i have to say its very interesting to see adopt dont shoppers spout their weirdo shit and then i go to their profile and they posts TONSS of cute puppy and kitten vids/pics…. of purebred animals. Like you know the oriental shorthair vids u just posted is from a breeder right, u are NOT finding one of those in the shelter lol. Like the dissonance is astounding, these people want nice purebred animals but theyre so caught up in the ~all breeders are bad~ mindset that they think these nice quality animals truly show up in shelters and one day theyll have their shot at adopting a rare breed lol.

#sure purebreds end up in shelters #generally apbt gsd husky heeler etc common breeds #but those are not quality dogs they are byb and generally have TONS of issue that well bred ones from a responsible breeder dont have #a husky from the shelter vs a husky from a responsible breeder are WORLDS apart #uncommon/rare breeds show up SOMETIMES again usually byb and they get so many applications it’s insane #the wellbred ones that rarely end up in shelter are usually pulled from the breeder/breed community to be reunited with the breeder very #quicly. bc responsible breeders want their dogs back to safety and not adopted from some rando shelters #this is something these people cant get through theur heads.wellbred vs byb dogs #shit breeders vs responsible breedes
