so to riff off my earlier post, i'm leaving to interrail solo tomorrow (technically today since it was 00:19 when i started this post and 00:45 now but whatever)

officially i'm planning to do it for abt a month then fly back to the uk from athens. officially the plan is berlin > vienna > trains to an italian port > greece. either way, i've got my annual leave booked off until 12th august, though i was planning to come back 1-1.5 weeks earlier.

however

despite having lived abroad for a year (i mean. in ireland. which isn't really "abroad" bc i've spent summer there every year since i was born + have most of my family over there), i am slightly petrified shitless. mostly bc i'm autistic and i tend to need quite a bit of recharging time, and vienna is in a hostel (a small and nice one, admittedly) and thereafter it's night trains riding couchette (aka sharing w strangers) to greece plus a ferry where i don't even have a cabin.

it also doesn't help that i had a four-day conference last week and i barely feel like i've recovered from that. i haven't had a single chance for a lie-in since 29th june and i won't have a chance for another until wednesday 10th july.

bc the italy-greece reservations were dirt cheap bc interrail, i am considering either a) stick to the current plan but if i get exhausted, fly back from vienna to the uk bc i don't have a ton of luggage, maybe stay overnight at a airport hotel, then yeet back home or b) maybe extend my trip in vienna, go back to berlin and stay a while extra there, or maybe even take a night train to amsterdam/brussels and chill there for a while.

like i think it's kinda obvious why the italy-greece portion is so stressful, but it also doesn't help that while i do know a decent bit of german, i know a handful of italian and zero greek. and my greece plans include going to veria, which may be a city but it seems like a much less touristy city than athens or thessaloniki.

so yeah. much tired. very paranoid of how this trip will go. in hindsight my last post kinda foreshadowed this, lol. it's 50/50 how long i'll last abroad so uh, i've got a ton of posts queued up that should last the next 12 days at least and i'll be able to browse pretty regularly while in berlin, so that helps.

State of the Kingdom - 27.05.2023

Story

I actually managed to finish "The Court Wizard" - didn't think I would but that's how this usually goes. I say "there is no way I get this finished in time" publicly and then my brain goes  into stubborn "but what if I did?" Mode. And here we are. Some 50k words of Zargothrax mischief. 

The Covers are all sketched out, but there are 23 of them and only 5 are outlined yet. Since the story itself still needs some edits for sure that checks out time wise. So nothing today, probably next week too since I won't be around much next week in the first place (some minor hospital stuff)

Will try for the 10th of June to start uploading this one.

I pushed out a major update to the side last month, including:

Addition of all Gloryhammer / ULF pictures uploaded so far (aka. Like 250 pictures uploaded which drove me near insane by monotony despite writing a dedicated mass upload function for it) - now only the Story Covers are missing.

Updates to the look and feel of the gallery

Major additions to the Wiki, including a now extra page for all Characters. I added a lot already, not all of them have info yet, but they grab all the relevant pictures from the gallery and display them for each character which I think is pretty neat! 

Also added files for some other things like the Hammer and the Planets Hatir and Tyr!

Major overhaul of the Theshvo Page - now ordered with sense. Disclaimer; I have no clue about grammar. I barely know what word is what kind of word on the best of days xD

The last of the more random art is getting out now, after that there is a whole set of ones I'm really happy with. Seemed like I had an episode there xD One RttKoF art thing too is queued for the release week of the album!

Two fics from me in one day?! Whaaaaaat?!

Truthfully I forgot I posted one already bc after I posted it I went straight into writing the second one and finished it much faster than I expected to, but oh well! You're welcome everyone😉

All jokes aside I did want to say I'm going to try and queue up some posts if I can get a few extras done, but my very best friend in the whole world (like this girl has been my best friend for over 20 years, I'm obsessed with her) is getting married and her bachelorette party is this coming weekend!

