. Seriously, teach me how to draw fight scenes like that totally not because I won't need it for my own blog's plot aldfhfaslkfh.

- For a blog that I understand has returned recently, I was looking through @askanrattata when trying to think of an ask to send and I really enjoyed what I saw! Even if it is older content and, the art style on this blog is so clean and friend-shaped and charming and just chef's kiss I couldn't help but fall in love with it. I always like seeing people use more underrated Pokemon for their characters, so seeing a Rattata and a Zubat as the main characters is definitely a breath of fresh air (especially Zubat, I don't think I've ever seen a Zubat character in the community), and the idea of a show Rattata is definitely neat! ^^ And heck, while this blog seems like more of a chill, laid-back blog, I like Ratsputin's design too. Looks very NIMH to me. TL;DR a "newer" blog I've been enjoying a lot lately, and I look forward to seeing more. ^^

- And finally, @dawdlingdewgong is another more chill blog with a neat kleptomaniac seal, and that's all it really needs to be. I vibe a lot with this art style, and I can't really explain why. I just really like the bright colors and the lineart and the different take on Dewgong. And I like how everybody looks very friend-shaped too adshfkasdhf.