So I'll be traveling and celebrating from Thursday-Sunday and unless I can get a few things queued to fill the space, there's gonna be a lull in my posts! So let's say that's the real reason why I posted twice today😅😅

Usually work is quite boring (which is why I have so much time to write tbh) but it might pick up this week since I'll be out for two days. It's my goal to post once a day this week before I go but realistically I would like to get at least 2 posts out before I leave for the weekend.

I have ... a lot of essays I have been rotating around in my head. I've been very interested in cwriting... I guess you can call them "in character" essays, where I pick a subject, reference made-up sources and go to town (maybe this is becoming my niche? haha).

Not too sure how many I will be able to actually complete given that I have school starting from Jan 10th, exams in May-June, and also university to prep for haha ;w; but I really want to get another one done.

I think that’s what to explain about gg’s Japan trip. The post actually explains very well how dd was mirroring gg’s post back in 2017, when they first met, and how gg started doing the same thing after filming The Untamed in 2018.

However, the clue you are talking about was dd deleting some posts, so both his and gg’s post congratulating each other for their birthdays were both the number 622 in their accounts.

When gg congratulated dd on 190805 it was the post number 622 of his account, which I think it was a coincidence, but then dd deleted some of his posts to make his the number 622 too. 

And what a coincidence! The 22nd of June in 2019 was actually the 20th of the 5th month in the lunar calendar (this year was the 10th of July), and a 05/20 is modern Valentine’s Day in China because of the kadian 520 (”I love you”).

There are more possible meanings of 622 according to bxg, but I think most of them are unlikely to be true.

The language barrier is a huge hurdle here, and I’ll add a little bit. I found it difficult to get even though I read Chinese more or less fluently, so I added a bit in case it helps you to understand it.

In gg’s post (left) he doesn’t spell out “Wang Yi Bo” diirectly, but rather he uses homophones.

“Towards, to, in direction of” = Wang (往)

Yi (一) = here is rather the visual of the pic, that looks like the character in wyb’s name.

“Museum” = Bo(wuguan) (��物馆）the first character is actually the same as his name’s.

In dd’s post (right), he spelled a two-character name in three pics (too hard for it to be coincidental, don’t you think?).

The first pic represents the upper part of the character “Xiao”. The branches looks roughly like this: Ψ, which represents the three little strokes at the top of 肖。

The second pic represents then the lower part. It’s hard to see, but it looks like this 月.

The last picks a homophone. 场 (chang, ‘stage’) sounds similar to “zhan”.

Fuji TV will broadcast "SUITS / スーツ" based on the international mega hit drama "SUITS" as the Getsuku Drama in the period of October 2018 has been announced. Oda Yuji will be starring during Getsuku for the first time in ten years, and will co-star with Nakajima Yuto of Hey! Say! JUMP.

Original popular drama "SUITS" is the original

The original "SUITS" produced by Aaron Korsh and planned by "Universal Cable Productions" for the "USA Network" is set up at a major law firm office in New York. The legal drama is centered around a well-known lawyer, Harvey Specter (Gabriel, Macht), who challenges various lawsuits along with his talented team. Broadcasting started in the whole country in the US in June 2011, and is now on season 8 and has been recorded for bringing in more than 4.6 million first-time audiences.

This Getsuku′s "SUITS / スーツ" is the original season 1 of "SUITS." From the encounter between Harvey Spector and his young associate Mike Ross, the two become a tough team and chase after the success of resolving various lawsuits.

What is the "SUITS / スーツ" story?

Hero of the "SUITS / スーツ," Kai Shochu (Oda) is a skilled lawyer belonging to "Yukimura and Uesugi Law Firm," one of the four major law firm offices in Japan. Although the head is also cheap with an excellent person recognized by both professionals and others, on the other hand, is quite arrogant in character. If it is for victory it is also possible to use a rude way of illegal action. He believes that the only way to satisfy the client is to win, not being confused by emotions, and obsessed with "victory."

Kai is an elite in the elites who had a history of studying abroad at Harvard University after entering the University of Tokyo, and is responsible mainly for "making money" from acquisitions and mergers of companies, and strategic alliances between companies. In the "Yukimura and Uesugi Law Office" to which he belongs, he is at the top level earnings budget, reaching a position to become a senior partner (a lawyer who has a position as an investor and also participates in office management).

The boss recognizes Kai as a bread-winner of the office but someone who is extremely proud and arrogant, and has him hire an associate (a young lawyer working as a partner) as a condition of promotion in Kai Presented. Kai who accepted that condition though did not feel comfortable, opens an interview meeting for recruiting new recruits.

Who came across coincidently was a clear brain and a phenomenal full memory ability that never forgets what he saw, but living a part-time freeter life due to a bad friend and works a variety of industries. It was Suzuki Daiki (Nakajima) who earned living expenses for taking the bar examination.

"SUITS / スーツ" Nakajima Yuto's Role

Daiki has been brought up under his grandmother since he lost his parents in a traffic accident at a young age. In order to reduce the economic burden of his grandmother, he started a part-time job delivering newspapers since entering junior high school, but due to the influence of bad friend of classmate he met there, he was pressured to fight, shoplift and escape.

Still, the results of the noble are excellent, he was advised to take a "judicial preliminary exam" from his homeroom teacher during high school, became the youngest to pass during autumn of high school. However, before challenging the actual judicial exam, he was under a bad friend's cousin’s influence and found that I got a university center exam and dropped out of high school. As a result, Daiki who has ceased to be able to take the bar exam, decides to move to Tokyo and become independent.

Although he was able to get a job a couple of times, he was living as a part-time worker for a long time, and seduced by a bad friend who had already succumbed to law-breaking, began taking exams for various industries. Incorporating the features of the original "SUITS" such as a compact script which was kneaded, a response of a speedy and humorous serif, an attractive and powerful character team, and representatives of each generation, Oda & Nakajima, subliming them further by casting actors.

Two unbearable people who are incompatible, "a tolerable but arrogant elite lawyer," "a life-saving genius freeter," set up a partnership and solve a number of difficult escape litigation by all means, and becomes a pleasant entertainment legal drama.

For the first time in 10 years since the 10th anniversary of "Homeroom on the Beachside" (July 2008), "Producer said that "Getsuku drama began a new challenge," so I think that I would like to take on a new challenge in response to this," Oda said.

When asked about playing a lawyer for the first time, "Although I was thinking of the hardship of the cast that there are many difficult words from the time of seeing the original, I do not think that I will let you do it. Now, I am worrying about myself so I am doing my best. I am learning lawyer Iroha right now by listening to an actual lawyer," and revealed that he is struggling hard, "Although the pressure to doing Mike Ross's position himself is great only for the original drama that I like, too. Stylish, cool, laughing, crying and making the best entertainment to make it live up to the original name will build up."

This time Oda and Nakajima co-star this time. "I am very much looking at how he plays "Genius Suzuki Daiki." I think that it is hard to have a lot of difficult lines, but I am counting on him as a partner." I have been focusing my attention on "SUITS" as a fan since the start of the 2011 broadcast. I would like to express my gratitude to all of those concerned in the US "SUITS" to be able to produce that Japanese version.

It is the first trial of "Getsuku Drama" that I will do the nationwide hit drama as the original, so I think that I would like to make a topical work by all means! Also, Oda-san and Mr. Nakajima will be able to perform important characters such as Harvey and Mike which are the core of this drama, and I feel intense "winning." Oda-san and Nakajima-san are definitely best casting choices as a result of thinking through seven years!

As most of you know, I’m moving end of next week--this means that I won’t be as active on @ocappreciation for a time while I get settled.  But I must confess, ocapp means a lot to me and I want to make things a little easier for the other admins, since I usually do most of the queuing.  That being said--I’m gonna do a short manip giveaway to make sure the ocapp queue is well-stocked during my absence.
